About: I've been around all creatures great and small for longer than I can remember, and have loved animals than I can remember still. My experience as a pet owner is with smaller mammals - I am the proud parent of two rats - while other pets I have experienced through relatives and family friends. I spent long summer days as a teenager cat-sitting for my grandma - I don't think Tuppence (the cat) ever quite warmed up to me, but she enjoyed using me as a place to sunbathe and very much liked when I would attempt to bribe her affection with treats. I have been around dogs my entire life and, more recently, have enjoyed work as a dog walker for a family friend and their animal-care business. This is where I have gained my professional experience in animal care, having completed a Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Diploma as part of this placement. Overall, I have experience with every variety of pet, including rescues and especially seniors. I'm currently formally unemployed, doing some casual work as a dog walker. Most of my time is spent with my gorgeous pair of rats (Baba Yaga and Kugrash), who are endlessly amusing and endlessly keeping me busy cleaning the out and creating new and incentive ways to engage them. As it stands, I have plenty of free time to spend caring for other people's pets - because every animal deserves the same love and companionship as my Mischief! I would be offering my services to care for your pet in your own home, so I would want to understand your typical routine and dynamic. In my Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma, I learnt best practices for maintaining safety and trust for all involved, including rudimentary pet first aid (which I intend to learn more about).

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all around and absolutely love them, the past year I have worked for a dog walking company. But would like more freedom and have decided to go out on my own. I’m currently doing a canine behaviours course, to give me a better understanding of why a dog could be reactive in a certain way and different ways to help them if I’m the right fit for the dog. I’m currently in the process of making my own dog walking company, I absolutely love going out on walks and being outside. And when you can combine that with a love of dogs, it makes the perfect job. I’m doing little jobs here and there so I can spend most of my time building something for myself, while doing my behaviour course. While doing a sit depending on what you would be wanting in the day, I will be with your pet from 6:30 till 8am the next morning. This way your pup will have plenty of company and can keep their evening routine. Depending on what your pups need I can also hire a secure field, so they can still get a good run around.

About: I’m a qualified veterinary nurse who wants to ensure your fur babies are comfortable, fed and loved and cuddled whilst their parents are away! As a full-time veterinary nurse, I work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am–7pm, with one in seven weekends. This means I’m available for evening visits on weekdays, and I have regular availability for weekends, Tuesdays and most weekends for longer stays. I’ll always keep my calendar up to date so you know exactly when I’m available. Your pet’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first. As a qualified veterinary nurse, I’m experienced in recognising signs that a pet may be unwell and I’m confident caring for pets with different personalities, ages and medical needs. I always respect each pet’s boundaries, never force interaction, and take time to build their trust. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed, secure and loved while you’re away.

“Amazing service from Gabby. She looked after my cat and dog with care and attention they needed. My dog is super nervous around new people and I was a little anxious to leave Aira with someone she didn’t know. I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Gabby that she was actually a brave girl, came up to her, took the treats, had a bit of fuss, zoomies, ate her meals (which she doesn’t do if she’s stressed) and overall felt quite comfortable around Gabby. So it seems that Gabby really knows how to deal with sensitive dogs like Aira which was very reassuring. My cat seemed pretty unbothered but he was left a few times before, he just lives in his little world where he is the king and others come to serve him… Communication was good and efficient, I would definitely recommend her and use her services again!”

About: My husband and I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and needs. We previously adopted and cared for an elderly rescue dog, and we currently have our own 18-month-old dog, so day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention are all a big part of our lives. Alongside our own dogs, we have also looked after dogs belonging to family and friends, so we are comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, temperaments and routines. We understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their dog will be safe, well cared for and treated like part of the family. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we already have our own 18-month-old dog, so walks, feeding, playtime and general care are already part of everyday life. We both work from home, so between us there is always someone here to provide supervision, companionship and regular care throughout the day. My husband and I both enjoy being around dogs and are used to planning our day around their needs, whether that’s regular toilet breaks, exercise, companionship or sticking to a dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled and comfortable. We provide a safe, calm and caring environment and always try to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible. At home, we have a secure rear garden for supervised toilet breaks and outdoor time, and pets would have plenty of attention, company and a comfortable space to settle. We are mindful of feeding routines, exercise needs and any instructions provided by the owner, including medication, lead walking preferences or anything else important to their dog’s care. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, we would always respect their routine and home environment, making sure their dog feels comfortable and secure in familiar surroundings. We understand how important trust is, so we would keep owners updated and treat every pet with the same care and attention we give our own.

