I have canine first aid training so rest assured, your pets will always be in good hands! I have previous experience being a dog walker but transitioned to daycare and boarding this year! There hasn't been a day in my life that I've been without dogs. I have had dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages; from Jack Russell's to German Shepherd's, some from birth to 20 years old! Clients have trusted me to look after their new puppies and care for their dogs while they are away, and it fills me with so much joy!! I love being out in nature, taking them for walks in the stunning woodland park located right behind our house and playing in our garden! There are lots of walking trails from my house and we back onto a large woodland park with lot of pools and streams for swimming or paddling in! We also have a 5 acre field that we can walk to in half an hour! We have lots of toys and dog beds for your pets, although they are always welcome to cwtch up with us on our sofa or bed!

I'm a remote and flexible worker so I fit my pet care responsibilities around my day job and work from wherever I am. This means I can be around to keep your pets company throughout the day, maintain regular routines, and take your dogs for the walks they need when they need them. I'm available every day of the week. I conduct meet and greets before the first service to learn about the pet(s), their behaviours, needs and any relevant features of the home itself. This is a chance to learn about their routines, what they eat, and anything else I need to be aware of. I never walk dogs off-lead and I am able to constantly supervise pets when needed.

About: I’ve looked after several dogs and cats in the last few years of varying ages and sizes, both at my home and the owner’s. Most recently, I sat for a very cute Lurcher puppy at his home three days a week, for four months last summer, helping to toilet and crate train him, and playing with him throughout the day while ensuring he got enough rest. I have looked after him on the odd occasion since and he is always very excited to see me. I have also looked after an 11 year old Dalmatian on three different occasions for 3-6 weeks at a time and we have formed a close bond. He feels comfortable in my home and needs quite a lot exercise so we enjoy lots of long walks together. When I first looked after him he could be quite reactive and would pull on the lead a lot, but we have done quite a bit of work together and he is much calmer now. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for the sweetest 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer on several occasions for a few days at a time, making lots of time for snuggles but also taking her down to the beach where she loves to explore. I’ve also housesat for friends and family, looking after their cats while they were on holiday. My friend’s cats were quite nervous so I was happy to take their lead on how close I got. While they were wary to begin with, they would happily sit with me and let me stroke them by the end of the week. My friends have asked me to catsit again this September. All in all, the fact that owners have trusted me to look after their pets for long periods of time and on more than one occasion shows that I am reliable and will care for your pet like they are my own, with the utmost love, care and attention. The owners have also appreciated the regular updates and pictures I send and I will always make sure to do the same for you. I work from home four days a week and can be flexible on location so am happy to come to yours or look after your pet at my house. I’m available during the week and at weekends for quick drop ins, a full day or for boarding, from one night to several weeks at a time if required. I have a large, enclosed garden for your pet to have a good run around if needed. There are also lots of good walks nearby, including a park and the beach is nearby. I live alone and don’t have any pets or children, so can provide a calm, secure space. My work is quite flexible so I can make time to play with your pet and show them the love and attention they need. Also happy to crate if required.
