About: I’ve got a 1-year old Cavapoo that absolutely loves other dogs. I take him for at least 2 walks a day, sometimes three, being very active myself and situated within a short walk to two parks. To me dogs are too good for us humans. I believe their good nature should be rewarded with love, affection, walkies, cuddles, and all the belly rubs they want. I’m self employed and work from home so they’ll never be left on their own for long, if at all. I’m home most of the time, being self employed and working from home. When I do go out, I tend to bring my own dog with me so I know all the dog-friendly places. So just as my own dog Edgar is well looked after, so will your beloved fur baby. I have a fenced in garden and a three bedroom home which is fully open to your pup. I have a small crate if needed and all the necessary things since I have my own small dog.

I can’t praise Khalid highly enough for looking after my little puppy; he sent daily updates about their walks. It was a very last-minute booking, but he took him on without any problems. I’d highly recommend him because he knows how to handle a dog and how to keep him occupied.
Sevval and Austen took such good care of Sylvie while we were away and sent lots of updates which was great to see and took away any anxiety around leaving her. They made sylv part of the family for the weekend and she went on lots of lovely walks/ trips and outings! Really appreciate the level of care, thanks so much! :)

Spike had the most WONDERFUL time on his holibobs! Communication with Georgia and her partner was fantastic with lots of pictures and videos. The kept in touch daily which was such a relief for us. Hazel and her husband were perfect dog boarders. They took our lurcher last minute, and were helpful and communicative throughout booking. I can honestly say it was an entirely positive experience: they cared for her impeccably and kept us updated on all her needs and activities. Jasmine was absolutely amazing with my dog Charlie. It was my first time I have left him alone in 13 years so you can only imagine my worry, but throughout Charlie’s stay with Jasmine I was sent regular photos of Charlie having a great time. Jasmine really treated Charlie like part of her family . If you’re looking for a loving home for your dog whilst you’re away Jasmine is the one to ask , you won’t be disappointed!
As we were picking up our baby boy, we were rebooking her at the same time. I think this explains how good she is! She kept us updated, gave Beren lots of cuddles, love and care! Honestly we feel like we’ve found our paw-partner! Beren loved her sooo much, even forgot about us when we were not with him haha. Thank you so so so much, we really appreciate you!
Willow sat for my Cockapoo Bodhi for the first time over the weekend and did a brilliant job. She was flexible and more than happy to spend a little time with Bodhi prior to get to know her, and then sit for her in my house. Great contact and communication throughout. Would deffo be happy to use Willow again.
Scott was great. Reliable, communicative and great with our bearded collie Daphne. Especially as she was a little nervous about being left alone, Scott was clearly a reassuring presence for her and made her feel at home! I can't fault him one bit and would absolutely consider him again whenever I'm in the Cardiff area.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
