Dogs are the best house guests we've ever had!
We've had dogs growing up (as pets and parents training guide dogs for the blind) most of our lives. We've loved dogsitting for friends so far and we'd like to extend this further through Rover.

I cannot recommend Susan enough. She looked after Ollie for a few days while I moved house and he had the best time. He was looked after so well and I was kept updated regularly which helped me because I have never left him anywhere before. I will definitely be rebooting woth Susan again in the future.
From first meeting both Susan and Stephen my mind was put at ease. Both are considerate and listened to understand Terry’s do's and dont's to make the stay a pleasurable for everyone. Kept me updated and provided photos throughout. Terry returned a very happy dog with his tail wagging, which says it all. Thank you both for being so accommodating and understanding to Terry's "pawticular" requirements. It is evident you're dog lovers and Terry is looking forward to his next stay with you 😀
Susan looked after my dog for a few days over a very hot weekend and our dog was loved and made very much at home. They took her for lovely walks (with pictures) and even took her for a doggy ice cream. Susan is very friendly and communicates well with regular updates. I had no worries at all. I would recommend Susan if you are looking for someone to care for your dog. I would not hesitate to book again. Thank you Susan (and Stephen) for taking such good care of Dottie.

Schedule
Although my husband works away from home during the day, I am predominantly home based with my work and so have a fair amount of flexibility to accommodate offering our services.

Safety, trust & environment
From experience so far we do our best to stick to the routines that owners advise us of including use of treats etc. Where safe and appropriate (with the consent and knowledge of the owners) try and experiment new instructions/commands etc. Depending on the temperament of your pet we may sometimes allow them upstairs but to begin with, we will try and keep to what your pet is most familiar with.
A typical day
We love going on walks with dogs we've taken care of especially exploring new places. We're happy to follow games and play that owners find most useful with their pets.

- It would really help us to have as much information about your dog prior to their stay. We prefer dogs that are small to medium sized with a slim build as I may struggle to manage big sized or heavy dogs when walking them on the lead. It is a requirement that your dog is on an up to date flea and worming programme. We would appreciate you confirming when this may have taken place at the time of booking.
