About: Hi! I'm Alex, I run my own independent pet care services, and I'm thrilled to be providing my services here on Rover too! I've spent most of my life caring for animals, all of it adoring them, and for the last four years I've also been helping others with care for their pets. Currently I live with four pets, two of whom are medically complex, so I know how scary it can be entrusting your pet to somebody else. Every pet is unique, and I'll always do all I can to make you feel as reassured about their care as possible. I have experience administering medication, working with small mammals and reptiles, and caring for dogs with an array of different needs (including help with separation anxiety) among other things. I'm DBS checked, independently insured and I can provide as many references as you need in order to feel at ease. I offer solo and group dog walking, secure dog paddock enrichment hours, check-ins for cats, small mammals, small reptiles and dogs, and overnight and daytime pet sitting, and if you have a request that's not strictly one of those, I'd be more than happy to work something out with you. A little about me - I grew up watching Animal Planet and reading nothing but animal rescue books, had guinea pigs for most of my childhood, and even now my social media is mostly dog training and animal rescue! You can rest assured your pet will kept safe, treated kindly and absolutely doted on in my care. (PS - tell your pet I said hi! ♥) Caring for animals fits seamlessly into my current routine, as I'm free most days and walking the dogs is always one of the highlights! I'm within walking distance of many great natural spaces, and taking your dog along for the adventure would fit in perfectly. I work closely with every pet parent to make sure their pet's needs are completely fulfilled, so they and their pet feels safe. Meeting your pet where they're at is the most important thing to me, whether that's big long walks for energetic dogs or simply being a reassuring presence for shy cats. Living with two medically complex pets means I know how scary it can be entrusting your pet to somebody else, so I want to know every detail and make you feel as reassured about their care as possible.

About: There is a saying that resonates with me quite strongly - our pets are a chapter in our lives, but we are their whole book. Making our animals lives the most fulfilling they can be is very important to me. I’ve had all sorts of pets since the day I can remember. Dogs, cats, hamsters, even gerbils! Looking after pets of any kind brings me a sense of fulfilment, and there isn’t a moment I don’t enjoy. I recently left my retail job, as it wasn’t bringing me fulfilment, and working with people isn’t my forte due to my neurodiversity. As such, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets, as short or as long as you might need it! Whether you just need someone to walk your pooch, drop in, or stay for a longer period of time, I’ll be there! (Honestly, the longer I can stay with them, the better!) As I currently don’t have the space required for onboarding animals, I cannot offer that as a service. However, during stays to your home, I can offer do anything that would make you the most comfortable. Hourly check-ins via messaging, walks at certain times, and if they need crating or a little training, I’m happy to do that as well.

About: I am a teacher currently on my holidays and would love no better way to spend it than with dogs as I am not yet in the position to have my own. I have cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities for friends and family since moving away from home at 18. Having grown up with dogs from a young age, I have a strong understanding of their needs, behaviours, and the importance of consistent training and routine. Whether it's energetic walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I always ensure every dog receives the care, attention, and affection they deserve while their owners are away. I am often described as having a personality of a golden retriever with lots of energy so I can match and keep up with your dogs playful levels! I'm a PE teacher currently enjoying my six-week summer holidays, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to giving your dog the care, attention, and exercise they deserve. I'm available throughout the day and evening, seven days a week. Your dog will have access to a large, fully secure, fenced garden, as well as a spacious conservatory and a utility room that's perfect for drying off after muddy adventures.

About: I am a reliable and caring dog lover with many years of hands-on experience. I have owned and cared for dogs since the age of 14, giving me a strong understanding of their needs, behaviour, and wellbeing. I offer dog walking and dog sitting services, ensuring your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while in my care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and am committed to providing a safe, happy, and trustworthy service. Although I don't currently have a dog of my own, this is mainly due to having a large family and the commitments that come with it. However, I have owned and cared for dogs since I was 14 and genuinely miss having them around. We have also donated to the charity Guide Dogs for many years. Caring for dogs brings me a lot of enjoyment, which is why I offer dog walking and pet sitting services. Part of the week, my blended family stays with their other parent, which gives me plenty of free time, flexibility, and attention to dedicate to caring for pets. I can prioritise walks before and after work and I work from home twice per week where I can ensure pets receive consistent care, exercise, and affection within your home or mine. I am available for walks and check ins, doggy daycare within your home or mine and overnight stays (mainly weekends) where possible. Building trust with both pets and owners is very important to me, and I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was 5 years old, within a family revolving around guide dogs. I’ve joined in with training guide dog puppies and taken many dog walks over the years. Now having moved away from home I miss the daily interaction with dogs! I work full time as a physiotherapist but have evenings and weekends free to care for your pets. I live with my partner who has an equal love for dogs and has more time on his hands, so would be keen to help out where needed! I live in a terraced house with a small garden in the centre of Worcester, a very short distance to the river, with many options nearby for areas for your pets to have a good run around!

