About: I’ve taken care of a range of dogs over the last few years, from a super cute and cuddly cockapoo to a slightly stubborn but adorable staffy. I have the most experience with my own family dog who is almost 6 years old, which I take a lot of responsibility for. I am available for dog walks, pop-ins to check up on your dog, as well as house-sitting for your dog. I know how your dog is another member of the family, and I will be sure to take care of them like they are my own! I am currently a university student working part time, with the break for summer I have a lot more free time and availability on my hands. I've spent the last four years studying Animal Care—two years in high school and two years in college. I'll follow your instructions carefully, keep your pet's routine consistent, make sure they receive lots of attention and affection, and keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I grew up with dogs in the home, even spent a few years on farmland, so I have experience with dogs ranging from a chihuahua or jack russell all the way up to big huskies and labradours. Having grown up with them I'd like to say my intuition is good when it comes to dogs, In particular I'm good at correcting little things like pulling too hard on a walk, or being too boisterous when playing. But my main concern is actually just to make sure the dogs have a good time, my view of it is I'll correct them if they do something wrong but ultimately I'm not here to be a dictator to them either. I'm also quite calm and patient, so if there is a dog who has troubling behaviour at times, I'm happy to work with that. Not currently working, my dream job is actually to be a teacher, I have 4 going on 5 years experience working with kids, but obviously its not always easy to get a non temporary job in that industry at my age. I'm relatively free, but I like to have a good idea of when I'm doing X thing. I'm happy to work around your own schedule if anything changes, within reason. If something important comes up, no worries, or if you give me an hour or twos notice, thats also fine. I do travel on a bike though, and when discussing availability I will have to factor that in. Unfortunately I live in a flat so I wont be doing any pet care in my home. I have done pet care at the owners home before, so i have experience. I'm happy to take on board anything the owner wants of me while I'm in their home, and I always do what I can to leave the house/garden the way I found it

About: I’m a qualified veterinary nurse who wants to ensure your fur babies are comfortable, fed and loved and cuddled whilst their parents are away! As a full-time veterinary nurse, I work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am–7pm, with one in seven weekends. This means I’m available for evening visits on weekdays, and I have regular availability for weekends, Tuesdays and most weekends for longer stays. I’ll always keep my calendar up to date so you know exactly when I’m available. Your pet’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first. As a qualified veterinary nurse, I’m experienced in recognising signs that a pet may be unwell and I’m confident caring for pets with different personalities, ages and medical needs. I always respect each pet’s boundaries, never force interaction, and take time to build their trust. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed, secure and loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 12 years now, starting with a gorgeous black Lab and we are now overrun with Pugs! I foster for a Pug Rescue charity and currently have 3 Pugs and a chocolate Labrador. I’ve previously cared for a senior dog who was incontinent, and one of our fosters has mobility issues so am experienced there. I own a dog pushchair so if you have a senior dog who might get tired, I can bring it along! My own Labrador is dog reactive, so I’ve had a lot of 1-1 training on how to manage this. I currently work Tues to Thurs, but am free Mondays, Fridays and weekends. I am happy to try and shuffle things around with a bit of notice. I will be respectful of your home and whatever rules and routines you have in place for your dog. If doing a drop in visit I am happy to pick up poo, play and feed, and have cuddles!

About: Dogs are part of my life. Each dog/pet has their own personality. I have always had dogs in my home and taken care of other people’s dogs and animals. I have assisted owners when training dogs for show competitions and for obedience dog training. I have brought up most of my dogs from 9 weeks old. I have also adopted many dogs of all different ages and breeds and sizes from puppies to mature dogs. The dogs sleep on my bed if need be. I can walk or run with the dog/s. I enjoy walking dogs and being outdoors and exploring different parks and spaces. I have a car if your dog needs to be driven to another place. I work part time from home so have time to give your dog/s all the love and care required. I can also collect you dog/s and drop off if need be. I have a fenced yard and if your dog needs to be in a crate I can help with that as well, or any training. There’s a huge open field next to my house so no need to walk on the roads.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my family, a boxer and a golden retriever, and have taken care of them by feeding, walking, washing and playing with them. I have visited family members homes to feed their pets and check up on them when they are not present. On occasions I have done pet sitting with some of my friends for one of their relatives. I have been around all ages of dogs, handling their hyper moments and quieter ones too. Currently a University student home for the summer. I’m completely flexible with hours and days to take care of your pets and give them the exercise they need. Safety - when walking my dog I use a fixed leash and harness in order to keep them from wandering too far, especially when other dog walkers are nearby. On longer walks I always take a bottle of water with me for my dog and allow them to rest in the shade. I am aware of other people and animals when taking my dog on a walk, only letting them off when I’m in a quieter area as not to disturb others. Trust - I will keep owners updated on our walks, communicating effectively their pets behaviour and any problems that might have occurred. Environment - Although living on a busy road, I am not far from a park where there are large fields and paths for my dog to walk and explore, taking them there for long walks in the summer. Near my house there are also shorter routes that are near grassy areas. All these areas are popular for dog walkers.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all around and absolutely love them, the past year I have worked for a dog walking company. But would like more freedom and have decided to go out on my own. I’m currently doing a canine behaviours course, to give me a better understanding of why a dog could be reactive in a certain way and different ways to help them if I’m the right fit for the dog. I’m currently in the process of making my own dog walking company, I absolutely love going out on walks and being outside. And when you can combine that with a love of dogs, it makes the perfect job. I’m doing little jobs here and there so I can spend most of my time building something for myself, while doing my behaviour course. While doing a sit depending on what you would be wanting in the day, I will be with your pet from 6:30 till 8am the next morning. This way your pup will have plenty of company and can keep their evening routine. Depending on what your pups need I can also hire a secure field, so they can still get a good run around.

About: Since I was a kid I’ve always grew up with dogs of my own and my nans always had dogs who I’ve always seen multiple times a week. I’ve had dogs from all types of breeds from GSD, Staffs, Labs, English Terrier, Scottie’s, Jack Russel etc. I am pet first aid trained so rest assured your loved ones are safe with me. I will love and treat every animal like one of my own with lots of cuddles and attention but alternatively if your pet is more independent then I am happy to give them space.
