About: I have lived with animals in and around my home since I was little, and sincerely believe that pets are as much a part of family as other people. I have experience within the pet retail industry, once working for a small independent local pet store, and have extensive knowledge on pet products and pet care. I have a natural friendship with pets, and having dog/ cat sat for family and friends have cemented myself as their pets best friend- And after many years still receive wagging tails and zoomies when I turn up at their house! Growing up my family dog was a very hungry and very friendly Chocolate Labrador named Mambo, who I delighted in giving copious walks, playtime, and treats. I currently live with my fiance and my cat son, Mister Pebbles, who is the lord of the house. He is seven years old but doesn't act like it, and requires daily medicine and a strict routine. While Mister Pebbles was my fiance's cat initially, I have over the years developed a strong father-son bond with him, and much to my fiances dismay may have become the favourite parent. I have access to my own vehicle, and can be flexible according to both you and your pets needs. I am currently unemployed, focusing much of my time on being a good house husband to my fiance. I intend on pursuing a PhD part-time in the new year, and I am excited to work my pet sitting duties around this. In the meantime I am fully flexible and available, own my own vehicle, and am able to fit my schedule around the needs of yourself and your pet. I am reliable, responsible, and communicative, and will endeavour to supply peace of mind throughout every step of our journey together. As both a pet owner and a homeowner, I fully understand how much anxiety can arise from trusting your home and pets with a new sitter. I am more than happy to field any and all questions you may have for me prior to you making your booking. Even if a quick chat with me would ease your mind, I am more than happy to accommodate!

About: Hello! I’ve grown up in a pet-loving family and currently have my own two cats (Spooky and Teemu) and one year old working Labrador (Otis). I absolutely love pets and understand how important it is to know that your pets are safe, happy and loved for when you’re away. I can’t wait for the opportunity to meet and care for your pet! Note: unless otherwise requested, I will walk your dog separately to my own! I work full-time in a hybrid role. My work from home days are flexible but tend to be Monday and Friday. Please just reach out if there are specific days/times your pet needs care for as I’m happy to be flexible where possible! I have two cats and one dog. My services will therefore be limited to drop ins, walks and sitting at your property. Unless requested otherwise, all dog walks will take place with your dog only. My own dog will be walked separately.

About: I’ve had dogs around me for as long as I can remember and have always loved caring for them. I’ve had my own dog, Rufus, for the past 5 years and he truly is the centre of my world. I’ve also regularly cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs, from taking them on walks to looking after them while their owners are away. My boyfriend’s dog is diabetic and blind, so I also have experience caring for a dog with more complex needs and understand the importance of patience, routine and extra attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities, ages and needs, and I treat every dog in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. I currently work full time as a Teaching Assistant at a Trauma Informed School. As a result of this, I have availability on the weekends, the regular half terms and the 6 week break in the summer. I provide reliable care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I'll follow your pet's usual routines upon instruction of yourself, aswell as keeping your home tidy and ensuring the safety of your pet. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I understand that every pet is different, and I'll take the time to get to know their individual personality and needs.

About: I have been caring for dogs for most of my life, with family pets always being a constant presence as I grew up. Since joining Rover in 2024, I’ve looked after a wide range of dogs, alongside many years of experience caring for friends’ and family members’ pets, including overnight stays. I also have experience with cats, animal rescue, and voluntary wildlife and animal-handling work, which has given me a calm and confident approach with animals of all temperaments and needs. In addition, I have hands-on experience with dog and puppy training, having trained our own family dogs and regularly attended professional training sessions. I’m happy to support your dog with basic training and reinforcement during their stay, if that’s something you’d find helpful. I’m extremely passionate about animal care, especially dogs and cats, and pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and genuinely committed to each pet’s wellbeing. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and safety will always come first with me! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine, as I have a flexible schedule and can work from home when needed. This allows me to provide full-time supervision, regular companionship, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to plan my day around a dog’s needs, including multiple walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of calm downtime. I truly enjoy having animals around and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and included as part of the household. I am currently also spending my time volunteering and helping with family. So I have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry pals!! I provide a calm, safe, and caring environment both in my home and when caring for pets in an owner’s home. We live rurally with a fenced garden, which offers plenty of space for secure outdoor play, training, and enrichment, with less risk of busy public interference. Our home is very private, with many secluded and safe walking routes nearby, as well as a large garden for exercise and stimulation. I also have dog crates available if they are needed for comfort or routine, although I don’t generally use them unless requested by the owner. We do have one cat, but she is an outdoor cat, is very used to dogs, and does not come inside. I always ensure pets are introduced carefully and that every animal in my care is safe and comfortable. Above all, I prioritise safety, routine, and treating every dog as if they were my own!

“Haven't left my cat before, and was a little nervous as she is 22yrs old and on meds. Communication with Taylor was great, plus Georgie took to her right away which is unusual. Lots of pictures and good feedback after both visits..even one of my bird which Taylor wasn't responsible for 🙂. This was something of a trial run for me, but excellent care and I would be extreemly comfortable booking Taylor again for a longer trip away. Highly recommend.”

About: I have always had animals and particularly love dogs. I previously did lots of dog walking and pet sitting through Rover while living near Southampton and later in the Vale of Glamorgan, alongside regularly looking after pets for friends and family. I took a break after buying a house and starting a new job, but now that I am settled and know my working hours, I am looking forward to getting back into it. I have grown up with dogs, cats and other pets, including a Collie/Retriever and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua, and I always take the time to understand an animal's individual needs and personality. Growing up on the coast also means I am very comfortable handling and walking dogs in more challenging environments, including beaches, coastal paths, rivers and around livestock. My background in environmental science has also involved working carefully and respectfully with wildlife, and I have volunteered in a dogs' home and helped care for stray animals while working abroad. I am very active and love being outdoors, so I am equally happy with energetic dogs who need a proper walk and those who prefer a slower, sniffier outing. Most importantly, I want owners to feel confident that their pets are being cared for safely, responsibly, and as individuals. I work mostly from home with flexible working hours, so pet care fits really well into my normal routine. As long as I attend my scheduled meetings, I have plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins and spending time with pets throughout the day, as well as in the evenings. I occasionally need to be out in the field for work, but I usually have plenty of notice and can manage my Rover availability around these days. Now that I am settled into my job and know my work schedule, I can make sure I only accept bookings I can fully commit to. I always follow the routines, boundaries, and training that you already have in place, as I know consistency is important for both dogs and cats. I am comfortable administering medication where needed and following specific feeding, walking, or care instructions. For dogs, I am also happy to use a crate if this is part of their normal routine and to follow your rules around leads, recall, interactions with other dogs, and access around the home. I will always prioritise your pet’s safety and comfort and treat both them and your home with care and respect.