About: I have had a lot of experience with dog and cat sitting before, including dog walks and feeding them, ensuring cleanliness and ensuring to keep them company! I ensure they are fit and well, and I report any concerns I have about the pets and ensure they are clean and happy. This is such as washing bowls, cleaning litter trays etc.

About: I've grown up in a countryside surrounded by pets and animals of all kind. Since I was a child I adored and took care of our fur friends, treating them like part of a family. Often taking care of friends and family's pets, trying to teach them some tricks and making sure they getting all the attention, quality time and entertainment they need. I've also volunteered in Thailand in rescued animals sanctuary where I cared daily for rescued dogs, cats and wild animals. It included feeding, walking, cleaning, playing, showering and socializing puppies. Some of these animals were disabled or had special needs so I had to have a very individual approach to every single one. I'm available most mornings and evenings, including weekends and bank holidays. I work as self employed so I can organize my schedule to meet owners' needs. While doing walks with dogs or pet sitting at home I always consider their health and needs, also owners advices/tips while choosing if this should be more of an active or peaceful time for older/ill/disabled pets. Every pet is different so I have individual approach to each one I get to know and care for. I trust that the owner will provide all the necessary information when trusting me with their cat/dog, so I can care for them as best as I can considering their health, needs and preferences.

About: Care for small/medium dogs and rabbits. Gentle walks, proper feeding clean housing. 3 days a week 9am till 1pm. Reliable kind and sends updates. I’m happy to do from 9am till 1pm, I love looking after animals like cats, small dogs and bunnies. And to keep to routine. I don’t take pets into my own home however I’m happy to come to the owners home and look after your pets gently.

I live 2 minutes walk from a local park and work from home so your dog will always have a company and a constant access to a big fenced garden. About: Hi there, my name is Olivia and I am a cat fanatic! I am a florist based in Worcester, working part time, so can be very flexible with my time. I have owned cats all my life and simply adore them, so I know cats well and know how to look after them and give them the love they deserve. My own cat, a little moggie called Delilah, is truly treated like a princess!

About: I grew up with dogs and have dog sat many times. I have completed puppy training classes and looked after senior dogs too, both happily. I work full time in town but I have evenings and weekends free to help you where I can! I am available 6-9pm daily and would happily spend that with dogs! I own a lovely Victorian home close to the river which is full of character but not precious. I have an enclosed garden and lovely neighbours.

About: Hello! I love looking after dogs and have been on Rover since August 2022. I have experience with pet dogs, cats, guinea pigs and pet rats. I am able to do check in visits for cats and small animals and may be able board small pets. I have experience with senior dogs and dogs with mild medical issues. I am available throughout the day for dog sitting and walks. I usually take the dogs boarding with me for walks in the morning and evening. I have a fenced paved back garden. I usually walk the dogs in the morning and evening as that fits better with my schedule and helps reduce the chances of toilet accidents. Dogs are allowed downstairs in the kitchen and sitting room. I don't have a crate but there is room for one in the kitchen if you use one. There is a gate on the stairs so they can't go upstairs. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. Dogs aren't allowed upstairs or in my bedroom as I have pet fancy rats upstairs. The dogs cannot get to the pet rats, but may be able to hear or smell them which sometimes can make them quite agitated, which is something to bear in mind. I often look after my mum's dog Marvin who is a spayed male Labrador. He is very friendly but if he is staying while your dog is, I like to do a meet up with him so that I can make sure they will get along. I only walk dogs on the lead.
