Doggy Day Care in Blaenau Gwent

About: Our family have been around and owned dogs our entire lives. My husband and I have been looking after family and friends dogs together for nearly 5 years. We are newly established as a licensed home boarders taking 2 doggy guests at a time alongside our two neutered boys, and we want to offer as much flexibility and tailoring as possible for you and your pets comfort! I work from home weekdays so dogs have plenty of company! We can do walks at breakfast, lunch and dinner time, and weekends we can go for nice long and more adventurous walks (weather and dog dependant!) We have a large fenced back garden, half grass and half stone/slabs, and a smaller fenced front garden with grass and stone, the dogs can go anywhere in our home except my daughters room in case of teddy theft! We have a huge sofa so there is plenty of space for cwtches! We are pretty relaxed, flexible and happy to make accommodations to make sure all dogs are as happy as possible.

About: 20 year old lover of art and animals! I've grown up around all sorts of animals from a young age. I look after the pets for weeks at a time when family go away, so I take care of their everyday needs such as feeding, walking, grooming and bathing. I'm currently preparing to do online university and starting up my own little art business! All money i get from looking after your fur babies will go towards a pc! I take care of my own kitten and love spending time with any other animals I can get my hands on! I'm now used to both senior cats/dogs and puppies/kittens! I care for all with patience and love and know to keep a close eye on them. I've picked up all the behaviours to look out for to ensure they are happy and safe and know ways to deal with them if they aren't.

“I contacted Sean at fairly short notice to arrange day care for our Vizsla. Checks complete and Luther has spent his first day at Sean's home today. I received updates and pictures throughout the day and I got back to a happy, waggy tailed dog. Luther had obviously had a great day with plenty of interaction. About: My lifelong love affair with dogs began in my childhood, where I was fortunate to be surrounded by these incredible creatures. Among them, Harvey, my childhood canine companion, taught me the true meaning of loyalty and friendship. He was more than just a pet; he was family. Years later, My partner and I decided to rescue Alvin, a courageous Romanian street dog with an enthusiasm that touched my heart profoundly. We welcomed him into our home with open arms, determined to give him the love and care he so rightfully deserved. However, Alvin faced a relentless adversary in the form of Renal Dysplasia. Witnessing Alvin's daily battle was both heartbreaking and inspiring. His spirit remained unbroken, and his resilience was a testament to the remarkable strength of our furry companions. Though the battle was fierce, Alvin eventually succumbed to the cruel grip of his ailment. The loss of Alvin was a devastating blow, but his memory lives on as a poignant reminder of the unbreakable bonds we share with dogs and the lengths we'll go to ensure their well-being. Today, I continue to honor Harvey, Alvin, and all the dogs I've had the privilege to know by dedicating myself to the welfare of these incredible animals, knowing that each one carries a unique story worth cherishing. This is why I dedicate any of my spare time to care for these wonderful creatures. Balancing my freelance work in the television industry with pet care has become a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. Amidst the hustle, my four-legged companions remind me to embrace simple joys like morning walks and late-night cuddles. They've taught me that life's best moments happen between work commitments, seamlessly fitting into my schedule. Whether caring for pets in my own home or tending to them in the comfort of their owner's space, my approach is centered on creating a safe, loving, and enriching environment. About: My partner has always been raised with dogs as pets for 20 years, these have ranged from boarder coillies, cocker spaniels, terroirs to Rottweilers. I have alway grown up around family dogs and have loved taking care of them, Our home will be your fur babies home away from home when they stay with us. Bella was the fifth member to our family, sadly we said goodbye to her in May 25. But we would treat your fur babies exactly the same as we treated Bella. Both of our children have been raised around dogs, and love getting involved with caring for them. I predominantly work from home and my partner works a rolling shift pattern so your fur babies will always have company when they stay with us. Bella is set in her ways however we would be more than willing to follow the same feeding scheduling that you implement for your dog. We would welcome your dog’s blankets, toys and beds to make them feel comfortable during their stay. We also have space for your fur babies to sleep in their create if needed. We have a large enclosed garden that your fur babies will have constant access to during their stay.

