About: Hi! I'm a 30 year old student, studying Clinical Animal Behaviour & Welfare at Harper Adams, living in Wellington but able to cover Newport & surrounding areas, as well as Telford. I have owned dogs my whole life, and have a deep rooted love for all kinds of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I'm that girl that could name you almost any breed you show her 😂 I have experience and I'm confident in walking all kinds of dogs, including; reactive, nervous, untrained & high energy. All dogs are welcome from puppy hood to senior life! I am available for dog walks & drop in visits, providing we can work around my uni timetable 😊 I have personal experience with cats and professional experience with small mammals so am able to provide for their needs too, should it be required. About: I have had pets of all sorts since the age of 4 so with 34 years of experience I think I have this, about 5 years ago I had a training camp for puppy’s that was fun to say the least. My schedule is Monday-Friday any time past 7pm Saturday-Sunday all day unless stated otherwise but will try and fit anyone in at any time, only thing is my full time job. In my own home we have a bunny called Betty and a cat called Ashley yes Ashley don’t ask the kids call her it the bunny is house trained the cat is so chilled out she even likes a bath 🧼

About: I have always had pets of my own, whether a dog, a cat, a bird, or a hamster. So I understand the importance of ensuring pets are provided with the utmost care they deserve in a familiar environment that will help diminish any anxiety or stress. I have an extended diploma in Animal Management at a grade triple Distinction star. I also have a BSc (Hons) in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. I work Monday through Friday in a hybrid role. Office days are scheduled ahead of time so I can inform a potential dog owner of these dates. I am available on weekends. I will discuss a pets routine and nutritional requirements thoroughly before any house sitting to understand what a day in their life looks like. This is to ensure I can match this while they are in my care. No matter how big or small, I genuinely adore animals, so I would always make sure they were safe and content, and of course, I would provide owners with as many updates as they desire.

About: I have grown up with pets from a young age, ranging for dogs to cats to rabbits and guinea pigs and fish. My first ever job was at a dog kennels when I was 13 where i started as a dog walker and loved being there so much I asked to stay longer so took on feeding, play time and cleaning duties also, was such a great first job. I have been the owner of both rescue and non-rescue dogs in the past so understand a little of what challenges and needs each can have. I have also been taking care of friends and families dogs for a number of years now and 2 years ago I started petsitting on another site (trusted house sitters) where I have a 5star review profile and have completed sits both in the UK and also abroad. I take regular breaks from my laptop so can provide regular toilet breaks, walks, cuddles to pets during the day as well. I am a fairly quiet and laid back individual who enjoys quiet evenings at home. At my home I have a fenced garden which pets are free to go out in, and also a cosy home that they are free to roam around, I can limit their access to match the rules you have in place at your home, i.e if they don’t go upstairs at your home or on the furniture then I am happy to be consistent and not allow them to do that here, and vice versa, if they are allowed that luxury at your home I am happy for them to do those things here too. For pet sitting at your home, I will understand the routine that they have in place and stick to it as required.

