“Katie looked after my 3 year old Collie, Seven, and 5 year old Labrador, Zero, for a long weekend. Both of my boys can be slightly enthusiastic and do require lots of exercise and play, so at first I was dubious to leave them in someone else's care, but Katie was absolutely fantastic - both dogs took to her straight away, she is clearly a dog lover. Katie went above and beyond and made sure that the dogs for their 2 long walks a day, and that they were given lots of love and fuss in between. “Bonnie is an extremely friendly, approachable woman who has extensive experience caring for animals. My dog does not differentiate between many visitors that come and go in the house but Bonnie- he remembers and gets super excited whenever she comes to look after him. He does not even give me a backward glance! Even though she only looks after my dog, i have known her since we were young and always admired (and was envious) of her cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters too which her family kept as pets- all were extremely loved and doted upon.”
11. Aimee S.
“First time using Aimee to look after our two vizslas. I had a horrible experience trying to look at kennels for the boys so after finding Aimee on Rover it seemed the perfect solution. We met a while before the day which is massively appreciated as this was comming out of Aimee’s free time. Aimee came to our house and followed our instructions to a T. The boys were happy and we could enjoy our wedding night without worry!”

About: Hello there! I've always been surrounded by animals and have recently moved to a lovely area where pets are welcome. Unfortunately, my current shift patterns make it a bit tricky to have my own pets at the moment. However, I'd be more than delighted to look after your furry (or feathered) friends, either in my home or yours! Whenever my friends and family go on holiday, I like to think I'm the first person they ring to care for their beautiful pets. From dogs and cats to chickens, horses, goats, and even turkeys, I've looked after them all! I have a spacious garden that's properly fenced, so no need to worry about escapees. It's been tried and tested by a cheeky Jack Russell called Bingo, so you can rest easy knowing your pet will be safe and sound. Inside, the entire ground floor has laminate flooring, making it a breeze to clean up any little accidents. There's also a comfy sofa for your pets to curl up on and enjoy a lovely snooze. I'm quite easy-going and more than happy to have your beloved pets stay overnight. Alternatively, I can pop round to check on them in the comfort of their own homes if that's what you'd prefer. So, fancy giving your pets a little holiday while you're away? I'd love to help! My schedule can be a bit varied due to work commitments. I typically work 36 hours a week, either on morning shifts (7am-4pm) or afternoon shifts (11am-6:30pm). The good news is, I'm only 5-10 minutes away from home, depending on traffic, so I'm never far! When I'm not working, you'll likely find me relaxing in front of the telly or enjoying a nice walk. I do play rugby on Wednesday evenings and the occasional Sunday, but apart from that, my free time is quite flexible. This means there's plenty of time for me to lavish attention on your lovely pets! Whether it's playtime, exercise, or just some good old-fashioned cuddles, I'll make sure your furry friends get all the care and affection they need. So, no matter what my work week looks like, rest assured that your pets will be in good hands and will receive plenty of love and attention! I believe in being upfront about pet care, especially when it comes to my work hours. I never want to leave any pets, whether they're mine or someone else's, alone in the house for too long. The care I provide depends on the age and breed of the pet. Take my mum's dogs, for example. There's Dexter, my 14-year-old pooch, and Bingo, her Jack Russell. In the morning, I let them out for a wee and sort out their breakfast. When Dexter was younger, I'd walk him after his meal, but nowadays, the old boy prefers to do his own thing. Bingo, on the other hand, likes to pop round to the neighbours. Come evening, Bingo gets her dinner, and Dexter gets a treat for being a good lad and not pinching Bingo's food (though he does get the grand job of hoovering up any leftovers!). When I look after my grandparents' three poodles, I take them for a walk in the morning as they're fed in the evening. I'm quite lucky with the family pets - all five of them are easygoing, as long as they get treats and someone to cuddle up to in the evening. For my friend's pets - three Jack Russells (Jacks, Abbie, and Willow), a Spaniel (Ellie), and a cat (Gizmo) - I usually stay over at theirs, as it's unfair to move them all to a new place. I feed them morning and night, and take the Jack Russells out for a daily walk. Ellie the Spaniel stays home as per my friend's request (she only listens to him), but I make sure she gets a good game of fetch in the garden for her daily exercise. In the evening, I stick to their usual routine, with all the dogs coming upstairs to sleep in the same room they're used to. Overall, I aim to accommodate the owners' wishes and keep the pets' routines as normal as possible to minimise any stress. Every pet is unique, and I'm always happy to adjust my care to suit their individual needs and personalities.

