About: I have had dogs all my life, most recently my last two dogs needed medication including insulin injections. Very experienced looking after dogs that need daily medication. My dog was an old boy when we had to say goodbye to him, so I understand the needs of senior dogs. I am retired and my wife works from home in pet insurance. Our days are spent around the home going out for shopping, but there is always someone home. I did do Rover for a while before, but stopped due to health. So I did have feedback but unfortunately not now. We have a lovely large fenced garden with a bit aviary with 40 budgies. Dogs do love to lie and watch them. We have a park close by for walks, however, your pet will never be off the lead at the park even if recall is good. Your pet will be treated like a member of our family and will not be forced to sleep on the floor unless this is what you want. They will be allowed on furniture and upstairs.
“Chloe is fab!! So so lovely, so friendly and Bruce instantly loved her. Great communication throughout Bruce’s stay. It was clear Bruce was so well looked after. Would highly recommend and Bruce will definitely be back with Chloe (if she’ll have him!) - thank you so much.”

“María was very accommodating and friendly. She kept us updated with information and photos which made us feel reassured. Nova clearly had a great time playing with Willow. Overall an ideal boarding service for us and Nova. Very happy to have found María and Willow.”

“Ashleigh saved us after another sitter let us down at fairly short notice. She was helpful, polite and we knew our dog would be happy with her. Wouldn’t hesitate to book with Ashleigh again.”

“When you trust someone to look after your baby you’re always worried, no such worries with Jang! She sent pictures every day and she’s been fantastic with Elsie, I can’t praise Jang enough she was brilliant . I’ll definitely be using her again . Five stars all the way *****. Thank you Jang.”

“What a lovely lady. Loads of updates sent over the 24 hours (first time my dogs were with her so I was quite nervous). Both dogs seemed to have been happy whilst with her. I’ll be happy to use her again for my two.”

About: Welcome! If you’re looking for a calm, caring, home-from-home experience for your dog, I’d love to help. As a retiree and lifelong dog lover with over 10 years’ experience caring for Miniature Dachshunds, I understand that every dog is unique. That’s why I only welcome one guest dog at a time, allowing me to give them my full attention, plenty of affection, and a relaxed, stress-free stay. My home is a detached house with a secure private garden backing onto beautiful woodland, set in the peaceful surroundings of a golf course with wonderful nature walks right on the doorstep. With just two adults in the house, it’s a quiet environment that’s particularly well suited to older dogs, anxious or nervous dogs, or those who simply prefer a slower pace of life. Whether your dog enjoys gentle walks, playing in the garden, or snoozing on a comfy bed after a cuddle, they’ll be cared for as if they were my own. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and my goal is to make every stay as safe, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible—for both you and your dog. I look forward to welcoming your four-legged family member into our home. As I’m retired, your dog will be part of my daily routine and enjoy plenty of company throughout the day. Apart from a short trip to the gym, I’m home most of the time, so there’ll be lots of attention, cuddles, playtime, gentle walks, and time to relax in a calm, peaceful environment. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live in a quiet, detached home on a peaceful lane, with a fully enclosed, secure garden backing onto beautiful woodland. Surrounded by fields, nature walks, and a golf course, it’s the perfect setting for gentle adventures and relaxed days. With just my husband and me at home, it’s a calm, low-stress environment that’s especially well suited to older, nervous, or anxious dogs, giving them a safe and loving place to feel completely at home

“Michelle was wonderful couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after Haribo, he’s not the easiest to adjust and he’s a very anxious little dog ! He was absolutely having so much fun she sent updates , photos and videos. When I picked him up, yes he was pleased to see me but he also went and let Michelle love him too which was a real revolution for Haribo , thank you so much ! He arrived home and didn’t even feel like he’d been away usually he would fall out with me this time it didn’t happen so I would definitely recommend Michelle for sure ! ?”

