“We couldn't have asked for a better family to look after Ozzy while we were away. From the moment we met them, they made us feel completely at ease, and it was obvious how much they genuinely care about the dogs they look after. We received regular updates, photos and videos throughout our holiday, which meant we could truly relax knowing Ozzy was happy, safe and having the best time. He was treated like one of the family, with plenty of love, attention, walks and playtime. Ozzy can be a little nervous in new situations because of his previous eye injury, but they were incredibly patient, understanding and kind with him. They took the time to let him settle at his own pace, and it was lovely to see how quickly he became comfortable and confident with them. Since coming home, we've actually noticed a real difference in his behaviour. He seems much calmer and more settled, and we're convinced spending time with their lovely resident dogs has had such a positive influence on him. It's been wonderful to see, and it's a real testament to the environment they've created. When we collected him, he looked so happy, healthy and relaxed, and it was clear he'd had a wonderful stay. We're so grateful for the amazing care they gave him and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy and genuinely wonderful home away from home for their dog. Thank you so much for taking such fantastic care of our boy!”

“Absolutely brilliant, thank you so much! Cynog hasn't been with a sitter for a little while so he was a bit nervous at drop off. Liam and Timmy were amazing, spending time with him getting him to settle in. Leaving him was a bit of wrench and without asking I had loads of photos and updates, and some videos too, which was very reassuring. I honestly wouldn't let anyone else look after my dog!”

“I cannot fail to recommend Derek highly enough to anyone who is thinking of boarding their dog(s) with him. Derek has taken such good care of my pooch walking him three times a day, seeing that he is utterly content and happy at all times, sending video and photos of what they have been doing all through the day. My boy has come home to me very happy and looking great! I will certainly use Derek's services again as there is nothing that he will not do to ensure your dog's happiness whilst they are staying with him.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since my earliest memory and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge along the way. I’ve been training my own dogs and other peoples dogs for over 25 years. Your dogs would be kept in a relaxed and caring environment, and will receive the same love and attention as my own dogs . I’m currently home all day, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your dogs my full love and attention. I’m available to board dogs 7 days a week for short breaks or extended holidays, if booked in advance. I have a fenced garden to keep your dogs safe, and also have my own two dogs to keep your dogs company and have someone to play with. Dogs can also be crated if needed. I can also make sure your dogs have daily walks if applicable in a lovely environment.
“Twiggy had a fantastic time with Sean and Darcy, so much that she didn’t want to leave. Sean is a fantastic sitter. He made us feel very comfortable, his knowledge of dogs is great, his communication spot on. We highly recommend Sean and will certainly be back when we’re in the area.”

“Alzbeta looked after our little puppy Marshall over night, she really made every effort in making us feel at ease and happy to leave him with her. She sent us regular updates of him playing, out walking, his feeding and sleeping. She is a really lovely lady and we would 100% recommend her and feel happy to leave Marshall again. Thank you so much for being so kind and caring towards Marshall. A beautiful secure safe and clean home where he was treated like a baby! We look forward to seeing you again soon.”

“First time we have used Emma for dog sitting our 12 year old Jack Russell X Pug Bella. Emma is lovely and calm with Bella and settled her in well as we have not left her with a dog sitter previously This was an overnight stay to see how Bella would cope with being away from us. Bella was fine when we picked her up on the Saturday and we are now going ahead with a four night stay in June. 10/10 service 👍🏼🤩🐻❤️”

