“Just got back from a wonderful vacation, and before leaving Raqz for the first time with strangers we were apprehensive about putting him in kennels, so was recommended to use the rover app to find a sitter by a friend & luckily found Gemma and her family, after a few messages and one meeting it gave us the confidence to leave Raqz in their care. We were given photo & written updates on the various activities that he experienced during his stay which settled our concerns. Gemmas children also gave Raqz lots of attention which he loves and helped him settle into his new routine much more easily. We were asked plenty of questions around Raqz daily regimes so he could be kept in a familiar routine. All in all on collecting him he seems to have had a great holiday away from his regular family in exchange for a new family. Thoroughly recommend using Gemma and her whole family they make it a team event.”

About: I live in Digbeth, in the city centre, in an apartment close to a park. I can offer 3–4 walks a day, depending on what your dog needs. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, so I’ve always been comfortable around them and genuinely enjoy their company. I also have a little Yorkie girl of my own, who loves playing with other dogs and is very friendly. I’d be happy to look after your dog and make sure they feel comfortable, get plenty of walks and lots of attention while they’re with me. I work remotely, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pets throughout the day. I live close to a park, which makes it easy to fit in regular walks and outdoor time. I also don’t have any holiday plans for the next few weeks, so I’m available and happy to give your pet plenty of attention, care, and company. I’d love to make pet care a natural part of my daily routine! Pets will stay in my home, where I can give them plenty of attention and keep a close eye on them. I live near a park, so they’ll have easy access to regular walks and plenty of outdoor time. I’m also used to cooking for my own dog from time to time, so if your pet needs home-cooked food or has a specific diet, I’m happy to prepare their meals according to your instructions. I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, safe and well looked after while they’re with me.

“Paulina looked after our ‘old boy’ whilst we were far away on holiday. He was given lots of care, attention and love and seemed in no hurry to leave them when we went to collect him! Paulina was careful to follow our instructions about his diet, medication and funny little ways regarding walks, favourite treats (raw carrots, ice lollies) & coping with his separation anxiety. Paulina and her family ensured that one of them was always around for him to be close to and he settled down most contentedly.”

About: We are Joe and Elise, a young professional couple, both in our late twenties. We have always lived with dogs until we moved into our own house four years ago. We used to regularly dog sit for family, but they moved away last summer. We still sporadically dog sit for friends either for the day or while they’re on holiday. We miss regularly spending time with dogs, but aren’t in a position to get one currently. We would love to spend time and look after yours! We have no pets or children in our home. We both work from home and very rarely have meetings at the same time, so will always be able to let your dog out in the garden, and take them for walks throughout the day. We have a fenced garden and no other pets or children. We live in the centre of Moseley and have access to the private park, so will be able to take your dog out for quick walks or longer strolls throughout the day.

About: I lost my lab a few months ago, I adored her for many years. I am a genuine dog lover who really enjoys being around dogs. I’m reliable, caring and calm, and I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I’d love to build a friendship with a dog and their owner, whether that’s going for walks, having playtime, or simply keeping them company for a few hours. 🐶 I’m flexible and have plenty of time to spend with dogs, especially for walks, playtime and companionship. I’m generally available during weekdays and can arrange times around each owner’s needs. I’m happy to be flexible where I can and would love to make regular dog walking and sitting part of my routine. I’m a calm, patient and caring person who always puts an animal’s safety and comfort first. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routines, feeding instructions and walking preferences. I understand that every dog is different, so I take time to build trust and make them feel comfortable. Animals have always been a really positive part of my life, and I find spending time with them incredibly comforting and good for my mental wellbeing. I’d love to give your dog plenty of attention, exercise, affection and companionship while giving their owner peace of mind. 🐾❤️

“Greta and her family were absolutely AMAZING with our border collie Monty! He was so happy and settled with them for the 10 days whilst we were away! This is the first time that we were unable to leave Monty with a family member due to everyone attending a wedding abroad in America, so we were nervous to do so. But the process of getting to know Greta and her family in the lead up to leaving Monty was such a pleasure! They took careful time to learn so much about Monty, he was so loved whilst with them, we were supplied with daily updates, photos and videos which meant we were constantly informed of Monty's adventures. The family matched his energy perfectly - it was almost as if he didn't want to leave and that is a testament to the families care and kindness! I could not recommend Greta enough and would certainly leave Monty with Greta again - THANK YOU!”