About: I’ve always been great with animals, I have a Staffy at home and he is a handful, as well as having a family pet cockapoo who lives with my mum and family. I am currently on a career break so I will have an open schedule to help, whether it’s walking your dog or being flexible to help. I have an enclosed garden with is fully fenced and I keep all pets I am watching with me at all times. I prefer to take dogs out on walks in areas with no busy roads such as arrow valley lake.
“Laura was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She was warm, welcoming, and instantly made us feel comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. Throughout their stay, she looked after them beautifully and clearly treated them with kindness and genuine affection. Laura regularly sent us photos and updates, which really put our minds at ease and reassured us that our dogs were happy and settled. It meant so much to us knowing they were in such caring hands. She is a truly lovely and loving person, and we didn’t worry about our dogs at all while we were away. We would definitely book with Laura again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog boarder, thank you Laura”

“Audrey and her husband were amazing, Dino took to them straight away, and he can act strange with new people. Audrey kept me updated throughout his stay, I would 100% recommend to anyone. We will be using again 😊”

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and affection as if they were my own. Whether it’s feeding, walks, play time or simply keeping them company, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ve gained experience caring for dogs by looking after the pets of family and friends while they’ve been away or busy, so I understand the importance of making sure pets feel well cared for, loved and at ease. I have lots of free time to give your pets the care and attention they deserve. Being home most days means I can be flexible and adapt my schedule to suit their routine and individual needs, ensuring they’re cared for with patience, affection, and plenty of companionship. I’ll always treat your pets as if they were my own and make their wellbeing my top priority. I’m available for boarding throughout the week and most weekends, allowing me to offer flexible care that suits both you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I have a secure, enclosed garden where dogs can play safely under supervision, as well as my own small, friendly dog who loves the company of other dogs and enjoys making new friends. I’ll always ensure they have fresh water, regular exercise, and plenty of attention throughout the day, and will carefully follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific care instructions, to help them feel comfortable and settled. My aim is to provide a safe, loving, and welcoming home where your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship while you’re away.

About: My husband and I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and needs. We previously adopted and cared for an elderly rescue dog, and we currently have our own 18-month-old dog, so day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention are all a big part of our lives. Alongside our own dogs, we have also looked after dogs belonging to family and friends, so we are comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, temperaments and routines. We understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their dog will be safe, well cared for and treated like part of the family. Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we already have our own 18-month-old dog, so walks, feeding, playtime and general care are already part of everyday life. We both work from home, so between us there is always someone here to provide supervision, companionship and regular care throughout the day. My husband and I both enjoy being around dogs and are used to planning our day around their needs, whether that’s regular toilet breaks, exercise, companionship or sticking to a dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled and comfortable. We provide a safe, calm and caring environment and always try to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible. At home, we have a secure rear garden for supervised toilet breaks and outdoor time, and pets would have plenty of attention, company and a comfortable space to settle. We are mindful of feeding routines, exercise needs and any instructions provided by the owner, including medication, lead walking preferences or anything else important to their dog’s care. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, we would always respect their routine and home environment, making sure their dog feels comfortable and secure in familiar surroundings. We understand how important trust is, so we would keep owners updated and treat every pet with the same care and attention we give our own.

“Mariviena & Vas took great overnight care of our Daschund Hugo who absolutely loved his play time with Winnie! We were kept regularly updated via WhatsApp with photos & videos and had a very tired out puppy returned to us! Thank you so much guys!”

“Rachel and her family were fantastic with our dogs. It was their first time away and I will definitely be booking Rachel again. Lots of updates, photos of lovely walks and cuddling with the family. Rachel was very welcoming and I felt reassured I was leaving dogs in safe hands👍”

“Amazing couple who went beyond looking after my cat After a few problems with my key they sorted it out to make sure everything went smoothly while I was away Not only giving my cat 100% care & fuss they sorted out the door problem with whoever they had to meet Highly recommend this couple Betsie my cat is very shy but she came out and responded to Sarah & John Lovely gentle caring couple 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“This was the second time I've left my two cats in Becky's care over an extended period and I genuinely couldn't recommend her more. It's clear from the notes for each visit not only that Becky knows animals really well, but also that my super shy cats blossomed around her which is so reassuring to see when you're away!”

