I highly recommend Elizabeth and will absolutely book her again!”

Bronwen made sure she kept his usual home rules and routine to avoid confusion. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again! Thank you”

About: I have grown up owning dogs, fish, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamster's and cats. My nursing career has helped me develop the qualities that are also important in excellent pet care: patience, responsibility, attentiveness, and compassion. I carefully manage my availability and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, so when your pet is in my care, you can feel confident that they will receive the time, attention, and care they deserve. I’m reliable and organised and will always make sure I have plenty of time to give your pet the care, attention and companionship they need. As a registered nurse I’m responsible, caring and used to putting wellbeing and safety first. I’ll bring the same level of care and attention to looking after your pet. I understand the importance of following routines, instructions and individual needs, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. Due to the nature of my profession I am DBS checked.
“Amy looked after Buddy overnight whilst I was at a wedding. She was so good with him and he really enjoyed his stay. She kept me up to date throughout the stay with messages and pictures. This is the second time Amy has looked after Buddy and he’ll definitely be back for more visits soon! Thanks again Amy!”

“I would highly recommend Neil to anyone looking for someone to care for their fur baby while they're away. Neil looked after our dog for five days while we were on holiday, and we couldn't have been happier with the care he received. He treated our dog as if he were his own, making him feel comfortable, loved, and right at home throughout his stay. We had complete peace of mind knowing our dog was in such caring hands. Thank you, Neil!”

“Booked with Sarah to watch our miniature dachshund Toby for the weekend whilst we tied the knot, we were a little nervous as we hadn’t left him before but she kept us updated and sent pics and videos, Toby & Rolo got on great and had the best time! Can’t thank Sarah enough and would definitely recommend! Thank you so much again xx”

“AMAZING dog sitter!! - we left our dog Teddy with Mary a few weeks ago, and I must say I was quite nervous, he’s very hyper and boisterous and I was worried he wouldn’t settle, however Mary kept me updated every single day sending photos, telling me about his mealtimes and even updated me every thirty minutes to an hour after he had gotten sick, she explained how good he had been and genuinely put my mind at ease, couldn’t reccomend her more. Thank you so much Mary will definitely be booking again!!”

“Jo and Jenny are absolute angels. I genuinely felt they had fallen straight from heaven 🥰. Hawk is a rescue from Romania, so it was incredibly important to find sitters who understood his needs. Jo and Jenny took so much time to really get to know him. Their incredible care started before the stay, when we all met up to walk in the forest just so Hawk could get acquainted. Jo collected Hawk from our house, while Jenny planned the adventures. They showed so much thoughtfulness by planning his entire stay around the heatwave. They kept him completely safe while still giving him the ultimate adventure. Hawk is super energetic, so they planned amazing adventures, including beach trips, then sent the cutest video of him digging in the sand, chasing seagulls and waves, for the first time in his life. They walked him in the forest and waterfalls, the pics show Hawk paddling, splashing and loving cold water rubs. I was kept updated the whole time with the most beautiful videos and pictures, Jo even walked him in the forest, before dropping him home. Hawk is sleeping soundly now, completely content after his amazing mini-vacation 🐾 It is so clear Jo and Jenny do this purely out of a selfless love for dogs and not money. Sadly (for them not me 🤣), their busy work arrangements mean they can't have a dog permanently right now, so they poured all that affection into Hawk. They absolutely adored him and he idolised them. Jo and Jenny are the most caring, gentle, and exceptional sitters you could ever wish for. Now that we have found them, our lives will be enriched, we can now go away without worry, knowing Hawk is in the best care imaginable. We have found the perfect sitters so are forever grateful for the Rover app. 🥰”

Rain or shine, my pup gets walked every day. I have experience with dogs of all ages and am happy to tend to your pup's special needs. I have a lovely, spacious garden that is ideal for throwing balls for your pups. My puppy loves to play with other dogs and would be happy to make new friends!

