About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have over 15 years of caring for them. I’ve looked after dogs for friends, family & through BorrowMyDoggy in London. I work from home full-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for dogs throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I’m a very active person. Regular walks, toilet breaks and exercise are already a part of my day! I live in a clean, secure flat and don’t have any pets of my own so your dog will have my full attention. While I don’t have a garden, I’m happy to provide as many toilet breaks, walks & outdoor adventures your dog needs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your baby with someone else, and I will always treat them with the same care & attention I’d want for my dog (Rosie!).

About: Our family dog passed away 2 years ago now, and after spending 11 amazing years with her, I would love to take care of other people’s loved pups as they are most definitely part of the family! Dogs make a massive difference in our lives and we are so lucky to have them as our own! I am currently training as a student midwife and have great caring skills, although for people- but I am able to adapt my skills in different situations. I will always ensure that your pets needs are put first and will ensure they are always taken care of as if they are my own. To note, no additional people will be assisting me to look after your dog. I’m currently a student midwife in university and have lots of free time most evenings and some weekends! I would ensure your pup is cared for correctly and treat them as I would my own :) Due to student accommodation, I would only be able to attend your residence for pet sitting or I love a nice walk! I would ensure they get as much exercise as they need!

“Kat looked after our cat Beans for two weeks while we were away on holiday. Kat was very quick at getting in touch when we first enquired and she was very good at communicating with us whilst we were away. She came twice a day to feed and play with Beans and sent us pictures to reassure us he was doing fine during the heatwave and he was still being his usual greedy chops at meal times. About: I lived with dogs (labs and spaniels) for most of my childhood and was always taught how to train them, how to walk them, and the other essentials of pet care. I currently work from home and have a flexible work pattern so can regularly take pups for toilet breaks/walks. I regularly go on long walks when we can. All I need now is a dog to take with us! Dogs will be given as much or as little attention as needed during the day, able to roam as they please. I’m happy to talk to owners about any specific requirements and we’ll see what we can do!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have two of my own back home: a Samoyed and a Poodle, which I miss very much🥺, And I’m used to different personalities, ages, and needs. They’re completely different, which has taught me how to understand each dog individually. I’ve trained my own dogs, including crate training, potty training, and basic commands like sit, stay, spin, paw and recall, so I’m confident handling behaviour in a calm and consistent way. I also enjoy making dog friendly treats and I’m very aware of what’s safe and unsafe for dogs. I’m a graduating student staying in Cardiff over the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give dogs plenty of time, attention, and love. I have an easy access to a park and a garden, which is ideal for walks and outdoor time. I acquire an enhanced DBS check for added reassurance. I’m happy to help with anything from walks and day care to longer stays, and can also support with basic training if necessary :) I’m available throughout the week for walks, day care, and overnight stays, so I can be really flexible depending on what you need. I’m also quite an active person and love my morning walks, so having a little companion with me would make it even better My home is set up to be dog friendly and clean, so it’s a comfortable environment where dogs can settle in easily. I have access to a garden for quick toilet breaks. And I don’t have any other pets at home

About: I’ve taken care of pets since childhood. I had cats all my life at home and have taken care of friends and families dogs over the last five years. I work full time but am able to work flexibly from home every day apart from Thursdays. Monday and Thursday evenings I have a sports club 1900-2200 so would have to be out during those times. I am really happy to adapt my care to the individual needs of each animal. I love walking and also snuggling up at home. I am happy putting dogs in crates if needed and keeping an eye on them outside where not fully secure.

About: I have previously worked with pet training specialists and can provide my own knowledge of how to care for your pets behaviours. I also have experience in dog resuscitation, for emergencies and can look after dogs with special needs/medical illnesses/requirements. I am currently using rover and other pet care websites as my full time job. This means I am available all day every day, at any time to take care of your pets! I will look after the pets as if they were my own. I understand boundaries and respect within someone’s home. I’m here to give you a trustworthy place to leave your animals. Any requirements you have for your home or loved pets, can be done. Usually when doing these jobs I bring my husband along, just for safety reasons and to also help out on demanding jobs. If you’re not okay with that, let me know and we can work around it!

