“Marina was flexible when we needed to arrive an hour later and Casper clearly had a lovely time with her. She sent very cute photos of them having a cuddle and Casper obviously had a good run during the day. Couldn’t have asked for more!”

“Absolutely incredible care, this was the first time Bernie was with someone who wasn't a family member and he loved every second of it, the picture updates sent made my day whilst I was stuck at work and he came home a very happy puppy, thank you so much for the love you showed to him 💕”

About: Meet us & our pup! We're Greg and Kitti, a couple based in Worcester with our cheeky Corgi, Cheddar, who turns 4 this year. We are insured to make sure we are all covered! We love dogs and wanted to open our home to one extra furry guest at a time, so your dog gets all the attention, space, and companionship they deserve without the overwhelm of a busy household. Why stay with us? We only take one guest dog at a time, meaning your pup gets a calm, relaxed environment with plenty of one-on-one attention. Greg works from home with an office upstairs, so there's always someone around throughout the day, no long stretches alone. Cheddar loves having a buddy to hang out with, and together they'll enjoy two walks a day: a longer morning adventure and a shorter evening stroll. We also have a small back garden where the dogs can potter about, play, and soak up some fresh air between walks. What to expect We treat every guest dog like part of the family. Your dog will have the run of our home alongside Cheddar, who usually claims the couch as his bed of choice! We don't have crates, but you're very welcome to bring your own if your dog prefers the comfort of their familiar den at bedtime or for downtime. Let's do an intro first! Before any booking, we always arrange an introductory meet-up so Cheddar and your dog can say hello and see how they get on together. It's really important to us that both dogs feel happy and comfortable, so this is a must before we confirm a stay. Get in touch, we'd love to hear about your dog and set up a meet! 🐕 Daily walks in the morning & afternoon around the Perry Wood area, and weekend walks in the city and Worcester Woods as the weather allows it. Kitti is home most days and Greg works from home, so there's always someone around to keep to a routine. We have separate rooms downstairs and a fenced garden for midday activities. Dogs are never left unsupervised outside, and we always ensure guest dogs are comfortable and settled before giving them more space to explore. Cheddar helps new arrivals feel at ease quickly!
About: We've had dogs growing up (as pets and parents training guide dogs for the blind) most of our lives. We've loved dogsitting for friends so far and we'd like to extend this further through Rover. Although my husband works away from home during the day, I am predominantly home based with my work and so have a fair amount of flexibility to accommodate offering our services. From experience so far we do our best to stick to the routines that owners advise us of including use of treats etc. Where safe and appropriate (with the consent and knowledge of the owners) try and experiment new instructions/commands etc. Depending on the temperament of your pet we may sometimes allow them upstairs but to begin with, we will try and keep to what your pet is most familiar with.
“This is my first booking with Dany. I felt a little anxious due to experience with another boarder. Dany provided updates throughout the day, put my mind at ease and it was clear when I picked up my little boy that he was so relaxed and at ease. Another plus is Dany provided further updates in the app, that I've never received from other boarders. Both me and my fur baby are so pleased we found Dany ❤️ and will make all future bookings with D without any hesitation 😊🐾 All needs met care, food, play time and walks.”

