About: I have over 16 years of experience caring for dogs, having had a dog of my own since I was around 10 years old. I regularly care for my family dog and my sister’s giant-breed dog, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I also frequently look after dogs in my local neighbourhood, ranging from Miniature Schnauzers to Labradors. Alongside my experience with dogs, I have two cats of my own who I have cared for for the past year and a half. This has given me experience with both dogs and cats and a good understanding of how to provide patient, attentive and individual care for different pets. I am reliable, caring and attentive, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I’m happy to follow each pet’s usual routine, including feeding, playtime, walks and plenty of attention and affection. I currently work as a supply teacher, which gives me a flexible schedule. I am generally available on weekdays from around 3–4pm onwards, as well as throughout weekends. I also have good availability during school half terms, unless I have a holiday planned. I’m happy to discuss specific dates and times to find a schedule that works best for you and your pet. I provide attentive and reliable care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water, regular toilet breaks, playtime, exercise and plenty of attention. I will also keep their environment clean and comfortable, including cleaning litter trays where needed, and will monitor their behaviour and wellbeing throughout each visit. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions or routines you provide.

About: Me and my husband love dogs very much. We are both vegetarians. Personally we have experience with puppies, senior dogs, special needs dogs, sick dogs and mainly rescued dogs which requires lots of patience. We do have couple of sweet little dogs ourselves and because they are both rescued and one of them is a bit scared of big dogs, which is why we will be only accepting small or medium size dogs in our house. We have big secured garden, but we also do daily long walks and very often we also do hikes. If you would like to leave your dog with us, we can guarantee that your dog is going to have the best time! :) I love animals more than anything since I was a child. Me and my husband have very flexible jobs, working from home. We have couple of small female dogs rescued from Portugal & Romania. They are very sweet and social animals who enjoy playing in their garden and going for long walks. We travel a lot, so my calendar is not available 365 days per year, unfortunately. Me and my husband have very flexible working schedule, and both working from home, so we are available for boarding anytime. Last minute bookings are also available. I have a fenced garden and coupe of friendly recued spayed female dogs. One of our dog is sometimes scared of some dogs, which is why we would only be accepting small and medium size dogs.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and other animals for over 15 years, including helping to raise and train two family Cocker Spaniels from puppies and providing regular overnight and multi-day care. I have particular experience with nervous, anxious and reactive dogs, including dogs with separation anxiety and rescue dogs. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, medication schedules and behavioural guidance, and have experience working with behavioural specialists to understand triggers and techniques for managing anxiety and reactivity. I’ve also cared for energetic young dogs, cats and kittens, and have a Master’s degree in Primate Conservation, which included animal behaviour, husbandry and hands-on animal care. I work full-time from home, with flexible hours, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. I’m an early riser (usually around 5am!), so early walks are no problem, and I have an hour at lunch as well as flexibility for walks, toilet breaks, play and attention throughout the day. I can also work from a pet owner’s home when house sitting – as long as I have Wi-Fi and my laptop, I’m generally good to go! My Oxford office days are very rare and arranged several weeks in advance, so I won’t accept a booking if I know I can’t provide the care your pet needs. I usually enjoy around three walks throughout the day when caring for a dog, adapted of course to their normal routine, age and energy levels. Outside work, I mainly go to the gym for around an hour, so pets are very rarely left for long periods. I’ll always follow an owner’s guidance on how long their pet is comfortable being left alone. My priority is to keep your pet’s routine as familiar as possible. I’ll follow your instructions around feeding, walks, medication, sleeping, crates, behaviour and any individual needs or triggers. I’m particularly conscious of how important routine and reassurance can be for nervous or anxious dogs. I have a private fenced garden and a park just a couple of minutes away, as well as some lovely longer local walks. I’m cautious about letting dogs off lead and will only do so with an owner’s explicit agreement and when I’m completely confident it’s safe. I also have access to secure private dog fields nearby, which I love using for dogs who need a safe space to run and play away from unfamiliar dogs. At home I have a dedicated dog bed, toys and bowls ready for visitors, and I enjoy providing enrichment such as sniffing games, hide-and-seek and homemade snuffle activities. Dogs are welcome to stay close to me while I work, and because I can move my laptop around the house, I can adapt to where they feel most comfortable. I’m very happy to provide cuddles and company for pets who want them, while equally respecting those who prefer their own space. I also only board pets from one household at a time, so I can focus on their individual routine and give them a calm, attentive environment.

About: I’ve previously had my own dogs (lurchers, saluki cross and greyhound cross). I have also volunteered at a local rescue shelter for several years. Additionally I frequently look after neighbours and friends dogs as needed. I currently work on the bank for the NHS, I can pick and choose when I work but still require appropriate notice. This means I can be flexible to a point if notified early. Due to working in the NHS I have an up to date enhanced DBS. I can’t look after pets in my home as I rent, but I have plenty of places I can take dogs in the daytime or visit their own home.
