“I had a great experience with my dog sitter, Katherine who looked after my dog for two days. From the start, they were friendly, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. They took the time to understand my dog’s routine and made sure he was comfortable and well cared for. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos—it gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was happy and in good hands. When I returned, he was relaxed, well-exercised, and clearly had been given lots of attention and care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter, and I’ll definitely be booking with them again.”

About: I've been looking after dogs from the age of 12 when I would walk and feed family/friends pets. I also had work experience in a doggy daycare centre (which was very fun). Because of this I've managed to spend time with loads of different breeds from puppies to older dogs. I've never done needles but I do have experience with medication too. I currently look after people's pets as my main job role. I have a couple walks every morning, the rest of my jobs are usually 0 hours contracts so are on my terms. I have a fenced garden and have had dogs of my own, I am fully insured and love to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible.
“This was our first time leaving our little bernie with someone other family. We had met Tahra before habd and felt very comfortable with her looking after him and bernie seemed very comfortable with her too! He was well looked after and will definitely be asking Tahra to help us out with dog sitting again! Thanks Tahra!”

“I couldn't be more pleased with Kim. Alfie is a very nervous, fiesty, Jack Russell but Kim was brilliant with him, slowly winning his trust in a very calm way. They are now the best of friends! I will definitely be booking Kim again to dog and house sit, I can highly recommend her, thank you Kim! ?”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I do care for every dog/cat as if they were my own. I provide personalised attention, from tailored diets to playful park runs and soothing grooming sessions. I understand that every dog is unique, and I’m committed to ensuring their happiness, comfort, and wellbeing. Building trust and creating meaningful bonds with the pets I care for brings me joy, and I dedicate myself fully to making sure they feel loved and secure. Taking care of our best friends is more than a job to me—it is what fulfills my soul. Each walk, grooming session, or playful moment makes me the happiest person ever and brings a sense of purpose. Knowing that I’m making a dog/cat feel happy, safe, and loved is what drives me. It’s not just about taking care of them, it’s about building a bond that makes us both happy. This work enriches my life, and I’m fully dedicated to every little friend I meet. Currently, I’m not working as I’m looking for a position in research, so my schedule is very open. Aside from reading and exercising, I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for dogs. Being around them would bring me so much happiness, as it reminds me of my own dog and cats back home, whom I miss deeply. This opportunity fits perfectly into my routine and would help fill that gap by allowing me to share my love for animals. I normally exercise at 7-8am and then prepare my meals, I go to the park to read, I also stay at home those windy and rainy days. I have three parks next to home. I have a fence yard, but since I do not have a dog/cat, we barely use it. However, there is plenty of space for our little friend. Also I have a bag that I used to take my dog when he was a baby. I have 2 roommates who are lovely, they occasionally are at home but basically is just me during the day.

“Shelly was very friendly and accommodating. She updated us regularly which was really nice. Communication from the very start was brilliant. Shelly looked after out cat and 3 kittens with a lot of love and personalised care, taking care of their individual needs and routines. Our cats were very settled and happy with Shelly. Definitely recommend.”

I once had a cat who was very curious and playful. It liked to follow me around the house and sometimes sit next to me while I was sleeping. It also loved sleeping in warm places. Having that cat made me very happy because it was a friendly and comforting companion That is why cats are special to me . They are loving, gentle and always bring a little joy to everyday life.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, I currently have 4 beautiful samoyeds who I have raised since they were puppies. I trained them all myself and have made them comfortable enough on a lead that they can now go to dog shows (one of my dogs Lola actually went to crufts last year with her impeccable skills on a lead). I have had experience with senior dogs also, my little staffy bluey only recently passed this Jan and her age and medical conditions meant she required extra care, which I provided daily. Whenever my family or friends go on holiday I am always the first person they ask to sit for them as they know I adore animals and will provide their furry friend with the correct care and treatment they need. I currently work full time (37.5 hours a week) at Russell’s hall hospital. My hours can vary but I will only work 7.5 hours a day so will always have time to fit a walk into my schedule. I have a fenced off back garden and have 4 dogs of my own to keep your furry friend company. I do also have a crate for if your dog is crate trained and is happier to sleep in a crate
About: Since moving out with my partner, leaving behind my family cat (Lola, 9) and golden Lab (Riley, 5) I am missing them very much (despite seeing them weekly still). I would love to spend more time with your pet, taking them for walks, playing and cuddling on the sofa. I have experience looking after other peoples dogs of different breeds (for example staffy, cocker spaniel, mini daschund) for varying periods of time, looking after a lovely cocker spaniel in January 2026 for a week. I am able to walk any dogs whether on or off the lead if they have good recall, and able to wash/shower pets appropriately. I currently work full time - but this is split between uni and actual work days. I have uni days where I work from home all day, and never work weekends. I will care for your pet as my own, ensuring any guidance given is followed correctly to make sure each pet and their individual needs are met.

Sandwell pet owners share their Rover experiences
I cannot recommend Glenda highly enough! They took exceptional care of my 8-year-old Boston Terrier, and from the moment we met, I knew my dog was in fantastic hands. Throughout the stay, I received regular updates, photos, and messages, which completely put my mind at ease. It was clear that my dog was getting plenty of attention, affection, and excellent care. As any dog owner knows, leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, but Glenda made the entire experience effortless and worry-free. When I picked my Boston Terrier up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a wonderful time. It was obvious he had been treated like one of the family rather than just another dog being looked after. Thank you for going above and beyond. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals really shine through. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and would wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter. Five stars aren't enough!

I don't think our dog missed us!! Siobhan is our first choice always, came home to a happy dog. Loved getting the daily updates from home, our dog loves her (as do we). She is fantastic with our girl who comes with her quirks, really patience, looks after her and our home well.
I had a great experience with my dog sitter, Katherine who looked after my dog for two days. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter, and I’ll definitely be booking with them again.

Levi was absolutely fantastic looking after Alfie while we were away! From the start, communication was great — friendly and reliable. It was clear that Levi truly loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously. Alfie can be a bit shy at first, but he warmed up to Levi. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was happy, well-fed, and getting plenty of attention and cuddles. We would definitely ask for Levi’s help again!

Aldelina looked after our furballs marvellously. She was accommodating and understanding about our rather individual living situation (the back of a school!). The dogs loved her and she spent quality time with them on walks and all sorts so they were very happy with that! 100% would book again.