“Absolutely amazing service yet again from Rebecca after having our 2 fur babies for 2 weeks! Plenty of pictures, videos and updates already booked another twice! My boys are Absolutely knackered after having so much fun with becca and Russell xx”

“I left my little black pug, Lola, in the care of the lovely Jas and her partner Bobby. From the moment I met them, I felt at ease as they seemed genuinely kind and caring people. Jas sent regular updates and even offered video calls during Lola’s stay, which gave me great peace of mind. Lola came back tired and happy, which says it all. Jas was emotional when returning Lola, and it was clear they had formed a real bond. I know my baby was truly loved and very well cared for during the 8 days she stayed with them. I would absolutely recommend Jas as a pet sitter and will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

About: FULLY INSURED & Enhanced DBS checked🖤 Facebook business page: Wags & Whiskers🐾 🐾Diploma in Canine behaviour Hi there! My names Taylor-Lauren, but most people call me 'Tay' or 'Taylor' I'm 24 and live in Nelson (CF46). Most of the time I'm reading books or out in walks with my best friend.. my best friend being a border collie named Charlie🤎 I understand I may not have many reviews yet as I’ve not long joined Rover - but I wanted to try and make this my full-time job! So while I'm new to this app I'm not new to pet sitting or pet walking! I have experience with both cats and dogs due to growing up with both, as well as volunteering for Hope Rescue and doing a lot of work with Cats protection too. I fully understand how important it is to find someone who will love and look after your pets just like you would yourself, and that's what I hope to do here, after-all pets aren't just animals but they are members of our family that are loved just the same... sometimes more as they don't answer back or give attitude haha. I can offer my services of checking in multiple times a day and spending time with your beloved pet, housesitting if you would prefer for them not to be left alone while you're away and general dog walking too! Thank you for taking the time to read my little introduction, I hope to hear from you soon✨ I’ve currently left my full-time job, and looking to expand in other areas of my life starting with Rover! It’s something I’d like to do full-time and eventually have my own business in doing so, I have so many years of experience so I’m making use of it! Due to having a rescue cat, I’m unable to have other animals in my home - but caring for your beloved pets in the comfort of their own home is something I believe very important, giving them fusses, lots of cuddles and an active walk so they can be exercised and kept healthy!

“My anxious little sausage dog Archie had his first daycare with Becca today, and she was amazing! Archie has some anxiety around new people and dogs and Becca did everything she could to make him feel at ease. Becca is extremely knowledgable, and managed to get Archie to a place where he felt safe and secure. I had lots of photos and videos of Archie having a fantastic time which made me feel at ease. I’ll definitely be booking Archie in for a visit with Becca and Russel again 😊”

Due to my work pattern we are unable to get a dog ourselves currently but we try to compensate that by lending a hand to our friends with pets. We ourselves use rover when we go for vacations and understand the situation, we strive to create a second home for your furry friends and would be part of our family. When I am on leave from work, I am available at home full-time and can dedicate my attention to your pet throughout the day. This allows me to maintain their usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, rest periods and plenty of companionship. I enjoy spending time outdoors and regularly visit local walking areas such as Brynna Woods and Smilog Woods. Depending on your dog's preferences and energy levels, I can also provide longer walks, park visits and beach outings. I only accept one household's dog at a time, ensuring your pet receives individual attention and a calm environment. Your pet's safety and wellbeing are my highest priorities. My wife and I live in a spacious home with a secure fenced back garden, providing a safe environment for dogs to relax, play and explore. We also share our home with our friendly domestic shorthair cat, Simba, who is comfortable around dogs that respect her space. “She has been absolutely wonderful with Adis. She has been able to accommodate us very early in the morning, has always been punctual, and is extremely thorough in the care she provides. I really appreciate the detailed notes she takes about Adis’s wees, sleep times, and general wellbeing, as well as the regular updates she sends. Most importantly, I can tell she genuinely loves animals, which is incredibly reassuring. Adis is almost 19 years old and blind, so he needs gentle, attentive care, and she has looked after him so well. I feel very comfortable knowing he is in such kind and capable hands. Highly recommended.”

“I can't recommend Rose enough! From the moment we met, it was clear that she genuinely cares about animals. I received regular updates, including photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing my pet was in good hands. If you're looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional pet sitter, look no further than Rose.”

