“If you are looking for dog sitters who will love your dog as deeply and genuinely as you do, Janie and Derek are quite simply everything you could hope for and more. From the very start, they went above and beyond. They met us at our home first so we could chat and get to know each other properly and then invited us to their beautiful home so we could see exactly where our dachshund, Ralphie, would be staying. They immediately put us at ease, warm, open and welcoming and it was incredibly reassuring hearing them talk about their own experiences with dog sitters, and how they understand just how hard it is to leave your pet when you’re away. While we were away, Janie and Derek kept in touch with daily updates, photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was clear from the way they spoke about Ralphie that they had really taken the time to get to know him and all his little quirks. Seeing him so relaxed, happy and cuddly with them made our worries disappear, especially when we discovered he’d even earned cuddles on their bed! They didn’t just look after Ralphie, they truly loved and cared for him as if he were their own. We came home to a happy, content dog, which says more than words ever could. Janie and Derek aren’t just dog sitters, they are genuinely special people and finding them feels like winning the dog sitter lottery. We wouldn’t hesitate to trust them with Ralphie again, and we already can’t imagine anyone else looking after him. Ralphie didn’t just stay with Janie and Derek, he was treated like he was their own, loved, understood and completely at home, and that is all any dog parent could ever ask for. They provide genuine care, affection and peace of mind. If you’re reading this and wondering whether to book them — stop wondering and book them. You will never regret the best choice you will ever make for your pet!”

“Our dogs second stay with Sol and they enjoyed themselves as much as ever. We really appreciated the photos and videos so we could see how they were doing. Sol is very thoughtful and attentive to them and gives them plenty of love and care. We know they are in good hands . All has a lovely home and garden with an abundance of great exploring and sniffing areas which they both love. Thank you so much Sol for giving our precious girls a lovely time. I highly recommend Sol. She’s wonderful.”

“Lynette and Paul were so lovely with Ted - he was happy and waggy when I dropped him off and when I picked him up, too. He clearly had been made to feel like a part of the family. Thank you very much!”

“Deborah was amazing with Jessie. She really put my mind at ease whilst I was out of the country knowing she was in good hands. Will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Rosie had such a wonderful time with Jodie and her family. She was absolutely spoilt with plenty of walks and affection. We received lots of updates whilst we were away and communication was great. Very thankful to Jodie for accomodating our last minute request too.”

“Michelle was a fabulous host! When I dropped our dog Lili, she warmly welcomed us and I could instantly tell she is a true dog lover and Lili will have a great time. Michelle sent me daily updates during Lili’s stay. I cannot recommend Michelle enough. I will definitely ask Michelle to look after Lili again in the future.”

“I couldn’t be happier with Luna’s dog boarding experience! I received so many pictures and videos of her playing, having fun, and clearly feeling right at home. It was such a relief to see her so happy and well cared for. She had an amazing time, and I truly can’t recommend Charlotte and John highly enough!”

“Marie is fantastic - she gave our dog long walks during the day and snuggles in the evening- which is just what she needed. Marie sent me an update every day so I knew what adventures our dog had been on. Our dog has come home looking relaxed and healthy - I'd have no hesitation in recommending Marie.”

“Oliver has been such a wonderful dog sitter! Flexible, super responsive, kind and so generosity with our dogs. I’m especially grateful given the last minute booking, we will definitely be using Oliver again. Cooper and Molly are especially grateful for the chicken filled trip to the cafe.”

“Lucy was brilliant, it was the first time we had left our fur baby, Lucy made us feel so comfortable, she provided loads of pupdates and her own dog Edie is a real sweetheart who was best friends with our dog in no time ! Would thoroughly recommend Lucy to anyone. Thank you and we will be back soon!”

“Natalie was absolutely lovely and we had total confidence in her from the outset. She came to meet Ted a few days before he stayed with her and took the trouble to get to know him She was always quick to respond, and kept us updated with photos throughout his stay. Ted clearly had a lovely time with her and even came home with some new toys! We highly recommend her.”

“Thank you Lisa for looking after our special little boy Barkley it sounds like he had the most wonderful time and was a little sad to have to return. 100% recommend Lisa”

“Olivia and her boyfriend came to house sit our 10 week old kitten parsnip for a night. I was a bit apprehensive about leaving her for so long, and about inviting someone into our home. Thankfully, Olivia offered to visit the day before to meet us and get to know our kitten. Throughout the day, she gave us regular updates about parsnip, playing with her and keeping her safe and entertained. She safely deposited our keys into a secure environment, kept our flat super tidy, and stripped the bed. This was her first time cat sitting, with previous experience of having cats and kittens in the past. We could not fault her and we’ll definitely be using her again! Thank you!”

