I work full-time in local government with mostly home working and relaxed start/ finish times. I walk up to 10km everyday, so would keep your furry friend happy and active and I’d love the added company! I have a fenced garden for toilet trips and a 7 year old shi-poo to keep your dog company. Flexible on preferred sleeping arrangements, whether a crate or in a dog bed downstairs or in the bedroom.
About: I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes and have plenty of experience of dog care and walking, our family dogs are a Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla and a Minature Schnauzer but have puppy and senior dog experience too as we have had many family dogs over the years. I also help out with a family home dog boarding business so have lots of different breed experience. i have a passion for all animals but dogs in particular and will take care of your pets like they are my own! I'm currently working full-time from home but can do this from your home, this makes me available for your pets at all times. I am also available on the weekends so can fit around your holiday. When taking care of your pet in your home I will follow your pet's routine and look after your home. I will give your pets lots of love and attention and exercise as per your instructions. I will also keep you up to date throughout the stay if you wish.
About: A trustworthy companion to your little loved one! I’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards and snakes since I was a small child. I have cared for animals most of my life. I’ve taken care of family and friends pets on and off since I was 16, dealing with animals of all shapes and sizes. I just love spending time with animals. I am available most nights during the week as well as some weekends. If arranged in advance I am able to stay for as long as is required. I will oblige to any and rules you set for your pet and follow any instructions exactly. My approach is positive and friendly trying to relax animals and spending time giving them affection.
About: Living on a farm, I’ve grown up with large and small animals and have had dogs for as long as I can remember. My own dog, Evie is my world so I understand the importance of finding the right person to trust with the care of your dog. Insured and crb checked I recently moved back from Cardiff to the family farm so I could help my dad and I’ve gone part time so I only work in the evenings, most of the rest of the day, I am flexible. When taking dogs for walks, I would be using a lead to keep your dog safe. I am looking into dog proofing a field at home to use for of leash dog walking but this would depend on how much demand there is.
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience. My family have had two whippets for over 10 years, and I helped care for them through all stages of their lives. This gave me experience with both lively younger dogs and the gentler care older pets need. I’m reliable, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved, while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I’m an artist, so I’m often outside working, and I enjoy being active every day. Walking and spending time with pets fits perfectly into that lifestyle. I’m organised, flexible, and make sure caring for pets is always a priority alongside my other commitments. In a pet owner’s home, I follow their routines closely so pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they have fresh food, water, exercise, and plenty of attention. I keep their space clean and safe, and I always give updates so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I absolutely love dogs, and am passionate about learning more about dogs. I have owned dogs for over 8 years now, and dogs matter so much in my life. I have been very used to walking up to five dogs at a time, some off-lead but mostly on the lead, whilst providing training for recall and time for play. I have provided pet sitting for nearly all of my friends dogs, either in their home or my own, and my own dog Winnie has thrived from making so many friends. I have experience walking rescued dogs, who have experienced high levels of anxiety due to the mistreatment they have suffered. I am truly a dog lover, a nature lover, and am determined to always provide the best experience possible. I currently tutor in the evenings, so would like to fill as much of my weekday as possible with pet care. As long as your home has a WiFi connection, I am happy to do overnight stays during the week to offer more care to your pet. I will want to understand a lot about your dog’s personality, and work around that. I believe that every animal is different, and has different needs, so I want to make sure I provide the best service possible. I like to hold communication with you, as the owner, to make sure you’re always in the loop.
About: I have been caring for dogs for most of my life, with family pets always being a constant presence as I grew up. Since joining Rover in 2024, I’ve looked after a wide range of dogs, alongside many years of experience caring for friends’ and family members’ pets, including overnight stays. I also have experience with cats, animal rescue, and voluntary wildlife and animal-handling work, which has given me a calm and confident approach with animals of all temperaments and needs. In addition, I have hands-on experience with dog and puppy training, having trained our own family dogs and regularly attended professional training sessions. I’m happy to support your dog with basic training and reinforcement during their stay, if that’s something you’d find helpful. I’m extremely passionate about animal care, especially dogs and cats, and pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and genuinely committed to each pet’s wellbeing. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and safety will always come first with me! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine, as I have a flexible schedule and can work from home when needed. This allows me to provide full-time supervision, regular companionship, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to plan my day around a dog’s needs, including multiple walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of calm downtime. I truly enjoy having animals around and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and included as part of the household. I am currently also spending my time volunteering and helping with family. So I have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry pals!! I provide a calm, safe, and caring environment both in my home and when caring for pets in an owner’s home. We live rurally with a fenced garden, which offers plenty of space for secure outdoor play, training, and enrichment, with less risk of busy public interference. Our home is very private, with many secluded and safe walking routes nearby, as well as a large garden for exercise and stimulation. I also have dog crates available if they are needed for comfort or routine, although I don’t generally use them unless requested by the owner. We do have one cat, but she is an outdoor cat, is very used to dogs, and does not come inside. I always ensure pets are introduced carefully and that every animal in my care is safe and comfortable. Above all, I prioritise safety, routine, and treating every dog as if they were my own!