About: Thought my life I have owned many cats and dogs and I believe that every animal is unique in their own way and that every animal deserves an extra best friend. I have a fenced and bricked premature around my garden and ensure that I have my full attention on the pet at all times to ensure that they are happy and healthy. “Cody has looked after our dogs brilliantly for the last few years. Coping with five dogs on his own regularly as I have gone away for work sometimes weeks at a time. Not only five dogs at once but also caring for an African Pygmy hedgehog. He has a natural affinity for all muts, he is unfazed by the reactive hounds, and very attune to their needs. What is even more important is dogs sense his good intention, kind nature and love for them, and so they all take a natural liking towards him. He is sensible, keeps good communication, can send photos of them on their walks or when he does a pop in. He is very attentive to their moods, needs, appetite and will alert to the slightest change in their character. Our pack consists of high energy breeds like Dalmatians, and rescue strays from abroad, giving him a mix of experience. I run my own business and also network with other dog walkers and pet carers in Shropshire. I have completed four years of Veterinary Medicine University in Brazil, however I could not finish the degree due to relocation to the UK. My own cat Tilly lived up to 21 years old, so I also have the experience of all phases of life, including nursing special care cats in geriatric years. ​My Experience with Dogs: Since my business was established, I had the opportunity to work with dogs on a daily basis through walks or house sittings. I've started with solo walks for dogs that struggled with reactiveness to the world or just those that were friendly but the owners wanted them to have a 1-2-1 session and exclusive attention, and over the time I was able to build up social walks where dogs could interact with each other and have the best time together. I've mastered the social walks and interactions to a level where all the dogs had granted fun on a happy and harmonic small group in every walk and I liked to run the social walks so much that I eventually switched the focus of the dog walking part of my business to only offering social walks and became a specialist on this field. I then took on a dog training qualification with Absolute Dogs ('m a certified Pro Dog Trainer and I will always handle your pets force free, aversive free and fear free, through positive reinforcement training techniques (Concept Dog Training, through games) and gentle guidance) with the aim to have a better understanding of dog body language and interactions with the environment and to be able to tailor my social group walks to be structured walks where all dogs would have calmness on the lead upon arriving in the park and amazing recall skills so all dogs could walk off lead around me and be always on my proximity and come back to me as soon as called. All the knowledge acquired during my dog training qualification and applied to real life have elevated our social group walks to an amazing level of harmony where we would have 100% of happy, calm and playful dogs, that could be walked calmly on lead upon arrival to the (public) park, have freedom to run once they were released from their leads and play on a controlled environment, respecting each other's boundaries and the public, and being able to have their arousal levels down prior to going back on lead before we walked back to the vehicle at the end of our sessions. About My Services: I'm always improving myself through courses or refreshers to keep my knowledge up to date with modern techniques and scientific methods that are relevant for my day to day skills when caring for your pets so I can offer the best qualified service your furry, feathered or scaled friends can have. I'm fully insured and can provide a DBS (formerly CRB) check and I also hold a Pet First Aid certificate and an OFQUAL Level 3 Award in Canine Emergency First Aid, so you can have peace of mind that your furry, feathered and scaled friends will be safe in my hands. I have a climate controlled vehicle fitted with bespoke dog crates and UV windows, non slip rubber matting and vet bedding and an individual non spill water bowl in each crate, so your pooch will travel with safety, comfort and luxury when going to and returning from their walks. If your pooch is scared of crates, it's not an issue. I can also transport them on a seat using a harness safely attached to a dog seat belt and help to desensitise them until they feel safe to travel inside a crate. I'm also able to offer my services on non-sociable hours and drive your pets to a veterinarian in case of emergencies under my care. ​ I'm also certified through Emmi-Pet and able to provide dental hygiene to cats and dogs using an ultrasonic tooth cleaning device that removes plaque and tartar build up without the need of anesthetics. There's no vibration, noise or friction brushing. My pet taxi services can help you take your pet to vet appointments, day care, kennels and holidays when you are unable to drive or use public transport. I'm a licensed animal transporter and hold a licence from DEFRA/APHA for the transportation of cats, dogs and small domestic animals of up to 8h inside the UK. I carry a 1st aid kit inside my vehicle. I currently have 3 dogs. A 7 years old Greek Kokoni cross (Medium size), a 5 years old Romanian mongrel (Large size) and a 2 years old Greek Pekingese cross (Small size). I'm compliant with the guidelines from CFSG, the Canine and Feline sector group, and follow all their protocols for handling your pets with safety and minimising the transmission of covid-19 to your family whilst looking after your pet. I'm also a certified dog trainer that uses positive reinforcement methods only, through concepts and games. I will never use force, intimidation or aversive tools to care for your pets or train your dog. They will rewire their brain pathways through fun and cool games that will teach them optimism, disengagement, proximity and many other concepts that will change their way to interact with situations in real life. I train dogs for the situation - not on the situation. Working in non-social hours or long distances is not an issue for me. House sitting availability is according to your pet's needs. I can do overnight stays every week day and weekends (8pm to 8am). If you need someone to sit with your pet during the day, I can accommodate if your pet can be left alone for around 4h at lunchtime Mon-Fri whilst I run dog walks. Saturdays and Sundays I can house sit all day. It's normal routine for your pet at your home, I try to keep their days as they are used to it when you are at home. By keeping their normal routines they are more relaxed and happy.
