6. Tulsi J.
“I've known Tulsi for the last 6 months and can't even begin to express how wonderful she is with both pets and people. Tulsi has an innate ability to truly connect with the animals for which she cares because of her compassion towards and love of all creatures. What is extraordinary is how she is immediately able to gain their trust. I believe that's because the animals are instinctive and can sense Tulsi's deep-rooted commitment to their care and well-being. What is so special, is that Tulsi is also perceptive when it comes to any pet's change in behavior and is quick to alert their owner. Pet walking and sitting isn't a "hobby" for Tulsi, it is a profession in which she is dedicated and takes great pride and she approaches her role in your pet's life in that way. She is dependable and punctual which, if you have a fur baby such as mine who is diabetic, is critical. She has truly become part of our family and I am happy to endorse her services. If you wish to speak with me directly regarding Tulsi's history with me and my pets, I would welcome a call or email.”
7. Amy D.
About: Hi! I'm Amy, my family have had cats for as long as I remember but I am secretly a dog person too! Big or small, I love to look after animals; While living in Sydney I was a member of MadPaws and would regularly house-sit, pet-sit and take dogs for walks around the city and parks, and since returning home to Wales and joining Rover in the summer of 2021, I have completed over 130 bookings with cats, dogs, fish and rabbits! I am currently WFH so am able to balance my full-time job with Rover bookings, and will go above and beyond to care for your pets and make sure they are the happiest and healthiest they can be. My garden is fully fenced and secure, and I live really close to Barry Sidings where there's plenty of green space for walks, and more private tracks for pets that are dog sensitive. I'm also not far from Ynysangharad Park for more walks and meet & greets. Although I'm sure there will be no hiccups during your pet's stay, I am fully insured through Protectivity Insurance for peace of mind (on top of the Rover Guarantee), as well as being licensed under the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963, by the Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. Feel free to drop me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. (PLEASE NOTE: Due to having recently adopted our lovely cat, I will only be offering pet sitting, walking and drop-in services while little Tigger gets settled into our home. I am also only able to provide 3-day visits at a time due to the new CS hybrid working policy and other commitments, so will unfortunately need to decline any requests for longer periods than this). I can work wherever there is reliable private WiFi, which allows me to plan well in advance, have a reliable schedule that can fit in easily with your plans, and of course I'm around 24/7 to take care and give fusses to your dog during their/my stay. I am happy to provide regular updates with photos of your furry friend(s) for your peace of mind, and only look after dogs & cats from one family at a time. Schedule: I try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate for your pet's needs, matching their regular routine as closely as I can during their stay. Safety, trust & environment: In order to obtain my dog boarding license, my home has to be inspected and kitted out with all the necessary equipment to keep your fur baby safe and comfortable. About: Hiya! My name is Charissa. I am the owner and CEO of two business', Pawsome Pals Pet Care and Lucita Z Designs, an art and business. I work on my own time from my laptop and sketchbook, meaning I am fully flexible and able to work choosing my own hours, including being able to work from any location. I love travelling, and spend my year between Dorset, Cambridgeshire and South Wales. I have an entire lifetime of pet care, including owning my own, caring for family members pets and working professionally through different websites caring for others around the country. My experience covers pets from dogs, including many different breeds, from Alaskan Malamutes, Huskies, a variety of Terriers, Collies, Spaniels, and many more. I have experience with all ages, ranging from a newborn puppy to a very senior dog on its last legs, also experience with dogs raised from puppy to dogs severely traumatized and rehomed. Cats, ranging from outdoor and indoor, Maine Coons to Miniatures. Reptiles such as Burmese Pythons, to an array of Tarantulas. Fish of all kinds, fresh, tropical and salt water. I also have experience with an array of small mammals such as Rabbits, Degus etc, also birds such as Cockatoos to Budgies. I have done smaller forms of training such as a working with dogs’ course, which includes behaviour, breed and welfare. I have also been a house sitter for family members, and neighbours since I was a teenager. I have moved around the country a fair few times, which means I am comfortable travelling and staying away from home regularly. I pride myself on being an energetic, yet laid back individual, meaning I love to keep myself busy throughout the day whilst maintaining a calm attitude, which can be