About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was 5 years old, within a family revolving around guide dogs. I’ve joined in with training guide dog puppies and taken many dog walks over the years. Now having moved away from home I miss the daily interaction with dogs! I work full time as a physiotherapist but have evenings and weekends free to care for your pets. I live with my partner who has an equal love for dogs and has more time on his hands, so would be keen to help out where needed! I live in a terraced house with a small garden in the centre of Worcester, a very short distance to the river, with many options nearby for areas for your pets to have a good run around!

About: I am a reliable and caring dog lover with many years of hands-on experience. I have owned and cared for dogs since the age of 14, giving me a strong understanding of their needs, behaviour, and wellbeing. I offer dog walking and dog sitting services, ensuring your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while in my care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and am committed to providing a safe, happy, and trustworthy service. Although I don't currently have a dog of my own, this is mainly due to having a large family and the commitments that come with it. However, I have owned and cared for dogs since I was 14 and genuinely miss having them around. We have also donated to the charity Guide Dogs for many years. Caring for dogs brings me a lot of enjoyment, which is why I offer dog walking and pet sitting services. Part of the week, my blended family stays with their other parent, which gives me plenty of free time, flexibility, and attention to dedicate to caring for pets. This means I can provide dogs with the companionship, exercise, and care they need in a safe and loving environment. I can prioritise walks before and after work and I work from home twice per week where I can ensure pets receive consistent care, exercise, and affection within your home or mine. I am available for walks and check ins, doggy daycare within your home or mine and overnight stays (mainly weekends) where possible. Whether caring for pets in my home or in the owner's home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication requirements, and any specific instructions. I ensure pets have plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision, while keeping their environment clean, secure, and comfortable. Building trust with both pets and owners is very important to me, and I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own.

About: Hi! I'm Alex, I run my own independent pet care services, and I'm thrilled to be providing my services here on Rover too! I've spent most of my life caring for animals, all of it adoring them, and for the last four years I've also been helping others with care for their pets. Currently I live with four pets, two of whom are medically complex, so I know how scary it can be entrusting your pet to somebody else. Every pet is unique, and I'll always do all I can to make you feel as reassured about their care as possible. I have experience administering medication, working with small mammals and reptiles, and caring for dogs with an array of different needs (including help with separation anxiety) among other things. I'm DBS checked, level 3 pet first aid certified, independently insured and I can provide as many references as you need in order to feel at ease. I offer solo and group dog walking, secure dog paddock enrichment hours, check-ins for cats, small mammals, small reptiles and dogs, and overnight and daytime pet sitting, and if you have a request that's not strictly one of those, I'd be more than happy to work something out with you. A little about me - I grew up watching Animal Planet and reading nothing but animal rescue books, had guinea pigs for most of my childhood, and even now my social media is mostly dog training and animal rescue! (PS - tell your pet I said hi! ♥) Caring for animals fits seamlessly into my current routine, as I'm free most days and walking the dogs is always one of the highlights! I'm within walking distance of many great natural spaces, and taking your dog along for the adventure would fit in perfectly. Living with two medically complex pets means I know how scary it can be entrusting your pet to somebody else, so I want to know every detail and make you feel as reassured about their care as possible. I work closely with every pet parent to make sure their pet's needs are completely fulfilled and everyone feels at ease. Meeting your pet where they're at is the most important thing to me, whether that's big long walks with lots of play for energetic dogs or simply being a reassuring presence for shy cats.

About: There is a saying that resonates with me quite strongly - our pets are a chapter in our lives, but we are their whole book. Making our animals lives the most fulfilling they can be is very important to me. I’ve had all sorts of pets since the day I can remember. Dogs, cats, hamsters, even gerbils! Looking after pets of any kind brings me a sense of fulfilment, and there isn’t a moment I don’t enjoy. I recently left my retail job, as it wasn’t bringing me fulfilment, and working with people isn’t my forte due to my neurodiversity. As such, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets, as short or as long as you might need it! Whether you just need someone to walk your pooch, drop in, or stay for a longer period of time, I’ll be there! (Honestly, the longer I can stay with them, the better!) As I currently don’t have the space required for onboarding animals, I cannot offer that as a service. However, during stays to your home, I can offer do anything that would make you the most comfortable. Hourly check-ins via messaging, walks at certain times, and if they need crating or a little training, I’m happy to do that as well.

