About: I've been growing up with dogs, cats, cows, pigs and chickens since I was born. Always loved feeding them, giving them a bath, and a good brush after. Running & playing time would be my fav outdoor activity every day (the goodbyes will be very hard every time). All our family rescued many dogs and cats (especially stray ones) since ever remember. Now, while living in a flat for a little while and missing a lot having all my dogs and cats around, I want to make sure your little buddy gets all needed attention, love and care while you away or busy. I will always discuss every aspect beforehand to ensure your pet is well looked after in the best possible way 🐶🐱🐈🐕 I will always ask about your pet routine, special care, temperament to make sure your pet is having the best experience and you are not stressing out while away. Happy to share pic/videos and updates about how your buddy is doing. I'm currently working from home most of days and available for boarding evry week day after 4:30 pm and anytime during the weekend. What can you so more enjoyable disconnect from PC than spending time with a cleaver and sweet fur buddy :) Would love some exercise with good company too, like running outdoor, cuddling up, or sticking to a needed routine (bath, brush, walk, feed, etc) I have a flat with a semi closed balcony on 1st floor and plenty of green spaces around to keep walking, running, playing away from cars and crowd

About: I have kept dogs as a child and have been walking and boarding since October 2017. I have experience with small to large breeds and welcome males and females. I have many returners and provide a home-from-home experience. Boarders are taken for walks in my local parks in Solihull, which are tracked and photographed. I am a mature professional with grown up twins, who live away from home. This is my only job, so I am able to dedicate all of my time to your doggie whilst in my care. I enjoy walking and usually do 2-3km on one walk. I have worked as a senior manager and nurse in the NHS and enjoy meeting new pet owners. Pet care is my sole (and all time favourite!) job, so your pet will receive my devoted attention and I will always prioritise any petcare routines. My garden is very secure for dogs to enjoy games and roaming. I can be trusted in your own home caring for your pet (play/affection).
About: We have always had animals in our family dogs, cats, horses, rabbits. We recently lost our pet dog and are looking to make some fury friends for our animal obsessed children. I currently work part time, with one day off, 2 days in the office and 2 days working from home. I am flexible so can move working days around to suit, with notice. I have a fenced back garden and a large downstairs kitchen, living room area. We are happy to accommodate a crate in our living room.
About: My cockapoo Zenna has just turned one and she is an absolute delight! We go on adventures, walks and have loads of snuggles. I’ve relied on Rover and dog sitters a lot over the last year so I understand what it’s like to trust someone with your fur baby. Zenna and I live in a large apartment with space to play and crates/sofas to sleep on. We are close to local parks and woodland for fun walks and cafes for relaxing. I am able to dog sit or dog walk smaller to medium dogs that can cope with flights of stairs and get on well with my dog. My availability is Wednesdays, Fridays and weeekends. I work full time in the hospital over three days. I can do dog day care on Wednesdays or dog walking, day care or boarding all day Friday Saturday and Sunday. I have a large apartment with loads of toys and dog beds. No garden but access to greenery immediately outside but I go to local parks daily. Zenna is very friendly, she knows lots of other dogs and is happy to play or just ignore other dogs depending on how they connect.
“Perfect, good communication, trustworthy, did exactly what the dogs needed and they were obviously pleased to have seen her again. Thank you again for helping out and making sure the dogs are happy”

About: 🐾🩵🐾💛 Hi, I’m Sophie- your local friendly, experienced and fully insured pet sitter 🐾🩵🐾💛 I have lived my whole life surrounded by animals and have cared for a wide range of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish and reptiles. I offer pet sitting, dog walking and home visits and bring a wealth of experience, from young to older pets. Our home is full of animal love, with Bunny, our sweet French Bulldog, Balu our bouncy boxer puppy, and three sociable cats who are well used to sharing their space with others 😊 As a registered nurse, compassion, patience and attention to detail are second nature to me. I bring these same qualities to the care of every animal, ensuring they feel safe, calm, and loved always. I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I was once a pet owner using Rover, where I met an amazing sitter who has now become a friend. That has inspired me to offer the same level of care and peace of mind to others. My promise is : to treat every pet as if they are my own and provide a calm, loving, home from home environment so you can relax and enjoy regular photos and updates, knowing your fur babies are in safe hands. There is always someone at home to provide lots of attention, companionship, walks, feeding, playtime and reassurance. Every pet has their own personality, routine and needs and I take the time to get to know each one individually so they feel comfortable and secure while their humans are away. I will always aim to replicate their usual home routine as closely as possible. I want to make sure every pet feels settled, comfortable, safe and genuinely loved while they are here. I provide a safe, calm and loving home environment where pets are part of the family! My home is very pet friendly, with a large secure high walled garden, safety gates, lots of stimulating toys and a comfy crate for dogs who enjoy having their own cosy space, and a cat tree for climbing, relaxing and play. Cleanliness, safety, patience, and supervision are always a priority and I treat every animal as an individual- taking time to build trust, love and a genuine connection so they feel happy, secure and comfortable during their stay.
About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for cats, having raised and looked after multiple cats since I was a teenager. For the past 12 years, I have also worked as a pet sitter, looking after a variety of pets including cats, dogs, and small animals. I understand feline behaviour, routines, and health needs very well — including how to care for senior cats, administer basic medication, and recognise signs of stress or illness early. My experience as a sitter has also taught me how to adapt to different pets’ personalities and build trust quickly. My approach is calm, gentle, and patient. I treat every pet as if they were my own. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of animals’ emotional needs, especially for cats who may be shy, anxious, or elderly. I’m happy to offer regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind while they’re away. I am fluent in Cantonese (廣東話). I’m happy to communicate in whichever language you’re most comfortable with – perfect for Cantonese-speaking pet owners! I’m based in Solihull and offer flexible home visit services within an 6-mile radius (e.g Olton, Hall Green, Shirley, Kings Norton and Kings Heath). Feel free to message me to check availability in your area! My schedule is very flexible, and I’m happy to fit pet care around your needs. I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays — just let me know what works best for you, and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I always put safety and trust first when caring for pets. If I’m visiting your home, I will respect your space and follow all your instructions carefully – from feeding and cleaning to playtime and medication if needed. I keep the environment calm, clean, and stress-free for your pet. I also make sure doors and gates are securely closed, and I double-check everything before leaving. You’re welcome to provide any specific guidelines, and I’m happy to send photo or video updates for peace of mind.

