About: Based in Wednesbury, I have been pet sitting for several years on Trusted House Sitters and House Carers as well as caring for friend's and family's companion animals when needed. I have experience looking after dogs, cats, rodents, sheep, birds, fish, goats, poultry, rabbits and cows in both the UK and France. Over the years I have built up an amount of excellent 5* reviews and references I offer pet sitting in your home or boarding. When staying in a client's home I take good care to leave it in an excellent, clean state. Your pet's welfare and happiness is of highest priority and I will ask for several details from you about his/her personality, likes/dislikes/routine/ health requirements and history etc including last flea and worming treatment and vet details. This enables a secure handover where both parties are happy in the knowledge your pet is in safe hands. I can also board small animals such as hamsters, rats, mice etc. I only board one pet at a tim unless they come together as one family. I have a secure high fenced back garden and a recreation field nearby for long walks. I have a certificate in pet first aid and DBS checked.( Please ask to see if you wish). Please ask me for further details about availability and particular needs. I have a small, but welcoming house with wildlife friendly front and back gardens. There are no other animals living at my home so any boarders won't be sharing with any unfamiliar animals when coming to stay. In my past experience as a pet sitter I have cared for up to three dogs or four cats comfortably at the same time so I can board or come care for more than one pet if they usually live together. I understand the importance of sticking to routines and feeding schedules. Cats will be boarded at my home as house cats, with 24hr access to toilet facilities and a lap :-). I have experience administering tablet form medications and caring for disabled older dogs in their own home.

About: I have had 3 dogs in my lifetime one as a teenage child the other one as a adult. My current dog who I have raised from a plant hungry , dust pan brush lover puppy to a more chilled golden oldie. As owner of a very senior labrador i am familiar with attending to their unique needs, quirks and routines . I feel i am quite intuitive with dogs characters and behaviour styles and so can adapt to their care accordingly. I have large secure garden which all my four legged visitors seem to love to play in with plenty of space to have sniffs. I'm the only adult living here and only care for one dog at a time making for a quiet and calm environment so undivided attention can be given to your pooch during their stay so ideal for nervous or senior dogs. I work set rota 2 X long days per week ,so the rest of time i' m available to lavish attention on your furry baby I try to keep my calender regularly updated to reflect my working rota I work within a healthcare organisations which means I have up to date criminal reference and now police vetting clearance, due to current work environment. Every year i am required to under take health and safety training relevant to my role. I have completed practical animal first aid course. I find my time as Dog sitter an extremely therapeutic and rewarding addition to my other job as I get to take care of some amazing and unique four legged characters along the way.

About: I have 6 years of experience in animal behaviour and animal husbandry, ranging from aquatics, domestic and exotic species. I am trained in dog and cat first aid as well as behaviour training for all species, this is to degree level. I have experience with dogs that have additional behavioural needs and may need extra tlc to feel at ease. I use public transport and walking to travel however this Is no barrier as I used to live in the Welsh mountains. I am available full time with no other commitments. I keep dogs on leash unless me and your pet have developed a bond over walking and they have good recall. I will follow all owners instructions on handling the pet, whilst making it an engaging experience, such as engaging on leash activities, and before taking off leash making sure the area is secure. I have experience creating enrichment that is calming and can occupy your pets time and divert energy.

We are aware and sympathetic to each dog's individual needs such as dietary requirements and possible nervous or anxious dogs. About: A dog isn't just a dog, it's an extension of a family unit. I've had a love for dogs all my life, which still grows unabated. I had a dog for just over ten years (Siren rottweiler bullmastiff) untill she passed away on new years day of 2021. Although it's been 3 years I still feel that I can't replace her yet, which will change in due time. It's understandable that work, family and other commitments can spiral and leave many owners in a bind, so I wish to provide my services to those who are in need of help in relation to their pets needs. When out on walks alot of dogs gravitate towards me for fusses. I've been approached over the years by new dog owners in regards to leash walking and basic obedience trainning which is gladly provided. Dog owners with nervous rescue dogs in need of resocialisation find ease and comfort when approaching me. Caring for senior dogs takes a special type of attention, deep down they wish they could do the things they were once capable of. I know what procedures to put in place to make them comfortable, forever loved and cherished. I'm currently working in full time shift work, however with advance notice a plan can be formulated to fit in the time for you're pets needs. Set requirements from dog owners will be respected and undertaken with full compliance to ensure your pets needs are catered for with peace of mind.