About: Dogs have been a big part of my life since I was a child, and we have owned various breeds. Most recently we had a labrador, Ella who we sadly recently lost at 10.5years old. So I have experience caring for senior dogs and giving medications if required (I'm also a registered nurse). I've informally cared for family and friends dogs, taking them for walks, completing check-ins and having overnight stays at my home. Currently we haven't yet got another dog, so have a pet-free home with a large secure garden. Looking forward to getting to know your furry friends and taking them on some outdoor adventures 🐾 I do shift work so have several days free each week to be available for your dog's needs. For overnight stays I would need advance notice, and can only be accommodated in my own home. I have a large secure garden and able to provide 1:1 interaction for your furry friend. Also have a dog crate available and dog ramp for senior or those with mobility issues if going on some longer walks.

“Kate is a very experienced walker and felt confident to entrust care for my nervous dog. She suggested a meet and greet and was so open and friendly. Very trustworthy and kind to even bring in my parcel! I would highly recommend Kate.”

“Rachel was fantastic! We enjoyed meeting Rachel before we went on holiday, which meant we could introduce our dog and take him on a walk together. Rachel really wanted to understand his routine and what works for him, which was very thorough of her. Great communication everyday when we were away, which meant we could enjoy our holiday knowing our dog was well looked after. 100% recommend Rachel! We will definitely be booking her again if we ever need to go away. Thank you so much, Rachel x”

About: I’m Nat, a local pet sitter and dog walker based in Gelli, RCT. I’ve had dogs for many years and love nothing more than spending time with fur babies - mine or other people’s! Our youngest dog was rescued from a shelter and came with a host of behavioural needs - we undertook lots of training with him that Covid sadly hindered, to the point that I decided to gain a qualification in canine behaviour during lockdown to continue working with him when the trainer had to pause services. I am very experienced with cat care as well and adore them equally. I also have a veterinary care assistant diploma and a PDSA-accredited pet first aid qualification. I am friendly, helpful, reliable, and most importantly I understand that our pets are part of the family (the most important part!) and will care for your lovely fur baby as though they were my own, whilst giving you plenty of reassurance while you are away from them. I have another job Mon-Fri so usually cover evenings weekends, though I can work from home at times so have some flexibility with that if daytime drop ins/walks are needed. Let me know your pets needs and I’ll always see what I can do :) I keep routine with feeding, walks and regular breaks. The happiness, safety and security of your four legged friend is my number one priority so please tell me anything you think I need to know. I am happy to follow any instructions and want your cat/dog to be happy with me as much as you do.

About: Hi, I’m Izzy! I’ve got lots of experience with dogs—dogsitting for family and friends, plus volunteering at Cardiff Dogs Home where I completed training in understanding and handling dogs. I love getting out for walks with dogs, even though my lifestyle doesn’t allow for one of my own right now. Expect lots of happy adventure photos along the way! I work shifts 3x 12 hours shifts a week, and have 4 days off a week. I have rotas a few months in advance. My pet care would be limited on 12 hour shifts, but could arrange early morning or late night care or walks. I'm only available for dog walks and check ins. I may be available for overnight stays however depends on my shift pattern. Would be looking at arranging a short 10min visit before any bookings, to meet and greet and show me where things are on your home.
About: Animals have always been a presence in my life, whether through family, friends or neighbours, where growing up as a kid who always loved to play outside, dog-walking and visiting all the local cats played a massive part in my childhood. While I don’t have direct experience, it was always a delight to participate in the care of people’s most beloved pets. My strongest attribute is my ability to be active and get your pet the exercise, care and attention they’ll need. As a freshly graduated University student, I have a period of intermission as I decide on my next steps. Alongside part-time work in the evenings, I hope to take on pet care as a means to stay active, interact with the community and do something I enjoy as a little extra income. I feel it is my obligation to keep the pet company, abide by the instructions for me to keep your pet happy and engaged and ensure security and safety is maintained.

Bronwen made sure she kept his usual home rules and routine to avoid confusion. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again! Thank you”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing with my dog cooper I was so nervous about leaving him but she reassured me I was sent photos everyday and she looked after him well. I will be using Lauren again fantastic!”

About: I have a 5 year old labrador and I'm very used to walking him for 1 hour daily. I grew up with dogs and lived near a farm as a young child. I also had 2 pet persian house cats as well as budgie's and hamsters. I work full-time but this is agile, balancing office based with working from home. I have a fenced garden so everything is safe and enclosed, i also live on a quiet estate where the road is not busy. I like to spend time with the animals when they are in my company, as long as a blanket is on the sofa and bed they are welcome to lay on this.
