About: I’ve always had animals in my life and have extensive personal experience caring for pets. I’ve always owned cats and grew up around dogs, so I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I’m an NHS nurse, so I’m naturally caring, responsible and attentive, and I’ll treat your pet as part of the family. I will happily try and accommodate all your needs. I work full-time locally as an NHS nurse, so I’m available for pet care on weekends, after 5pm on weekdays and during periods of annual leave. I’m reliable and organised and will always make sure I have plenty of time to give your pet the care, attention and companionship they need. As an NHS nurse, I’m responsible, caring and used to putting people’s wellbeing and safety first. I’ll bring the same level of care and attention to looking after your pet. I understand the importance of following routines, instructions and individual needs, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. Due to the nature of my profession I am DBS checked.

Thank you, Rachel, for taking such great care of Lady over the last August bank holiday weekend while we were in Bournemouth. Lady was so excited to see you every time you arrived and she came back to us very happy. Thanks for being flexible and looking after her at your home instead when our plans needed to change, for collecting her / dropping her off each day and for your regular updates. We knew Lady was in safe hands with Rachel. Will book again next time we are visiting. Thanks again! :)

About: Nijo & Jenny Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a home with multiple dogs and cats and have cared for pets for many years. Over time, I have looked after and cared for dogs ranging from small breeds to large breeds, each with their own unique personalities, needs and routines. As a Merchant Navy Officer, I have 2 mo tha rotation, where I am onboard for 2-3 and at home on leave for 2-3 months. During my leave periods, I am home full-time for up to two months at a stretch, allowing me to provide plenty of companionship, exercise and supervision. My wife and I are both passionate animal lovers and regularly help friends with their dogs. Due to my work pattern we are unable to get a dog ourselves currently but we try to compensate that by lending a hand to our friends with pets. We understand that every pet is different, and we strive to provide a safe, loving and stress-free home away from home where pets are treated as part of the family. We ourselves use rover when we go for vacations and understand the situation, we strive to create a second home for your furry friends and would be part of our family. When I am on leave from work, I am available at home full-time and can dedicate my attention to your pet throughout the day. This allows me to maintain their usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, rest periods and plenty of companionship. I enjoy spending time outdoors and regularly visit local walking areas such as Brynna Woods and Smilog Woods. Depending on your dog's preferences and energy levels, I can also provide longer walks, park visits and beach outings. I only accept one household's dog at a time, ensuring your pet receives individual attention and a calm environment. Your pet's safety and wellbeing are my highest priorities. My wife and I live in a spacious home with a secure fenced back garden, providing a safe environment for dogs to relax, play and explore. We also share our home with our friendly domestic shorthair cat, Simba, who is comfortable around dogs that respect her space. Before every booking, I take time to understand your pet's routine, preferences, dietary requirements and any special instructions. My wife is a medical doctor and is happy to assist with routine medications if required, providing additional reassurance for owners whose pets may need ongoing treatment during their stay. I only accept one household's dog at a time, ensuring your pet receives individual attention, plenty of supervision and a calm environment. I will also provide regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, comfortable and well cared for.

About: Personally I was never allowed a dog when I was a child, I have previously owned different pets including rabbits, guinea pigs and fish. This just increased my want of a dog, so my first and longest job I have had was a professional dog walker and throughout the years I have looked after many different dogs. I am currently a student at the University of South Wales and with a minimal social life I am currently widely available for any services. I have previously walked and cared for dogs of all different sizes and shapes. I have also had to adapt to different medical and dietary requirements.

About: I'm a huge animal lover. I've always looked after pets since a child, I got a lot of my experience from my aunties animal farm. I would bathe, feed, walk and learn how to take care of pets since a young age. From puppies to senior dogs, animals as small as birds, ducks, ferrets and bigger animals like sheep, pigs, cows, horses etc. I finally met my furr baby almost 3 years ago and become a dog mum. BEST THING I EVER DID. I work from home. We make playing, going out on big walks in nature and snuggles a priority. Pet care is hugely important and easily takes place as a top priority in our household. We often bathe our Ruben after a muddy walk, give him a brush and spoil him with a treaties. I have fenced garden, fully secure. I live opposite a huge mountain, with fantastic walks in nature. I have a little dog to keep your pet company. I've never crated my dog Ruben, he's more than ok to snuggle up on the sofa.

About: Proud owner of a loving, sociable and well-behaved dog. I’m also familiar with cats as I grew up with 5 in total in my family home. My aim is to productively help out other pet owners and make fur friends along the way! Rest assured, with me, your fur babies will get loving and trusted walks & visits. I am self-employed and flexible with my daily routine and will endeavour to accommodate customers to the best of my ability. I’m an active individual which means I’m an ideal dog walker for your fur baby! I am also flexible for drop-in visits for your cats and dogs. I will also keep you updated regularly and can send photos from visits and walks I don’t care for pets in my home as I do not have a boarding licence; however, there are plenty of fields, trails and a cycle track where I live allowing plenty of exercise and sniffs for dogs and I am happy to drive further out with your dog(s) for a variety of enrichment

Amber, thank you for a brilliant service. I’d never left my two cats before but Amber reassured me on the meet and greet and I felt these pair would be ok with her. I not expect them to be as relaxed as they were! From the many photos Amber sent the pair of them looked like they were loving her company 😁 Will definitely be booking again!

There are 515 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Rhondda Cynon Taf. About 92% of Rhondda Cynon Taf sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
