I’m a huge dog lover and regularly help friends and family with dog sitting, walks and check-ins. I’ve often been relied on to call in to feed, play with and walk dogs while owners are away, as well as providing full day and overnight care. I’m comfortable with different breeds and personalities, including golden retrievers, spaniels, bernedoodles and schnauzers. I live right by Bute Park and go there daily for walks, so I love getting dogs out for exercise, fresh air and stimulation. I’m caring, reliable and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making them feel safe, happy and well looked after.

Sophie looked after Ted and his sister at quite short notice. Sophie was fab in all aspects of the planning and visit and we will definitely use her again. We were keen to arrange a visit before their stay and Sophie was able to accommodate this. Sophie was lovely with us and the dogs and listened and was eager for info to make the stay go as well as possible. We were really happy to leave them with Sophie as she quickly understood their personality and their needs, rather than imposing her approach / rules on their them. Thanks Sophie.
Ernie had a great day with Sophie! She took wonderful care of him and paid close attention to his individual needs, making sure he was comfortable and happy throughout the day. It was clear he had a fantastic time, and he came home relaxed and content. I absolutely loved the photo updates during the day! I’d happily book with Sophie again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive doggy daycare provider.
Sophie is a kind and caring individual with a great, positive outlook on life. She adores animals and ensures that they receive her full attention when they are in her care. Sophie is very responsible, organised and meticulous in following instructions. I have always been thoroughly satisfied with her service when caring for our golden retriever, and it is clear each time that he has had enjoyed every minute, and is excited for the next visit! I would whole heartedly recommend Sophie as a fantastic and trustworthy pet caregiver.

Sophie looks after my dog regularly and she is a great dog sitter. My dog loves her so much. She gives me updates throughout the day, upholds my training standards and shows my dog so much care and attention. Regular walks, naps and toilet breaks means my dog has everything she needs when Sophie looks after her.

Schedule
I work flexibly and from home on some weekdays, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I’d typically take dogs out for one longer walk and another shorter walk later in the day, with lots of play, company and toilet breaks in between. I may occasionally have an online meeting during the day, but usually no longer than an hour, so dogs are never left alone for long periods.

I have a secure fenced garden and a large open-plan downstairs space where dogs can relax and roam comfortably. I’m happy for dogs to be on the sofa and make themselves at home. I already have dog toys, blankets, water bowls and treats from regularly looking after friends’ dogs, so I’m well set up to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment. I always try to stick closely to each dog’s usual routine to help them feel relaxed and settled.