Caring for my own dog has taught me the importance of patience, routine, exercise, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I’m reliable, responsible, and will treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. About: Hi I’m Louise I have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse for over 10 years now and have worked within the Veterinary industry for 20 years. In 2015 I gained my Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and in 2019 I gained my Post Graduate Nursing Certification in Anaesthesia. Within my 20 year’s experience I have worked in Referral hospitals, Charity hospitals, General practice, Emergency practices and have worked in a busy Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Brisbane Australia. To comply with the RCVS I keep my Nursing Registration by completing 15 hours yearly CPD and keeping up with regular Veterinary knowledge. I love caring for animals because I enjoy making them as happy and well looked after as I can whilst their owners are away or on holiday. As a previous pet owner I understand the concern when leaving your pet with somebody so I try and bring as much comfort to pet and owner as possible. I keep owners regularly updated throughout pet sits and am more than happy for owners to contact me during the pet sits whether that be message or call. I have my own car and am happy to take dogs in my care to nice dog friendly locations for a walk outside of their normal area if owners are happy. This year I have done pet sits for over 30 dogs, cats and small mammals so far and have had the pleasure of being able to stay in varied locations across the Midlands, it’s lovely to be able to go on dog walks in new places. I am fully insured. Able to provide references. On the RCVS Veterinary Nurses Register. In my spare time I love to travel, I’ve been able to travel all over the world backpacking solo and with friends, I love the freedom and exploring new places, and being able to have new experiences. A previous travel highlight was spending two months travelling across Japan which was absolutely beautiful. If I’m not looking after pets, nursing or travelling you will find me at an antiques fair or having a coffee in a new cafe somewhere. I have no pets of my own currently but have a lot of love to give to others pets. Previously I have owned a Border Terrier, a Jack Russell Terrier, 2 domestic short haired cats, a rabbit, 3 guinea pigs, 3 rats, 3 hamsters. To comply with the RCVS Veterinary Nursing Register I have to complete 15 hours of CPD (continuing professional development) in order to keep up with skills and knowledge in the Veterinary industry.

About: Loving, reliable dog carer with a natural connection to animals. Experienced with both energetic puppies and gentle senior dogs, including basic training and extra care for older pets. I treat every dog like my own—safe, happy, and well looked after. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I have a senior dog of my own and am used to providing consistent walks, feeding, and attentive care throughout the day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks, feeding, and drop-in visits, and I’m happy to work around each dog’s individual routine. Whether it’s an early walk, a midday check-in, or evening care, I aim to provide a calm, reliable presence for both you and your pet. I’m also available on weekends, offering consistent care seven days a week. Caring for a senior dog has made me especially patient, attentive, and mindful of each dog’s comfort and unique needs. I provide calm, attentive care tailored to each dog’s individual needs, whether in my home or the owner’s home. I take time to understand their routine, personality, and any specific requirements so they feel safe, comfortable, and settled. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to the dog’s usual routine, feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication or special care needed. I aim to keep everything as familiar and stress-free as possible. In my own home, I create a relaxed, safe environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. I ensure they have plenty of attention, regular walks, and a comfortable space to rest, while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m experienced with both puppies and senior dogs, so I can adapt my approach, whether that’s gentle training and structure for younger dogs, or extra patience, slower walks, and added comfort for older ones.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Solihull
Natalie walked our dog for us last minute when I had to go into the office at short notice. She came round to meet him before late at night to make sure she was fully prepped for the next day walk which we really appreciated. Lovely with our dog and followed the same reward/discipline we do with him which is helpful for consistency. Thank you x

Met Rachel for the first time at short notice and knew there was going to be no issues straight away as had a great conversation when she did a visit to meet us both. All comm's were great including report, photos and vids. Will definately be returning in the future as both dog and I were very happy. Thank you.