About: Hey! We’re Shan & Jam we’re a 29 year old couple & we’re about to be your dog’s new best friends!👋🏻 We’re on a mission to soak up all the doggy cuddles we can this year, not just because we’re obsessed with dog’s (which we are) but because we’re warming up for PAWrenthood 🐾 So, instead of impulse buying a terrier on a random Tuesday (which we absolutely were close to doing) we’re channeling our love into looking after other people’s furbabies for now!👀 Jam has had experience in owning a dog full time, for 4 years as she took on her dad’s Staffordshire bull terrier, Max back in 2016 until he sadly passed in 2020. Therefore she now has history with this breed & their loving but sometimes crazy nature🤪 Shan has had experience, being a co-owner to Coco, a Shihtzu cross for 8 years, who was a yappy madam🤭 We both have cared for other dogs such as Buddy the Yorkie, who we fostered for a year🥹 Dolly the frenchie who we rehomed, who was Shan’s Grancha’s beloved dog🥺 And, we’ve had the pleasure of spending time with our family & friends dog’s over the years, walking & watching them. And our regular dog we sit, Daisy the 14 year old Chihuahua who has dementia🐶 Therefore combined, we have a fair amount of mixed experience with dogs☺️ IMPORTANT: Please DON’T book us until, we confirm the booking AFTER we’ve met your dog in person. Thankyou!😌 We have a lot of time on our hands, due to not having children & working from home, which makes us available most days, dates & times to suit your needs. But please message us to enquire 📅 We will be caring for your dogs in a cozy yet spacious flat with our own front door (not a shared block) & a private, fenced off front garden great for zoomies & bathroom breaks. We’ve even added extra security with chicken wire for those extra small doggies👀 While it’s not Buckingham Palace, it’s clean, comfy & 100% dog-approved! ✅ If stairs are tricky for your pup, that’s no problem they’ll get the full VIP treatment (yes, we do offer a personal carrying service)👩🏻✈️

About: I'll be setting up my own dog w Hi guys. Hi guys. Fro. October I'm available every day of the week to become your animals new best friends 🫶🏽 I've grown up with dogs since 4 ears old. Growing up through high school we brough home a little Yorkshire terrier 'cariad' we is still going strong at the age of 14! Cariad is a character who one minute melts your heart to then given you heart attack by not chewing good she stole! This led to me saving her life, whenever she visits I never take my eyes off her due to the fear of that happening again! Some say I'm way over the top by my love for that dog is to big to type into words. Kishy the lovely sheep dog has also joined my pack and is the best dog ever I work shift patterns which consists of 2-10pm & 6-2pm through the week, working 1 weekend in 3 at this moment. I am looking for another job which is 8-4 but will have weekends available. My wife works Saturdays until around 4 so I have time to spend with a new best friend I would treat anyones home the same as mine with respect & dignity. I mostly enjoy being outdoors so having a new walking Friend would be amazing.
“Abigail and Jose hosted our rescue pup for a trial night which was his first time staying away from home since we’ve had him. Their care and attention to detail was phenomenal and instantly made us and Tiggy feel safe and comfortable. So willing to work around our dogs needs and he had the most amazing time, he wanted to stay and go on another scenic walk in the countryside. ☺️”

About: Loads of experience being a dog mum to three different breads, different temperaments and different needs to a GSP , Beagle and a Mini Dachshund With a flexible university schedule, I’m often home, making it easy for me to care for my own dogs and look after other fur babies. I assure care, safety and full attention towards my pets and other owners dogs. I’m a great sitter as patient, responsible whilst also keeping the environment clean and comfortable for them. My flexible university schedule means I can spend quality time with pets, and my experience with my own dogs has taught me how to handle different temperaments and needs with care and confidence.

About: What sets me apart as a cat sitter is the combination of formal education, hands-on experience, and a genuine understanding of feline care and behaviour. I studied Animal Care at college for almost five years, giving me a solid foundation in animal welfare, health, and the specific needs of cats. Alongside my studies, I spent four years volunteering in a cat shelter, where I gained extensive experience caring for cats of all ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. This included feeding, cleaning litter trays, maintaining hygiene standards, providing enrichment and gentle interaction, and supporting cats that were shy, nervous, or in need of extra patience and reassurance. I have also cared for cats belonging to friends and family, who trusted and relied on me to maintain their routines while they were away. I understand how important familiarity, consistency, and a calm environment are for cats, particularly when their owners are not home. I’m easy-going, patient, and respectful, allowing cats to approach me in their own time. I’m also completely reliable and trustworthy, with many references available for peace of mind. My aim is always to provide thoughtful, attentive care so your cat feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I once cared for a goldfish named Chuckie for 13 years, and have since taken on my partner's pets (1 dog, 2 rabbits and 4 rats). I also help with litter changes and enrichment, and have recently helped with vet care for one of our rabbits, including administering medications. I'm currently out of work and looking to set up a business, so I have lots of time to care for and play with animals of any kind I feed the dog, rabbits and rats regularly, and walk our dog as often as possible. I also help with vet visits when a pet is unwell.

