Sol took such great care of her & managed to settle her so quickly. We had loads of lovely updates on Peggy on her walks & playing with her new friends & she looked at ease. When we picked her up she did not seem bothered we were even there so she clearly had a wonderful time with Sol. I wouldn't hesitate to send Peggy there again when we next go away. Konnor, my partner, has grown up with dogs and has experience caring for them from an early age, giving him a good understanding of their needs, behaviour, and routines. We have also raised our own Toy Cockapoo, Ellie, since she was a 12-week-old puppy. She is now one year old, fully house trained, and a happy, well-socialised dog. About: I’ve grown up with cats and I’ve had a few in the past. I’ve even been around whilst my cats have given birth! What an experience that was! SO cute! My house is calming, with no tiny humans or any animals running around, so they should feel comfortable and relaxed from the offset. They are free to explore every corner of the house. No where is off limits to them. My house is open plan and quiet, which should put them at ease straight away. About: I am an insured, qualified, and first aid trained full-time dog walker - meaning you know you’ll get expert care from me! I am awaiting licensing from the council and expect my home based doggy day care to open in early October 🐾 each day includes love, rest, socialisation, and a 60 minute group walk exploring the Wye Valley! 🐶🩷 My walks involve: lots of enrichment walking around the woods and fields of the Wye Valley, safe and secure transportation without the use of a crate, a wash and towel dry when needed, and LOTS of love ❤️ For group walks - I walk up to 4 dogs (no more than that!) at a time in my group walks, twice a day 🩷 if you are interested in group walks please message first as these have lower rates that I can’t set on here automatically! I utilise strong tether attachments in the car to ensure that your dog is safe during transportation and have a cleanable seat cover so I can clean regularly. Dogs are only let off lead if safe to do so and consented to by the owners. Dogs are placed into groups depending on their size and play style to ensure maximum compatibility and safety. I usually head out for a good walk at lunchtime or after work, with Clytha just a couple of minutes away. There are open areas to explore, places to paddle and plenty of space for a proper run around. I’m happy to include these walks at no additional cost where suitable for your dog. My weekends are always dog-friendly too, whether that’s a longer countryside walk, exploring somewhere new or visiting a dog-friendly café or pub. I’m happy to adapt plans around your dog’s age, energy levels and usual routine. I’m available for both daytime and overnight care, including weekends, and can be flexible with drop-off and collection times. Pick-up may also be possible depending on distance. My home is in a quiet countryside setting, accessed through a secure metal gate followed by around 1km of private driveway. About: I’m based in the Forest of Dean and love making the most of the beautiful local woodland and countryside for walks. I’m also fortunate to have dog-friendly fields directly opposite my home, which are ideal for exercise, play and enrichment. I genuinely love dogs and would care for yours with the same patience, kindness and attention I would give my own. I’ve grown up around dogs and have always had a natural affinity with them. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes and temperaments, including Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels, Labradors, Bullmastiffs and Cane Corsos. I’m therefore very comfortable and confident around large and giant breeds as well as smaller dogs. I’ve also had both male and female working Springer Spaniels, so I’m very familiar with energetic, intelligent dogs who need plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation and attention. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I’m happy to follow their usual routine, whether that involves long woodland walks, playtime in the fields, feeding, enrichment, reinforcing their usual training or simply plenty of company and affection. I also have experience caring for dogs with ongoing health needs. One of my own Springer Spaniels experienced seizures and gastrointestinal problems, so I’m familiar with monitoring a dog’s wellbeing, following specific care routines and giving regular medication as directed. I understand how important consistency, observation and good communication with owners are when looking after a dog with additional needs. I’ve previously trained my own working dogs, so if your dog is already familiar with dummies, retrieving or whistle commands, I’d be very happy to continue this with them too. I work shift work and so I have days free consistently to spend 1 on 1 with your loved pets. My lifestyle is very active and outdoors and so pets fit naturally in my routine and activity. Working in the emergency services has given me a calm and reassuring approach to all situations — including caring for nervous or elderly pets. About: Hiya, I’m a 23 year old girl living away from home and missing her family fur baby, I’d love the chance to walk or sit with any pets as I’m missing mine. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14, raising a golden lab and German shepherd from puppies along with dog sitting for multiple family friends. I’ve dealt with all the puppy raptor teething and teenage years but I’ve also cared for my lab towards the end of his life, administering medications and carrying him upstairs so he can sleep in my bed or even bringing my mattress downstairs to sleep with him on the floor when he couldn’t make it up (as seen in pictures). I have lots of training experience as both dogs were rescued as strays and needed training, our German shepherd is a very nervous reactive boy who required some specialist training. My German shepherd is also hypoallergenic so I have an extensive knowledge about pet food ingredients and safety. I’ve also dog sat for multiple family friends where I got to take care of a gorgeous pitty and a golden doodle for multiple days taking them on regular walks, bonding with them, following feeding rules/schedules, and lots of belly scratches of course. I work hybrid so I am only away from home 2 days a week. I have a park less than a 2 minute walk from my front door that I love going to. I’m usually up for a run (or walk depending how lazy I’m feeling) in the morning then a walk on my lunch break and then out again after work. My weekends are full of fun hikes and adventures that I would love some company for. I have an enclosed flat with lots of space your fur baby to roam, I have a park around the corner from me for potty breaks and games of fetch. I share a border terrier called Kiwi part‑time, so I’m very familiar with dog routines, and all the fun (and mischief) that comes with looking after them. When I’m looking after other dogs, Kiwi won’t be with me, so your pup will have my full attention. Friends often leave their dogs with me for weekends, so I’m used to managing different temperaments and making sure each dog feels comfortable and settled.