About: I have had many years of experience looking after large dogs that need extensive walking and training. Throughout my childhood I have lived in a household full of various animals such as rats, German Shepherds and Rottweilers and Labradors, ducks, chickens and geese and mother cats and their kittens. I was responsible for feeding the cats and changing their litter trays multiple times daily. With the dogs, I would take them on long regular walks ensuring that their daily exercise needs were met. Alongside this, play time was key such as throwing sticks and balls for the dogs to engage with. I would also use chew toys such as tug of war to strengthen the jaw. I would also be responsible for feeding my dogs raw meat, specifically to the breed. Whilst doing this, I would ensure of their table manners before eating; demanding a paw and to wait until commanded prior to feast! Not only have I looked after my own animals, neighbours have seen my attentiveness and have asked me to look after their dogs when on holiday. I have a part time job, however it is only three days weekly so lots of availability. Also my mother who has experience growing up on a farm will be home often. I have a garden and large enough home for many different sizes of dogs. I can supervise your dog when needing the loo. The area is extremely quiet and safe, with minimal traffic down my home road. The property itself is safe.
About: Recently, after trying to find a home from home for our beautiful Labrador whilst we are in holiday, we realised and experienced just how difficult it is to find local availability to offer the personalised and affectionate service we desired for our girl. We have never been a fan or open to the idea of kennels where our fur baby sleeps outside on her own and without human interaction which she loves so dearly. We want kind and caring pet lovers to share their home with our beautiful fur baby. That's why we've decided to sign up and offer our service to share our home and love with other peoples beloved fur babies so that they can enjoy their holidays and time away from home, without worrying about the safety, care and happiness of their babies. We are lucky enough to work from home 4 days a week and on the one day we aren't at home our beautiful Labrador has a professional dog walker to take her out and care for her needs. We get out walking at least twice a day and have lots of time for cuddles and mental stimulation in between. We have a large, secured garden and access to a big green space just behind the house. Our 14 month old Labrador is fully house and crate trained but she is left to roam free during the day and we constantly keep an eye on her.
“Eva was absolutely amazing! She was quick to respond to my inquiry and was so kind and caring to peppa! Would definitely recommend her to friends and will be using her services again soon!”

“Booked in with Laura last minute and her family were very accommodating, lovely and Dobby had a great time in their care! Laura sent photos throughout the day care booking and took our dog on a walk too Would definitely book again and would highly recommend!”

“Our dog Heddwyn is typical of a cockapoo who follows his mum everywhere. We wondered how he would react to being left with someone he did not know. He was taken for a walk after we left him and all was fine. We were sent some photos of the walk and once back at Debbie’s house. Heddwyn had clearly settled well. We will be absolutely happy for Debbie to look after Heddwyn again.”

“Holly has been amazing with my boy and I’ve absolutely loved the photos she sent, he looks so happy and he’s absolutely knackered from the walks and outdoor play. Thank you so much for looking after him and the feedback ❤️”

“Rebecca was great at giving me updates throughout the day, including pictures to ease me of her first time away. Brie was a very tired puppy after her busy day playing! Would definitely book again!”

“Jenni is amazing! Welcomed my little 🐶 Lily into her nice home. She is kind, gentle and patient- you can tell how much she cares from the photos she sent. Lily enjoyed her day playing with Radish and I’m glad they matched each other’s energy. Nothing was too much trouble and I really appreciated everything she did. Thanks 🙏”

I work from home so always looking for company and an excuse to go on walks round the river! Lots of space in the house and I have a dog crate if preferred

We couldn't be happier with how Mitzy's stay went! She was completely relaxed throughout, which says a lot — she can take a little time to settle, so it was reassuring to see her so at ease. We were kept updated with messages throughout the day, which we really appreciated. It's that kind of extra effort that makes all the difference when you're leaving your dog with someone new. We'd recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who truly cares about the dogs in their care.

From first meeting both Susan and Stephen my mind was put at ease. Both are considerate and listened to understand Terry’s do's and dont's to make the stay a pleasurable for everyone. Kept me updated and provided photos throughout. Terry returned a very happy dog with his tail wagging, which says it all. Thank you both for being so accommodating and understanding to Terry's "pawticular" requirements. It is evident you're dog lovers and Terry is looking forward to his next stay with you 😀

Our dog Heddwyn is typical of a cockapoo who follows his mum everywhere. We wondered how he would react to being left with someone he did not know. He was taken for a walk after we left him and all was fine. We were sent some photos of the walk and once back at Debbie’s house. Heddwyn had clearly settled well. We will be absolutely happy for Debbie to look after Heddwyn again.

Holly took such great care of our labrador Rowan during the day. She provided regular updates and ensured the dogs had breaks to sleep/unwind, as well play together. Rowan clearly loved it, she was full of positive energy when I collected her! We will be using Holly again for sure.

Vitor and wife Miya - and their beautiful Dashund Helga, were lovely sitters for our Spaniel. This was just a doggie day care we needed whilst holidaying in our caravan but Tiya was completely comfortable with them (we’d had a meet n greet previously). Recommend this sitter to any new ‘Rovers!’ 🙂

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