“I can’t recommend Rebecca highly enough. Our cat, Buddy, likes to be outdoors and I think would be very stressed in a cattery. We were let down a week before we went on holiday and we found Rebecca who agreed to come in twice a day to feed Buddy and to let him in and out. Rebecca’s communication with us has been outstanding and, along with lots of photos from each visit, I have been reassured that our baby is happy and has been very well cared for. During the heat Rebecca asked if I minded if she popped in to make sure he was ok. They have developed quite a little routine and friendship that I hope will continue when we go on future holidays. We will be booking Rebecca again without a doubt.”

About: As a qualified veterinary nurse, I have experience caring for cats of all ages. I’m confident administering oral and injectable medications, recognising signs of illness, and providing calm, stress-free care for nervous or anxious cats. I understand that every cat has their own personality, so I always let them set the pace, respecting their space.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs throughout my childhood, I’ve looked after friends and family’s cats and dogs when they go on holiday or are out working, checking their litter box, going out on walks, checking water, food and playing with them.

About: My experience with cats is limited to the personal, having cared and sat for my Grandma's cat (Tuppence, RIP) many times as a teenager. I was there for every part of her life with us - from picking her up from the shelter, to helping her feel relaxed in her new home, to her troubles as a senior cat and saying goodbye. I understand what it takes to love a cat and so I know how important it is to provide the best possible care for them.

“We went away for the bank holiday weekend so 3 nights, never used a cat sitter before so of course was a little nervous. Kerry came to meet me and my 4 babies before we went so felt at ease having met her. She is clearly experienced and understands your needs and concerns as a pet owner so was very reassuring before and during our trip! ”

“I had my first meet and greet with Louise. Very friendly and put my mind at ease, as I was anxious about the thought of someone looking after ernie that I don't know. I will definately be booking her services”

About: I have always loved animals and been around them since I was a little girl. We have all sorts from gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. When I was 13 I worked on a farm with the ponies and horses and loved being around the animals on the farm. I also did my work experience at school in a Kennels and Cattery and loved it. When I left school I began working in an office and then family life happened, and never continued to my dream job of working with animals. So here I am pursuing a passion of mine of working with animals, after taking over from a cleaner we had whilst I had surgery, I began cat sitting for a couple who needed there cats cared for while I was looking for work. Turned out I used to work with Sam and for last few years I have gone and cared for there two cats Tia and Mitz. I don't currently have any cats but was brought up around them. We have two small dogs and we love them very much. I have completed a Canine First Aid course with Solihull college too so can help out if there are any accidents. Reference available on request from my clients I cat sit for.

About: Hi, I'm Alex, an 18-year-old animal lover based in Redditch with a genuine passion for caring for pets of all kinds. I've spent the last four years studying Animal Care—two years in high school and two years in college. I recently achieved my Level 1 Animal Care Certificate with a Distinction and will be continuing my studies with the Level 1 Animal Care Diploma in September. I'm always eager to expand my knowledge and provide the best possible care for every animal I meet. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have my own dog, Millie, who is my best friend and whom I trained myself. I also regularly help care for my auntie's German Shepherd/Mastiff cross, giving me experience with larger breeds. In addition, I own a leopard gecko, Arlo, other members of my family also have cats that I care for every so often, so I'm comfortable caring for reptiles as well as dogs and other pets. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone reliable to keep them company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I'm currently offering pet sitting services throughout the Redditch area. My goal is to build hands-on experience as I work towards my dream career of becoming a dog trainer and helping to rehabilitate and rehome dogs. You can trust that I'll care for your pets with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pets!

