“Laura came round and met Max ahead of the booking to build a relationship with him. You could instantly see she was a dog person which is exactly the type of person we wanted to leave Max with. She gave us regular updates while we were away which put our minds at ease.”

“Alex has been the most incredible cat sitter for us. We put in a request for an emergency sitting and they have been so kind and diligent. We couldn’t have asked for a kinder and more compassionate sitter for our cat at such short notice. Alex sent continuous updates (which were greatly appreciated) and has been amazing overall. Couldn’t ask for anyone better! Will 100% be requesting Alex’s services again in the future, thank you Alex!”

“Niamh, once again, has been amazing! New challenges at our house included Max being an energetic 10 month old learning his limits and boundaries, dealing with our old dog and the puppy in the heat and an ant invasion in the bathroom. We came home to happy dogs, a clean home and no ants! Her communication is brilliant and I loved the video she made of Max showing how much he’s grown since last time she visited. She took good care of my furry family and our home. Thank you!”

“Rosie was excellent. We really appreciated her punctual arrival, and she was lovely with Ellie our Golden Retriever. Would definitely recommend her and like her to come back another time for us. Thank you to Rosie.”

“Absolutely great sitters and can’t fault their services, they accommodated me late notice which was so helpful as was stuck for care while I was in the office working. They were great with both dogs and sent regular updates throughout the day. Will definitely recommend and will be using again in the future! Thank you both!”

I have 11 years experience owning and caring for dogs and have recently decided to prioritise happiness in life which for me, comes from spending time with dogs. I offer pet sitting and dog walking services with up to 3 dogs per household so that every dog receives the attention, care and individual experience they deserve and never feels lost in a large pack. I offer a year-round service with no enhanced holiday rates and no other commitments so I am free to focus on your dog's individual needs. Looking forward to many happy walks ahead! I am fully dedicated to building a life focused around caring for dogs so have no other commitments and can offer a full year-round service. I am happy to offer early and late walks and visits if this is what suits you best. I have the capacity and patience to give all the dogs in my care my full undivided attention/time, and all of the love, kindness and cuddles they deserve - giving you peace of mind that your dog is in safe hands. When pet-sitting or dog walking, I spend time understanding your pet's routines/personality/habits/loves/hates during the first meet and greet appointment to ensure I have a full appreciation of their individual needs. I can then spend quality time with each pet/dog to ensure they feel safe, happy and loved at all times.
“Angela was absolutely wonderful and took such great care of my dog while house sitting. She was kind, reliable, and kept me reassured, which meant so much. It was clear my dog felt comfortable and well looked after, and I truly appreciated the care and attention she gave. I would happily book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring. Thank you ☺️ Xx”

About: Calm, capable, and consistent. I show up on time, send one photo per visit, and trust my gut. I walk at the dog’s pace, not mine. I bag every poop, avoid hot pavement, and never force a scared dog. I choose patience over punishment, and when in doubt, I sit down and wait. I’m not just a walker or sitter — I’m the steady presence their dog trusts while they’re away. I work part-time, which means I have plenty of flexible hours throughout the day to give your pet proper attention — not rushed, not squeezed in. Your pet's safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities — always. I adapt to your pet's routine, not mine. Feeding times, walk schedules, bedtimes — I follow your script so your pet feels minimal disruption. I keep your home secure — doors locked, windows closed, alarms set exactly as you leave them. I'll send you a quick text whenever I arrive and leave. I'm tidy and respectful — I clean up after myself, wipe my feet, wash any bowls I use, and leave your space exactly as I found it (or tidier). No strangers — I never bring guests, friends, or other pets into your home. It's just me and your pet. Emergency-ready — I have your vet's number, your emergency contact, and a clear plan for accidents, escapes, or illness. I also carry a basic pet first aid kit in my bag.

“Alisha and her partner Jack were brilliant with our two boys (a Lab and a GR). They came to do a pre-meet and got introduced, then came for 2 x 2 hour visits including a walk and feeding. The boys loved it and were thoroughly tired out from their walk. Would 100% recommend Alisha.”
About: Growing up with various dog breeds from small to large since before I was born, I have extensive experience of all ages. For my 7th birthday I asked for a kitten and brought her up with love and care until she sadly passed of old age. I have previously volunteered as a foster carer for dogs and have been able to confidently meet all of the needs and wants of those in my care. I am currently a mature student, completing a masters via distant learning. This means I am at home all day and have complete freedom to give all the time and attention that your pet wants. I am happy to look after your pet either in your home or mine. I have a house with a fenced garden and no other pets at home (except for a fish but he’s no bother and in a secure tank). There are lots of beautiful walks locally with open green areas to explore whilst out and about on walkies. I have 2 children, aged 8 and 11 who are extremely confident with pets, however, they will never be left alone with any dogs or cats and are at school during the day.
“Josh has just looked after my girl Rosie for 10 days in my home and I would highly recommend. He kept me updated and sent photos whilst we were away which greatly put my mind at ease He also looked after my home and left it clean and tidy. Would book again without hesitation”

“We came home to a clean and tidy house and two very happy dogs who didn’t want Naomi to leave. She had a sudden problem with her car just before the sit but pulled out every stop to make sure she didn’t let us down. Naomi is really lovely, responsible and kind, she’s a wonderful sitter and I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Leah clicked with Carter right away during a visit to get to know him and us before the booking. We had lots of pictures and updates, which was amazing! Would absolutely recommend Leah for looking after all kinds of pets, big, small and anything in between!”

