About: Hi, I'm Alex, an 18-year-old animal lover based in Redditch with a genuine passion for caring for pets of all kinds. I've spent the last four years studying Animal Care—two years in high school and two years in college. I recently achieved my Level 1 Animal Care Certificate with a Distinction and will be continuing my studies with the Level 1 Animal Care Diploma in September. I'm always eager to expand my knowledge and provide the best possible care for every animal I meet. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have my own dog, Millie, who is my best friend and whom I trained myself. I also regularly help care for my auntie's German Shepherd/Mastiff cross, giving me experience with larger breeds. In addition, I own a leopard gecko, Arlo, so I'm comfortable caring for reptiles as well as dogs and other pets. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs. Pet care fits well into my daily routine, and I am committed to providing reliable, attentive care for every pet I look after. At the moment, I am available any day from **10:00 AM to 9:00 PM**. From September, when I return to college, I will be in college 3–4 days a week. On those days, I will still be available for evening pet sitting from around **6:00–7:00 PM onwards**. On my days off, I am available from **10:00 AM to 8:00 PM**. Please note that I will be unavailable from **7th August to 21st August** due to a pre-booked holiday. Outside of those dates, I am flexible and happy to work with you to meet your pet's needs whenever possible. I have been caring for my own dog, Millie, since I was 12 years old. I trained her myself, with some support from puppy training classes, which gave me a great understanding of positive reinforcement, patience, and building trust with dogs. I am responsible for feeding her, making sure she always has fresh water, administering her flea and worming treatments, providing daily exercise, enrichment, and plenty of love and companionship. I understand how important it is to stick to a pet's usual routine, as this helps them feel safe and comfortable. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I will treat them as if they were my own. I'll follow your instructions carefully, keep your pet's routine consistent, make sure they receive lots of attention and affection, and keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I’m a qualified veterinary nurse who wants to ensure your fur babies are comfortable, fed and loved and cuddled whilst their parents are away! As a full-time veterinary nurse, I work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am–7pm, with one in seven weekends. This means I’m available for evening visits on weekdays, and I have regular availability for weekends, Tuesdays and most weekends for longer stays. I’ll always keep my calendar up to date so you know exactly when I’m available. Your pet’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first. As a qualified veterinary nurse, I’m experienced in recognising signs that a pet may be unwell and I’m confident caring for pets with different personalities, ages and medical needs. I always respect each pet’s boundaries, never force interaction, and take time to build their trust. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed, secure and loved while you’re away.

I’ve worked with everything from rescued wildlife to domestic pets, and I bring the same patience, empathy, and professionalism to every animal I look after. Animals with unique personalities, quirks, or special requirements are my favourite to work with. I’m calm, confident, and experienced in reading behaviour, building trust, and creating a safe, positive environment for every animal in my care. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my priority. I follow routines closely, keep stress low, and make sure your pet feels secure and understood while you’re away. I'm currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets! I can adapt to what you or your animal needs, whether that be active and explorative, or couch potato cuddlin'. My home is calm, secure, and dog-friendly, with a fenced garden and plenty of indoor space. I live in a two-bedroom house, so dogs can have their own quiet area if they need space to settle or decompress. About: I’ve been a pet owner for 12 years now, starting with a gorgeous black Lab and we are now overrun with Pugs! I foster for a Pug Rescue charity and currently have 3 Pugs and a chocolate Labrador. I’ve previously cared for a senior dog who was incontinent, and one of our fosters has mobility issues so am experienced there. I own a dog pushchair so if you have a senior dog who might get tired, I can bring it along! My own Labrador is dog reactive, so I’ve had a lot of 1-1 training on how to manage this. I currently work Tues to Thurs, but am free Mondays, Fridays and weekends. I am happy to try and shuffle things around with a bit of notice. I will be respectful of your home and whatever rules and routines you have in place for your dog. If doing a drop in visit I am happy to pick up poo, play and feed, and have cuddles!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my family, a boxer and a golden retriever, and have taken care of them by feeding, walking, washing and playing with them. I have visited family members homes to feed their pets and check up on them when they are not present. On occasions I have done pet sitting with some of my friends for one of their relatives. I have been around all ages of dogs, handling their hyper moments and quieter ones too. Currently a University student home for the summer. I’m completely flexible with hours and days to take care of your pets and give them the exercise they need. Safety - when walking my dog I use a fixed leash and harness in order to keep them from wandering too far, especially when other dog walkers are nearby. On longer walks I always take a bottle of water with me for my dog and allow them to rest in the shade. I am aware of other people and animals when taking my dog on a walk, only letting them off when I’m in a quieter area as not to disturb others. Trust - I will keep owners updated on our walks, communicating effectively their pets behaviour and any problems that might have occurred. Environment - Although living on a busy road, I am not far from a park where there are large fields and paths for my dog to walk and explore, taking them there for long walks in the summer. Near my house there are also shorter routes that are near grassy areas. All these areas are popular for dog walkers.

About: We have always had dogs in our family, I am experienced in looking after puppies, to dogs that get nervous etc. Since moving in with my partners family due to allergies we are unable to have dogs in the home. So I thought why not offer to look after other people’s dogs! I am home 24/7 currently, and looking to build up my portfolio on Rover. Any furry friends that come into my care will be waited on like royalty! Every dog can have different triggers/needs. Ensuring the dog has a safe space they can go to is vital, and also making sure any dangerous/harmful objects are out of reach, as I have first hand experience of a curious personality that knows no better!

It is important for me to provide a hole from home experience with the same rules. Bring your dogs favourite blanket toys. I am respectful when going to meet a dog for the first time, getting to know owners and dogs backgrounds and needs.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and fed and cleaned up after cats of all ages for friends and family while they went away. I have a dog of my own and love walking. I’m available for drop in visits to feed and clean up after cats or dogs throughout the day and at weekends. I can also walk your dog on weekdays or weekends. I can feed your cat and sort out the cat litter tray. I can play with the cat for a while if they would like that. I can walk your dog various lengths of time to suit your dog.

About: Animals are a big part of my life. I’ve had many animals in my life and have experience working with animals such as dogs, cats and rabbits, through my volunteering at an animal sanctuary, and my job at a Staffie rescue. I have 1 dog (an American bulldog), a cat, crested gecko and snails. I love seeing new animals and it would be great meeting all kinds of new breeds. I think I would make a great pet walker/ sitter as I would care for your pets just as I care for my own animals as I understand that your pets are your family. Being an animal lover all I would like to do is let your animals have a great walk or stay in their own home and I hope to do that! I am currently working part time at a Staffie rescue which means I have plenty of time to look after your animals too! My working hours tend to be 7am-12pm so I can work around those a lot of the time and I only work a couple days a week. I can provide dog walking, sitting and cat sitting. Cat sitting involves a few visits a day to make sure they are fed and to provide cuddles. Dog sitting includes staying in the home to provide all the attention the dog needs and includes walks.