About: Throughout my time sitting on Rover, I have gained experiences with dogs aged between a few months old to senior dogs, as well as experience with high-energy and rescue dogs. These experiences have allowed me to really get to know and understand the needs of each dog and how to truly fulfil what they enjoy doing the most! I can care for your pet on short notice and would love to give them the extra love and company that they most definitely deserve. I pride myself on providing regular updates and pictures for each walk, drop-in and house sitting, as I know how important it is for many owners to know that their pet is happy and well-looked after! I also have access to my car so can either travel out further to care for your pets, or if comfortable, can take your dog on a beach walk! I absolutely love taking care of both dogs and cats and would love to lend a helping hand to anyone that needs care for their pets while they're away. I am currently living in Cardiff, with availability across the summer. In September, I will be starting my Masters in Cardiff so will have availability over weekends and holidays. I am able to provide care on short notice too! Before caring for your pet either within your own home or out on a walk, I always make sure to ask of the specific needs, likes and dislikes of your dog. I have found through my previous dog walking and sitting experience that this is so crucial for ensuring that each pet is kept safe and happy while in my care. If your dog is happy to be off-lead, on-lead, likes treats to be brought on walks or likes to stick to the routine trails that they usually go on, I think its really important that the needs of your dog are catered for. I have experience with nervous and reactive dogs, and take extra care with those that may need a little extra space on walks. My goal is to make sure that your pet is safe, comfortable, and most of all, happy when going on walks or within my company within your home. I am always more than happy and encourage meet and greets before each sitting to ensure that your pet is comfortable with me!

I have a full UK driving licence and my own car, so I can travel. I also have my own dog, Clover, a friendly Labrador cross who weighs around 20kg. She's well-trained, calm and very respectful of other dogs. If appropriate, she can accompany me on walks or house sits to provide some canine companionship; she's used to spending time with friends' and family members' dogs and is happy to play when invited, or give them space if they prefer to be left alone. I also care for cats and other small pets. For cat visits, I attend alone, as I believe your cat should feel relaxed and secure in their own environment without the disruption of another animal entering their space. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I'll follow your instructions on feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements and any house rules they are used to. Before any booking, I'll discuss your pet's routine, personality, triggers and preferences so I can provide care that is tailored to them. For dog walks, I only let dogs off lead where owners have confirmed it is appropriate and safe to do so. I am experienced with dogs who are nervous, reactive or prefer their own space. I have a full UK driving licence and my own car, allowing me to travel to different locations and access a variety of suitable walking routes. I always carry water on longer walks and adjust activities to suit the weather, age and fitness level of the dog. If Clover, my friendly Labrador cross, accompanies me on a walk or house sit, this will only be with the owner's agreement and if I believe the dogs are a good match. She is calm, well-socialised and respectful of other dogs' boundaries. For cat visits and small pet care, I focus on maintaining their normal routine, providing fresh food and water, cleaning where needed, and spending time with them in a way that suits their personality—whether that's playtime, affection or simply quiet company. About: I’ve had a deep bond with dogs since childhood. I grew up with a German Shepherd who was part of our family for 12 wonderful years. I always enjoyed our walks, playtime, and cuddles she truly shaped my love and understanding of dogs. After she passed, I continued caring for dogs by helping my cousin at her dog hotel, where I regularly walked and cared for her five Huskies and other boarding dogs. These experiences taught me how to handle various breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. Now, I have a rescue dog from Oman who has been with me for almost two years. When I adopted him, he struggled with severe anxiety and fear of going outside. With patience, structure, and positive reinforcement, he’s made incredible progress. This journey has given me valuable experience in working with dogs who have experienced trauma or display challenging behaviors. While I didn’t pursue my childhood dream of becoming a vet, my passion for dogs and animals has remained strong. I believe animals, especially dogs, are among the purest souls in the world—and I treat every dog in my care with love, patience, and respect. I am currently out of work so I am available mostly at any time except Mondays and Thursdays between 6-9 pm but I’m available any other time I always follow the owner’s instructions, every dog is different and has different needs. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs, specifically cats, between the ages of about 8-18! I’ve also helped with newborn bulldog puppy and kitten care, including overnight feedings, playtimes and toilet breaks. I’m currently studying full time at uni, but my campus is easily accessible and my schedule is very much self-made, as it’s all coursework and art based! As someone who has three bulldogs at home, one whom has many health issues, making adjustments to support their needs was especially important! About: I've always loved animals, most specifically dogs. I have always had dogs (labrador, terriers and a giant Newfoundland) and I've had a Cat in the past (who had thumbs?!).
