About: Hi, I'm Lauryn. I've always loved animals and feel most at home when I'm surrounded by nature. I grew up in Somerset with cats, rabbits and chickens, and I've had dogs for most of my adult life. These days I live in Cardiff, where I can enjoy everything from beaches and forests to mountains and countryside walks. I work remotely, which gives me a great deal of flexibility and allows me to provide reliable care for pets throughout the week. I spend most of my free time outdoors, so I can tailor my care to suit your pet's personality and needs. Whether your dog would love a long countryside hike, a beach walk, or simply some company and cuddles on the sofa, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them happiest. I have experience with a wide range of dog personalities. My previous dog was a rescue terrier who preferred her own space and wasn't particularly fond of other dogs or strangers, so I understand the importance of respecting boundaries and recognising when a dog needs a calm, quiet environment. Before any booking, I like to arrange a call or meet-and-greet so we can discuss your pet's routine, preferences, and any important dos and don'ts. I want to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting and overnight stays, and I'm happy to discuss longer bookings where needed. I have a full UK driving licence and my own car, so I can travel. I also have my own dog, Clover, a friendly Labrador cross who weighs around 20kg. She's well-trained, calm and very respectful of other dogs. If appropriate, she can accompany me on walks or house sits to provide some canine companionship; she's used to spending time with friends' and family members' dogs and is happy to play when invited, or give them space if they prefer to be left alone. I also care for cats and other small pets. For cat visits, I attend alone, as I believe your cat should feel relaxed and secure in their own environment without the disruption of another animal entering their space. Thanks for taking the time to read through, Lauryn I work remotely, Monday to Friday, which gives me a lot of flexibility and means I can plan my day around the needs of the pets I'm caring for rather than being away from home for long periods. I have my own dog, Clover, so my days already revolve around walks, feeding, training and playtime, we usually head out for at least 2/3 walks a day, with longer adventures at weekends exploring beaches, countryside trails and local parks. Throughout the week, I can provide walks, drop-in visits, and companionship, while evenings and weekends allow for longer walks, house-sitting, and overnight stays. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I'll follow your instructions on feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements and any house rules they are used to. Before any booking, I'll discuss your pet's routine, personality, triggers and preferences so I can provide care that is tailored to them. For dog walks, I only let dogs off lead where owners have confirmed it is appropriate and safe to do so. I am experienced with dogs who are nervous, reactive or prefer their own space. I have a full UK driving licence and my own car, allowing me to travel to different locations and access a variety of suitable walking routes. I always carry water on longer walks and adjust activities to suit the weather, age and fitness level of the dog. If Clover, my friendly Labrador cross, accompanies me on a walk or house sit, this will only be with the owner's agreement and if I believe the dogs are a good match. She is calm, well-socialised and respectful of other dogs' boundaries. For cat visits and small pet care, I focus on maintaining their normal routine, providing fresh food and water, cleaning where needed, and spending time with them in a way that suits their personality—whether that's playtime, affection or simply quiet company. If you are away I can keep you updated with pics and videos, as well as letting you know how they ate so you can be reassured while enjoying some you time

About: I’ve had my own dog for 4 years and raised him from a puppy, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. As a dog owner and Rover user myself, I understand the level of care, love and attention every dog deserves. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness always come first, and I’ll make sure they’re treated like one of my own while they’re with me. I also have a real soft spot for dachshunds and specialise in caring for them. I understand their little personalities, their quirks, and the extra love and patience they need. I’ve looked after so many dachshunds for longer stays and would love to become a regular sitter for owners looking for a safe, loving temp home for their dog while their owners are away. Well, I am a full time dog sitter/walker. You can expect a tailored and regular scheduled time to hang out, go for walks at the local parks. Lots of attention provided! We are very active and ratio about 3 to 4 walks a day as we enjoy getting out into the fields and enjoying the day. I provide dog walking, check ins at your residence if needed and I can offer doggy day care and overnight care. I’m available for all kind of specific needs your pet needs.

About: I’ve owned dogs for over 20 years, mainly sighthounds, and smaller breeds, I grew up with Jack Russells, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I have looked after friends and family's dogs and cats, who regularly trust me to walk, feed, and look after their pets, whether that’s for daily care, overnight stays, or longer periods in both my home and theirs. I genuinely love animals and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m experienced in giving dogs the right balance of exercise, attention, and calm time, depending on their individual needs, whether that’s energetic walks or a more relaxed pace for older dogs. I’m reliable, and both my partner and I are trustworthy, and treat every dog as if they were our own, ensuring they feel loved and well cared for while you’re away. I work full time from home Mon-Fri and usually work one day at the office but this can be very flexible. I often work from home 5 days a week or change my days according to my calendar and pet sitting arrangements. I have an eclosed fenced garden with no back access, I have a front gate and friendly neighbours. I have a very animal friendly home and have looked after dogs of most ages, they are treated as if they are home from home, with parks nearby.

