Having worked in the animal welfare and veterinary industry (and experience with my own pets) I am confident in administering medications and understanding the complex needs that your furry companions may have. Each animal is different and it’s really important they receive care tailored to them and their personalities. I am insured, DBS checked and first aid certified; giving you the assurance you need that your pets are in responsible and caring hands. I offer drop-ins, overnight stays and dog walks full time, whenever you need a helping hand with your much loved furry family members, I am there to support you! I am not currently accepting homeboarding, however with all of my visits regardless the length, I adapt my routine to what your pets needs are and how best I can serve them. About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.

Since joining Rover in 2024, I’ve looked after a wide range of dogs, alongside many years of experience caring for friends’ and family members’ pets, including overnight stays. Our home is very private, with many secluded and safe walking routes nearby, as well as a large garden for exercise and stimulation. I also have dog crates available if they are needed for comfort or routine, although I don’t generally use them unless requested by the owner. We do have one cat, but she is an outdoor cat, is very used to dogs, and does not come inside. I always ensure pets are introduced carefully and that every animal in my care is safe and comfortable. Above all, I prioritise safety, routine, and treating every dog as if they were my own!

I am happy for them to have free roam of the house or if you’d prefer, I can crate them at bed times as to not disrupt their routine you’ve set for them. About: We were never allowed a dog when we were little (my and my sister) but then we inherited a dog from my grandparents and she couldn’t fit better to our slightly strange family - she was ridiculous and so funny. Lived till 16 and could’ve gone a bit longer but we decided that with her health issues it was better to say goodbye to her. That was last September and I still miss her like hell so connecting with other dogs makes this whole situation a bit better. I’m a freelance chef although I work very little in that area now. I also work online so can work from any location as long as I’ve got WiFi. That gives me a lot of time to provide the animals I take care of with lots of attention. I love finding out about their favourite toys or snacks to make the process of their parents being away easier. I’m very loving and caring, treat them like my own.

Here’s how it typically fits in: Morning: Wake-up nudge: Your dog might be your alarm clock. First task? A quick potty break or walk. Feeding time: You prep their breakfast while maybe grabbing your own. Grooming check: A quick brush, paw check, or wiping off muddy paws if needed. Midday: Exercise/play: Whether you're on a lunch break or home during the day, this is a chance to stretch legs and play fetch or tug. Mental stimulation: Maybe a puzzle toy, a training session, or even just some one-on-one time. Evening: Walk or play session: A wind-down activity that burns off energy. About: I absolutely love dogs, and am passionate about learning more about dogs. I have owned dogs for over 8 years now, and dogs matter so much in my life. I have been very used to walking up to five dogs at a time, some off-lead but mostly on the lead, whilst providing training for recall and time for play. I have provided pet sitting for nearly all of my friends dogs, either in their home or my own, and my own dog Winnie has thrived from making so many friends. I have experience walking rescued dogs, who have experienced high levels of anxiety due to the mistreatment they have suffered. I am truly a dog lover, a nature lover, and am determined to always provide the best experience possible. I currently tutor in the evenings, so would like to fill as much of my weekday as possible with pet care. As long as your home has a WiFi connection, I am happy to do overnight stays during the week to offer more care to your pet. I will want to understand a lot about your dog’s personality, and work around that. About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was a child. I enjoy walking dogs, taking them to the beach and open fields where they can sniff to their heart’s content. I have walked dogs for family, friends and neighbours for the last 10 years. I currently work part time as I’m now retired. I only work two days a week. I am available to look after your pet during the week and weekends. I have a fenced back garden with no side access. I have 2 very friendly and dislike border collies which will keep your fur babies company. I do have two large crates should you prefer.