About: I’ve always loved spending time with animals and have cared for cats and dogs for family and friends over the years. More recently, I’ve been house sitting and realised how much I enjoy looking after pets and keeping them happy while their owners are away. I’m a patient and caring sitter who takes the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’ll always make sure everything is clear by asking questions, and I love sending daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Whether it’s house sitting, walks or drop-in visits, I’ll treat your pets with the same love and attention I’d want for my own. Pet care fits smoothly into my daily routine. I set aside dedicated time for walks, play, feeding and attention, so I can give pets consistent care and companionship. During house sitting or drop-in visits, I make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely and can easily adjust to special needs or schedules. I also make it a habit to send updates and photos to owners daily, keeping them connected while they’re away. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I treat their space and routines with the utmost respect. I follow any instructions carefully, making sure pets are fed, walked, and given plenty of attention and playtime according to their usual schedule. I’m patient and observant, so I notice any changes in behaviour or needs, and I make sure to communicate with owners through daily updates and photos. My goal is to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. My partner, Harry, joins me during house sits, we're more than happy to do a video call or meet up before hand so you can feel safe and comfortable with us both!
About: Hi, I’m Claire I’m a photographer by trade, but outside of work I’m completely dog obsessed. Friends and family are forever joking that I care more about the dogs than the humans, and honestly… they might be right. I offer dog walking and pet sitting, and I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s little personality. I’m confident with puppies, older dogs, nervous dogs, and dogs with routines that need sticking to properly. If they need medication, specific feeding times, slower walks, training consistency, or just a bit of patience, that’s absolutely fine. I know how hard it is leaving your dog with somebody else, so I’ll always keep you updated properly with messages and photos so you know they’re happy and settled. I’m reliable, calm, and very used to handling animals with different temperaments. Your dog will be treated like one of my own while they’re with me. I work from home as a pet and portrait photographer my studio is in my garden, if I have a shoot it's for 1 hour or a maximum of 3 hours editing a day on my pc so lots of time for attention and walks. I take my dog Cooper for very long and varied walks daily. I have a very secure garden that has a 7ft high perimeter fence, my dog can jump very high and he can't get out. I am very tidy and if caring for pets in your home take security very seriously, I will leave your home as you left it and happily clean any mess left by your pet
About: I am very loyal, trustworthy and reliable. I absolutely love dogs and dogs love me! I am experienced in looking after a variety of dogs and will offer you the upmost love, care and attention that your dog needs. I am very adaptable and very good at taking direction, so I will listen to your instructions and your dogs needs and follow them as necessary, just because I am really loving with some dogs, if you don’t want this with your dog, I know everyone is different I totally understand that and will do what’s right for you and your dog so please be re-assured you are in the right place. We can have a trial first if this helps to put your mind at rest. I want you to be able to be at work or on a night out, or even a long holiday and not be worrying in the slightest that your dog isn’t being taken care of properly, I know that feeling when our family dog was put into kennels for 3 weeks for a wedding and from that time I knew this is what I needed to do as some dogs just hate kennels if they have been bought up in a way and that’s when I decided to start taking care of people’s dogs that feel like they can’t go on holiday or go out as there’s no one like them to have them, non sense! I am your lady :-) xxx

“We are so pleased that we found Kevin. He has been a godsend! Kevin has a lovely home and garden which is very secure for roaming dogs. We always have a friendly welcome from Kevin and our puppy jumps out of our arms to greet him. Kevin is very professional but also down to earth and friendly and takes care of our puppy just as we’d like. He is very flexible and nothing is too much trouble and he obviously knows his stuff about dogs! A real gem to have found and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!”

“Ashleigh came through for us when our original plans fell through last minute. One very happy dog and a huge thank you to Ashleigh for her patience and understanding both of our circumstances and our unusually energetic senior dog.”