“I contacted Sean at fairly short notice to arrange day care for our Vizsla. Checks complete and Luther has spent his first day at Sean's home today. I received updates and pictures throughout the day and I got back to a happy, waggy tailed dog. Luther had obviously had a great day with plenty of interaction. Excellent communication from the outset. Highly recommended and will definitely be booking with him again. Thank you Sean ? ? ????”

About: 🐾 A Calm, Licensed Home-from-Home Experience Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I provide fully licensed home boarding in a calm family environment where your dog is treated as one of the household, not as part of a kennel environment. Why choose me? ✅ Fully licensed by the local authority ✅ I work from home, so your dog enjoys company throughout the day. ✅ I board ONE household at a time, meaning your dog(s) are never mixed with unfamiliar dogs. ✅ Meet & Greets are encouraged before every first booking. ✅ Individual care tailored to your dog's routine, personality and needs. 🏡 Exclusive Boarding Unlike many boarders, I only accept dogs from one household at a time. This provides: • A quieter, less stressful environment. • Ideal for nervous, elderly or rescue dogs. • Individual attention throughout their stay. • No mixing with unfamiliar dogs. As availability is naturally limited, early booking is recommended, particularly during school holidays and peak travel periods. 🐕 Boarding Capacity To ensure every dog has sufficient space, supervision and comfort, I operate a 3-2-1 Maximum Occupancy Policy. • Up to 3 Small dogs • Up to 2 Medium dogs • Or 1 Large / Giant breed (All dogs must be from the same household.) ❤️ Experience I have experience caring for a variety of breeds including: • Border Collies • Boxers • Cocker Spaniels • Corgis • Australian Shepherds • Labradors • Lhasa Apsos • Australian Labradoodles • Rhodesian Ridgebacks I'm confident handling energetic working breeds as well as smaller companion dogs, adapting exercise, enrichment and care to each individual dog. 🩺 Vaccination Requirements As a licensed home boarder, I am legally required to verify that every dog in my care has current core vaccinations. Before a booking is confirmed, please provide a copy (digital or paper) of your dog's vaccination record covering: • Distemper • Infectious Hepatitis • Parvovirus • Leptospirosis This helps keep every dog safe while ensuring compliance with local authority licensing requirements. 🤝 Communication I aim to respond promptly to every enquiry and appreciate the same in return. Because I only board one household at a time, dates remain available to other owners until a booking is confirmed through Rover. 🐾 What you can expect • A genuine home environment. • Daily updates and photographs (if you'd like them!). • Plenty of companionship throughout the day. • Calm, patient handling. • Walks and routines tailored to your dog's individual needs. • Your dog treated with the same care and respect I'd expect for my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I already walk 2–3 times a day, typically for around an hour each walk. I structure my day around providing consistent exercise, attention, and supervision, ensuring dogs get plenty of physical activity and stimulation throughout their stay. I’m at home for most of the day, so dogs are rarely left alone for long periods. My routine allows me to maintain a calm, stable environment with regular feeding times, walks, rest, and supervised garden access. I’m flexible and able to adjust my schedule to suit each dog’s individual needs, energy levels, and routines, including puppies or dogs that require more frequent attention. I provide a calm, safe home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family and their usual routines are followed, including feeding, exercise, and rest. I only board dogs from one household at a time, ensuring full attention, a stress-free environment, and no mixing with unfamiliar dogs. Dogs have access to a secure garden for supervised outdoor time, alongside tailored walks based on their individual needs and energy levels. I take a careful, responsible approach to care, prioritising safety, consistency, and comfort so each dog can settle quickly and feel at home. Owners receive regular updates with messages and photos for complete peace of mind while their dog is in my care.

