About: 🐾✨Hi, I’m Sophie- your local friendly, experienced and fully insured pet sitter✨🐾 I have a deep connection with animals and I have lived my whole life surrounded by them. As well as appreciating (and occasionally saving!) all kinds of wildlife, I have cared for a wide range of pets- including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish and reptiles. I now offer pet care services including sitting, dog walking and home visits, bringing a wealth of experience- from young to older pets, in sickness and health. 🐶🐱🐴🐕🐇🐈🐠🐹🐩🐢🦮🐕‍🦺🦎🐰🐈‍⬛ Our home is full of animal love, with Bunny, our sweet French Bulldog, Balu our bouncy Boxer pup and three sociable cats who are well used to sharing their space with others! 🏥 As a registered nurse, compassion, patience and attention to detail are second nature to me. I bring these same qualities to the care of every animal, ensuring they always feel safe and loved. 💛My promise is : to treat every pet as if they are my own and provide a loving home from home environment so you can relax and enjoy regular photos and updates, knowing your fur babies are happy and content.💛 There is always someone at home to provide lots of attention, companionship, walks, feeding, playtime and reassurance. Every pet has their own personality, routine and needs and I pride myself on taking the time to get to know each one individually, to ensure they feel comfortable and secure while their humans are away. I will always aim to replicate their usual home routine as closely as possible. 🩷I provide a safe and loving home environment where pets are part of the family! Here, we will always make time to build trust, love and a genuine connection.🩷 Cleanliness, safety and supervision are a priority and my home is very pet friendly, with a large secure high walled garden, safety gates, sofa steps, lots of stimulating toys and a comfy crate for dogs who enjoy having their own cosy space. There is also a cat tree for climbing, relaxing and play 🐱

As we both work from home, we're able to provide full-time care and supervision, ensuring your pet always has company, attention, and comfort throughout the day. We provide walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and lots of affection every day. Whether your pet needs daycare, a short stay, or a longer stay ranging from one week to two months, we'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, happy, and truly at home while you're away. In our home, pets are treated like family and receive double the love, care, and attention from both of us. We understand that every dog is different, so we're happy to follow their usual routine, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise, and any special care requirements. We can't wait to meet your furry friend and give them a fun, loving, and stress-free experience! Please note: Exclusive 1-to-1 care is still available upon request, subject to availability. We both work from home, so there’s always an adult in the house. Pets are never left alone, and we adjust their care to match their usual routine. We have a fully fenced garden and plenty of room inside the house for pets to play, explore, and relax safely. We don’t have any pets of our own or young children, so your pets will have undivided attention and a calm, stress-free environment.

Chloe was absolutely amazing with our 12 week old Australian Shepherd Rosie. We had to ask at such short notice and Chloe really helped us out with a drop in visit. She came to visit Rosie prior to dropping in and we instantly knew that Chloe would be a great fit. Rosie is a puppy and is still learning but Chloe took it in her stride and did everything we needed to be done, you can see her love for animals! 💖 We are 100% going to be booking Chloe again and can’t wait to see Rosie become her little best friend. 🐶🐾

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was young, we’ve always had them as part of our family growing up and now I have a dog and two cats at home with us. I work from home so can be flexible on walks and can give your animals the time and care they deserve. I’m reliable and happy to do one off walks to longer term stays. I can administer medication and am used to dealing with puppies and different breeds. I work full time but from home so aslong as I have a internet connection then I can be home with your pet all day. I would usually head out for a couple of walks myself anyway each day so if you have a dog they would get plenty of exercise if needed. I can pop in for one off walks if you are in the office all day or your dog would also be welcome at ours with our enclosed garden and friendly olde English bulldog Bruce ( he is neutered) I can have dogs for the day or overnight/for a few days at home with me or drop in to their own home if that’s better for the dog. I’m here all the time as I work from home and we have an enclosed garden.

Sophie was absolutely incredible. Even though it was a last minute booking, she still made the time to come and meet Tiggy beforehand. Our cat is usually a shy boy with strangers, but she came in hand with treats and a plan which meant he had a great time playing and having fuss. Sophie truly goes above and beyond and I wouldn’t think twice about booking with her again. Sophie also encountered an issue with getting our front door to lock which in turn meant she stayed longer than the original booking, she was very patient and contacted me and ensured my property was secure before leaving. I huge thank you ❤️

There are 878 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Solihull. About 90% of Solihull sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
