About: We’ve had dogs in the family for 15 years, including a beagle and our current lovable friend Roxy, the Goldendoodle. We (married couple) have two children, aged 2 and 6, who love having dogs around the house. They enjoy throwing balls, running together and helping out with bathtime. But we also understand when to keep them away, if your dog prefers quiet time or doesn’t like children. I work on an ad-hoc freelance basis, so am mostly at home. Because of this, I can usually be flexible to suit any particular timings or routines you and your dog may have. We live in rural Usk, and have a large, secure, fenced garden. We have many nice walks on our doorstep, including woodland walks and rivers.
9. Emma G.
“I wouldn’t heisitate to recommend Emma for all doggy care She is punctual efficient and friendly Emma has cared for both my dogs since they were puppies . They love her calm caring nature but she doesn’t take any nonsense either Olive is a Jackapoo and is very timid but Emma has won her over Arthur is a very bouncy Lurcher and Emma handles him very well”

About: I am a very committed dog lover who has previously fostered dogs for an animal rescue in the area, where i have provided the little doggies (many from puppy farms or unwanted homes) with a safe and happy place to stay at the beginning of their journey to find their forever home. I am now looking to do this as more of a profession and so would like to offer to care for your little canine friends with doggy day care in my home or at theirs, providing walks, play, cuddles and sleep time . I can also offer home from home dog boarding where your dogs are treated as one of my own and integrated into the family unit. I am also available should your little doggy just require dog walking whilst you're at work or have commitments.

“I’m Romi’s mum and as a family we have always had dogs as family pets. Romi has therefore grown up with dogs (cats, ferrets, chickens, rats, tortoise, hamsters) and knows how to behave around them, understands them and most of all absolutely adores them. At the age of 9 we bought her very own Springer Spaniel Bramble. They were best friends and we still have and who is spending her retirement age in our family home now that Romi leads her own busy life. Romi is kind, calm and responsible around dogs and she values their individual character and needs. I know that she will always be an anccountsble and attentive carer for anybody’s dog.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. There has never been a point where I’ve been without a companion. I’ve handled all ages from puppies to seniors and also many breeds from labradors to French bulldogs! I am a 3rd year student who has just graduated from Trent with too much spare time on her hands. I am completely flexible and also have a car so can drive anywhere that’s needed! I do have an outdoor patio that is fenced where the dogs can go outside. I also live a 30 second walk from the Forest Recreational ground where the dogs can be walked. As I mentioned I also have a car so I can take dogs on as many walks in as many parks! I live in a very quite area that’s only 10 minutes from the city centre. The house is quite spacious so will never feel to cramped and plenty of space for a crate if needed.

About: I've looked after dogs, cats and other small animals since I was 5 years old. I've babysitted animals for all of my neighbours and friends overnight and casual walking duties. I spent some time working at a cattery and pet shop/groomers while I was applying to study Vet med at University but sadly didn't get in! I'm working fairly flexible hours full time as a teacher and coach at a school so I will have flexible and dynamic hours to help and assist in any furry matters! I'm quite active and I like to go outdoors and explore but equally love to relax with a furry friend of an evening! I have a full fenced off back garden with paths and green space for them if needed. There are plenty of walks and areas to go around the area and plenty of space inside for cuddling up into beds and/or crates
16. Sidonie C.
“Sid has house sat for our three dogs on numerous occasions and we have always gone away and had a completely relaxing time as we have always been so happy that our dogs are with Sid. She has grown up with dogs and is very competent, loving and intuitive with dogs. She loves walking and will definitely be more than happy to walk as far as necessary for your dogs. She always sends us pics and updates on our dogs and they never seem to miss us when she is there. In fact I think they miss her when we are back! Sid also loves to clean and my house always looks so much nicer when we have come home! I can highly recommend Sid for pet sitting, dog walking and all things dog related. She is very trustworthy and lovely human all round.”
17. Connor J.
“Connor is the most passionate pet owner I’ve ever met. Truly, I took him to meet my family and he wouldn’t stop petting our dogs and would constantly play with them. One time we were on a walk and found a dog tied to a tree and refused to leave until the owner came back. He is very responsible and gets along with any animals he encounters, having him as a dog owner will provide the dog a safe and caring home.”
18. Georgia R.

19. Rebecca H.
“Rebecca dog sat my pooch (JIMMY THE JUG) for two weeks and he was treated very well and treated as part of the family when staying with her. Rebecca ensured my dog was walked daily, safe and when I collected him he almost didn’t want to leave he loved it so much. Jimmy was safely returned and I would recommend!”

About: I love being around dogs whether it be walking or looking after them, I find I am my most happy self around them. Because of this your dog would receive great care and affection and I'd do my best to make them happy too! I have two border collies which I walk everyday. They require ALOT of exercise so I have a knack now of tiring dogs out, I find you can never go wrong with a good tennis ball and a big field. I love walking any breed of dog and find that it is not the breed that determines the dog but it's personality (every dog is different and special in their own way). So I welcome Staffies or any other negatively stereotyped dog, they're all equal in my eyes. I am 21 years old and really would love to build a career in animal care. I live in the middle of the countryside so am used to mud and unfortunate smells....
