I’m currently a Uni student at Hereford College of Arts, studying Textiles (2nd year). I’ve got plenty of free time during the afternoon and would like an opportunity that involves looking after animals aka cats and dogs. I also have a qualification in animal care and would like to gain some more experience in this sector by looking after people’s pets if possible!

The pets I had when living back at home, were very loved and looked after! I would take Polo on walks every day and loopy had free access to roam outside when he wanted too.

Pet care experience
I’ve always grown up with pets from a very young age. Mainly cats but we did have a dog called Polo who I loved and cherished so much, I would take him on daily walks along the canal and meadows. I would also help out with feeding our pets. I’ve also used to look after my Nans cats while she was away, at this time we were slowly transitioning them into indoor cats so I would help out by locking them in during the night and letting them out during the mornings. This included cleaning and feeding duties.

We had a wonderful experience with Emily ! Both of our cats loved her, including our usually shy cat who is always scared of strangers. She was so patient and caring, and it was such a relief knowing they were happy and comfortable. She also went above and beyond by vacuuming their mess every day, leaving everything spotless. We came home to two very happy cats and couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Wow, we have just returned from a weeks holiday and Emily stayed with our dog Luna whilst we were away. She has clearly looked after both the dog and the house incredibly well. We received updates throughout our holiday and Emily was very thorough in asking questions before we left to make sure Luna was well looked after without us. Would recommend again and again, thank you!
Lovely young woman, she was very thorough with understanding my dogs needs, her communication was excellent and I didn't worry at all about leaving my dogs with her and they were very happy in her care. I have 2 little rescues and the right care is paramount due to their past traumas and I genuinely am so thrilled with the care she gave them. She will be my first go to whenever I need anyone to watch them for me again. I would highly recommend Emily!