Now retired, I want to continue sharing my life with dogs and cats, combining my love for animals with a commitment to their happiness and wellbeing. I believe every dog and cat is a cherished member of the family and deserves attentive, compassionate care. This business is my way of enriching their lives while enjoying the joy they bring. I provide safe, loving care for dogs and cats, including walks and sitting. My large, fully fenced garden ensures pets can play freely and safely. About: I’ve taken care of a range of dogs over the last few years, from a super cute and cuddly cockapoo to a slightly stubborn but adorable staffy. I have the most experience with my own family dog who is almost 6 years old, which I take a lot of responsibility for. I am available for dog walks, pop-ins to check up on your dog, as well as house-sitting for your dog. I know how your dog is another member of the family, and I will be sure to take care of them like they are my own! I am currently a university student working part time, with the break for summer I have a lot more free time and availability on my hands. I am available for dog walks & check-ins most day, and boarding throughout the week! I currently don’t care for pets at my own home for safety reasons as my garden is not fully fenced in & my family dog (even though he likes other dogs) wouldn’t be happy with another pet in his house

“Sarah and John were brilliant and they are punctual, professional and so nice. They looked after my little fur baby and gave him a lovely walk. I would recommend them and will definitely be using them again next time I need my midday walk covered. Thank you both.”

About: ***TRAINING AS A DOG BEHAVIOURIST*** ***FULLY INSURED*** ***ENHANCED DBS CHECK*** ***CANINE FIRST AID TRAINED*** I have always loved animals and as we couldn’t have a dog of our own when I was younger, I did dog walking and sitting for friends and neighbours. We got a puppy 18 months ago, and he has changed my life in so many ways. When we first got him he lacked confidence and could be shy with strangers, but through all the research I’ve done to try and help him live his best life, I've realised just how passionate I am about dogs and how much joy I get from being around them. 🐶🐾 I can offer walkies, drop-in visits and dog sitting in your home. I’m happy to stay overnight with your pup, however due to having a young daughter I can only do this for one night at a time. I'm also currently studying for a Level 6 Diploma in Clinical Canine Behaviour through the Canine Behaviour College. This course is the first of its kind as it's Ofqual-regulated and was developed by well-known veterinary behaviourist, Tom Mitchell. This means I have a good understanding of dog behaviour and body language and am learning new force free training games and solutions for problem behaviours. Happy to talk about how I can incorporate training into walks or dog sitting if this is of interest. Please get in touch with any requests or questions, and I'll do my best to help! I work 4 days per week, but 3 of these are from home and I have a lot of flexibility with my workload. Happy to discuss how I can be flexible and move my schedule around to meet your needs. I know from personal experience how nerve-wracking it can be to leave a member of your family with someone unknown. I’m committed to making sure your pets feel happy and relaxed with me and I’ll follow any instructions about their care that you would like to provide. Please give me as much information as possible about them - they're all individuals and I want to put your mind at ease that they’re being looked after as if they’re my own.

About: Hello! I’m a lifelong animal lover and the proud owner of a friendly Maltese. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets when you’re away. Whether your pet needs feeding, companionship, playtime, medication support, or regular walks, I provide attentive and reliable care as if they were my own. I’m currently working part-time at home, so I will have enough time to play and walk with your dogs. The garden in my house will also offer good opportunity for short toilet breaks. I will also be available during weekends. I have a fenced garden and a small Maltese dog at home. Crate can be provided if required. I live in an area that can offer safe and green environment for dog’s walk.
“Katie is amazing. I have total confidence in her ability to manage & look after my two energetic Spaniels who are very young (Beni 2yrs & Daisy 1 yr) they can be a handful & she manages them beautifully. Thank you Katie”

About: I’m a qualified veterinary nurse who wants to ensure your fur babies are comfortable, fed and loved and cuddled whilst their parents are away! As a full-time veterinary nurse, I work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am–7pm, with one in seven weekends. This means I’m available for evening visits on weekdays, and I have regular availability for weekends, Tuesdays and most weekends for longer stays. I’ll always keep my calendar up to date so you know exactly when I’m available. Your pet’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first. As a qualified veterinary nurse, I’m experienced in recognising signs that a pet may be unwell and I’m confident caring for pets with different personalities, ages and medical needs. I always respect each pet’s boundaries, never force interaction, and take time to build their trust. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed, secure and loved while you’re away.