About: Hi, my name is Maddie and I love cats and dogs! I come from a family of cat-people, so I've looked after five family cats in my life, and a dog. Currently I live with my partner and our 10-year-old cat Sooty. In 2019, I took-up pet-sitting alongside my studies at university and regularly looked after three chihuahuas. Now, I'm settled in a job and I'm looking to take up pet-sitting again. I've recently had a few cat-sitting jobs and really enjoyed it. About: I’ve owned my Dalmatian for over 8 years, and caring for him has taught me the ins and outs of daily dog care — feeding routines, exercise needs, grooming, and lots of patience and love. While I haven’t worked professionally outside my own home, I bring genuine, hands-on experience and treat every dog like part of my family. I’m reliable, attentive, and always put your pet’s comfort and safety first. I personally handle all care myself — no one else assists with looking after your pet. I run my own business, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I’m generally available for walks, sitting, and boarding at most times of the day, and I’ll only take on a booking if I know I can give it my full attention. This flexibility means I can often accommodate last-minute requests as well as regular, recurring care. My partner and I share our home together, and we don’t currently have any pets of our own, so your dog would get our complete, undivided attention throughout their stay. While we don’t have a private garden, we’re just a minute’s walk from Sophia Gardens park, so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, exercise, and fresh air every day. We keep a calm, clean, and comfortable environment, and we’re happy to follow any specific routines, feeding schedules, or house rules you have to make sure your dog feels safe and settled with us.

About: Hiya! Im Mia, I’m a life long dog lover and after my Gorgeous Springer Spaniel Maggie passed away I’ve been left with a dog shaped hole in my heart! I’m not currently in position where I can provide full time care to a dog of my own, so in the meantime I would love to spend time with yours! Dogs have always brought me immense happiness (as well as a great form of exercise) and I’d love to be able to provide that for you too! I work Monday-Friday 9-5 so weekends are what works best for me, I don’t have any ‘formal’ dog sitting or training experience but I’ve owned several dogs and am super comfortable with them! I work a 9–5 job throughout the week, however on the weekends I’m more than game to spend some time with your wonderful dog! I’m keen to be more active where I can, so if walks are needed that’s no problem at all, but equally I love cuddles as much as the next person! Your dogs comfort is the utmost important thing to me, I don’t want to ruin any routines or upset them in any way! I’m happy to learn what YOUR dog needs, not just what A dog needs! About: I’m based mainly in Cardiff, and spend most of the holidays in Pembrokeshire. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, mostly rescues and larger breeds, and I’m confident around dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I have experience with dog walking, sitting and overnight stays, as well as caring for puppies, and I’m comfortable with basic training and different routines. I particularly enjoy getting to know dogs who need a little extra time and patience to feel comfortable. I also have experience with senior dogs. My family dog lived to 15 with Cushing’s disease and struggled with her back legs, so I understand the extra care and patience older dogs may need. I’m happy to adapt walks, routines and care to suit each dog’s individual needs, and will always treat them as my own. I’m starting my Master’s in September, with lectures on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings/afternoons, but I’m otherwise very flexible. I’m generally available for walks and drop-ins from around 7am onwards, with weekends usually free. I’m also available for overnight stays and can work around my university schedule where needed. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I’m happy to follow their usual routines, including feeding, walking, sleeping and medication, and I’m comfortable caring for nervous dogs or those with individual behavioural quirks. I take walks one dog at a time, unless dogs are from the same household or you specifically ask otherwise, and I always make sure collars/harnesses are secure and follow your instructions around leads and off-lead walking. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you know how your dog is getting on while you’re away. I have a full, clean driving licence and am able to drive to a vet in an emergency if needed. I’m currently working towards a dog first aid qualification and will always prioritise making sure your dog feels safe, settled and cared for.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and have never known a time without a dog in my life. Growing up in Cornwall, I’ve had exposure to a vast variety of animals, giving me hands on experience across a wide range animal care. Animals care has always been a natural part of my schedule, and I understand every pet has its own individual personality and needs to make sure they feel safe and loved whilst in my care. Training and working springer spaniels is something I’ve grown up doing, so I’m comfortable with handling energetic dogs, and I understand the importance of patience and consistency. I can guarantee I will always care for your pets with the same kindness and attention I would give my own. I work full time in Cardiff 8am - 4pm, finishing early every Friday (2:30/3pm). Before and after these hours I can ensure they will received plenty of affection and quality time, especially dedicated in the evenings and weekends. My partner, who is also a big dog lover, works from home, so your pet will never be alone whilst in our care. I live in a clean, secure, gated community apartment complex. I am happy to accommodate crate-trained or training dogs to provide a quiet and safe space. I do not currently have any pets living with me, so your pet will have my full attention and no need to adjust to any resident friends.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since forever. When I was growing up, my family had a Labrador who had puppies and I looked after them. I am grateful for any interaction with a dog. When I’m in public, dogs tend to come to me all happy and friendly, so they must like me. When it comes to real experience, I have trained dogs before in order to be able to do basic tasks like sit, lay down, stay/wait, fetch, roll over, paw… I have also gone through initial puppy stages when they need the most care. I have also previously owned a cavalier King Charles spaniel and a cockapoo, but unfortunately had to let them go due to my ex keeping them. My wife will be helping me with this and we would share the responsibility, please see her in photos as well. She’s also incredible with dogs. There is no extra charge for that. I am currently working full time from home, I can pick and choose when to go to the office and if I don’t go there at all, it’s not a problem. I am also single so don’t need to plan things and compromise with anyone. I have a fenced garden, but currently not offering a service where I would dog sit in my own home. I am available to dog sit in the owners’ homes.
