About: Ive grown up with dogs, two of my own, both small dogs named Gizmo and Harley. Gizmo passed a few months ago and has left a large hole in my heart and i feel dogsitting could help fill that. Harley was a rescue from an abusive home, i know how to care for dogs with extra needs because of these two. I have also got experience with bigger dogs as my fiance has 2 larger breeds named Winston and George I am currently unemployed due to health reasons and i feel this would be a great and fulfilling use of my time. I can work whenever owners need me too as im more than happy to fill my time with dogs Having been raised with dogs i can be both loving and stern, this being said i would never hurt an animal especially a member of a family such as a dog. I know how to administrator oral medicine and i have experience with shy or scared dogs. I WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO MAKE YOU AND YOUR DOG HAPPY

About: I am recently retired and so have plenty of time to devote to your furry friends. I have previously run a boarding cattery for 11 years in Neath called Moggy Mews and always had 5 star reviews! I have always volunteered for a local cat charity. You could say I love cats 😻 I have always owned cats until recently but sadly lost my little family to old age. I have owned dogs in the past too my beloved dog badger who lived to the ripe old age of 16, greatly missed and my dog Archie who I adopted from greek animal rescue. I am 100% trustworthy and will send you regular updates while you are away. I'm recently retired so have oodles of time to spend with your much loved cat or dog. I am flexible regarding times and routines. I absolutely love all animals. I spend time on gentle introductions, bribing them with dreamies mostly! If it's a young cat I will spend time playing with him/her, if it's elderly or anti-social I respect their needs whatever they might be. If it’s a dog we will have fun times together on walks and playing games. I will organise their care according to their age and abilities. As long as they are happy and relaxed, that's the important thing.

About: Hi, I'm Sam! I'm a 26-year-old long-time animal lover and experienced house & pet sitter based in Port Talbot. In 2022, I embarked on an 8-month trip around Australia with my partner George, most of which we spent house & pet sitting for local people in the destinations we visited - it helped us to get experience under our belt, save money on hotels and get some cuddles in the absence of our own pets. It was an amazing experience and we've since continued keeping people's pets company when they need it now that we're back home. I have more than 20 5* reviews from my experience so far. Some testimonials are below and some feedback is also shown on my profile, but I can send through all of the references I've been given to any interested pet owners - just drop me a message. I've grown up with pets and currently have a border collie called Meg and a grey cat called Daisy, both six-years-old. I'm experienced in administering different types of medication and working with shy, energetic, anxious and complex animals, so I have become highly confident in what I do. I'm a non-smoker, clean & tidy guest, and a fully remote worker so can ensure your pets have all the company they require. NOTE: George often joins me on overnight sits when agreed with the home owner. He loves to help out and has had plenty of experience, as demonstrated in our reviews. However this is completely up to the pet owner and what’s best for your home and pets! My services 🐾Overnight house & pet sitting (at pet's home) - including plant watering, mail collection and household maintenance. Both long and short term sits available. 🐾Dog walking - for as long as the dog requires and at location local to the dog's home (at the dog's favourite walk locations if desired) 🐾Day visits (full day care or quick feeding visits) - including plant watering and mail collection 🐾Day care (AT PET'S HOME ONLY) - sorry, I currently can’t have pets at my home as I’m undergoing renovations. However, I’m very happy to do day care at the pet’s home where agreed with the pet owner. Note that the day care option states it’s at my home regardless due to app settings. What clients said about us: 💬"Samantha & George looked after our dogs and house for 17 days. We couldn't be happier with the love and care they gave our extremely spoilt dogs. They sent us regular photos and updates and it was obvious the dogs loved them too. The house was cared for equally well. They are such a lovely, responsible couple who I couldn't recommend more highly." - Leonie & Phil, Busselton (Australia) 💬"Samantha & George were the most wonderful house sitters - we could not have asked for more from them. Their communication was excellent in the lead up and throughout the stay, sending photos and updates. They left the house in a very clean and tidy condition and our cats were very happy and healthy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking!" - Emma, Cooroy (Australia) 💬"OUTSTANDING... we couldn't be happier with Sam & George. They are lovely people. Our two pups were so well looked after. We returned to a beautifully clean house. What more could you possibly want? Thank you for being caring of our girls and respectful of our home. Highly recommend." - Maxwell, Tugun (Australia) 💬"Samantha and her partner George are an amazing couple, communicating with them was very easy and they are very comfortable people to have in your home. My two dogs clearly loved them and on my return they were very happy and obviously well looked after. My house was as I had left it, probably cleaner, they had washed all their linen and remade their bed. They are 5 star pet sitters and I highly recommend them." - Denise, Byron Bay (Australia) 💬"A truly delightful couple, Samantha & George are pet owners dream housesitters. They are honest, kind, clean & caring with a real love for animals, especially the ones they’re caring for. They kept me updated and took care of all my pets needs. The house was left spotless in my return too…If you are looking for pet/house sitters these guys should be on the top of your list. I only hope next time I need pet/house sitters that they are available. Thank you for taking such great care of my furbabies and my home.. you guys are AWESOME ⭐️🙏🏼♥️" - Maria, Sydney (Australia) 💬"Thanks so much Sam and George for looking after our place and most importantly, Mr Bluey! He was so happy and chilled when we got back it was a great relief- not that we were surprised at all :) Sam and George sent really cute updates about Bluey which really put our minds at ease knowing he was happy and looked after. Can’t recommend these wonderful sitters more and would happily have them again!" - Anita, Melbourne (Australia) 💬"The whole process with Sam and George can be summarised in one word, "easy". They were a dream to have come sit our 2 cats and 2 chickens. They were great communicators, left the house cleaner than they found it, and even took the liberty of washing their bedding (which we didn't ask them too, and was a very nice gesture!). They were great with communication the whole way through, sent us update photos during their stay and let us know when they had locked up and left. Coming home to a clean house and 2 VERY happy cats was a fantastic finish to our holiday. On a logistics note, they were happy to adhere to our feeding schedule for the cats, and kept the chickens water and feed full. It was clear to see the cats had been given ample play time and were not devoid of affection one bit. Also, they emptied/refreshed the litter box, and set out the cat food before they left so we wouldn't have to, which was awesome. Thank you Sam and George, would 10/10 have sit again!" - Jaden, Adelaide (Australia) More references available - message me for more info! I'm a remote and flexible worker so I fit my pet care responsibilities around my day job and work from wherever I am. This means I can be around to keep your pets company throughout the day, maintain regular routines, and take your dogs for the walks they need when they need them. I'm available every day of the week. I conduct meet and greets before the first service to learn about the pet(s), their behaviours, needs and any relevant features of the home itself. This is a chance to learn about their routines, what they eat, and anything else I need to be aware of. I never walk dogs off-lead and I am able to constantly supervise pets when needed.

