“Niamh was a great help in walking my labrador whilst I had to visit London for the day for work. We will definitley use her again when we need to. Niamh made herself available to meet us before hand, she was incredibly freindly and clearly has a love for animals. An amazing pair of hands.”

“Danny saved the day when I was poorly and on short notice I booked him to walk Frankie, I received photos and videos of their walk and Frankie seemed to be very happy in his company 🤗”

“Trusting a stranger with your dog, personally for me , was quite an anxious experience. However, when Julie came round to visit Phoenix, I felt reassured and knew hundred percent that she was the one for Phoenix. Clearly, she has a love for dogs and from the communication I could tell that she had a lot of experience. Julie goes above and beyond and my dog loves going for walks with her. He has a great time and I can see this from the photos. I wouldn’t use anyone else.”

“Super care of my Eliza from Marina, who is friendly and very caring. She’s extremely professional providing updates on each walk, with amount of toilet stops, photos and videos. We very grateful to her for the wonderful care she provided and how she recognised what Eliza needed on each walk. Definitely recommend Marina thank you so very much 🫶🏻”

About: There is a saying that resonates with me quite strongly - our pets are a chapter in our lives, but we are their whole book. Making our animals lives the most fulfilling they can be is very important to me. I’ve had all sorts of pets since the day I can remember. Dogs, cats, hamsters, even gerbils! Looking after pets of any kind brings me a sense of fulfilment, and there isn’t a moment I don’t enjoy. I recently left my retail job, as it wasn’t bringing me fulfilment, and working with people isn’t my forte due to my neurodiversity. As such, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets, as short or as long as you might need it! Whether you just need someone to walk your pooch, drop in, or stay for a longer period of time, I’ll be there! (Honestly, the longer I can stay with them, the better!) As I currently don’t have the space required for onboarding animals, I cannot offer that as a service. However, during stays to your home, I can offer do anything that would make you the most comfortable. Hourly check-ins via messaging, walks at certain times, and if they need crating or a little training, I’m happy to do that as well.
About: I have always had pets since a young age, and often looked after them, along with helping my family when they have needed me to look after their own, both puppy and senior for long and short periods. I am currently a student looking to fill my holidays with helping pet owners the best I can. I can provide drop-ins, dog walks, and house sits when needed to make you and your pets lives the easiest and happiest it can be. As a student, I have long holidays where I can be available throughout the day to come and assist your needs. I can provide pet care throughout these times on weekdays and weekends where necessary. I have multiple dogs at home that I regularly look after and give love to. When caring for your pet, I like to give attention, love, and keep them company throughout the time needed.

“At short notice due to illness I wasn't well enough to take my cockapoo for a walk today so I booked Maisie H and I'm very great full that she was able to help me out 😊”

About: I am a reliable and caring dog lover with many years of hands-on experience. I have owned and cared for dogs since the age of 14, giving me a strong understanding of their needs, behaviour, and wellbeing. I offer dog walking and dog sitting services, ensuring your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while in my care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and am committed to providing a safe, happy, and trustworthy service. Although I don't currently have a dog of my own, this is mainly due to having a large family and the commitments that come with it. However, I have owned and cared for dogs since I was 14 and genuinely miss having them around. We have also donated to the charity Guide Dogs for many years. Caring for dogs brings me a lot of enjoyment, which is why I offer dog walking and pet sitting services. Part of the week, my blended family stays with their other parent, which gives me plenty of free time, flexibility, and attention to dedicate to caring for pets. This means I can provide dogs with the companionship, exercise, and care they need in a safe and loving environment. I can prioritise walks before and after work and I work from home twice per week where I can ensure pets receive consistent care, exercise, and affection within your home or mine. I am available for walks and check ins, doggy daycare within your home or mine and overnight stays (mainly weekends) where possible. Please connect with me to ask about availability as I can try to accommodate outside of my calendar schedule. I provide a safe, calm, and caring environment for all pets in my care. Whether caring for pets in my home or in the owner's home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication requirements, and any specific instructions. I ensure pets have plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision, while keeping their environment clean, secure, and comfortable. Building trust with both pets and owners is very important to me, and I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own.