About: I am open to discuss the price of longer bookings. I have dedicated a lot of time to educate myself on animal behaviour and training to make sure animals feel comfortable with me. I’m no expert but have first hand experience with a wide range of animal breeds. I’ve completed a lot of sits now with lots of happy customers. I’ve looked after big dogs, tiny dogs, birds, cats and even horses! Making me an excellent choice for your pet . <3 I have recently had a baby (currently 5 months old) so any overnight sits would have to consider him being with me! About: I’m a huge animal lover and have been caring for pets for as long as I can remember. I got my very first pet at the age of 10, and from that point on animals have always been a huge part of my life. I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while in my care 🤍 I have experience with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I’m confident when it comes to reading behaviour and assessing situations on walks or around other dogs. I’m responsible, calm, and attentive, and I always prioritise a pet’s safety and wellbeing. I’m happy to stick to strict feeding routines, medication schedules, and any specific instructions provided by owners. I spent a full year dog sitting through TrustedHousesitters, caring for pets in their own homes and maintaining their routines while owners were away. I’ve also regularly looked after and walked dogs for friends and family. One close friend trusts me so much that she flies me out to Switzerland specifically to cat and dog sit for her. I believe playtime, enrichment, and affection are just as important as exercise. Whether that’s long walks, gentle companionship, mental stimulation, or cosy cuddles on the sofa, I tailor my care to each individual pet’s needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I always go above and beyond to provide loving, reliable, and attentive care — treating every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I prioritise flexibility and reliability, making sure pets receive consistent care, attention, and companionship. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, play, and check-ins so pets can stick to their usual routine and feel settled and secure. I care for pets as if they were my own, always prioritising safety, calm, and routine. I closely follow owners’ instructions, keep environments secure, and respect each pet’s individual needs and boundaries. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after at all times.

About: Hi there! My name is Caitlin Pautz, but I usually just go by Cait. I am 22 years old and I've been around pets since before I can even remember and one thing is for certain: no home is a home without happy pets. In June 2022, my family and I have moved to England from South Africa. I have 2 older dogs of my own, a Yorkshire terrier named Pixel and a mixed breed named Missy. We brought them across from South Africa as they are just part of our family and it wasn't even an option to leave them behind! So they flew! I have previously been an independent dog sitter for a French Bulldog, Gizmo. He was so full of energy and definitely kept me busy, but we got on like a house on fire. I have also had occasional jobs for our friends when they go away, looking after their house and furry friends. My most recent role was on an ongoing basis for 2 years before I moved out of Bristol, where I would do a house visit every Saturday morning, with a dog walk and feed the cats, as well occasionally house sit when the couple went away. It was a beautiful Pomeranian and 5 gorgeous black cats, who definitely opened up to me and got rather affectionate with me! I am available for house or pet sittings with overnight stays. I am trustworthy and independent and know how to keep our fur babies happy. I am very flexible towards your needs and genuinely just happy to help! No request is too big or too small, contact me. I am DBS checked if that is a requirement for you. I am currently on placement in London. It is a hybrid role with two days in the office and the rest is work from home. This can also be flexible if needed. I treat my pets as part of the family. I am more than willing to work with each pet’s needs and adjust accordingly, and will always communicate with you on where we’re at and how your furry friend is feeling.
About: Growing up we always had a dog who was a special family member. We had springer spaniels and labradors along with an epileptic white cat. I enjoy spending time with dogs, talking to them, grooming them or just playing. We wanted a family dog for years but as our jobs didn’t allow this in the past we were never able to commit as dogs need so much time, love and affection. My current job now allows me to have the time to spend with your dogs instead. I work from home with a flexible work environment that allows me to spend time with your furry friends. Being self employed I am not at the beck and call of a boss, this allows me to enjoy time with your dogs. We have a fenced off back garden where your dog can spend time safely and the house is also a comfortable and relaxing environment. Depending on your dogs needs, I can accommodate any specific requirements. I love spending time with your furry friends ensuring they feel comfortable in their home from home.

Your pet will feel right at home with us! 🐾 :-) We are home all day :-) and will dedicate time and love to your precious member of your family :-) We absolutely adore all animals big or small. Fully enclosed and fenced garden. Nice and comfy house for you pets to come and stay with us. :-) We absolutely adore all animals big or small.
“Kathryn & Lewis walked my 2 dogs whilst I was on holiday and my elderly parents were dog sitting. The boys got excited everytime Lewis came to pick them up and he kindly put their leads on as they get quite excited when they go for their walks.i had daily updates and photos. I will definitely use Kathryn and Lewis again for dog walking and will make use of their other services they provide. Thanks Kathryn & Lewis.”