About: I've grown up in a countryside surrounded by pets and animals of all kind. Since I was a child I adored and took care of our fur friends, treating them like part of a family. Often taking care of friends and family's pets, trying to teach them some tricks and making sure they getting all the attention, quality time and entertainment they need. I've also volunteered in Thailand in rescued animals sanctuary where I cared daily for rescued dogs, cats and wild animals. It included feeding, walking, cleaning, playing, showering and socializing puppies. Some of these animals were disabled or had special needs so I had to have a very individual approach to every single one. I'm available most mornings and evenings, including weekends and bank holidays. I work as self employed so I can organize my schedule to meet owners' needs. While doing walks with dogs or pet sitting at home I always consider their health and needs, also owners advices/tips while choosing if this should be more of an active or peaceful time for older/ill/disabled pets. Every pet is different so I have individual approach to each one I get to know and care for. I trust that the owner will provide all the necessary information when trusting me with their cat/dog, so I can care for them as best as I can considering their health, needs and preferences.
About: I grew up with dogs and have dog sat many times. I have completed puppy training classes and looked after senior dogs too, both happily. I work full time in town but I have evenings and weekends free to help you where I can! I am available 6-9pm daily and would happily spend that with dogs! I own a lovely Victorian home close to the river which is full of character but not precious. I have an enclosed garden and lovely neighbours.
“Jennie was so lovely, it was our first time leaving Daisy with someone else and she made us feel totally at ease and Daisy obviously loved her. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jennie to others!”

Marina stepped in to help us out when a previous sitter had double booked. She was kind and courteous and put us at ease that she would look after Tilly with love and care. Marina kept us updated with photos and text whilst we were away. She looked after our home with respect and left it neat and tidy. We came home to a happy and contented Tilly and knew she had been cared for with love and affection. We would certainly have Marina to sit for us again. If you are looking for a loving and caring person to look after your pet, we would have no hesitation in recommending Marina.

Laura came round and met Max ahead of the booking to build a relationship with him. You could instantly see she was a dog person which is exactly the type of person we wanted to leave Max with. She gave us regular updates while we were away which put our minds at ease.

Alex has watched our dogs a couple of times now and is always brilliant with them - so patient and kind. The dogs are very comfortable and always enjoy their time, meaning we can relax knowing they are in good hands. Alex keeps us in the loop and we always get lots of updates and photos throughout the sit. Would recommend to anyone needing a sitter!

Alisha and her partner Jack were brilliant with our two boys (a Lab and a GR). They came to do a pre-meet and got introduced, then came for 2 x 2 hour visits including a walk and feeding. The boys loved it and were thoroughly tired out from their walk. Would 100% recommend Alisha.
Rosie was great! Belle took to her instantly and was very happy and relaxed with her all day. Rosie is experienced and capable with dogs, and it was very reassuring to know we could leave our elderly and often anxious much-loved Belle with her. We thoroughly recommend her and hope she can sit for us again.

Niamh looked after our dog, Willow, at our house last Friday and Saturday while we were away, and she was fantastic! Willow was so comfortable staying in her own environment and bonded with Niamh instantly. We loved receiving lots of photo and video updates throughout the weekend, which gave us total peace of mind. Niamh is reliable, caring, and highly recommended. We will definitely be booking her again!
Josh has just looked after my girl Rosie for 10 days in my home and I would highly recommend. He kept me updated and sent photos whilst we were away which greatly put my mind at ease He also looked after my home and left it clean and tidy. Would book again without hesitation

Courtnay was fantastic with my dog (and tortoise!) whilst we were on holiday. She adapted her care to the weather getting her out nice and early before it was too hot, and kept us regularly updated. Rhubarb was very happy and content when we got home and seemed to enjoy her stay with Courtnay very much. Courtnay also kept the house clean and tidy to come home to after our holiday. We’ll certainly book again, thank you Courtnay!

Alison looked after our cat very well while we were on holiday. She sent daily updates and photos and it was very comforting to see that he looked totally relaxed and happy. She groomed him daily which was much appreciated as he is long haired and likes to sleep in bushes - he gets a lot of seeds stuck in his hair which can be a nightmare if they are left to tangle. When we got home he was happy and healthy, and didn't seem to be at all stressed- kind of insulting, but ultimately a great thing :D Additionally, our house was spotless and had obviously be treated with care. I would recommend Alison to others and I would happily rebook her in future. Thank you!

A big thank you to Jessica for how she looked after our three cats and house while we were away. All our cats are on medication, so it is a complicated affair doing their meals. Everything was great on our return and we will be happy to use Jessica next time we go away.

Our dog Toast had a great time with Baz. Excellent communication throughout and a good understanding of our dogs needs and unique personality! Would highly recommend, especially if your dog loves nice long walks as Baz has a great knowledge of the local area. 10/10 experience and great peace of mind knowing you can leave your fur baby with someone who will look after them.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received! From the get go, Danielle was friendly, and clearly very passionate about animals. The best part was that during the initial visit, Carter took to Danielle right away, which immediately put us at ease and gave us so much confidence in leaving him in her care. She took the time to ask all of the right questions to understand Carter's routine, personality, and any specific needs he may have, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which really reassured us that Carter was happy and being well cared for. It was obvious that lots of fuss, care, attention, and playtime (with treats too) were given. We both highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter, and we will absolutely be booking again!

Lexi was an absolute star, would 100% request her again :D our dog is a rescue who can be very funny about very specific things, Lexi handled him very well even in the face of adversity. Lexi stayed at ours so our dog could still have him usual comforts and routine, she was a great house guest and our dog has a new best friend :D

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Ananya looked after our dog for 2 nights and 3 days and was absolutely amazing. She’s reliable, caring, and clearly loves what she does. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in such good hands. We had regular updates and made sure she was happy and well looked after the whole time. Would 100% recommend and will be booking again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Worcester walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Worcester choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
