About: We are Joe and Elise, a young professional couple, both in our late twenties. We have always lived with dogs until we moved into our own house four years ago. We used to regularly dog sit for family, but they moved away last summer. We still sporadically dog sit for friends either for the day or while they’re on holiday. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, so I’ve always been comfortable around them and genuinely enjoy their company. “Greta and her family were absolutely AMAZING with our border collie Monty! He was so happy and settled with them for the 10 days whilst we were away! This is the first time that we were unable to leave Monty with a family member due to everyone attending a wedding abroad in America, so we were nervous to do so. But the process of getting to know Greta and her family in the lead up to leaving Monty was such a pleasure! They took careful time to learn so much about Monty, he was so loved whilst with them, we were supplied with daily updates, photos and videos which meant we were constantly informed of Monty's adventures. The family matched his energy perfectly - it was almost as if he didn't want to leave and that is a testament to the families care and kindness! About: We have always had animals in our family dogs, cats, horses, rabbits. We recently lost our pet dog and are looking to make some fury friends for our animal obsessed children. I currently work part time, with one day off, 2 days in the office and 2 days working from home. I am flexible so can move working days around to suit, with notice. “We have never left our 4 year old German Shepherd before and were very hesitant in doing so but upon meeting Joy and her husband we were quickly reassured and felt very comfortable in leaving him with them both. We had daily updates of pictures and messages of Bears little holiday with them and these were welcomed each time. We did ask that Joy didn’t walk Bear for he is a very powerful dog but he had a lovely secure garden to play in which was great and also what we looked for. We will definitely be visiting Joy again and would recommend her totally. Both Joy and her husband were really lovely welcoming people and Bear was very happy there.