About: I absolutely love dogs, and am passionate about learning more about dogs. I have owned dogs for over 8 years now, and dogs matter so much in my life. I have been very used to walking up to five dogs at a time, some off-lead but mostly on the lead, whilst providing training for recall and time for play. I have provided pet sitting for nearly all of my friends dogs, either in their home or my own, and my own dog Winnie has thrived from making so many friends. I have experience walking rescued dogs, who have experienced high levels of anxiety due to the mistreatment they have suffered. I am truly a dog lover, a nature lover, and am determined to always provide the best experience possible. I currently tutor in the evenings, so would like to fill as much of my weekday as possible with pet care. As long as your home has a WiFi connection, I am happy to do overnight stays during the week to offer more care to your pet. I will want to understand a lot about your dog’s personality, and work around that. I believe that every animal is different, and has different needs, so I want to make sure I provide the best service possible. I like to hold communication with you, as the owner, to make sure you’re always in the loop.
About: I’ve handled more furry, feathery, and neigh-saying friends than we can count. Growing up, my life was pretty chaotic with a Springer Spaniel who could run laps around a field and a Dachshund who believed she was Queen of the sofa. From big, boisterous pups to tiny divas, I have looked after all breeds and sizes. My grandparents' farm added a few bonus skills to my resume: I’ve wrangled chickens, had a love for horses, and even assisted with breeding a multitude of pups — imagine a real-life Folly Farm in my house! If your pet enjoys long walks, lots of belly rubs, and a a handful of treats, I’m here to help. One of my top priorities is suiting care around your dogs needs and giving medication if needed. I’ve cared for dachshunds that can’t jump, Labradors with dysplasia and dogs who are blind and need a little extra help getting around. Pop me a message if you’re interested in getting in touch. Looking forward to meeting your four-legged friends soon! 🐾 I am currently a freelance artist so my schedule is very flexible and can fit around your needs. My day starts around 5/6am and I walk into the evening hours 7/8pm. I have a car and am fully mobile with lots of space in the back for my furry friends! In my home I have a big garden with lots of space for bigger or smaller dogs - with lots of areas to sniff! If more space is needed I live walking distance away from a large field. My own little fur baby, Daphne the Dachshund, has steps to get around the house and onto higher ground (the sofa). In your home I am happy to follow the routine your dog is used to as this is the most important thing - to keep them comfortable! I am happy to walk around your area in places your dog is used to and happy to bring along other furry friends on walks if your dog is more sociable! if not, and your dog prefers more 1-on-1 time, solo walks are great fun too!

About: I have been caring for dogs for most of my life, with family pets always being a constant presence as I grew up. Since joining Rover in 2024, I’ve looked after a wide range of dogs, alongside many years of experience caring for friends’ and family members’ pets, including overnight stays. I also have experience with cats, animal rescue, and voluntary wildlife and animal-handling work, which has given me a calm and confident approach with animals of all temperaments and needs. In addition, I have hands-on experience with dog and puppy training, having trained our own family dogs and regularly attended professional training sessions. I’m happy to support your dog with basic training and reinforcement during their stay, if that’s something you’d find helpful. I’m extremely passionate about animal care, especially dogs and cats, and pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and genuinely committed to each pet’s wellbeing. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and safety will always come first with me! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine, as I have a flexible schedule and can work from home when needed. This allows me to provide full-time supervision, regular companionship, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to plan my day around a dog’s needs, including multiple walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of calm downtime. I truly enjoy having animals around and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and included as part of the household. I am currently also spending my time volunteering and helping with family. So I have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry pals!! I provide a calm, safe, and caring environment both in my home and when caring for pets in an owner’s home. We live rurally with a fenced garden, which offers plenty of space for secure outdoor play, training, and enrichment, with less risk of busy public interference. Our home is very private, with many secluded and safe walking routes nearby, as well as a large garden for exercise and stimulation. I also have dog crates available if they are needed for comfort or routine, although I don’t generally use them unless requested by the owner. We do have one cat, but she is an outdoor cat, is very used to dogs, and does not come inside. I always ensure pets are introduced carefully and that every animal in my care is safe and comfortable. Above all, I prioritise safety, routine, and treating every dog as if they were my own!