About: My family and I had a West Highland terrier who lived till the ripe old age of 21! We adopted him from my grandad when he passed, who also had 5 previous westies all called skye-original I know!! I am a very active person who lives the company of a dog. I would be quite often found walking on the south west coastal path or along a beach somewhere. Unfortunately I work full time so it would be impractical for me to have my own. Most recently my parents welcomed the most beautiful working cocker spaniel, Stan, into their lives, who I also adore. I work full time Monday -friday but free after 5pm on week days and all day weekends. However, please message me as I can be flexible. We have an enclosed walled garden, with a gate. We also have full wooden flooring on the first floor of the house. Easy to clean!
About: 🔒Secure and safe gated play park walks 📸 Regular pup pictures and updates 🌲On lead forestry walks 👋🏻 Meet & greet before booking 💓 Cared for as if they were my own 🥰 Lots of hugs and cwtches I know how nerve wracking it can be to be without your pet and my aim is to make dog & owner’s experience as stress free as possible! Growing up we have always had dogs and I have taken on a lot of the walking/training responsibilities of both our animals and friends and families. I have lived with and looked after a variety of breeds and have experience with larger dogs too. Myself and my partner would love a dog of our own, but due to work commitments changing in the future I don’t want to commit to a dog of our own and not be able to meet its needs 100% of the time. So by offering services through rover I can fill that dog shaped hole in my heart and provide your pets with the love and attention they need when you are unable to x I am a freelance makeup artist and have a flexible schedule which will allow pet care to fit in to my routine easily and allows me to give them my full attention. I will be the primary caregiver to your pet. However when my partner Becky is not working, we will be caring for your pet together and both love going to long walks and adventures so your dog will get plenty of exercise and entertainment whilst in our care! Currently only offering pet sitting in their own home. It’s important to me that your pet is safe and comfortable in somewhere they know. I will ask all about their routine and how best they usually like to spend their days, so I can continue to make them happy and comfortable when you’re not there.

“Waffles had a fantastic time at day care, he loved playing with another dog and I had updates too. Bronwen was very professional and I had no worries leaving him in her care, I look forward to him staying for boarding as I know he will be well looked after.”

“Oliver was absolutely amazing with Harley, we had a meet and greet before Harley stayed with him for the weekend, which made Harley so comfortable with the home, surroundings and Oliver himself, he was excited when we dropped him off as soon as he saw Oliver. We had regular updates when we asked how he was, he went on walks, cwtched on the sofa, played ball and overall was very well taken care of. Oliver eased my anxiety so much for leaving Harley, he reassured me and confirmed my hope that he would take excellent care of my boy, he was safe and happy! We will absolutely book with Oliver again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for high quality care for their furry loved ones!”

“Jasper had a wonderful time with Kate and her family. She kept me well informed about how he was doing and some lovely pictures of Jasper playing and living his best life in her lovely home and surrounding fields. I would not hesitate to recommend Kate to anyone looking for a dog carer. Jasper can't wait to go back !”

“Fantastic find, Maisie and her family took care of our old English sheepdog for 2 weeks whilst we were away and they were the best sitters we've found. very communicative throughout her stay and are clearly a dog / animal loving family. They even offered to hold onto our dog for an additional night due to delays in returning from abroad. i would recommend them to anyone and will definitely try to re-book again in the future.”

“Ida took wonderful care of our Sprocker Spaniel and has renewed our hope after a terrible experience at a local kennels. She is clearly very experienced and comfortable with dogs and made Kimber feel very welcome. Communication was brilliant with photo updates throughout the weekend. We’re delighted to have found someone locally who is reliable and with whom our dog is comfortable and happy. Would most definitely recommend!”

“Fantastic first experience! This was my first time using a pet sitter, and Elizabeth made the entire process seamless and stress-free. She was absolutely fantastic and kept me constantly updated with reassurance and photos. My dog, Forrest, settled in with her immediately and was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend Elizabeth and will absolutely book her again!”

“We wouldn't hesitate to leave Eric with Caitlin and her partner again. They have a real passion for pets and took great care of our greyhound. Good communication and helped us out when our flight was delayed meaning a very late collection. Thanks so much guys!”

“Kimi had a two night stay with Christine to see how they both got on together, I received regular updates including photos and video showing that Kimi was very happy during his stay. Christine and Fean made Kimi's first stay easy to organise and I felt comfortable mentioning any aspect of Kimi's behaviour, I was confident that Kimi was receiving excellent care and it was so good to be able to relax while away, knowing that he was in such good hands.”

“Needed a dog sitter at short notice after being let down at the last minute a few days before we went on holiday. We could not have asked for better as Crystal & her family made our Roxy feel so at home. Had daily updates & photo's which was very reassuring. I would high recomend Crystal as I found her very caring & professional.”

“Dora appeared to have settled in quite well with Sophie and her lovely family straight away... I was very happy to have left Dora after an intentional introduction visit, Dora was fussed by both Sophie and her daughters and made very welcome.... I would recommend Sophie and will be using her service's again in the future...”
