“Excellent care provided by Charlotte, with my 2 cats. I felt reassured from the meet and greet that my fur babies would be in good care. Super friendly, lots of lovely pics sent for each visit. I definitely recommend Charlotte and will be rebooking again.”

“Such a positive experience as a first time user of support for my Border Terriers. Alison was professional punctual and communicative which all made the experience very smooth..but more importantly my dogs took to her and her home instantly and the videos and pictures made me fear they may not want to come home! Next stay is already booked 😁”

About: I can give a cat a pill, find a camouflaged whippet and help with training the bounciest of puppies. I am flexible, caring and outgoing. For my current routine I am available on weekday before 8:30 at lunch time and anytime after 17:00. I am also flexible to work on the weekends. I am a trustworthy person who will treat your home with the upmost respect I’m addition to giving quality care to your pet. . .

About: I have approximately 6 years of experience in dog sitting and dog walking. I am confident in providing reliable, attentive care tailored to each pet’s individual needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times. I am currently fully available, which allows me to be flexible and dedicate plenty of time, love, and attention to each pet. I take pride in creating a calm, safe, and caring environment where your pets feel comfortable, happy, and well looked after while you’re away. I care for pets in my own home to the highest standard, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment. I ensure they receive appropriate exercise, including regular onehour walks suited to breeds such as French Bulldogs, keeping them happy, relaxed, and well looked after
About: I’ve cared for dogs for many years, beginning with family and friends’ dogs, helping with walking, feeding, and day-to-day care. Four years ago, after a change in jobs, I welcomed my own dog, Booby a English Springer Spaniel so I’m very familiar with high-energy breeds and the importance of regular exercise, mental stimulation, and routine. Daily walks and outdoor time are a big part of my life. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I understand that energetic dogs need both structure and patience, and I’m happy to tailor walks or visits to suit their personality, pace, and routine. I’ll always treat your dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work full time, so I offer dog walking and drop-in visits during evenings and at weekends. This fits naturally into my routine as I already spend much of my free time outdoors walking with my own dog. I’m organised, reliable, and happy to stick to agreed times and routines. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I carefully follow owner instructions, keep dogs secure on leads during walks, and make sure they feel comfortable and settled during visits. I’m calm, attentive, and respectful of your home, and I’m always happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: I've always had animals growing up varying from cats and dogs to hamsters and fish so I understand the care and trust required to taking care of them. I have taken care of animals with my family from a young age including cat and dog sitting as well as daily check ins, socialising and feeds. Most recently I have been on standby for relatives pets when I'm available, usually during school holidays however decided that it's time to offer my services to the wider community. I have had experience training two of my own puppies as well as providing senior care to my relatives dog when sitting, including providing medication. Typically in term time, I am a teacher meaning my availability shortens to evenings and weekends however from June - September I work from home and can therefore be flexible to work around what's best for you and your pet. During school holidays my availability will become larger rather than being evening and weekend based. I'm currently working on a zero hour contract therefore my weekly schedule is super flexible as I work from home. I have my own dog so tend to take him out twice a day alongside a morning and evening feed with lots of playing in between! Due to my flexibility I can work around your schedule to ensure your furry friends are cared for. I am happy to come over for a home visit prior to your first booking to meet yourselves as well as your pet(s) to ensure they have a level of familiarity with me upon the first time we go on a walk or pop in for a visit. This allows you to see how comfortable your pet(s) will be in my company for peace of mind along side allowing me to gain any information from you such as feed times / amounts / walking routes your pet is most comfortable with or toys they enjoy playing with the most.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on the Gower with a country-farm lifestyle meant daily life with all sorts of companions! From the little ones (my hamster was called Ray Charles) to the ones with wings (chickens and pigeons) through to kitties, dogs, goats and even horses. That upbringing shaped my passion for compassionate, patient care, especially for rescue animals who need a little extra understanding. I’m confident with different temperaments and ages, happy to follow detailed instructions, and committed to welfare-first - it is always stress-free care. I treat every pet like family as that’s what they deserve! I work remotely and currently work from home Wednesday - Friday, which means I have plenty of time for fuss, play, and pop-in visits across the week. I’m a very active person, getting some fresh air at lunchtime and after work to mentally reset - furry friends are essential companions! Weekends I’m very flexible and able to provide longer term sitting solutions, including overnight care. I currently have two beautiful (and probably a little spoiled) tabby cats and a lively cocker spaniel puppy! My cats spend time indoors and outdoors with a designated safe and quiet space in my attic with lots of cosy cubbies, cat towers and toys. I have a fully enclosed garden with lawn (which is great for snuffle activities) with a level patio for play with toys and little games of fetch.
“Katy has been incredible from start to finish. Very friendly and amazing. Felt very comfortable trusting her with Judo and she kept me updated as much as possible which is greatly appreciated. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Would definitely book again when I next go away. 😊”

About: I absolutely adore all animals! I am patient, kind and caring. I would love to take care, walk and feed your fur babies for you when needed. I have welcomed quite a few pets into my home over the past year now and I know some great spots for dog walks! I teach swimming lessons Monday to Wednesday from 1pm-7:30pm and then work from home Thursday to Friday and have the weekends free for nice long walks I live in a 2 bedroom flat which is quite spacious, I have a large fenced off garden and I have some lovely dog walks near by. I would require their dog bowls/food & a doggy bed. I can provide the rest. I can provide regular potty breaks as I am home most of the time.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