I work part-time, which means I have plenty of flexible hours throughout the day to give your pet proper attention — not rushed, not squeezed in. Your pet's safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities — always. I adapt to your pet's routine, not mine. Feeding times, walk schedules, bedtimes — I follow your script so your pet feels minimal disruption. I keep your home secure — doors locked, windows closed, alarms set exactly as you leave them. I'll send you a quick text whenever I arrive and leave. I'm tidy and respectful — I clean up after myself, wipe my feet, wash any bowls I use, and leave your space exactly as I found it (or tidier). No strangers — I never bring guests, friends, or other pets into your home. It's just me and your pet. Emergency-ready — I have your vet's number, your emergency contact, and a clear plan for accidents, escapes, or illness. I also carry a basic pet first aid kit in my bag.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have grown up around dogs and cats. I’ve cared for multiple Border Collies over the years, including having them stay with me, and I’ve also looked after French Bulldogs and Grey Hounds. I had a Border Collie and a mixed breed golden retriever of my own when I was younger, so I understand how much love, attention and care dogs need. I’ve always wanted a dog of my own, but with my current working hours, I’m not able to give one the time and attention they deserve. That’s why I’ve decided to become a pet sitter — it gives me the opportunity to spend time with dogs, give them lots of love and care, and hopefully give owners peace of mind while they’re away. I’ll treat every pet as if they were my own! 🐾❤️ I work full-time, but I have two days off each week and my days off vary depending on my rota. I’m happy to plan bookings around my work schedule and can dedicate my days off to caring for your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-ins and I’d also be happy to look after your animals for the full day when needed. I’m very flexible and will always make sure your pets receive plenty of care, attention and love. I am aware that every pet has its own routine and things that they prefer so I’m happy to work around all needs. I wouldn’t let any dog off leash unless it’s safe to do so.

About: I've grown up in a countryside surrounded by pets and animals of all kind. Since I was a child I adored and took care of our fur friends, treating them like part of a family. Often taking care of friends and family's pets, trying to teach them some tricks and making sure they getting all the attention, quality time and entertainment they need. I've also volunteered in Thailand in rescued animals sanctuary where I cared daily for rescued dogs, cats and wild animals. It included feeding, walking, cleaning, playing, showering and socializing puppies. Some of these animals were disabled or had special needs so I had to have a very individual approach to every single one. I'm available most mornings and evenings, including weekends and bank holidays. I work as self employed so I can organize my schedule to meet owners' needs. While doing walks with dogs or pet sitting at home I always consider their health and needs, also owners advices/tips while choosing if this should be more of an active or peaceful time for older/ill/disabled pets. Every pet is different so I have individual approach to each one I get to know and care for. I trust that the owner will provide all the necessary information when trusting me with their cat/dog, so I can care for them as best as I can considering their health, needs and preferences.

About: I have had a lot of experience with dog and cat sitting before, including dog walks and feeding them, ensuring cleanliness and ensuring to keep them company! I offer only very limited spaces so that every dog has true individual attention and constant companionship and I limit the size of the dogs to under 10kg . I am dog first aid trained and qualified in animal welfare and behaviour as well as basic agility … It is a stressful situation leaving your dog with someone other than family , so I understand the anxiousness this can cause and therefore prior to taking a booking I always invite everyone to come and meet me and see what I’m Offering . I then arrange a free of charge ( no obligation) familiarisation stay so your dog can decide if they are comfortable with me . I am Inspected by the council and comply with all the necessary regulations ,and emergency protocols , so you can rest assured your insurance will be valid if your dog stays with me. All dogs in my care have unlimited access to my garden , two daily individual walks , enrichment play and off lead time in a secure field . They have a choice of where they sleep and play and have quiet areas should they wish . This is not just a job for me , it is a vocation and I therefore devote 100% of my time 24/7 365 days a year to the dogs that stay with me . Our dogs are precious to all of us and therefore it is important to give your dog into the care of duly trained, insured , certified and registered boarders . The dogs in my care are my focus & priority I do not do “ other jobs” and the dogs are never left alone - as per my 5* higher care provider licence 23/000384 ANIACT . The house is a safe , relaxed and quiet home from home ( no children ) For safety I have exterior double entry/ exit gates , cctv , gps tracker tags, interior baby gates , fire safety and emergency protocols with extinguishers , monoxide detectores , temperature control monitors .i use council approved disinfectants for twice daily cleaning and have a separate area for medical care . For safety all Arrivals and departures are by appointment only. For my senior guests I have a visiting veterinary nurse for well being checks and nails and tails checks . I also have a visiting dog groomer who can be pre booked for glamorous grooming . My day starts at 5.30am with comfort breaks, cleaning of all areas , morning walk and then breakfast the day is planned according to each dogs individual needs . Dogs have two individual walks per day and off lead playtime in a secure local field . I do not pack walk or use extender leads . Safety is a priority and therefore dogs in my care wear a gps tracker when out walking . Dog care is my life and I’m 100% committed to providing a truly superior bespoke service .

About: Hello! I love looking after dogs and have been on Rover since August 2022.I have lots of experience with pet dogs as I have had dogs most of my life, as well as experience with cats, guinea pigs and pet rats. I have experience with senior dogs and dogs with mild medical issues. I am available throughout the day for dog sitting and walks. I usually take the dogs boarding with me for walks in the morning and evening. I have a fenced paved back garden. I usually walk the dogs in the morning and evening as that fits better with my schedule and helps reduce the chances of toilet accidents. Dogs are allowed downstairs in the kitchen and sitting room. I don't have a crate but there is room for one in the kitchen if you use one. There is a gate on the stairs so they can't go upstairs. Dogs are allowed on the sofa. I have fans and blinds to keep the room cool for them but no AC. Dogs aren't allowed upstairs or in my bedroom as I have pet fancy rats upstairs. The dogs cannot get to the pet rats. I don't have a pet dog myself but I often look after my mum's dog Hugo who is an older spayed male Labrador. He is very friendly but if he is staying while your dog is, I like to do a meet up with him so that I can make sure they will get along. I only walk dogs on the lead. There is parking at the back of my house.
