About: I’ve had dogs in my life since my earliest memory and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge along the way. I’ve been training my own dogs and other peoples dogs for over 25 years. Your dogs would be kept in a relaxed and caring environment, and will receive the same love and attention as my own dogs . I’m currently home all day, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your dogs my full love and attention. I’m available to board dogs 7 days a week for short breaks or extended holidays, if booked in advance. I have a fenced garden to keep your dogs safe, and also have my own two dogs to keep your dogs company and have someone to play with. Dogs can also be crated if needed. I can also make sure your dogs have daily walks if applicable in a lovely environment.

From the moment we met them, they made us feel completely at ease, and it was obvious how much they genuinely care about the dogs they look after. We received regular updates, photos and videos throughout our holiday, which meant we could truly relax knowing Ozzy was happy, safe and having the best time. He was treated like one of the family, with plenty of love, attention, walks and playtime. Ozzy can be a little nervous in new situations because of his previous eye injury, but they were incredibly patient, understanding and kind with him. Since coming home, we've actually noticed a real difference in his behaviour. About: Dogs have been a big part of my life since I was a child, and we have owned various breeds. Most recently we had a labrador, Ella who we sadly recently lost at 10.5years old. So I have experience caring for senior dogs and giving medications if required (I'm also a registered nurse). I've informally cared for family and friends dogs, taking them for walks, completing check-ins and having overnight stays at my home. Currently we haven't yet got another dog, so have a pet-free home with a large secure garden. Looking forward to getting to know your furry friends and taking them on some outdoor adventures 🐾 I do shift work so have several days free each week to be available for your dog's needs. For overnight stays I would need advance notice, and can only be accommodated in my own home. I have a large secure garden and able to provide 1:1 interaction for your furry friend. Also have a dog crate available and dog ramp for senior or those with mobility issues if going on some longer walks.

“This was our first ever experience at home boarding our puppy , who has lots of energy, doesn't always listen and needs a lot of attention. Sean sent photos and videos daily and my mind was put at rest from the very first day. He got along quite well with Darcy through out and another puppy who was there for a day. Therefore she now has history with this breed & their loving but sometimes crazy nature🤪 Shan has had experience, being a co-owner to Coco, a Shihtzu cross for 8 years, who was a yappy madam🤭 We both have cared for other dogs such as Buddy the Yorkie, who we fostered for a year🥹 Dolly the frenchie who we rehomed, who was Shan’s Grancha’s beloved dog🥺 And, we’ve had the pleasure of spending time with our family & friends dog’s over the years, walking & watching them. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