About: I have always loved animals and been around them since I was a little girl. We have all sorts from gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. When I was 13 I worked on a farm with the ponies and horses and loved being around the animals on the farm. I also did my work experience at school in a Kennels and Cattery and loved it. When I left school I began working in an office and then family life happened, and never continued to my dream job of working with animals. So here I am pursuing a passion of mine of working with animals, after taking over from a cleaner we had whilst I had surgery, I began cat sitting for a couple who needed there cats cared for while I was looking for work. Turned out I used to work with Sam and for last few years I have gone and cared for there two cats Tia and Mitz. I don't currently have any cats but was brought up around them. We have two small dogs and we love them very much. I have completed a Canine First Aid course with Solihull college too so can help out if there are any accidents. About: I have experience of walking and boarding different small dogs and I have a real love for dogs so I will make sure they are happy and cared for when they are with me. I am a primary school teacher who works part-time in the week, so I have availability to look after dogs from Friday evening and all weekend in school time, however I am available all week and weekends during most school holidays. I have walked and boarded a few dogs and I absolutely love being around dogs and playing with them! I will keep to the routines and schedules that the owner has for their dog and try to mimic this when they are with me. I have a small garden that is fenced and secure where they can run around and have lots of places to walk with dogs near to me that have big open spaces to run around and play.

About: I currently have an Italian Greyhound and previously we had a family dog from a rescue. My sister has 3 dogs and when they go away I look after them (a Bedlington whippet cross and 2 black labs) I currently freelance for a delivery company so my schedule is fully flexible, any time of day I can come over and chill with your pet, take them for walks, let them out for a wee etc. Whatever you want I have a fenced garden with a little Italian Greyhound, my sister has a larger outdoor space and when I sit for them I take them on walks, I let the 2 well trained labs off lead (plus my iggy) but not her Bedlington Whippet as she tends to get "distracted"

About: Hi, I’m Claire I’m a photographer by trade, but outside of work I’m completely dog obsessed. Friends and family are forever joking that I care more about the dogs than the humans, and honestly… they might be right. I offer dog walking and pet sitting, and I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s little personality. I’m confident with puppies, older dogs, nervous dogs, and dogs with routines that need sticking to properly. If they need medication, specific feeding times, slower walks, training consistency, or just a bit of patience, that’s absolutely fine. I know how hard it is leaving your dog with somebody else, so I’ll always keep you updated properly with messages and photos so you know they’re happy and settled. I’m reliable, calm, and very used to handling animals with different temperaments. Your dog will be treated like one of my own while they’re with me. I work from home as a pet and portrait photographer my studio is in my garden, if I have a shoot it's for 1 hour or a maximum of 3 hours editing a day on my pc so lots of time for attention and walks. I take my dog Cooper for very long and varied walks daily. I have a very secure garden that has a 7ft high perimeter fence, my dog can jump very high and he can't get out. I am very tidy and if caring for pets in your home take security very seriously, I will leave your home as you left it and happily clean any mess left by your pet

About: I have a 6 year old dog and have regularly cared for family and friends dogs for both short and long periods of time when the family has been on holiday or at work I work full time however work from home on Wednesdays so I can provide care on Wednesdays if you are happy for me to work from your home. I am often available on weekends and evenings I do not care for dogs in my own home as I still live with my parents and there is often multiple people coming and going from the property. I also have my own dog at home
