“Devon is absolutely brilliant! This is the third time we’ve booked cat sitting with Devon. Our cats were well cared for, and we received regular updates with photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommended!”

About: Hey, im Beth, I have always had such a huge love for animals! I currently dont have any of my own animals, other than my hamster Augustus! I live in Wolverhampton and work from home monday-friday. My experience for pet sitting ranges from looking after young and excitable dogs for 1+ weeks in my home, to caring for elderly sick dogs who need that extra love and attention. I work from home monday - friday but do have to leave the house for 2-3 hours at a time for meetings a few days a week. In my own home, I have a large fenced, secure garden and allow animals to explore any area downstairs. During boarding, the dog will be sleeping in a kitchen/dining/living area where they will have a sofa they can sleep on or their own bed. At the pets home, i am happy to follow the rules and routines the owner suggests.
“I've used Stacey before so knew she was very good. I was kept up to date with photos and messages from her visits. Jet is quite an anxious cat but was very relaxed when I arrived home. Would definitely recommend. Thank you again Stacey 😊”

“Olivia did a really good job looking after our cat. She was reliable, gave him attention, and sent us photos and videos of him every day. She was good communicating after we came back about a couple of things too. Would recommend ”
“Alisha has been brilliant in looking after our cat. She is attentive and caring and has kept us updated with photos and messages after each drop in which was very reassuring. We highly recommend Alisha!”

About: Hi, I’m a reliable and experienced pet sitter based in Wolverhampton. I have over nine years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets, including both cats and dogs. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to provide care for either part of the day or full-day sessions depending on your needs. I take pet care seriously and make sure feeding times and walks are always completed on schedule. I use reminders when needed to ensure pets are well looked after, comfortable, and receive consistent care and attention throughout the day. I currently don’t work so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after a dog or a cat and almost every day I’m free. I take my dog on daily walks and I always make sure to feed her daily, sometimes I’ll take her on long walks around Cannock chase
About: In terms of Dogs I have learned from the best. Dogs are part of the family and integral to my life, I always enjoy giving back the love they've given me. I have availability in the evenings after 6:30pm usually and all day saturday, but please get in touch to ask because my weeks change and I may be able to suit times outside this window. Pets look to us for safety. Practicing commands prior to walks and allowing them to get used to me. After that the dog is much more trusting and engaged when I am with them.
“This was the very first time I've ever used a pet sitting service and I was a little bit nervous about trusting a stranger into my home to look after my pet, but I couldn't have asked for a nicer and more considerate person who genuinely loves animals than Kaitlin. There was updates and photos after each visit which gave us constant reassurance and comfort knowing Napoleon was in safe hands. Top marks. Very reliable and trusting. Thank you so much x”

About: I have had many pets during my childhood, including dogs, chickens, ponies, and fish! I currently have a 1 year old dog in my family home and knowing how much I love looking after her and being involved in training, more than I was with our last as I was too young, I would love to do some pet sitting during the summer holidays to help me save up for my first year at uni. I have trained my puppy very well including things like waiting for a treat thats on the floor, shaking paw, sitting on command, and stay. Considering she is a staff and our last was too, I know how their energy can be! No matter if your dog is a cuddly couch puppy or bouncing off the walls I know we will have a good time! I'm working part time as a bartender and waitress, so popping in to see your pup or staying with them is both very doable! The way my shift patterns work, I will be able to spend around half of the day with your pet on weekends and most of the day on weekdays! I have years of experience caring for my own dog and understand that some younger pups may need to be crated or kept to certain areas of the house. I also am a big believer in keeping your dog entertained with puzzles and toys that are engaging! I have made many fun activities for my dog and I find it keeps them busy and gets their brains working.
About: My neighbours rely on me to walk and take care of their dogs, I hope you can rely on me too. I've also taken care of fish, guinea pigs, rabbits and cats so I'm pretty versatile with the care I can give your pets. I have also trained 2 dogs to be potty trained and do some tricks. I'm a uni student studying medicine at Uni of Leicester with a flexible schedule and a big love for dogs. I’m usually free in the early mornings and evenings, which makes walks and playtime easy to fit in. I’m also available on Fridays and weekends for dog boarding. Your pup will get plenty of attention, care, and cuddles while you’re away! I haven't got other pets in my home so it's easy to give all my attention to your pup. There is a park just 5 minutes away from where I live so your dog can have a good time with fresh air. I've been dog walking for 3 years now so I hope you trust me with your dog and I promise to make sure they feel safe, loved and well-exercised.
About: Enthusiastic and loves animals, confident and professional. Who doesn’t want someone who loves animals and knows how to connect with them to look after their prized pets. I’m free all week so I can walk the distance and make sure I arrive on time and make sure your fur babies are well looked after. I make sure they are well fed and have enough time outside to have their daily exercise, I also spend a lot of time giving them attention and love as that’s what they want.
About: a genuine animal lover offering reliable drop-in visits for dogs and pets around my work schedule and weekends. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet and entering your home. I currently work within the NHS and am Enhanced DBS checked through my NHS role, so reliability, communication and compassion are extremely important to me. I own a friendly beagle called Deuce who is 3 years old. He has been a whole mixture of personalities, from challenging with anxiety to calm and chilled… so I have a good understanding of being flexible and understanding of different behaviours. Whether your dog needs company, feeding, toilet breaks, playtime or simply reassurance while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I’m happy to provide regular photo updates during visits so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Please contact me on messages if you have specific days that I may not have highlighted as available. Depending on my shifts, I may be able to help. Happy to accept evenings if needed. I currently work full time for the NHS, so can only offer around that at present. The reason I have joined is because whilst looking for dog care for my own beagle I have realised, just how little is out there. I have searched anxiously trying to find the right fit for my beagle and whilst I have found what meets his needs now, it wasn’t easy. It made me think that, if I could make someone’s day easier by knowing their pets are checked on etc then why not. So realistically, whilst my availability isnt massive, it may be just what someone needs. Drop-In Visits only 🐾 Currently only offer drop in visits at owners home - x2 per day at present. May branch out depending on time etc I currently offer drop-in visits for dogs and pets in their own home environment. Visits can include: * Feeding and fresh water * Toilet breaks * Playtime and enrichment * Puppy/elderly dog check-ins * Plenty of fuss and reassurance * Photo and message updates
“Sherelle did a brilliant job looking after my 2 cats while I was away. She kept great communication from start to the end of the booking. Kept me posted with what was happening and asked questions. I trusted her fully. I felt very reassured that my boys were looked after very well. I would totally rebook for next trip. Thank you, Sherelle. X”

Elizabeth is the nicest person you will meet, she put us at ease instantly and the communication whilst away is brilliant, you can tell she really cares about your pets. Having 2 very spoilt house cats that struggle to have anyone else in their space they both warmed to her and was relaxed on every visit. We couldn't recommend her enough. Thank you again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
