About: Hello, My name is Nicki, welcome to a little bit about myself and my tribe! I am a qualified veterinary nurse with 18years experience. I am currently locuming at different practices so can visit your pet around my working hours. I have had dogs my whole life, my parents use to breed Old English Sheepdogs so from a very young age I always knew I wanted a career with animals. Having worked in veterinary practice for so long I would like to build a bond with animals outside the veterinary practice and thought pet sitting was ideal. Animals are amazing creatures with personalities and hearts of gold, I will always love your pet as if they were my own. At home I live my husband Wijnand, our little boy Ryleigh, two dogs Maja and Pippa, two cats Lola and Oreo. I am able to pop in once or twice daily, spend some time with your pets so they can play and get some fuss, give any medication needed including injections. We’re dog lovers but sadly lost our dog in the summer so we thought why not offer our home to dog lovers like us that need a holiday and don’t want to leave their dog at the kennels. Personally, I'm more than happy for the dog to sleep upstairs and they are also allowed in the sofa, but if the owner requirements are to don't allow them to do it, I will always respect it and I will follow any guidance and instructions that are given to me from the owners! I always clean paws after every walk or if it was needed, I would give them a nice bath as an added to their daily brush, I believe that keeping them nice and clean contributes to make them feel good and comfy before going to bed! If there's any instructions, medications or procedures to follow I can assure you I will be strict with it and you will get pictures and updates of your best friend everyday, that's what I would like if it was my dog!