About: I have been a veterinary nurse for 16 years as well as having our own pets, so have plenty of experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes. We are available for boarding 7 days a week. The children are at school Monday to Friday and we are all around at the weekends. I have no other pets here since our dog and cat passed last year. I am happy to take large dogs depending on introductions with the kids! Any dog that came to stay with me would be treated as part of the family. I have a huge garden for playtime!

About: We both come from households with dogs our whole lives. I’ve always had 2 dogs whilst growing up on a farm and Oli loved growing up with his dogs Bailey and Summer. The past couple years we have looked after a range of dogs whilst housesitting for friends and family. I am available all day and Oli works until 3 so available in the afternoon, leaving plenty of time to look after your pets! I work from home so there’s plenty of time for walking and attention for your pup. When Oli gets back he loves a walk and spend time in the garden. We have a fenced garden, with a park nearby and happy to take further if needed. Separate room downstairs for dog to stay in, but happy to have upstairs too!

About: I have owned dogs for over 25 years. My dog died two years ago and decided I am ready to give love to other dogs. I regularly walk and look after my sister's dogs. I am available for boarding throughout the week and some weekends are free. Always ask as you never know! I love walking and would like a companion to share it with. I have a fenced garden and work currently from home so have plenty of time to play and cuddle your pets. I can walk them during the day also.

“My little dachshund Efa has now had several stays with Kate and her lovely lurchers. Efa can be quite nervous around other dogs and new people but at the first meeting, Kate was so relaxed and calm, we both felt comfortable straight away. Kate sent me photographs of Efa happily curled up on her lap which was very reassuring. Wally and Barney were very friendly and gentle with my much smaller dog and she had a great time playing with them. I cannot recommend Kate highly enough and it’s great to see Efa jumping out of the car and charging up the drive to see her new friends ❤️”

“My anxious little sausage dog Archie had his first daycare with Becca today, and she was amazing! Archie has some anxiety around new people and dogs and Becca did everything she could to make him feel at ease. Becca is extremely knowledgable, and managed to get Archie to a place where he felt safe and secure. I had lots of photos and videos of Archie having a fantastic time which made me feel at ease. About: We have been dog owner’s for 5 years and look after 2 wonderful little doggies as well as our family dogs from time to time. We have trained our first dog from a pup and nurtured our second rescue dog to become a lovely happy lady! They both enjoy our home and woodland walks around the area. We are lucky enough to work from home so our dogs are never left alone, they are walked in the morning before work, in the evening before dinner and enjoy woodland / beach walks on weekends. We have a fully secure home with a good sized garden and allow our pups to have the run of the ground floor. The garden connects to the kitchen and the home office so the dogs are always next to us throughout the day.

About: I have recently been taking care of a dachshund puppy for a few hours at a time. I am loving, playful and caring with dogs but I am also firm and set boundaries. I can provide a happy home away from home I am free every day as all my children are in school. I do not have any other commitments other than the school run . I have a fenced back garden and a large field next to my house. I drive and have access to a vehicle so am flexible with your needs

Over the years, I have helped with feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and providing lots of love and attention. Being around dogs and cats for most of my life has taught me how to understand their needs, personalities, and routines, and I am comfortable caring for them of different ages and temperaments. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. On weekdays, I only leave briefly in the morning to take my child to nursery from 10:00 to 11:30, and then I return home for the rest of the day. This means I can provide plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship for your pet throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air and play safely. Pets will receive lots of love, attention, and care while staying with me. I also enjoy taking dogs on regular walks, so they can get exercise, explore, and have fun during their stay.

About: I am a qualified dog walker 'My Muttley Crew' I cover the Torfaen area. Walking dogs of all shapes and sizes , each with different needs makes a happy carer. I am available Monday to Friday, and I am able to do most weekends. Dog walking is what I do for a career. Why, because I love it. I am DBS registered and insured , for your piece of mind . Leaving you at ease whilst I am looking after a member of your household. I currently work part time to suit family life But I am available do extra at short notice, just ask!! Including some weekends and out of hours. I love dogs, all dogs. I come to your home to give your dog a relaxed environment where they know where they are so are more at ease.
