As a retiree and lifelong dog lover with over 10 years’ experience caring for Miniature Dachshunds, I understand that every dog is unique. That’s why I only welcome one guest dog at a time, allowing me to give them my full attention, plenty of affection, and a relaxed, stress-free stay. My home is a detached house with a secure private garden backing onto beautiful woodland, set in the peaceful surroundings of a golf course with wonderful nature walks right on the doorstep. With just two adults in the house, it’s a quiet environment that’s particularly well suited to older dogs, anxious or nervous dogs, or those who simply prefer a slower pace of life. Whether your dog enjoys gentle walks, playing in the garden, or snoozing on a comfy bed after a cuddle, they’ll be cared for as if they were my own. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and my goal is to make every stay as safe, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible—for both you and your dog. I look forward to welcoming your four-legged family member into our home. As I’m retired, your dog will be part of my daily routine and enjoy plenty of company throughout the day. Apart from a short trip to the gym, I’m home most of the time, so there’ll be lots of attention, cuddles, playtime, gentle walks, and time to relax in a calm, peaceful environment. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live in a quiet, detached home on a peaceful lane, with a fully enclosed, secure garden backing onto beautiful woodland. Surrounded by fields, nature walks, and a golf course, it’s the perfect setting for gentle adventures and relaxed days. With just my husband and me at home, it’s a calm, low-stress environment that’s especially well suited to older, nervous, or anxious dogs, giving them a safe and loving place to feel completely at home

About: I've always had dogs at home since childhood, recently lost my old border terrier and finding the place a bit quiet! Senior dogs well taken care of lots of patience here, also younger dogs make for more interesting walks! I WFH part time, so can easily fit in around visitors needs, up at 5 most days so plenty of time in the morning for walks etc, live near a large country park with plenty of space. I have a fenced garden with a small enclosure for my Tortoise, he's 19 years old and quite happy mooching around, my Dog Otie is quite friendly with visiting dogs and is good company, he also respects the need for personal space, we are quite accommodating!

About: l have taken care of dogs since l was 7. l love having a life with them. We are a family of 3, plus one Cavapoo (who migrated with us from Sydney Australia). We have been dog-sitting for the past 5 years. Your doggy will become part of our family while they are with us. Our apartment is large with plenty of space for your dog to chill out in. I'm a early childhood practitioner, l am going to walk your dog in the morning (8 am)and in the afternoon when l come home after work (4:30 pm) with our own Cavapoo who is kind-natured and friendly. I can provide constant attention and care for your little one while keeping you updated. Your pet will feel at home, be pampered, and be looked after. l walk them 1-2 times per day and there is plenty of time for play and cuddles. We live in a big apartment in Dickens Heath and a kind-natured Cavapoo doggy to keep your dog company. Dogs can sleep wherever they want. On our couches or bed, just next to our dog :)

Would highly recommend Demi. She was very welcoming upon arrival and showing round the house and advising how she decompress Luna and get her settled in. Sent regular updates including photos/videos whilst we were away. And when picking Luna up advised how she was and how she settled in very quickly, which would could tell from the photos shared, as well as how happy Luna was after the stay. Will definitely use Demi again for any future stays.
We needed a sitter for our 2 dogs very last min and we found Greg & Sophie. Last min they arranged a meet and greet and we’ve never had a sitter before, so was anxious but they made the process so easy and simple and kept us updated throughout. I would highly recommend them❤️ The pups had a great time and were so looked after. Couldn’t thank them enough

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
