About: Growing up with various dog breeds from small to large since before I was born, I have extensive experience of all ages. For my 7th birthday I asked for a kitten and brought her up with love and care until she sadly passed of old age. I have previously volunteered as a foster carer for dogs and have been able to confidently meet all of the needs and wants of those in my care. Having recently completed my studies at university, I have taken the decision to continue with pet care as it’s my real passion. I only board one families pets at a time in my home, however, I regularly have daycare dogs joining them for a day of play and socialisation. It’s never a dull day here! I am happy to look after your pet either in your home or mine. I have a house with a fenced garden and no other pets at home (except for a fish but he’s no bother and in a secure tank). There are lots of beautiful walks locally with open green areas to explore whilst out and about on walkies. I have 2 children, aged 10 and 12 who are extremely confident with pets, however, they will never be left alone with any dogs or cats and are at school during the day.

About: I used to look after dogs in my previous home with my family. I now live in my own house and want to continue looking after pets. I love all dogs all sizes and all cats. My parents have 2 cats in the family home and have grown up with cats since I was born and look after theirs regularly too. I’m currently studying my masters at university where I only have lectures on a friday and play football some evenings and on a sunday. About: My husband and I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and needs. We previously adopted and cared for an elderly rescue dog, and we currently have our own 18-month-old dog, so day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention are all a big part of our lives. Alongside our own dogs, we have also looked after dogs belonging to family and friends, so we are comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, temperaments and routines. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we already have our own 18-month-old dog, so walks, feeding, playtime and general care are already part of everyday life. We both work from home, so between us there is always someone here to provide supervision, companionship and regular care throughout the day. My husband and I both enjoy being around dogs and are used to planning our day around their needs, whether that’s regular toilet breaks, exercise, companionship or sticking to a dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled and comfortable. We provide a safe, calm and caring environment and always try to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible. At home, we have a secure rear garden for supervised toilet breaks and outdoor time, and pets would have plenty of attention, company and a comfortable space to settle. We are mindful of feeding routines, exercise needs and any instructions provided by the owner, including medication, lead walking preferences or anything else important to their dog’s care. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, we would always respect their routine and home environment, making sure their dog feels comfortable and secure in familiar surroundings. We understand how important trust is, so we would keep owners updated and treat every pet with the same care and attention we give our own.

Laura looked after Carter for 8 nights and it was amazing; even tough we were in a different time zone, we got regular pictures and videos updates of Carter in the house, the garden, playing with his toys and even updates about his (very quirky) daily routines! Prior to booking Laura, we had a meet and greet, and Carter fell in love with her right away - she is very obviously an animal person, and this came across immediatley. Between the meet nd greet and the start date, we had lots of communication, to make sure everything was in place for the visit, which made us feel really comfortable. The house was left really clean and tidy - you wouldn't have even known someone had stayed over! We would highly recommend Laura, and if Carter could type, I'm sure he would too!
Sarah looked after Maverick, our Ragdoll, while we were away and I couldn't have asked for more. She sent daily photos and updates without being prompted, kept his feeding routine exactly as we'd left it, and clearly spent proper time with him. The house was left tidy, litter tray spotless, and she flagged one small thing she'd noticed without any fuss. Reliable, communicative, and obviously a cat person. We'll be booking her again and would recommend her to anyone.
Marina stepped in to help us out when a previous sitter had double booked. She was kind and courteous and put us at ease that she would look after Tilly with love and care. Marina kept us updated with photos and text whilst we were away. She looked after our home with respect and left it neat and tidy. We came home to a happy and contented Tilly and knew she had been cared for with love and affection. We would certainly have Marina to sit for us again. Rosie was great! Belle took to her instantly and was very happy and relaxed with her all day. Rosie is experienced and capable with dogs, and it was very reassuring to know we could leave our elderly and often anxious much-loved Belle with her. We thoroughly recommend her and hope she can sit for us again.
Niamh looked after our dog, Willow, at our house last Friday and Saturday while we were away, and she was fantastic! Willow was so comfortable staying in her own environment and bonded with Niamh instantly. We loved receiving lots of photo and video updates throughout the weekend, which gave us total peace of mind. Courtnay was fantastic with my dog (and tortoise!) whilst we were on holiday. She adapted her care to the weather getting her out nice and early before it was too hot, and kept us regularly updated. A big thank you to Jessica for how she looked after our three cats and house while we were away. All our cats are on medication, so it is a complicated affair doing their meals. Everything was great on our return and we will be happy to use Jessica next time we go away.
Our dog Toast had a great time with Baz. Excellent communication throughout and a good understanding of our dogs needs and unique personality! The best part was that during the initial visit, Carter took to Danielle right away, which immediately put us at ease and gave us so much confidence in leaving him in her care. Lexi was an absolute star, would 100% request her again :D our dog is a rescue who can be very funny about very specific things, Lexi handled him very well even in the face of adversity. Lexi stayed at ours so our dog could still have him usual comforts and routine, she was a great house guest and our dog has a new best friend :D
