About: I have lived with dogs since I was a child, and my family in China has an 18-year-old small dog, so I understand how much love, patience and routine pets need at every stage of life. In the UK, I have also helped look after my friends’ dogs, including Dachshunds, Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels. I have experience with feeding, walking, playing, keeping dogs company and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I will follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep them updated with messages and photos. I am currently a student, so my schedule is very flexible. I am usually available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can plan around each pet’s routine. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with safe indoor space, and there is a small dog park at the apartment for walks and toilet breaks.

About: I’ve loved cats and animals from a young age and have always enjoyed spending time caring for them. Over the past 5 years, I’ve been pet sitting around Birmingham, looking after different pets and getting to know their individual personalities, routines and needs. I understand that every cat is different. Some love attention and cuddles, while others prefer their own space and a quieter environment. I’m happy to follow their routine, give them plenty of care and companionship, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’ve recently decided to make my Rover profile more active because I genuinely enjoy caring for pets and would love to help more owners feel confident that their cats are in safe and loving hands. 🐾

About: Hello, I’m Michaela, cat mum to Willow (aka Will, Willowbobs, Fluffybum)! I can’t think of a time when I haven’t had cats in my life, whether that’s my own or my family’s. I come from a very long line of cat lovers! Willow was a stray and I found out later she was pregnant. Needless to say I have become experienced in Cat mum care following a Caesarean, bottle feeding kittens and weaning. I’m also experienced in senior cat care including those with health needs such as arthritis and hypothyroidism. Leaving your cat for any period of time can be difficult and ensuring it’s with someone you trust to give the best care is priority. It’s always a privilege to be able to offer the care for furry, intuitive, sassy members of your family. I currently work full time and am available in the evening throughout the week and during the day times Monday and Tuesday. I’d love to hear from you to discuss you and your cat’s needs so don’t hesitate to contact me.

“Julie is lovely, she was great with our cat and Pooky warmed to her quickly, you can tell she enjoys being around cats and gave us peace of mind. Would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter and will be booking with her again next time we go away!”

It was the best choice I could have made, she was so loving and caring with my cat that I think I would have kept her forever ☺️🥰 I will definitely come back to her whenever I want to leave my cat in very good hands. Plus she was never late or canceled a visit day. She was always there as we had planned together. Thank you Lucy, you already know that Shadow loves you and I know that you love him too. 🥰🌹🌹🌹”

About: I’m a loving and attentive dog owner who enjoys caring for dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. I’ve had my own dog, Milo, since he was born, so I’m very used to giving him lots of care and attention. I’m always mindful of a dog’s safety on walks, keeping a close eye on their surroundings and what they’re sniffing or walking through — especially those pesky grass seeds! I make sure they have water and suitable treats when needed, and after walks I like to keep them clean and comfortable by gently wiping their paws, face and fur with dog-safe, environmentally friendly wipes. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m patient, responsible and love dogs. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and attention I give my own. 🐾❤️ I have a full-time job, but my schedule is pretty flexible and I can do most times between 11am and 9pm. I know lots of lovely dog-walking spots, whether that’s open green spaces, dog-friendly areas or the forest, and I’m always happy to explore new places too. I’m also happy to collect and drop your dog back home, making it easy to fit a fun and enjoyable walk into their day. 🐾❤️ As I’m currently offering dog walking rather than boarding or sitting, I’ll care for your dog during their walk and make sure they’re safe, comfortable and happy throughout. I’m happy to collect and return your dog to your home, and I’ll always treat them with the same care and attention I give my own dog 🐾

She made sure pepper was ok with other dogs before I booked as she knew she already had another booking which actually made no difference to me because pepper adores other dogs! pepper seemed very comfortable with Cece and I would definately use her again!”

“Wivi is so wonderful and took such great care of my cat, Midnight, whilst we were away. It was his first time away from home so he seemed anxious but Wivi was so kind and gave him a lovely holiday home. Really appreciate and recommend her! Will definitely want to rebook in future when we go away again. Thank you so much! X”

“Can't thank Reece and his partner enough for looking after chop. Chop clearly loved his stay with them and it was absolutely amazing to have updates via WhatsApp of chop and what they got up too! Would definitely recommend them both as dog sitters and can definitely trust them. Chop had a brilliant time and settled well which is something I was anxious about. Will definitely use Reece as a dog sitter again!”

“Connor did a great job looking after Henry. We were kept updated with pictures and videos and Henry was returned to us very happy and full of beans. I would recommend Connor’s services. Thank you!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, I’ve had 3 huskies and now I have a large goldendoodle but she’s at home while I’m here at University studying to become a nurse! Before university I worked for a doggy daycare and dog walking company and absolutely LOVED it, I miss the animals so incredibly as dogs are my complete world. I’m used to walking (both on and off lead) and looking after dogs of all sizes, and I have done house sitting before. With my old job, we looked after dogs of all ages, so newborn puppies to seniors, and all my dogs we have had from puppies so I can help with basic home training needs like toileting etc! I will love your dog like my own, and I can be their special friend to keep them company while you enjoy yourself elsewhere! I am currently at University studying to become an adult and child nurse, so I am in lectures 3 days a week, but the timings of these vary weekly, so I am around all the time on my days off if your furry friend needs constant company, but during days I am at university I can pop in on your pup every 4 hours and spend evenings giving lots of love to the animals! I do not have any pets where I live at the moment, and I know all my dog first aid due to my prior animal experience!
“Anthony was super communicative and flexible. We arranged a meet and greet ahead of my dog Toby staying with him, which made drop off easier. During the stay, Anthony sent loads of updates and everything went really smooth. Toby had a blast. Highly recommend.”

About: I have looked after my own dog since she joined our family as a puppy 4 years ago. I am well skilled at training younger puppies and enjoy handling energetic dogs as she can be quite boisterous. I also now have experience sitting and walking dogs on Rover too. I’m currently studying Dentistry full time at university so weekends and week evenings are best for me. Unfortunately, my landlord does not allow pets so I’m not able to dog sit at my flat. Other than that, I am very keen on looking after dogs since I miss my own so much since moving out of the house! After learning how to train my own pup at home, I understand the different ways of using play and treats to make sure dogs are well behaved. I am a very clean person and will treat your home with same respect as if it were mine. With regards to safety, I’m experienced at handling very active dogs and am also DBS Security checked.

“Laura was perfect for our dog pickles. We arranged a little meetup beforehand to talk about everything. We immediately trusted Laura. She listened to our care instructions and we didn’t worry about Pickles once. Pickles seemed super happy from start to finish. We got plenty of updates and photographs. Will definitely be coming to Laura again!”

“Laura has been absolutely fantastic with my boy Teddy, her love for dogs is so clear and Teddy has made a puppy pal! Can’t really ask for anything more, knowing he’s safe, cared for and happy means an awful lot.”

“Lucas and his partner are super friendly and really care for your pets! We met for a couple of dog walks prior to get Gunther used to both Lucas and his partner before his stay so he felt more comfortable! Lucas and his partner are very accommodating! We had daily updates on Gunther with photos, updates included how he’d been settling, how he slept, if any walks, what they were up to that day etc! We loved these updates and it put us at ease with this being Gunthers first time not staying with family members, we were happy Gunther was happy and we’d definitely recommend Lucas and his partner to others and would love to book again in the future!!”