very helpful when it comes to taking care of pets that may be more on the nervous side and suffer from separation anxiety etc. I also pride myself on being an exceptionally clean and tidy person, I enjoy cleaning, so you can always be rest assured your home will be kept in the best condition. Being an energetic person means I love going for long walks and being out and about, which means any dog walks I go on tend to extend for a longer amount of time, I especially love being out in nature, so forestry, nature reserves, beach walks are a popular choice of mine. Being able to work remotely and flexibly, means that while working, I can take frequent breaks to care and play with your pets, I love a good cuddle in the evenings for some downtime too, your pets would be my top priority whilst staying and caring for them! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message me directly! I do not sit for free; I do charge an amount based on travel and length of time, my prices are nice and low and affordable though as I understand how lot of people have been affected by the cost-of-living crisis! Look forward to hearing from you all! I am fully flexible as I work from home running my own business. So any times and days of the week I am available! I'm open to long stays aswell as short and travel isn't an issue for me! If you choose to book with me, I can assure you that your furry friend will be my top priority! I am available to offer any type of care. Ranging from just delivery of basic food, water and toilet time. To over night stays, walks and administering medication. If day care or over night care if what you're looking for, as said above, I work from home, so your pets will barely ever be left alone, and can be provided with full supervision and company! I love taking photos, and videos to send to owners so they can see how their pets are doing too! Unfortunately I can't have any animals at my place as the tenancy doesn't allow for animals. But like I said, travel is not an issue for me.

“Magnus took excellent care of Lulu our Golden Retriever when we went on holiday for two weeks. He is warm and friendly, and Lulu took to him straight away. He was taking her for long walks that she really likes and needs. He kept us informed during our time away with text and photos. I would not hesitate to recommend Magnus as a pet sitter and a dog walker.”

14. Lynsey L.
About: I had my first dog at age 8. I have always loved dogs and always walked family or neighbours fur babies. When I left home our family dog stayed with my parents and I then had a border collie. After this I had my current pooch Hugo. He is well exercised and even came and done the 3 peaks last year I’m currently off work due to bereavement. I am out walking every day, sometimes twice a day & my fur baby loves other friends. My children are 9 & 14 and are both fantastic with dogs. They are in school through the week so I am free during this time. I have a back garden which is safe and secure. I’m also close to lots of fields and off road walks to really tire out the little 4 legs. My boy is allowed on my sofa and sleeps on my bed or in his bed next to me at night. I am happy to crate your beloved pooch if you prefer.
15. Lowri G.
“My booking was quite last minute and Lowri was very friendly and very responsive to my messages as we needed to sort everything out quickly. I loved the photos she sent because Baxter looked so happy! In our case it was also a bonus that Lowri brought along her own dog, as Baxter loves making new doggy friends as well as human ones! Baxter has had a lovely time walking with Lowri and Ralph and I'm very happy to recommend her to other dog owners.”
16. Abby E.
“Abby came to the rescue last minute to walk Socks as our dog-care arrangements changed for bank holiday weekend, which we really appreciated so thank you very much, Abby xxx”
17. Samantha E.
About: Hi I'm Sam and I have had dogs my whole life from Staffordshire bull terriers, Hungarian Vizsla to currently my beautiful rescue dog who is 5 years old. I have over ten years of experience caring for pets. My responsibilities have included feeding, grooming, walking, administering medications, and providing companionship to ensure the pets are happy and healthy. I am experienced with different breeds and temperaments, ensuring they get appropriate exercise and mental stimulation. I have worked with both high-energy dogs that require long walks and playtime, as well as older dogs that need gentler care. In addition, I have taken care of small mammals such as rabbits ensuring their cages are kept clean, providing fresh food and water, and giving them the attention they need. Throughout my experience, I’ve always maintained a strong focus on each pet’s individual needs and personality, adapting my care to provide the best environment for their health and well-being. We can often be found exploring the mountains or running at the beach. I'm currently working part time so have plenty of time to give to your beautiful pets. I have a flexible schedule at present and can be available with short notice. I have a fenced garden with a locked side gate. I can crate dogs if required. I will treat your dog like they are one of mine.
