About: Your dog will be treated like my own! I’ve had dogs big and small all my life and moved from the city to the countryside at the beginning of the year to give my dog the best possible life, with plenty of space, fresh air and freedom to explore. I’ve also been dog sitting throughout this time. I live in a secure countryside home with lots of outdoor space, giving dogs plenty of room to play, relax and enjoy themselves. They’ll have lots of company, attention, cuddles and a safe, loving environment throughout their stay. They’ll also have Blu, my incredibly loving and gentle Great Dane, as their four-legged friend. He absolutely loves having other dogs around and is happiest with a friend to play and relax with. I’d love to give your dog a true home away from home, filled with love, companionship and space to enjoy. I work fully remotely with a very flexible schedule, which means I’m around throughout the day and can give your pup plenty of attention, company and breaks so they’re never left alone. I usually head out for a long dog walk at lunchtime or after work, often around the secure Clytha (2 mins away). If you’re happy for me to take your pup, I’d be more than happy to include these walks at no extra cost. Expect plenty of ball throwing, exploring, playing in the River Usk and lots of doggy socialising! My weekends are very much centred around dogs - whether that’s discovering new walking spots, visiting dog-friendly cafés or even heading to a friendly dog show. I’m happy to fit your pup into my lifestyle and adapt to their individual routine, personality and needs so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible. I’m also available for overnight stays, including weekends, and can be flexible with drop-off and collection times. I can also do pick ups if required depending on distance 🐶🤍 Your dog’s safety will be my priority - My home is accessed via a private driveway with a secure metal gate at the entrance, followed by around 1km of private driveway before reaching my secure country home. I have a large garden and plenty of space indoors, so your dog can have their own quiet room and safe space to settle into if they need some downtime. I also have Blu, my gentle giant Great Dane, who absolutely adores other dogs. If you choose to book with me, I’d love to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your pup can meet us, get to know Blu and make sure everyone is comfortable together before their stay. Dogs are very much part of the family in my home, and I want your pup to feel like this is their home too. Whether that means curling up on the sofa in front of the fire, following me upstairs while I do the washing or simply finding their favourite spot to relax, they’ll have plenty of freedom to settle into our home - unless you’d prefer otherwise. I’ll also keep you updated throughout their stay with photos and messages, so you can see how they’re settling in, what adventures we’ve been on and, most importantly, that they’re happy, relaxed and having the best time!
About: Welcome! With nearly 4 years of professional dog care experience across Poland, Ukraine, and the UK, I’ve looked after dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from lively puppies to seniors and dogs with disabilities. My own rescue dog, who once struggled with anxiety after the war, taught me the importance of patience, trust, and understanding. Through training, cynology (earning medals), and studying pet psychology, I’ve learned how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs I’m calm and confident in any situation, and dogs naturally feel at ease around me. Whether it’s a playful run, an adventurous walk, or a quiet moment in the park, I make sure every pup feels safe, understood, and loved while you’re away Pet care fits perfectly into my flexible schedule alongside my studies. I dedicate focused, loving time daily, whether it’s training, walks, or just being present. I’m happy to spend quality time with your doggy/cat in your home, where they feel most comfortable and safe. I’m unable to take pets to my place, but I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, and care right in their own environment.

About: I am an avid all round animal lover with previous experience dog walking and pet sitting for a range of animals. I previously lived on a farm where I cared for animals daily, including high-energy dogs and cats. I regularly walked dogs in my local area, ensuring they were exercised, safe, and well looked after at all times. I am deeply passionate about ensuring animals are cared for, safe, and comfortable at all times. I always prioritise their wellbeing and follow proper safety guidelines and handling practices. Whether walking or pet sitting, I make sure each animal is secure, happy, and treated with patience, respect, and consistent care, and they are taken care of to their specific individual needs. I am fully flexible and available to take care of the pets, whether it is evenings or weekends. I am able to plan my time around the needs of each animal. I prioritise feeding times, walks, and visits, ensuring consistency and reliability. I organise my day so I can give each pet the attention, exercise, and care they require without rushing or compromising their wellbeing. I provide attentive, reliable care for pets either in my own home or in the client’s home, depending on what is most comfortable for the animal. I follow their usual routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions given. I make sure their environment is clean, safe, and calm at all times, and I give them plenty of attention, reassurance, and companionship so they feel secure while their owner is away.
“Annie did a great job looking after our Maine Coon. She was also kind enough to meet him before we went on our trip and Kermit instantly took a liking to her, which like almost any cat, is not common for him. Report cards were thorough and always had more than one picture attached.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and caring dog lover with over six years of hands-on experience looking after pups of all ages—from playful two-month-old puppies to sweet senior dogs over ten. I’ve cared for many breeds, both big and small, including Border Collies, Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, Westies, Bichons, Fox Terriers, and Shibas. Each dog has their own personality, and I always take time to understand their needs, routines, and quirks. I believe walks should be fun and engaging, not just the same old route every day. That’s why, whenever I have time, I love taking dogs on mini adventures—hiking in Red Deer Park, exploring Snuff Mills, playing in the river, or spotting deer and flowers in Clifton. Their happiness is my biggest reward, and I love seeing them explore the world with joy and curiosity. I’m incredibly patient, calm, and gentle, and I treat every dog like my own. I currently live in a spacious, pet-friendly 1b1b apartment with plenty of room for dogs to relax, even larger breeds. Whether your pup loves cuddles, quiet time, or outdoor fun, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. I'm currently a PhD student, but I work from home most of the time, so my schedule is quite flexible. That means I can spend plenty of time with your pets throughout the day I live in a pet-friendly 1b1b apartment that’s clean, spacious, and comfortable—even for large dogs. It’s a quiet environment, which is great for pets who are sensitive or prefer calm spaces. I keep the floors clean and disinfect regularly. If I’m hosting a cat, there’s a 2.2-meter-tall cat tree at home that’s always a favorite. I follow each pet’s usual feeding habits and routines carefully, so they can feel safe, relaxed, and loved during their stay.
About: I have been caring for dogs for most of my life, with family pets always being a constant presence as I grew up. Since joining Rover in 2024, I’ve looked after a wide range of dogs, alongside many years of experience caring for friends’ and family members’ pets, including overnight stays. I also have experience with cats, animal rescue, and voluntary wildlife and animal-handling work, which has given me a calm and confident approach with animals of all temperaments and needs. In addition, I have hands-on experience with dog and puppy training, having trained our own family dogs and regularly attended professional training sessions. I’m happy to support your dog with basic training and reinforcement during their stay, if that’s something you’d find helpful. I’m extremely passionate about animal care, especially dogs and cats, and pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and genuinely committed to each pet’s wellbeing. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and safety will always come first with me! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine, as I have a flexible schedule and can work from home when needed. This allows me to provide full-time supervision, regular companionship, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to plan my day around a dog’s needs, including multiple walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of calm downtime. I truly enjoy having animals around and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and included as part of the household. I am currently also spending my time volunteering and helping with family. So I have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry pals!! I provide a calm, safe, and caring environment both in my home and when caring for pets in an owner’s home. We live rurally with a fenced garden, which offers plenty of space for secure outdoor play, training, and enrichment, with less risk of busy public interference. Our home is very private, with many secluded and safe walking routes nearby, as well as a large garden for exercise and stimulation. I also have dog crates available if they are needed for comfort or routine, although I don’t generally use them unless requested by the owner. We do have one cat, but she is an outdoor cat, is very used to dogs, and does not come inside. I always ensure pets are introduced carefully and that every animal in my care is safe and comfortable. Above all, I prioritise safety, routine, and treating every dog as if they were my own!
About: Hi, I’m Shannon! I provide dedicated one-to-one pet care, focusing on one household at a time so your pets always receive my full attention. I’m fully DBS checked, insured and CPD certified. My calm, patient approach makes me especially suited to nervous, rescue, elderly and reactive pets. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, relaxed and loved in their own environment, and I always tailor my care to their individual routine and personality. Regular photo updates and meet-and-greets are all part of the service. 🐾 Pet care fits around my part-time schedule, allowing me to dedicate quality time to every booking. “Fantastic! Dawson came and met Stanley before his first visit alone and he was so attentive. He was patient and understanding to Stanley's needs and would definitely use again! Thanks Dawson!”

