We had regular updates when we asked how he was, he went on walks, cwtched on the sofa, played ball and overall was very well taken care of. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, I lost my beautiful miley a few months ago (my 12 year old Frenchy) and it still hurts, it's too early to get a new dog so im opening up my home and life to yours I offer so much love and care I've had dogs my life, different breeds, different temperaments and know every dog is different and every dog needs different attention, all we ask is to know everything about your dog so we can give him or her exactly what they need while your away were hoping to offer everything from overnight stays to walks to home care. We want you dog to feel safe secure and happy. My beautiful fur baby unfortunately passed away recently so I currently have no routine, I'm more than happy to mimic your current routine to your fur baby Our garden is huge, and fenced off with two gates that have signs not to open we are happy to mimic your home routine as much as possible so your babies don't get home sick.
“Fab experience with Mandy from start to finish, quick replies setting up meet and greet to meet my dog to start, meet and greet went really good, Mandy showed me around her home and talked a little about her routine would be. Communication continued after meet and greet, then when booking came, Mandy was in contact to arrange times etc. Communication all weekend with pictures and videos of my dog. “I was a bit worried about leaving Myloe but he seemed at home at the meet and greet and when we dropped him off. Judging by the photos he seemed to enjoy himself especially with the children. However as Myloe is quite sensitive he did stress as he rarely away from at least one of us and had several accidents. Full marks to Amy who took everything in her stride and let us know how things were going. Thanks Amy for looking after him, trying to destress him and what probably felt like endless mopping up. About: I’ve always lived my life alongside a four legged friend. From cats, to dogs, to tortoises. I have daily experience of looking after cats, including my own two, and have been a dog walker in London for the last eight months. I am used to caring for cats and dogs- be it for an afternoon or for a weekend- and I am very conscientious when they are in my care. I am a recent graduate that currently works part time with a teaching agency. My current work schedule means that I can be available to pet sit all day/weekend or walk your pet with a day’s notice. I have a fenced garden with astroturf where your pet will be safe to run around without having to leave the house. Alternatively my house faces onto extended fields and nature walks where I can happily walk your pet if a longer/ more exerting walking session is required. I also live with two adult cats that tend to curl up on their cushions on the windowsill and typically keep themselves to themselves.

I knew myloe was going to be fine and as soon as he got to Sophie's because he started to explore. He settled straight in. I'm not sure he wanted to come home. He seems to have had a great time playing with the children and Sophie was really caring. He's come back home tired out which is a good sign that he's enjoyed himself. We will be booking Sophie again soon as we're very happy with the service she has provided

Ingrid was so lovely and helpful. She helped us out after we'd been let down last minute and needed someone to look after our dog during our wedding week. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
