Jill was fantastic at looking after my two precious cats. I was so worried about leaving them overnight for the first time but having Jill there was so reassuring she updated me with so many pictures. The cats looked happy the whole time and ensured that they were played with With to their schedule as they are House cats. Helped out with taking in parcels to. Very thankful for Jill and having her there to keep my anxiety low at what is a stressful time when leaving your babies. Will definitely be booking Jill again on my next holiday. I would give her 10 stars if I could!!

About: Hi! I’m Eva! I have plenty of experience with animals. I’ve always grown up around animals and had a love for them, I used to do horse riding, and always owned pets from hamsters to dogs. I’ve been around all different animals and breeds which gave me extensive knowledge in temperaments, breeds, exercise needs, different foods etc. I adore animals and have my own cat called Marble and dog called Rosie who are my world. Having that passion and love for animals is a great attribute and I certainly have that. I can administer oral medications and injected medications too. I work 2.15pm till 6.45pm Monday to Friday and 10am-1pm every other saturday so it works perfectly as I can do visits between 9am and 1pm and then do an evening visit after work. On weekends I can do longer visits as well if you need your dog looking after for a few hours for example. In all my visits I can do dog walking too where necessary. I look after pets in YOUR homes, So I would be extremely careful with keys, windows and doors. My cat is an indoor cat so I am very strict about windows being open and doors when I’m not there to ensure they don’t escape. I am very trustworthy and follow your instructions you give me, it is your home and I am here to respect that :)

Catherine travelled to drop in on my pup at short notice. After reading through her bio I was confident that she had the experience, knowledge and ability to provide my pup with the care he needed; this was proven true during her visit. Catherine followed my instructions exactly and provided updates throughout her visit including a picture of my little man enjoying his walk. My pup required oral medication which Catherine administered with no issues. My puppy had a great time and my house was left secure. I will definitely be using Catherine’s services in the future and would recommend her even for those who are apprehensive and nervous about their pets care.

About: Hi, I’m a dad to an amazing three-year-old, and caring for others, whether they’re children or animals, has always been a huge part of who I am.
Animals have been part of my life for many years, and I genuinely understand that pets aren’t “just animals” they’re family. At home, we share our lives with our dog, Rafa, and our two cats, Gini and Bobby, who are very much part of the family. Looking after them every day has given me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding routines, exercise, playtime, grooming, and understanding their different personalities and behaviours. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals have always been a big part of my life. I already have experience caring for my own pets, including my dog and two cats, so feeding, exercise, playtime, and providing attention are part of my everyday routine. I’m organised and reliable, and I plan my week around making sure pets receive the care, consistency, and companionship they need. Whether it’s walks, home visits, feeding routines, or simply spending time with them, I enjoy making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. For me, pet care isn’t just a task — it’s about building trust and treating every animal like a valued member of the family. I care for every pet by taking the time to understand their individual routine, personality, and needs. Whether I’m visiting a pet in their own home or caring for them during walks, I always aim to provide a calm, safe, and comfortable experience. I will follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication needs (if required), and any specific preferences. I believe pets are happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I focus on keeping things familiar while providing plenty of attention, play, and affection. Having cared for my own dog and two cats for many years, I understand how important trust is when someone else is looking after your pets. My goal is to make sure they feel secure, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: With over five years of dog walking experience, I've developed a strong understanding of canine behaviour, exercise needs and safety. I'm also qualified in pet and companion animal nutrition, with previous professional experience in the pet food industry, giving me valuable insight into diet and wellbeing. Alongside my background in pet sitting, I'm confident caring for animals in a home environment and maintaining their routines. I have experience supporting pets with a range of health conditions, including allergies and joint issues, and im attentive to their individual needs to ensure they stay comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I'm available weekdays until 3pm for dog walking services. I currently work part time during the school term, a few hours a day 2-3 days a week, which gives me most of the day to care for your pets! I have a young child and two dogs of my own therefore I would not board in my own home or board in your home overnight. Im flexible when it comes to how you wish for your pets to be cared for comfortably in your own home. I am happy to use your own leads and collars and other walking tools (except pronged collars) or I can bring my own lead.

About: A dog isn't just a dog, it's an extension of a family unit. I've had a love for dogs all my life, which still grows unabated. I had a dog for just over ten years (Siren rottweiler bullmastiff) untill she passed away on new years day of 2021. Although it's been 3 years I still feel that I can't replace her yet, which will change in due time. It's understandable that work, family and other commitments can spiral and leave many owners in a bind, so I wish to provide my services to those who are in need of help in relation to their pets needs. When out on walks alot of dogs gravitate towards me for fusses. I've been approached over the years by new dog owners in regards to leash walking and basic obedience trainning which is gladly provided. Dog owners with nervous rescue dogs in need of resocialisation find ease and comfort when approaching me. Caring for senior dogs takes a special type of attention, deep down they wish they could do the things they were once capable of. I know what procedures to put in place to make them comfortable, forever loved and cherished. I'm currently working in full time shift work, however with advance notice a plan can be formulated to fit in the time for you're pets needs. Set requirements from dog owners will be respected and undertaken with full compliance to ensure your pets needs are catered for with peace of mind.

It meant a lot to be able to relax knowing he was well cared for.

I would highly recommend Jayne as a cat sitter! She treated our cat as if he were her own, and it’s very clear that she truly adores cats. Jayne followed all of our instructions and ensured our boy was spoiled with lots of fuss and attention. She also sent us lots of photo updates. We were quite nervous to leave our cat for the first time, but Jayne soon put our minds at ease.

Laura looked after my rescue cat whilst I was on holiday for 5 nights, and did an amazing job keeping him company, well fed and entertained! I felt very reassured during my holiday that Heathcliff was in good hands, and the drop in photos from Laura's visits allowed me to see he was happy and comfortable. I asked Laura to visit twice a day and she did so without failure, on time every time. Laura is a lovely person and you can tell she really cares about the pets in her care. I'll definitely be booking again x

There are 998 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Walsall. About 90% of Walsall sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