“Olivia and her boyfriend came to house sit our 10 week old kitten parsnip for a night. I was a bit apprehensive about leaving her for so long, and about inviting someone into our home. Thankfully, Olivia offered to visit the day before to meet us and get to know our kitten. Throughout the day, she gave us regular updates about parsnip, playing with her and keeping her safe and entertained. She safely deposited our keys into a secure environment, kept our flat super tidy, and stripped the bed. This was her first time cat sitting, with previous experience of having cats and kittens in the past. We could not fault her and we’ll definitely be using her again! Thank you!”

About: I grew up with animals all around me, caring for cats, dogs, chickens, and lots more! Over half my life I have been taking care of dogs especially. My most recent dog, Chaco really became my soul mate. He sadly passed away in 2022 and since then, it has helped my soul to be able to bond with the lovely pets I meet through Rover. I absolutely love going on long walks in the countryside and taking pups along for the adventure! I am equally a cat person, so I welcome any chance I get to spend time with them too ☺️ I work from home, or remotely, so my life is very flexible to fit around caring for animals. Several times per day I like to get out for walks, nature is a top priority for me. I have a completely enclosed courtyard if your pup wants to be outside, a large home which I live in by myself, no other pets but your pup will be very cared for and lots of attention from me :) I am happy for you to bring a crate if your dog does better sleeping in that, although I am also happy for them to relax on the couch with me and if they get up on the bed that’s fine too!
About: Prior to moving to Bristol, I lived on my family's farm for 25 years, looking after everything from dogs and cats to farm animals and geese - you name it! I then spent several years in Kenya working to improve the welfare of dogs in a remote Maasai village, as well as working with the local people to address some of the stigmas surrounding dogs in the area. My family still own three lovely dogs (one elderly Labrador - Mabel, and two cheeky corgis - Myfi and puppy Bryn) who I regularly look after and walk, alongside walking and sitting friends' pets when they are in need. I now work on a freelance basis for an arts organisation, so have a lot of flexibillity and time, which I would love to fill with some wonderful new four-legged friends! I have lived with and loved animals for my entire life. Plenty of experience with senior dogs + cats, puppies and kittens - if you are looking for a safe, experienced pair of hands, who has the flexibility to work around you, please feel free to get in touch! I work flexibly from home Tuesdays - Fridays, meaning that I am available for pet care at all times of day on those days (with very occasional exceptions), and weekends! Get in touch to discuss what works for you. I live in a comfortable flat with my partner in Cotham, a short walk away from beautiful green spaces such as The Downs to enjoy all lengths of walks. You know your own pet best, and whether in my own home or yours, I am all about following the routines that work for you.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover based in Redland, Bristol, just a 5-minute walk from Redland Park and 15 minutes from the Downs, so your dog will always have somewhere brilliant to explore. Pets have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there were always cats and dogs around the house, often several at a time. I spent 3 years working professionally as a pet sitter across Australia and Bristol, caring for all kinds of animals and learning how to read their needs, keep them calm, and make sure they feel right at home even when their owners aren’t around. I live in a converted coach house; a lovely, self-contained space with no shared walls or communal areas, so your pet gets a calm, quiet environment all to themselves. No busy blocks of flats, no other animals unless pre-arranged. As a freelancer, my schedule is genuinely flexible. I’m not watching the clock; your pet’s routine comes first, and I’ll work around whatever they need, whether that’s an extra lunchtime walk, a slow morning, or just a bit of extra cuddle time on the sofa. I work as a freelancer so my time is flexible and will work around the needs of your pet! Their needs, and yours, always come first I live in a quiet residential neighborhood very close to several green spaces. If I’m looking after your cat they will be kept inside for their safety. However, I have a cat lead to take the out for some fresh air. When you contact me please outline everything I need to know about yours and your pets needs, this includes how much you’d like me to message you throughout our time together to ease your mind whilst you’re away from one another, as I’d like to make sure everyone feels safe and reassured throughout.
