About: Hi! I'm Alex, I run Much Ado About Fluffin' pet care, and I'm thrilled to be providing my services here on Rover too! I've spent most of my life caring for animals, all of it adoring them, and for the last four years I've also been helping others with care for their pets. Currently I live with four pets, two of whom are medically complex, so I know how scary it can be entrusting your pet to somebody else. Every pet is unique, and I'll always do all I can to make you feel as reassured about their care as possible. I have experience administering medication, working with small mammals and reptiles, and caring for dogs with an array of different needs (including help with separation anxiety) among other things. I'm DBS checked, independently insured and I can provide as many references as you need in order to feel at ease. I offer solo and group dog walking, secure dog paddock enrichment hours, check-ins for cats, small mammals, small reptiles and dogs, and overnight and daytime pet sitting, and if you have a request that's not strictly one of those, I'd be more than happy to work something out with you. If you'd like to arrange a zero-obligation meet and greet or just have a chat to see if we'd be a good fit, please feel free to message me. A little about me - I grew up watching Animal Planet and reading nothing but animal rescue books, had guinea pigs for most of my childhood, and even now my social media is mostly dog training and animal rescue! You can rest assured your pet will kept safe, treated kindly and absolutely doted on in my care. (PS - tell your pet I said hi! ♥) Caring for animals fits seamlessly into my current routine, as I'm free most days and walking the dogs is always one of the highlights! I'm within walking distance of many great natural spaces, and taking your dog along for the adventure would fit in perfectly. I work closely with every pet parent to make sure their pet's needs are completely fulfilled, so they and their pet feels safe. Meeting your pet where they're at is the most important thing to me, whether that's big long walks for energetic dogs or simply being a reassuring presence for shy cats. Living with two medically complex pets means I know how scary it can be entrusting your pet to somebody else, so I want to know every detail and make you feel as reassured about their care as possible.

Maisie and her partner were incredibly reliable, professional, and clearly have a genuine love for animals. When I returned from my holidays, my cat was relaxed and well cared for, and everything in the house was just as I left it. I really appreciated the check-in updates and photos—they really gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Maisie and her partner to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pet.

About: I am a teacher currently on my holidays and would love no better way to spend it than with dogs as I am not yet in the position to have my own. I have cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities for friends and family since moving away from home at 18. Having grown up with dogs from a young age, I have a strong understanding of their needs, behaviours, and the importance of consistent training and routine. Whether it's energetic walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I always ensure every dog receives the care, attention, and affection they deserve while their owners are away. I am often described as having a personality of a golden retriever with lots of energy so I can match and keep up with your dogs playful levels! I'm a PE teacher currently enjoying my six-week summer holidays, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to giving your dog the care, attention, and exercise they deserve. I'm available throughout the day and evening, seven days a week. Your dog will have access to a large, fully secure, fenced garden, as well as a spacious conservatory and a utility room that's perfect for drying off after muddy adventures.

About: I have had cockapoos for 10 years and look after my families cockapoo. My friend has a Labrador that i take care off over a week at a time when needed. I have neighbours who have dogs and cats who i connect with on a daily basis. I am patient and care a lot about the welfare of all furry animals. I am working full time. Every other weekend and I work 6 days one week and 4 days the next. I am a customer service manager from 08:30-5pm. All evenings and early mornings free. Plus 1 hour lunch period in the day. In a pets owners home I would treat it as if it was my own and make sure everything is in order before leaving, just like I do with my cockapoo at my house. All instructions will be followed accurately for a safe and happy home for the pet and the owner.

