10/10, Great dog sitter. Eliana is accomodating and kind. She stuck to our complex routine and was thorough in her research and requests prior to staying with our dog. Our girl lived having her so much, she wasn't bothered about us when we got back! We even came back to a tidier house than we left 🥰 Highly, highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Cherelle highly enough. She looked after my dogs Coco and Bella while I was away on holiday and provided exceptional care from start to finish. Throughout my time away, she regularly sent updates, photos and videos, which gave me great peace of mind and allowed me to relax knowing my dogs were happy, safe and well cared for. It was clear from every update that they were receiving plenty of attention and affection. She is also a genuinely pleasant, friendly and professional person to deal with. One of my dogs can be quite cheeky at times, but this never seemed to faze her. She handled everything with patience, kindness and a good sense of humour. I returned home to two happy, content dogs, and I wouldn't hesitate to use her services again in the future. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of them.

About: My neighbours rely on me to walk and take care of their dogs, I hope you can rely on me too. I've also taken care of fish, guinea pigs, rabbits and cats so I'm pretty versatile with the care I can give your pets. I have also trained 2 dogs to be potty trained and do some tricks. I'm a uni student studying medicine at Uni of Leicester with a flexible schedule and a big love for dogs. I’m usually free in the early mornings and evenings, which makes walks and playtime easy to fit in. I’m also available on Fridays and weekends for dog boarding. Your pup will get plenty of attention, care, and cuddles while you’re away! I haven't got other pets in my home so it's easy to give all my attention to your pup. There is a park just 5 minutes away from where I live so your dog can have a good time with fresh air. I've been dog walking for 3 years now so I hope you trust me with your dog and I promise to make sure they feel safe, loved and well-exercised.

About: I have looked after dogs since I was 9 years old, ranging from little pups to older dogs, and absolutely love them all! I have a lot of experience in caring for puppies and know how to crate train, keep ‘place’ as well as basic commands if needed, but can care for your loving pet exactly how you would want me to :) I am currently dog sitting both at other people’s houses and my own. My own house has a large fenced garden next to a big park, perfect for walkies! I have a fenced, safe garden that is well maintained and do not own my own pets at current. I maintain a clean and organised home with space for crates, toys, and everything your dog requires! I live with my parents who also have experience in caring for other people’s dogs and previously owned our own.

About: I am 47 years young and have owned dogs since i was 29.. My 1st dog was a rescue staffy x bull mastif and i rescued him when he was just 10 months old. He went over rainbow bridge when he was 15...... 3 years ago my husband and i got a golden retriever called Bailey. He is an amazing dog and loves the company of other dogs and people. Any dog i sit/board/walk must be good with other dogs and happy to share our home with him. I have previously looked after 2 of my friends dogs while they were away on holiday and i regularly look after my friends puppy while she is at work.. i have added pics of these i my profile. My husband, Adrian is on hand to help me during the evenings and weekends with walks and care etc when he is not at work. I have verified all his details on Rover so you will confident your babies will not be left alone and there will always be someone on hand, i will be the primary caregiver and walker/sitter etc but its good to know that he is there to help out. He is also pictured in my profile. I only work part time on the evenings and weekends but then my husband is at home during those times so we never leave our dog alone. I am free a lot of the time and have lots of time to spare to look after your dogs. I can pick and choose my shifts at work and can easily swap shifts and be pretty flexible around your needs I have a large fenced garden. I have a Golden Retriever who loves other friendly dogs. I am available most of the time apart from a few holidays per year. Happy to walk, sit or board your fur babies and give them plenty of love and exercise. I walk my boy a minimum of 2.5 hours every day rain or shine so rest assured your pups would be well exercised and happy. I am happy to look after older dogs too who may want to just cuddle on the sofa or just have some quiet time. We have no other pets or children in the home so it is a nice calm environment for your dogs. I have added photos on my profile of previous dogs i have looked after at my home while their moms and dads are away on holiday

Nic had our boy Dillon during an absolutely awful heatwave, but she took such incredible care of him keeping him cool and showered with love! Her updates were always a treat, whether little videos of him enjoying his toys, or some very cute pictures. Such a lovely and interesting person and I know Dill just absolutely adored her! Couldn't recommend more highly 😊