I currently have 2 small dogs (Oscar & Rocky) 3 cats (Cosmo, Smudge & Belle) 2 rabbits (BunBun & Fluffy) and a crested gecko (Freckles) my animals are a huge part of my life and are treated as part of the family. I have had many other animals over the years including hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, tortoises and amphibians. In the past I have looked after pets of family and friends but would love to start looking after and walking other people’s animals as I firmly believe animals are much happier not being left alone for long periods of times. I would be happy to offer pet visits during the day, overnight stays in your home and dog walks.I have done work experience in a cattery so I have tons of experience looking after many cats, I am also a qualified dog groomer. About: I’ve had many animals in my life including two dogs, one who I cared for as she was much older and in need of special requirements and a new puppy so I can handle excitement. I had also confidently trained my husky too be well behaved on walks where I can let her off the lead in most places. I’m a newly graduate so I have plenty of time to play and walk with your dogs and cats I’m available anytime of the week and weekends I have a 5 year old dog myself who is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs a similar age but she is also trained around senior dogs who don’t have the energy and will leave them alone.
About: Dogs have always been in my life. My best friend Jake devastatingly passed away last year who with me and my dad had raised since a pup as a rescue Stafie. This bereavement has made me treasure dogs and all animals alike much more, they rely on us and give their unconditional love and I want to give back and make their lives filled with fun and enjoyment. I have experience with all sorts of dogs, from different breeds such as Staffies and Labrador, from young energetic balls of energy to the seniors who love and deserve to be pampered in their old age. I'm currently a final year animation student on my summer holidays and looking to look after our furry friends. My schedule is very flexible until September after this I will update my schedule to reflect this as soon as I know my class dates. For now however I am free every week day. I have a large front garden, and a back garden (not fenced), however lots of large fields, woodland and trails in my local area. I would care for your dog as my own and treat them as the best, they would be well fed and played with lots. I would be honoured to build a relationship with them, a relationship built on trust and loyalty, values that I have been brought up with and built upon with my own dog who is sadly no longer with us.

Neath Port Talbot dog owners share their Rover experiences
Lucy was absolutely brilliant with Ted today. 🐾 She gave him a lovely, varied walk full of interesting places to sniff, explore, and stretch his legs. The photos and updates were great – it was clear Ted was happy, relaxed, and enjoying himself. Lucy also kept track of his toilet breaks and gave a fun, light-hearted report that really reassured us he’d been well looked after. Ted came back content and tired (always a good sign of a proper walk!). Reliable, caring, and thoughtful – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lucy to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog. Thank you for taking such good care of our very good boy today! 🐶💙
