About: Dogs have been a big part of my life since I was a child, and we have owned various breeds. Most recently we had a labrador, Ella who we sadly recently lost at 10.5years old. So I have experience caring for senior dogs and giving medications if required (I'm also a registered nurse). I've informally cared for family and friends dogs, taking them for walks, completing check-ins and having overnight stays at my home. Currently we haven't yet got another dog, so have a pet-free home with a large secure garden. Looking forward to getting to know your furry friends and taking them on some outdoor adventures 🐾 I do shift work so have several days free each week to be available for your dog's needs. For overnight stays I would need advance notice, and can only be accommodated in my own home. I have a large secure garden and able to provide 1:1 interaction for your furry friend. Your dogs would be kept in a relaxed and caring environment, and will receive the same love and attention as my own dogs . I’m available to board dogs 7 days a week for short breaks or extended holidays, if booked in advance. I also had 2 pet persian house cats as well as budgie's and hamsters. I work full-time but this is agile, balancing office based with working from home. From puppies to senior dogs, animals as small as birds, ducks,ferrets and bigger animals like sheep, pigs, cows, horses etc. I finally met my furr baby almost 3 years ago and become a dog mum. BEST THING I EVER DID. I work from home. We make playing, going out on big walks in nature and snuggles a priority. Pet care is hugely important and easily takes place as a top priority in our household. We often bathe our Ruben after a muddy walk, give him a brush and spoil him with a treaties. I did animal care training with ACT and worked with all animals. About: Not only have I always lived in a household with at least one dog at all times when growing up, I also have experience working in a kennels, where my duties consisted of cleaning up after 20+ dogs a day, as well as walking and feeding them. When working in the kennels, they also accepted in rescue dogs, and so I have experience looking after all different types of dogs, from mastiff's to chihuahua's of all ages. All dogs are welcome, no matter how big or small! I live on a mountain and have direct access to the mountain path so dog walking won't be a problem. When I was just a baby, I had a dog called Tessa, we would have tea party’s underneath my kitchen table and race up and down the garden. i can offer my heart to some dogs in the neighbourhood, get us both on healthy early morning walks or afternoon walks, I’d be absolutely delighted. If you are looking for something over the weekend, let’s chat. I have a large high fenced in back garden, which is completely secure. While your pet is with me they will be provided with an AirTag collar, along with my full contact details. Your pet will be walked on the lead at all times, and walked with no more than two other compatible friends. I am fully confident in most aspect of pet first aid, DBS checked, fully insured, each walk will be Strava tracked and sent to you along with some pictures/videos from the walk.
