About: I grew up with dogs and have dog sat many times. I have completed puppy training classes and looked after senior dogs too, both happily. I work full time in town but I have evenings and weekends free to help you where I can! I am available 6-9pm daily and would happily spend that with dogs! I own a lovely Victorian home close to the river which is full of character but not precious. I have an enclosed garden and lovely neighbours.
About: Recently, after trying to find a home from home for our beautiful Labrador whilst we are in holiday, we realised and experienced just how difficult it is to find local availability to offer the personalised and affectionate service we desired for our girl. We have never been a fan or open to the idea of kennels where our fur baby sleeps outside on her own and without human interaction which she loves so dearly. We want kind and caring pet lovers to share their home with our beautiful fur baby. That's why we've decided to sign up and offer our service to share our home and love with other peoples beloved fur babies so that they can enjoy their holidays and time away from home, without worrying about the safety, care and happiness of their babies. We are lucky enough to work from home 4 days a week and on the one day we aren't at home our beautiful Labrador has a professional dog walker to take her out and care for her needs. We get out walking at least twice a day and have lots of time for cuddles and mental stimulation in between. We have a large, secured garden and access to a big green space just behind the house. Our 14 month old Labrador is fully house and crate trained but she is left to roam free during the day and we constantly keep an eye on her.

About: Having grown up with my own Boston Terrier, I’ve had many years experience feeding, caring for and walking dogs. I’ve also extended this experience through caring for my neighbours staffy and my boyfriends family dogs. I try to take them out every 2 hours keep them distracted too Im working full time at the moment but I have plenty of space and usually three days off in a week that I used to stay home so I would love to have a friend with me. I also have a visiting dog groomer who can be pre booked for glamorous grooming . My day starts at 5.30am with comfort breaks, cleaning of all areas , morning walk and then breakfast the day is planned according to each dogs individual needs . Dogs have two individual walks per day and off lead playtime in a secure local field . I do not pack walk or use extender leads . As this was our first time, we had a pre meet beforehand where Kim took the time to tell me about her family, home life and really understand Terry and his needs. Kim was so kind, welcoming and reassuring from the start. Throughout the day,Kim sent regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease. It was lovely to see how happy and settled Terry looked and to know he was being so well cared for. When I picked him up, he was relaxed, content and even had an early night, which made a lovely change! A huge thank you to Kim and family for welcoming Terry into their homeand making him feel part of the family. I feel completely reassured leaving him with Kim and looking forward to his future stays. Alisha agreed to look after my Sprocker Rolo at very short notice (late the evening prior for a 06:30 drop off) and was a life saver! Alisha was there waiting to greet us when I arrived - her house is lovely and she has a great garden and a friendly dog of her own to keep Rolo company. Alisha kept me updated throughout the day and sent lots of pics of my very happy pooch! She took him on 2 walks and filled in his care card online. You can tell she genuinely loves Dogs! She was super flexible too and said if I was back later than the alloceted time it would be fine which took the pressure off. Our dog Heddwyn is typical of a cockapoo who follows his mum everywhere. We wondered how he would react to being left with someone he did not know. He was taken for a walk after we left him and all was fine. We were sent some photos of the walk and once back at Debbie’s house. Heddwyn had clearly settled well. We will be absolutely happy for Debbie to look after Heddwyn again.
Alice is a young lady who clearly loves her dogs and took good care of roobarb for the day.she updated me at various points with still photos and videos. Alice did keep roobarb on a long leash in what looked to be a really nice open area whilst her other dogs were allowed to run free which was a little disappointing if I am perfectly honest as i had explained beforehand how well behaved roobarb is off the lead and indeed I rarely keep her on the lead except where there is traffic However Alice explained to me that it was her policy to always keep a first time dog on the leash. I must say i was also slightly surprised that I was kept outside and not invited into the house at any point as I think it's quite important that someone who is leaving there dog with a stranger can see the surroundings in which the dog is to be left for the day no doubt the house is a perfect environment for any dog but it's nice to be able to satisfy yourself of this before giving your dog up for the day.! Having made those points it was my overall impression that Alice will always provide a caring and safe pair of hands for your dogs away days