About: Dogs, cats, and horses have always been a part of my life, having been lucky enough to grow up with them in the family. I love spending time with and caring for animals, big and small! I have more than 5 years experience working with a range of breeds professionally through kennel and dog care work, alongside a lifetime of personal dog companionship! I’m confident with larger breeds, and I love getting to know all animals as individuals, quirks and all. I have had rescues, both cats and dogs, and know how important patience and kindness is for all animals, but for rescues in particular. I love being outdoors, and for me dogs and horses offer the perfect excuse to get out more - their company is the icing on the cake! My flexible part time remote working job role means I can offer in home visits during week days any time, and offer walks and boarding at their own home at weekends or weekday evenings. I will work with you to decide the best way for me to give your pet everything they need, keeping them safe, secure and well loved!!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was 5 years old, within a family revolving around guide dogs. I’ve joined in with training guide dog puppies and taken many dog walks over the years. Now having moved away from home I miss the daily interaction with dogs! I work full time as a physiotherapist but have evenings and weekends free to care for your pets. I live with my partner who has an equal love for dogs and has more time on his hands, so would be keen to help out where needed! I live in a terraced house with a small garden in the centre of Worcester, a very short distance to the river, with many options nearby for areas for your pets to have a good run around!

About: There is a saying that resonates with me quite strongly - our pets are a chapter in our lives, but we are their whole book. Making our animals lives the most fulfilling they can be is very important to me. I’ve had all sorts of pets since the day I can remember. Dogs, cats, hamsters, even gerbils! Looking after pets of any kind brings me a sense of fulfilment, and there isn’t a moment I don’t enjoy. I recently left my retail job, as it wasn’t bringing me fulfilment, and working with people isn’t my forte due to my neurodiversity. As such, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets, as short or as long as you might need it! Whether you just need someone to walk your pooch, drop in, or stay for a longer period of time, I’ll be there! (Honestly, the longer I can stay with them, the better!) As I currently don’t have the space required for onboarding animals, I cannot offer that as a service. However, during stays to your home, I can offer do anything that would make you the most comfortable. Hourly check-ins via messaging, walks at certain times, and if they need crating or a little training, I’m happy to do that as well.

Leanna and Lauren did an amazing job of looking after my 2 cats. They took the time to get to know the cats and their personalities and fussed & played with them as well as feeding them and administering medication (tablets and eye ointment) to one of the cats. They sent detailed updates and lovely photos. Unfortunately one of my cats became ill and they quickly identified the problem and let me know straight away. Using a cat sitter when my cat was unwell and needing medication was difficult but Leanna and Lauren showed a lot of care and compassion and were very reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again.

About: Recently, after trying to find a home from home for our beautiful Labrador whilst we are in holiday, we realised and experienced just how difficult it is to find local availability to offer the personalised and affectionate service we desired for our girl. We have never been a fan or open to the idea of kennels where our fur baby sleeps outside on her own and without human interaction which she loves so dearly. We want kind and caring pet lovers to share their home with our beautiful fur baby. That's why we've decided to sign up and offer our service to share our home and love with other peoples beloved fur babies so that they can enjoy their holidays and time away from home, without worrying about the safety, care and happiness of their babies. We are lucky enough to work from home 4 days a week and on the one day we aren't at home our beautiful Labrador has a professional dog walker to take her out and care for her needs. We get out walking at least twice a day and have lots of time for cuddles and mental stimulation in between. We have a large, secured garden and access to a big green space just behind the house. Our 14 month old Labrador is fully house and crate trained but she is left to roam free during the day and we constantly keep an eye on her.

About: I’m from Italy where I recently opened a petsitting business with my sister. I’ve now moved to the UK for work and would love to keep taking care of animals as it is a true passion of mine. I’ve had cats my whole life growing up and really love them and enjoy taking care of them. I have experience taking care of dogs also through my petsitting business. I understand how difficult it is to find a trustworthy person to take care of your pet(s) when you are away and I would be happy to be this person. I can assure you that I will do my best to give them all the love and attention they need while you are away. I am currently a working professional who loves animals so I am able to petsit cats anytime as I work a couple of hours a day but dogs only on weekends. I am available to pet sit in your home as well as my home but in my house I am only able to have cats, not dogs.

About: I grew up with dogs and have dog sat many times. I have completed puppy training classes and looked after senior dogs too, both happily. I work full time in town but I have evenings and weekends free to help you where I can! I am available 6-9pm daily and would happily spend that with dogs! I own a lovely Victorian home close to the river which is full of character but not precious. I have an enclosed garden and lovely neighbours.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Worcester pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Worcester choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