About: I don’t just look after dogs — I help them feel calm, confident, and cared for. With experience in both puppy training and gentle senior dog care, I tailor every visit to meet your pet’s individual needs. Whether it’s reinforcing good manners, building trust with a nervous pup, or providing comfort and patience for an older companion, my focus is always on creating a safe and peaceful environment. Dogs pick up on our energy, and I pride myself on offering steady, reassuring care that helps every dog feel right at home. Hi, I’m Darcy! I’ve been caring for animals for years, starting with my own dog, Buddy, who’s been by my side for over a decade. Through him, I’ve learned the importance of patience, understanding, and consistency — qualities I bring to every pet I look after. Along with dogs, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, each with their own personalities and needs. As a part-time sitter, I’m able to give your pets the focused, one-on-one attention they deserve, whether it’s a comforting walk, playtime, or simply keeping them calm and content while you’re away. I have no set schedule for work so can work with you to find the best time to dog sit your fur babies. At our home, your pet will feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. We have a large, fully fenced garden where dogs can stretch their legs, play, and explore freely under supervision. For pets who prefer their own space, there’s plenty of room for crates or quiet corners where they can unwind comfortably. We’re lucky to have beautiful forests and brooks nearby, perfect for peaceful walks and a bit of outdoor adventure. Whether your pet is staying with us or I’m caring for them in your home, I always keep their routine, comfort, and happiness at the heart of everything I do. With a calm environment and a caring family feel, I make sure every animal feels safe, loved, and right at home.

About: Growing up with dogs has instilled in me a profound love and respect for these loyal companions. My childhood taught me invaluable lessons in compassion, responsibility, and understanding the needs of dogs. I am committed to treating your pet with the same care and affection that I provided to my own cherished dogs in the past. Rest assured, your furry friend will receive dedicated attention and a nurturing environment while in my care. Balancing pet care within my part-time work schedule and weekends off as a dog sitter involves meticulous planning and dedication. During weekdays, I focus on afternoon visits, ensuring dogs receive essential care such as feeding, exercise, and companionship. This schedule allows me to cater to their daily needs while accommodating my work commitments. On weekends, with more time available, I dedicate myself fully to dog sitting. I extend walks, engage in longer play sessions, and provide additional attention to ensure each dog's well-being and happiness. This comprehensive approach not only meets their physical requirements but also nurtures a strong bond through consistent interaction and care. Overall, my routine revolves around providing reliable and loving support during afternoons on weekdays and full attention on weekends, creating a fulfilling experience for both the dogs and their owners. In my home, where I have a fenced garden, I ensure pets receive exceptional care in a safe and stimulating environment. Dogs under my watch enjoy regular access to the outdoors, where they can play, exercise, and explore freely within the confines of the secure fencing. This setup allows them to engage in natural behaviors while ensuring their safety.

About: I’ve cared and looked after dogs since i was 10 but the past 3-4 years i’ve had more experience with dogs on my own. I’m enthusiastic about working with animals and would ensure your pets get treated with top quality care. I’m currently unemployed so can be flexible to pet sit or dog walk whenever is needed. I walk my own dog twice a day so am already in the routine of caring for pets every day. I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room to run around and could get a crate if needed for your animals. I have dog treats too ready for your pets.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Amy look after Jupiter today. Jupiter has some abandonment issues due to having to move home twice in his short life, but Amy arranged a meet and greet before looking after him so that they could get to know each other, but also understand more about his needs. Amy was proactive in looking after Jupiter, playing with him during his energetic phases, as well as letting him sleep when he got tired. Amy took Jupiter to the park on the opposite side of the road when Jupiter started showing signs of needing a toilet break, and looked after him well throughout. Amy communicated with me through her stay with Jupiter and I returned home to one very happy puppy. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone needing some dog-sitting / walking, as she’s incredibly professional and caring, recognising that each dog have their own personality. Thank you!!!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Wolverhampton on Rover is £40.25 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,303 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wolverhampton. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Wolverhampton walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wolverhampton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