About: I've been around all creatures great and small for longer than I can remember, and have loved animals than I can remember still. My experience as a pet owner is with smaller mammals - I am the proud parent of two rats - while other pets I have experienced through relatives and family friends. I spent long summer days as a teenager cat-sitting for my grandma - I don't think Tuppence (the cat) ever quite warmed up to me, but she enjoyed using me as a place to sunbathe and very much liked when I would attempt to bribe her affection with treats. I have been around dogs my entire life and, more recently, have enjoyed work as a dog walker for a family friend and their animal-care business. This is where I have gained my professional experience in animal care, having completed a Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Diploma as part of this placement. Overall, I have experience with every variety of pet, including rescues and especially seniors. I'm currently formally unemployed, doing some casual work as a dog walker. Most of my time is spent with my gorgeous pair of rats (Baba Yaga and Kugrash), who are endlessly amusing and endlessly keeping me busy cleaning the out and creating new and incentive ways to engage them. As it stands, I have plenty of free time to spend caring for other people's pets - because every animal deserves the same love and companionship as my Mischief! I would be offering my services to care for your pet in your own home, so I would want to understand your typical routine and dynamic. In my Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma, I learnt best practices for maintaining safety and trust for all involved, including rudimentary pet first aid (which I intend to learn more about).
About: *I’m new to Rover, and offering an introductory rate* Hi, I’m Jen — a friendly, reliable dog walker based in Cofton Hackett, often out and about around Cofton Park, Barnt Green, and the Lickey Hills with some of my favourite four-legged pals. I’ve been walking dogs for over 6 years and doing a few pet visits over the last 2 years. I especially enjoy looking after small to medium dogs who like calm, relaxed walks full of sniffs and gentle exploring. I always take time to build a bond with each dog so they feel safe and happy with me. Whether it’s a quiet stroll or a little adventure, your pup will get patient care, plenty of attention, and lots of love. My goal is simple: to make sure your dog feels comfortable, content, and excited to see me again! I work from home most of the time, so can fit walks in in the morning, lunch time and after work. I also have some availability at weekends. When doing drop ins, I let the dog out for a toilet break, fill up water and food and fuss and chat to your dog.

About: I’ve grown up with family dogs my whole life, and they’ve always been such a huge part of my life. Being around dogs genuinely makes me happy, and there’s nothing I love more than spending time with furry bundles of joy! 🐾 I have experience caring for and walking a variety of breeds, from tiny lap dogs to large, energetic dogs. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality, routine, and needs, so I always take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Whether your dog enjoys long adventurous walks, slower sniff-filled strolls, plenty of playtime, or simply lots of fuss and cuddles, I’ll make sure they’re cared for as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I promise to treat every dog with the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing a happy wagging tail, and I can’t wait to meet your four-legged best friend! 🩷🐶 I currently work Mon - Thurs/Fri 8-4/5 as a nurse👩🏼⚕️. Therefore, I will mostly be available for mornings, evenings & weekends, as well as any annual leave I have. My diary is open for most days, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to work around the time you need 😊. Please note- I am currently not taking any bookings past 4th september as we are getting a puppy🐾 I live in a house with a moderate sized secure garden🌳 . About: I have a 6 year old dog and have regularly cared for family and friends dogs for both short and long periods of time when the family has been on holiday or at work I work full time however work from home on Wednesdays so I can provide care on Wednesdays if you are happy for me to work from your home. I am often available on weekends and evenings I do not care for dogs in my own home as I still live with my parents and there is often multiple people coming and going from the property. I also have my own dog at home
“Gabby is wonderful. Our dog immediately loved her and her visit was the highlight of his day when my partner and I unfortunately had to both be out working. Gabby always provided comprehensive information about the walk and it's obvious that she is a real animal lover. I can't recommend Gabby highly enough.”
