About: Hey guys, I’m Rosie! I am a full time student at Cardiff metropolitan university, I’m studying social work in hope to graduate as a social worker. I am also ambulance crew for non emergency. A lot of my time is taken up by supporting individuals and all I am missing in my life is some time with nature and animals. From a young age I have absolutely adored animals, dogs in particular. About: I have always been around dogs since I can remember. Whether that was my own Labrador’s or my family’s/friends dogs. I currently co-own an 8 year old Labrador with my father who we rescued from dogs trust when he was one years old, who I love unconditionally. I also look after my mum’s dog often, which is a Staffy cross with a few other mastiff breeds mixed in. She will be 1 in April and she is currently under going puppy training and I love to play with her and she is very cute as you can see in the pictures I’ve provided. I work full time Monday-Friday but I can be flexible with working from home throughout the week, however, I always work from home on a Friday. I am also, happy to have dogs over the weekend if needs be, whether that is at my flat or your place. I live in a spacious 2 bedroom flat by myself with no other animals present. Opposite I have a huge field where I can walk the dogs and take them out for toilet breaks as many times as they need. I also live near nature walks as well, which I can happily take the dogs too for longer walks etc if needed.
“Jo and Jenny are absolute angels. I genuinely felt they had fallen straight from heaven 🥰. Hawk is a rescue from Romania, so it was incredibly important to find sitters who understood his needs. Jo and Jenny took so much time to really get to know him. Their incredible care started before the stay, when we all met up to walk in the forest just so Hawk could get acquainted. Jo collected Hawk from our house, while Jenny planned the adventures. They showed so much thoughtfulness by planning his entire stay around the heatwave. They kept him completely safe while still giving him the ultimate adventure. Hawk is super energetic, so they planned amazing adventures, including beach trips, then sent the cutest video of him digging in the sand, chasing seagulls and waves, for the first time in his life. They walked him in the forest and waterfalls, the pics show Hawk paddling, splashing and loving cold water rubs. I was kept updated the whole time with the most beautiful videos and pictures, Jo even walked him in the forest, before dropping him home. Hawk is sleeping soundly now, completely content after his amazing mini-vacation 🐾 It is so clear Jo and Jenny do this purely out of a selfless love for dogs and not money. Sadly (for them not me 🤣), their busy work arrangements mean they can't have a dog permanently right now, so they poured all that affection into Hawk. They absolutely adored him and he idolised them. Jo and Jenny are the most caring, gentle, and exceptional sitters you could ever wish for. Now that we have found them, our lives will be enriched, we can now go away without worry, knowing Hawk is in the best care imaginable. We have found the perfect sitters so are forever grateful for the Rover app. 🥰”

About: I am a student veterinary nurse. I have worked in a veterinary practice for nearly 8 years as veterinary care assistant. Before that I studied animal care and animal management. I have also had some experience of working in a farm, kennels and pet shop. Throughout my life I have dealt with various different types of animals from snakes to sheep, from new born puppies to old cats with kidney failure. I have also owned a variety of animals throughout my life, including, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice and chickens. I work 37.5 hours a week but I have most weekends and evenings off which means I available to do drop in visits and walkies!! However my work rota is sometimes flexible so please feel free to message and I will try my best to help. Drop in visits would be carried out in your own home but I will ensure the health and safety of your pet throughout and comply with any instructions you give me. I will keep the walks safe and siutable for the breed and age of the dog.

About: Grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up but I couldn’t as I wouldn’t be able to do the things they do to animals cause I get so emotional. I did animal care training with ACT and worked with all animals. I’m a stay at home mam so dogs won’t ever be left alone during the day unless I drop my daughter to school which is only 5 mins down the road from where I live so can talk toe dog or dogs with me to drop her off at school then take them for a long walk around my local park I have a small garden with a gate right down to the floor so they can’t escape. About: Not only have I always lived in a household with at least one dog at all times when growing up, I also have experience working in a kennels, where my duties consisted of cleaning up after 20+ dogs a day, as well as walking and feeding them. When working in the kennels, they also accepted in rescue dogs, and so I have experience looking after all different types of dogs, from mastiff's to chihuahua's of all ages. “Jo and Jenny are absolute angels. I genuinely felt they had fallen straight from heaven 🥰. Hawk is a rescue from Romania, so it was incredibly important to find sitters who understood his needs. Jo and Jenny took so much time to really get to know him. Their incredible care started before the stay, when we all met up to walk in the forest just so Hawk could get acquainted. Jo collected Hawk from our house, while Jenny planned the adventures. They showed so much thoughtfulness by planning his entire stay around the heatwave. They kept him completely safe while still giving him the ultimate adventure. Hawk is super energetic, so they planned amazing adventures, including beach trips, then sent the cutest video of him digging in the sand, chasing seagulls and waves, for the first time in his life. They walked him in the forest and waterfalls, the pics show Hawk paddling, splashing and loving cold water rubs. I was kept updated the whole time with the most beautiful videos and pictures, Jo even walked him in the forest, before dropping him home. Hawk is sleeping soundly now, completely content after his amazing mini-vacation 🐾 It is so clear Jo and Jenny do this purely out of a selfless love for dogs and not money. Sadly (for them not me 🤣), their busy work arrangements mean they can't have a dog permanently right now, so they poured all that affection into Hawk. They absolutely adored him and he idolised them. Jo and Jenny are the most caring, gentle, and exceptional sitters you could ever wish for. Now that we have found them, our lives will be enriched, we can now go away without worry, knowing Hawk is in the best care imaginable.
