“Heidi came today for her second meet and greet .Angie is an absolute gem of a lady .Very good with nervous dogs (and owner lol ) . Angie and her husband were very patient and caring and welcoming . There home is extremely dog friendly and safe and secure garden and nothing was too much trouble , even when Heidi did a nervous wee ( I was mortified) but Angie took it all in her stride and put me at ease . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and have already more dates booked for longer stays .Lovely home and lovely dog loving couple .”

About: Profile is saying I have cats - this is incorrect. I’m insured for sitting, boarding and walking through the company Protectivity. I had the privilege of growing up with dogs and therefore have an abundance of experience in puppy and senior care. From toilet, tricks and walking, I have learnt and taught some tips from my family. The most important thing is that the dog is happy and healthy❤️ I’m in part-time teaching assistance until mid July, then I’m available throughout Summer for the majority of the holidays, then back to Uni mid-September😊 My TA’ing is through an agency, so if you book with me in advance, I can let them know I’m unavailable for the day in which you’d need me, so I’m very flexible! I would much rather be with your pet 🐈⬛🦮❤️ It’s only me in my 2-bed rental so plenty of space, and I’m an active person so would be a privilege to have your fur baby join me for walks❤️ I have a metre high stone wall around my garden that is gated and I am surrounded by greenery and the Sirhowy river! I have no cat flaps and my doors are locked at all times. I am happy for pets to be on furniture (and maybe my bed depending on fluffiness!) but also happy to adhere to your home rules and keep them off to reassure training. If I’m sitting at your place, I will invariably follow your rules by sticking to your routine, times and structure to make your pet feel at ease. I absolutely love cuddles so your pet will get more than enough from me❤️

6. Scott & Danielle B.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have three chihuahuas and have cared for all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and more, including rescues with unique needs. I’m calm, patient, and passionate about making animals feel safe and loved. I have experience with senior pets, nervous or anxious animals, and those needing medication or extra care. Every pet I meet is treated like family. I work flexibly and mainly from home, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, or longer stays, and can adapt to your pet’s usual schedule to keep things consistent and stress-free. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully secured garden where your dog can play safely, and my home is set up to be a calm, welcoming space for all animals. I also have my own friendly dog who loves the company of others, providing socialisation and companionship for pets that enjoy it. I’m experienced in reading animal body language and can easily adapt to pets who prefer space and quiet time. Whether in my home or yours, I always follow your pet’s routine closely to make sure they feel secure and relaxed. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident they’re in safe, loving hands.

8. George O.
About: I have wide-ranging experience caring for pets of all ages; I grew up around them and have 2 years experience on Rover. I aim to cater to each pet’s needs whether that’s cuddles (or distance!), playtime, walkies, giving meds and giving treats of course. I pride myself on the patience I can give, whether that’s letting pets sniff me out, sus me out or sniff every bush on a walk! My experience helps me to judge this for each pet and I welcome chats about how I can best meet your pets needs! I can accommodate dogs during the working day (dog friendly workplace), or can provide walking or sitting services outside of normal working day hours/days. I’m able to use my car to take dogs on longer walks if desired. I have a park and plentiful green space on my doorstep. I live and work in a dog friendly environment which means they will have lots of friends to make if they desire!

“Elizabeth is an amazing person, who is devonted, gentle and hard working in any task she undertakes. She builds a friendly rapport with everyone she meets. With an added bonus of being an exceptional veterinary nurse, any pets in Elizabeth’s care would be her main priority and would be loved like her own.”

11. Kirah M.
“Kirah has looked after our Lakeland terrier many times for us when we have been away, she sends lots of lovely pictures of him and what they have been up. She is friendly and reliable and nothing is ever too much trouble. Our dog loves staying with Kirah and never wants to come home. We couldn’t recommend her more.”

12. Jasmine H.
“Jasmine walked my Jack Russell, Pip. He was an old boy and had bowel issues but still loved his walks and Jas was very patient and caring with him. She was really reliable. I would recommend her for sure!”