About: Growing up we always had a dog who was a special family member. We had springer spaniels and labradors along with an epileptic white cat. I enjoy spending time with dogs, talking to them, grooming them or just playing. We wanted a family dog for years but as our jobs didn’t allow this in the past we were never able to commit as dogs need so much time, love and affection. My current job now allows me to have the time to spend with your dogs instead. I work from home with a flexible work environment that allows me to spend time with your furry friends. Being self employed I am not at the beck and call of a boss, this allows me to enjoy time with your dogs. We have a fenced off back garden where your dog can spend time safely and the house is also a comfortable and relaxing environment. Depending on your dogs needs, I can accommodate any specific requirements. I love spending time with your furry friends ensuring they feel comfortable in their home from home.

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life as we've always had one as a family pet. I've also taken friends and neighbours dogs for walks along with dog sitting them. I always make a lovely bond and always make sure all animals are well looked after as they are more family than animals Pet care becomes a natural part of my own daily rhythm it’s woven into my schedule almost like clockwork. Here’s how it typically fits in: Morning: Wake-up nudge: Your dog might be your alarm clock. First task? A quick potty break or walk. Feeding time: You prep their breakfast while maybe grabbing your own. Grooming check: A quick brush, paw check, or wiping off muddy paws if needed. Midday: Exercise/play: Whether you're on a lunch break or home during the day, this is a chance to stretch legs and play fetch or tug. Mental stimulation: Maybe a puzzle toy, a training session, or even just some one-on-one time. Evening: Walk or play session: A wind-down activity that burns off energy. Feeding and clean-up: Dinner and water refill, along with any tidying up. Affection/cuddles: Pets need emotional care, too. This could be snuggle time on the couch while you relax. Before Bed: Bathroom break: One last trip outside. Health checks: You might slip in a quick ear check, teeth brushing, or meds if needed. I have a fenced off garden front and back due to having my own dogs with a side gate, dogs will not get out alone

About: I absolutely love dogs, and am passionate about learning more about dogs. I have owned dogs for over 8 years now, and dogs matter so much in my life. I have been very used to walking up to five dogs at a time, some off-lead but mostly on the lead, whilst providing training for recall and time for play. I have provided pet sitting for nearly all of my friends dogs, either in their home or my own, and my own dog Winnie has thrived from making so many friends. I have experience walking rescued dogs, who have experienced high levels of anxiety due to the mistreatment they have suffered. I am truly a dog lover, a nature lover, and am determined to always provide the best experience possible. I currently tutor in the evenings, so would like to fill as much of my weekday as possible with pet care. As long as your home has a WiFi connection, I am happy to do overnight stays during the week to offer more care to your pet. I will want to understand a lot about your dog’s personality, and work around that. I believe that every animal is different, and has different needs, so I want to make sure I provide the best service possible. I like to hold communication with you, as the owner, to make sure you’re always in the loop.
“We couldn’t be happier with Julie’s dog-sitting services! She took care of our two dogs for six consecutive days, dropping in to feed them, let them out for bathroom breaks, and making sure they were happy and comfortable. Every day, she sent us wonderful updates and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she truly cares about the pets she looks after. Reliable, professional, and kind—Julie is fantastic, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter! 🐾😊”

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
