About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. As a child I had a collie growing up and then while bringing my young children up we had hamsters, cats and fish. Recently the family cat passed away so it’s strange having no furry companion in the home when I’ve had it my whole life. Both of my grown up children have dogs who I love walking and looking after and playing with. I retired early at the age of 55, so now I spend my time in the gym, spending time with my 1yr and a half grand daughter or with my sons labradoodle and cat who I look after when they go away or I frequently go and walk the dog when they are busy. I’ve also looked after my daughters mixed breed (staffie/frenchdog) in Belfast. So my day can revolve around your pet whether they love attention or rather be more independent I have a fenced garden and can drive to more scenic big walks or live local to fields and small walks. The dog is welcome throughout the home to feel relaxed

About: I’ve been looking after my own animals and friends and families ever since i was a child, i’m excited to meet your fluffy cuties too. I currently work away in the week and have work from home days, so i spend lots of time at home where i have the capacity to look after some fur babies. I have a fenced garden and a dog flap, if they feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with me they definitely can too. They’ll get lots of cwtches and strokes.

About: I’ve been working for a doggy daycare for over 2 years. Through this I have met all types of personalities of dogs of all energy levels and a multitude of breeds. I have a level 2 in animal care. Also working towards a T level in animal management. Currently working towards my animal management T level but love working with furry friends whenever I have free time. I can negotiate times whenever it suits clients. I am DBS checked and can offer proof if requested, I can do visual health checks (behaviour, movement) to ensure your furry friend is comfortable and healthy. I will always do my best to insure your pup’s safety is Top priority.

About: I am a mature woman from the Hereford area. I love the company of pets, especially dogs and cats. I am a caring, responsible person and work in Healthcare in Herefordshire. I am setting up being a Pet Sitter and Dog Walker in my spare time. I wanted to set up additional hours working for myself and looking after owners lovable pets is perfect for me. I have a clear DBS check. I have owned dogs and cats for many years, my cat’s personalities have ranged from cuddles sat on my lap to quite wild and loving to roam! I have owned a gorgeous black Labrador from a puppy, I loved her company, taking her on wonderful walks in the stunning local countryside. She was a perfect companion. Now I help look after my daughter’s Pomeranian, a gorgeous copper colour dog. I have 17 years experience of caring for dogs, experience of a large and a small dog, requiring longer walks and short. I enjoy walking - in all weathers even rain if your dog likes that too. Prior to having my own children (now adults themselves) I used to Nanny looking after children in the family homes, I showed full respect for people’s property, belongings and I appreciate following the routines set by families, I feel these qualities I have will help when working as a Pet Sitter or Dog Walker. I will respect your property and pet care requests, and love your Pet as you would while you have your time away. I am currently working during the week, but I finish at 4pm so I am available for evening pet care or dog walks. I am available Friday to Sunday for Pet Sitting in owners home. Unfortunately I cannot care for your pet in my own home due to it being Leasehold. I am very happy to stay in your home and follow your routine for your pet. About: I have a rescue German Shepherd and an ex service German Shepherd with experience of working with rescue organizations that have animals with all different needs. My two dogs can be reactive to other dogs so I have experience of calmly handling different situations and avoiding stressful triggers. I have previously been employed for over a year as a professional dog walker. It was an amazing job where I learned so much more about animal care. It was also where I learned walking six dogs at a time and managing those dogs and making sure everyone is getting the most of their walk. I’m available for dog walking and drop in visits between 11am and 4pm during the week. I would be happy to try fit you in my schedule should you need any extra help. I have a fenced in big garden that my two dogs love to run in. I am careful to make sure they get both enough mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis.

We have two separate secure garden areas where dogs can be slowly and safely introduced to our own two dogs. We have a van and crates if your dogs need collecting. There will always be one of us present during your pets stay with us or our stay in your home. We will adapt to your schedule and your pets needs. We are happy to travel for house sitting. We are able to offer care for other animals by negotiation including livestock and birds. Johns 15 years as a small holder and a goat farmer included milking up to 40 goats per day and caring for his own cattle, pigs and sheep. Maggie's experience working with horses on stud farms While we are not currently offering any riding we would be happy to turn out, change rugs and feed horses and give basic care to other larger animals that live on the property. We will leave your home as clean and tidy as you leave it. We will be as unobtrusive as we can be while we care for your beloved creatures. In our home we have various different rooms including a sunroom where your dog can find a safe and relaxing spot to curl up in and a secure garden with tall fencing for your dogs potti breaks.

About: I've had cats for as long as I can remember. Probably around 30 years now and I've also worked as a re-homer for the Cat Protection League and spent many years volunteering at the Local Dog Rescue. Walking poundies and raising money for better kennels. I work full time from home and normally have plenty of flexibility to fit in pet visits. If needed to house sit, I can work from anywhere as long as I have wi-fi. If you require me to ensure that your pet is left indoors, i can promise you I will keep them safe. I will treat your pet as I would treat my own.