About: Hi there, thanks for visiting my Rover profile :) I'm a certified Pro Dog Trainer and professional pet sitter & dog walker. I run my own business and also network with other dog walkers and pet carers in Shropshire. I'm insured, have a DBS and have experience and availability to do dog walks and pet sitting (visits for comfort, feeding or overnight stays/living ins). I have completed four years of Veterinary Medicine University in Brazil, however I could not finish the degree due to relocation to the UK. I always had a passion for animals and being around them is what truly makes me happy. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, chicken, rabbits, frogs, birds and hamsters through my life as my own beloved pets and I hold over 20 years of experience caring for all these different animals. I also acquired working experience with turtles & tortoises, parrots, rats & guinea pigs since my business was established. I'm a force free, pain free & fear free professional and work only with positive reinforcement methods and force free, pain free & fear free equipments and tools. My Experience with Cats: In London, I also had the opportunity to work closely with The Cat Doctor, caring for many of their kitty customers (with quite a few being elderly or of special care needs) and sending direct feedback to them regarding to the cat's health concerns during my visits or house sitting stays and liaising directly with them to have their medications topped up as needed whilst the owners were away, providing a truly "worry free" experience to owners. This gave me an amazing "hands on" experience for caring for cats. My own cat Tilly lived up to 21 years old, so I also have the experience of all phases of life, including nursing special care cats in geriatric years. My Experience with Dogs: Since my business was established, I had the opportunity to work with dogs on a daily basis through walks or house sittings. I've started with solo walks for dogs that struggled with reactiveness to the world or just those that were friendly but the owners wanted them to have a 1-2-1 session and exclusive attention, and over the time I was able to build up social walks where dogs could interact with each other and have the best time together. I've mastered the social walks and interactions to a level where all the dogs had granted fun on a happy and harmonic small group in every walk and I liked to run the social walks so much that I eventually switched the focus of the dog walking part of my business to only offering social walks and became a specialist on this field. I then took on a dog training qualification with Absolute Dogs ('m a certified Pro Dog Trainer and I will always handle your pets force free, aversive free and fear free, through positive reinforcement training techniques (Concept Dog Training, through games) and gentle guidance) with the aim to have a better understanding of dog body language and interactions with the environment and to be able to tailor my social group walks to be structured walks where all dogs would have calmness on the lead upon arriving in the park and amazing recall skills so all dogs could walk off lead around me and be always on my proximity and come back to me as soon as called. All the knowledge acquired during my dog training qualification and applied to real life have elevated our social group walks to an amazing level of harmony where we would have 100% of happy, calm and playful dogs, that could be walked calmly on lead upon arrival to the (public) park, have freedom to run once they were released from their leads and play on a controlled environment, respecting each other's boundaries and the public, and being able to have their arousal levels down prior to going back on lead before we walked back to the vehicle at the end of our sessions. About My Services: I'm always improving myself through courses or refreshers to keep my knowledge up to date with modern techniques and scientific methods that are relevant for my day to day skills when caring for your pets so I can offer the best qualified service your furry, feathered or scaled friends can have. I'm fully insured and can provide a DBS (formerly CRB) check and I also hold a Pet First Aid certificate and an OFQUAL Level 3 Award in Canine Emergency First Aid, so you can have peace of mind that your furry, feathered and scaled friends will be safe in my hands. I have a climate controlled vehicle fitted with bespoke dog crates and UV windows, non slip rubber matting and vet bedding and an individual non spill water bowl in each crate, so your pooch will travel with safety, comfort and luxury when going to and returning from their walks. If your pooch is scared of crates, it's not an issue. I can also transport them on a seat using a harness safely attached to a dog seat belt and help to desensitise them until they feel safe to travel inside a crate. I'm also able to offer my services on non-sociable hours and drive your pets to a veterinarian in case of emergencies under my care. I'm also certified through Emmi-Pet and able to provide dental hygiene to cats and dogs using an ultrasonic tooth cleaning device that removes plaque and tartar build up without the need of anesthetics. There's no vibration, noise or friction brushing. My pet taxi services can help you take your pet to vet appointments, day care, kennels and holidays when you are unable to drive or use public transport. I'm a licensed animal transporter and hold a licence from DEFRA/APHA for the transportation of cats, dogs and small domestic animals of up to 8h inside the UK. I carry a 1st aid kit inside my vehicle. I currently have 3 dogs. A 7 years old Greek Kokoni cross (Medium size), a 5 years old Romanian mongrel (Large size) and a 2 years old Greek Pekingese cross (Small size). I'm compliant with the guidelines from CFSG, the Canine and Feline sector group, and follow all their protocols for handling your pets with safety and minimising the transmission of covid-19 to your family whilst looking after your pet. I'm also a certified dog trainer that uses positive reinforcement methods only, through concepts and games. I will never use force, intimidation or aversive tools to care for your pets or train your dog. They will rewire their brain pathways through fun and cool games that will teach them optimism, disengagement, proximity and many other concepts that will change their way to interact with situations in real life. I train dogs for the situation - not on the situation. Working in non-social hours or long distances is not an issue for me. I like to keep in touch with my clients through WhatsApp, SMS or E-mail, and is part of the service I provide to send messages with photos and videos of the pets I'm looking after so owners can have peace of mind about their furry babies :) I hope you will like my profile and I will meet you and your pet soon! :) Dog walking availability from Monday-Sunday AM, PM and Evenings Pop in visits can be done AM or PM. House sitting availability is according to your pet's needs. I can do overnight stays every week day and weekends (8pm to 8am). If you need someone to sit with your pet during the day, I can accommodate if your pet can be left alone for around 4h at lunchtime Mon-Fri whilst I run dog walks. Saturdays and Sundays I can house sit all day. It's normal routine for your pet at your home, I try to keep their days as they are used to it when you are at home. By keeping their normal routines they are more relaxed and happy.