I ensure they are fit and well, and I report any concerns I have about the pets and ensure they are clean and happy. This is such as washing bowls, cleaning litter trays etc.
About: I grew up with dogs and have dog sat many times. I have completed puppy training classes and looked after senior dogs too, both happily. I work full time in town but I have evenings and weekends free to help you where I can! I am available 6-9pm daily and would happily spend that with dogs! I own a lovely Victorian home close to the river which is full of character but not precious. I have an enclosed garden and lovely neighbours.
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats because of my mom being a pet groomer, therefore I have always been surrounded by animals! From a Cane-Corso to a Yorkshire Terrier and even rescues, I can adapt to your pets needs. I am a strong walker. I can feed, train, give medicine and most of all, lots of cuddles! I am available! I enjoy figuring out pet personalities because they can be quite funny. I really miss my dogs back home so would be nice to care for and accompany your pets. I will love them like my own! We have a fenced back yard, but poos and wees will 100% be out on walks. There are so many local fields and parks here and I cannot wait to show them all the p-mail spots they haven’t sniffed out yet!
“Hugo is not used to people in his home but Jennifer has put him at ease very quickly and he is happy to have her walk him. This is reassuring for us while we are out at work to have someone to walk Hugo and give him the exercise and cuddles he needs when we are not able to.”

About: I grew up with pets including cats, dogs, rabbits and hamsters. From the age of 15 I started helping families around my town with walking their dogs and looking after their pets while they were away I’m currently a student who’s only in for a maximum of 3 hours a day so have plenty of time to be flexible and work around what works you! I look after pets in their own home to keep them relaxed and stress free while you’re away. I stick to their normal routine, keep a close eye on their safety, and make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you know they’re happy.
About: Recently, after trying to find a home from home for our beautiful Labrador whilst we are in holiday, we realised and experienced just how difficult it is to find local availability to offer the personalised and affectionate service we desired for our girl. We have never been a fan or open to the idea of kennels where our fur baby sleeps outside on her own and without human interaction which she loves so dearly. We want kind and caring pet lovers to share their home with our beautiful fur baby. That's why we've decided to sign up and offer our service to share our home and love with other peoples beloved fur babies so that they can enjoy their holidays and time away from home, without worrying about the safety, care and happiness of their babies. We are lucky enough to work from home 4 days a week and on the one day we aren't at home our beautiful Labrador has a professional dog walker to take her out and care for her needs. We get out walking at least twice a day and have lots of time for cuddles and mental stimulation in between. We have a large, secured garden and access to a big green space just behind the house. Our 14 month old Labrador is fully house and crate trained but she is left to roam free during the day and we constantly keep an eye on her.
About: Hello! I love looking after dogs and have been on Rover since August 2022. I have experience with pet dogs, cats, guinea pigs and pet rats. I am able to do check in visits for cats and small animals and may be able board small pets. I have experience with senior dogs and dogs with mild medical issues. I am available throughout the day for dog sitting and walks. I usually take the dogs boarding with me for walks in the morning and evening. I have a fenced paved back garden. I usually walk the dogs in the morning and evening as that fits better with my schedule and helps reduce the chances of toilet accidents. Dogs are allowed downstairs in the kitchen and sitting room. I don't have a crate but there is room for one in the kitchen if you use one. There is a gate on the stairs so they can't go upstairs. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. Dogs aren't allowed upstairs or in my bedroom as I have pet fancy rats upstairs. The dogs cannot get to the pet rats, but may be able to hear or smell them which sometimes can make them quite agitated, which is something to bear in mind. I often look after my mum's dog Marvin who is a spayed male Labrador. He is very friendly but if he is staying while your dog is, I like to do a meet up with him so that I can make sure they will get along. I only walk dogs on the lead.
“Would definitely recommend. Leo our pup really enjoyed his walk with Charlie Louise. Great communication and very flexible with times. Sent lovely pictures from the walks, showing one very happy dog. Thanks again, will be in touch soon.”

I contacted Niamh at short notice to cover 3 days of walks, great communication through the app, she called in the same day to go through the arrangements for home access, feeding etc. Molly loved her. Will definitely use her again in the future. Thanks again Mark

Stephanie was a great help when I had to be away from home longer than I like to leave Frankie on his own. Stephanie kept me updated on arrival, photos of the walk and how much Frankie enjoyed it. She's very reliable and I will definitely be asking her again 😀