About: I am a registered veterinary nurse with experience dealing with a range of different animals from small and furry to big and slobbery! I will treat your pet like me family! Unfortunately I am unable to look after pets in my home due to lack of space and garden. I am confident dealing with different ages, temperaments, medical conditions and personalities. I work part time and can work with you to ensure your pet is appropriately cared for. If I know dates in advance, I can book time off to ensure I am there for your pet if your pet isn’t used to being left during the day time. I ensure that routine and needs are thoroughly discussed with you before hand. Keeping an animals routine the same can help them settle when owners are away. Unless otherwise discussed with others, when walking dogs they are always kept on the lead and away from other dogs. This is to reduce risk of other dogs, cars, other humans and dogs running off. They will be less willing to come back to a stranger but I will take them out for walks more often if they usually have a good run around the field!

My background as an intermediate horse rider has also given me a deep respect for animal behavior and the patience required to build trust. As a new mum, I provide a calm, nurturing environment. I am particularly skilled with senior pet care and love nothing more than a quiet cuddle on the sofa. Your pet will be treated as a member of our family, receiving the same dedicated care I’ve given my own pets for the last 16 years. I'm currently working part time so I'll have plenty of time to spend quality time with your pet. I'm available for boarding in your home every night. I'm also available for pet sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. I have a spacious, pet-friendly home with a fenced garden perfect for zoomies! Cats have freedom of the entire house to roam as they please. Dogs are allowed in our home too and will enjoy frequent walks and consistent companionship, ensuring they get all the exercise and affection they need.

About: I have pet sitted dogs , look after my own dogs and cat , I have recently graduated with a degree with honours in international wildlife biology at university and have received a double distinction in animal management level 3. I also gained work experience and volunteered at Hereford and Worcester animal rescue with looking after , walking and helping getting dogs new homes. I also currently work causally at a doggy day care so have lots of experience with dogs and make sure all their needs are met and love every dog no matter their size :) I can fit pets in to look after them, play with them and make sure they are well looked after and fed and played with . I currently don't drive and am learning so would need to be able to get public transport or be around Hereford town or outskirts unless I can get a lift . About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I have always walked them multiple times a day, fed, watered and have looked after family / friends pets too. I’m currently a stay at home mum with a 4 year old so I have plenty of time to look after your pets! I have owned dogs all of my life, and currently have a staffy puppy. I have a large fenced back garden which is fully secure for my own puppy. I use a crate for him too. I also allow free roam of the downstairs when I am home. I also live near to wye valley vets should there be any emergency. I also have a baby gate between my living room and kitchen should dogs need separation.

About: I have previously had cats and dogs myself. I have looked after dogs and walked them for a long time before I had my children and now we do it as a family. I am available around my childcare (feel free to contact me to discuss further). If walking/drop ins I may have my youngest child with me so a pet that is good around children is ideal although I can be flexible on this. I am available everyday of the week for a dog to stay in my house, however I cannot have cats to stay unfortunately. We also have children so it is essential they are good with kids and are crate trained. I am a trustworthy & reliable person. I have experience letting myself into other peoples home and caring for pets. I am open to visiting with owner before hand to get to know the pet and put owner at ease. Any pets staying will need to be fully crate trained with their own crate provided (open to discussion depending on specifics for the dog) and be good with children as I have 3 children under 5 in the property too.

About: I have had many years looking after my own pets and looking after pets for family and friends! Even though it has not been through a company I am confident in saying that I know how to look after a variety of different animals including rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, I have also helped take care of my neighbours horse and helped with newborn rats up to their adulthood. and that this would be a great gateway into my career working with animals. As I have a lot of free time I will be caring for your pet everyday for as long as I have them under my watch, making sure that they are happy and healthy, ready for when there owner comes home As a pet owner of 2 hamsters and 4 guinea pigs or any small animal, I clean them out every week making sure that the space is tidy for them, I also give them a daily dose of vegetables and salad for them to get all the nutrients they need as well as making sure their water is full so that they can stay fully hydrated! And of course giving them their favourite treats.

I am a self-employed artist, which I can easily fit in around pet-sitting, so I have plenty of free time to look after your pets! Safety is of utmost importance to me. Your dog will be kept on a lead during walks and will be supervised even while outside in an enclosed garden to ensure they don't get up to any mischief that could put them in danger. Your cat will be cared for as instructed by you, so if they are indoor cats, they will stay indoors and vice versa. Playtime with toys will be closely supervised for both cats and dogs. I will only leave your animals alone for minimal periods of time, in order to go to the supermarket, etc, while I stay at your home, unless otherwise instructed by you. Fresh water is always available. Feeding schedules, treat provision etc will be conducted according to your instructions. All animals that I care for are required to be up-to-date with their vaccines, worming, and flea treatments. If your pet is unwell while you're away, I will immediately contact you with the details and take them to their vet if necessary. All pets must also be registered with a vet.

I keep to my clients pets routines as best as I can to make sure they are stress free and relaxed while their owner is away! I always do a meet&greet with clients before caring for their pets, to make sure I go over everything with the owner to make sure their pets are as safe as they can be, to make sure I stick to routines and what they are used to, so I have full understanding what they can and can’t do. I also have a terms&conditions that I get the client to read through so there is good communication between me and the client. I also send Daily updates of the pet to the owner.
