“We couldn't have asked for a better family to look after Ozzy while we were away. From the moment we met them, they made us feel completely at ease, and it was obvious how much they genuinely care about the dogs they look after. We received regular updates, photos and videos throughout our holiday, which meant we could truly relax knowing Ozzy was happy, safe and having the best time. He was treated like one of the family, with plenty of love, attention, walks and playtime. Ozzy can be a little nervous in new situations because of his previous eye injury, but they were incredibly patient, understanding and kind with him. They took the time to let him settle at his own pace, and it was lovely to see how quickly he became comfortable and confident with them. Since coming home, we've actually noticed a real difference in his behaviour. He seems much calmer and more settled, and we're convinced spending time with their lovely resident dogs has had such a positive influence on him. It's been wonderful to see, and it's a real testament to the environment they've created. When we collected him, he looked so happy, healthy and relaxed, and it was clear he'd had a wonderful stay. We're so grateful for the amazing care they gave him and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again. “Fab experience with Mandy from start to finish, quick replies setting up meet and greet to meet my dog to start, meet and greet went really good, Mandy showed me around her home and talked a little about her routine would be. Communication continued after meet and greet, then when booking came, Mandy was in contact to arrange times etc. Communication all weekend with pictures and videos of my dog. Would definetly recommend!”
“Neil recently looked after our senior springer spaniel for a week and we can honestly say, from the moment we meet Neil before Pheobes stay, we knew we made the right decision and she would be in the perfect hands. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, I lost my beautiful miley a few months ago (my 12 year old Frenchy) and it still hurts, it's too early to get a new dog so im opening up my home and life to yours I offer so much love and care I've had dogs my life, different breeds, different temperaments and know every dog is different and every dog needs different attention, all we ask is to know everything about your dog so we can give him or her exactly what they need while your away were hoping to offer everything from overnight stays to walks to home care. We want you dog to feel safe secure and happy. My beautiful fur baby unfortunately passed away recently so I currently have no routine, I'm more than happy to mimic your current routine to your fur baby Our garden is huge, and fenced off with two gates that have signs not to open we are happy to mimic your home routine as much as possible so your babies don't get home sick.

Our 14 month old Ridgeback had a fabulous 5 night stay whilst we went away on holiday, and we shall certainly not hesitate to book her in again. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
