A Natural With Animals 🐾
I grew up in a very furry household: 6 dogs, 10 cats, plus years of horse riding camps - animals were basically part of everyday life for me. Since moving to Cardiff, I haven’t been able to have as many animals around me, and I genuinely miss it! Looking after pets takes me straight back to those happy, chaotic, furry years. For the last two years I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs and cats, taking them for walks, feeding them, playing with them, keeping them company and giving medication when needed. I’d love to do much more pet sitting, which is exactly why I’m here. I’m patient, affectionate and easy-going with animals, and happy to follow their usual routine. I love walking, so energetic dogs and I tend to get on very well - and I seem to have a natural way with cats too, even the shy or tricky ones often warm up to me quickly! 🐈

Schedule
My schedule is flexible and I work mostly from home, so I can usually fit pet care around my day quite easily. I’m available weekdays and sometimes weekends, mornings, afternoons and evenings, and I’m happy to help with last-minute bookings too. I have a car and can travel around 10 minutes from Pontcanna/Canton.

Safety, trust & environment
I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine and any instructions you leave - every animal is different. I’m very aware of my surroundings, especially out on walks, and good at reading animals and adapting to what they need. I’m there for them, not the other way around. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and happy to help with little things like plants, post, basic tidying up or anything else that needs looking after while you’re away - and of course send plenty of furry updates! ☺️
A typical day
I’m a big fan of long walks and jogging, and with Bute Park and Pontcanna Fields just around the corner, there’s plenty to explore! I enjoy games, practising commands they already know and giving curious noses plenty to investigate. I’m active and attentive, so whether your dog wants a proper adventure or a good sniff around the park, I’ll happily match their energy - and yes, I’ll absolutely run after them if they’re about to do something silly!
