About: I’ve grown up with dogs and been the primary Walker. I’ve moved away from the family home and therefore always keen for opportunities to walk and look after other pets. I work on a hybrid basis and therefore typically have good availability to dog sit and dog walk throughout the week. I’m happy to have a conversation if there’s certain timings for pet care or schedule that works best for you. I always ensure that any pet is well looked after and comfortable in the pet owner or my home and they’re given full attention. I only walk and care for one dog at a time so each dog gets my full attention and there's no risk of dogs not getting along.

About: I have taken care of animals from a young age, and have experience with puppies, and older dogs! I have helped groom animals. Have so much experience with walking them and catering to their needs. I have experience with support a dog shelter to walk the dogs that have not been re-homed. Many of these dogs had extra needs. I currently work from home and I love waking but am missing a furry friend! Have a lot down time to care for lovely animals! My home is super cosy and I can make the adjustments to suit your pet. Our garden has recently had a makeover, but a small wall on the right side. I will ensure that safety procedures are in place while in the garden.

About: I strongly believe in allowing dogs to come to you. As adorable and squishy as they can be it’s important they trust you and we don’t force ourselves on them. I’ve had dogs since I was a child, I’ve frequently taken care of family and friends pets also - some for long periods of time. In the last 5 years I’ve also had my own dogs with my husband from our beautiful Cavachon🌈 to our now two crazy 3 year olds one a chocolate Labrador and the other a German Shepherd. I am well acquainted with behavioural issues as well as dogs with high anxiety and trauma. Our Cavachon was adopted and had a lot of trauma based anxiety leading to biting. Our German Shepherd is a rescue who didn’t have a great start in life and she’s a very nervous dog (far less nervous now though!), I also have experience with puppies as our Labrador we’ve had from 8 weeks old, she’s a menace! I also have experience with: - Behavioural Issues - Separation anxiety - Giving oral medication - Applying topical medication - RAW feeding - Daily health routines (teeth brushing, ear cleaning, bathing and brushing) - Older dogs - Small and large breeds It’s important dogs feel comfortable and I will follow any routine your dog is used to at your request. I’m also happy to be provided with a list of training commands your dog uses to ensure I am reinforcing the correct words and behaviour. I drive and always have dog seat belts available. In case of emergency I would be able to take your pet to a vet’s. If pre booked by you I am also happy to take your dog to a secure field if you’d prefer them to have more freedom. *I have a disability and can use a variety of mobility aids depending on the day. Please let me know if mobility aids can be triggering for your pup. I can also work in homes that aren’t accessible (just ask if you have any concerns). I work part time for the company my husband and I run. This means my hours are flexible and I typically work from home. I am fairly flexible and I’m open to last minute requests. I follow your guidance, you know your dog best as well the routine your dog(s) know. Whilst I’m in your home I will treat it with absolute respect and always leave it as I find it. I know many owners myself included love to receive frequent updates and photos which I am always happy to provide. If your preference is different I will also respect this and meet your expectations. In the future I hope to open up my own home also.

About: I’ve previously owned a cat myself and genuinely enjoy spending time caring for animals. I also have experience looking after dogs for my boyfriend’s family while they were away or working, so I’m used to being responsible for pets’ routines, feeding, companionship, and overall care. I’m calm, patient, and attentive to different animal personalities, whether they’re energetic and affectionate or more shy and independent. I’ve also helped care for newborn puppies, which taught me the importance of being gentle, observant, and responsible around animals. I’m currently on summer break from university, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. Even when I have occasional coursework or assignments, I’m able to work remotely, which means I can still spend lots of quality time with your cat and maintain their usual routine and care. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I will feed them on time, refresh their water, keep their litter area clean, and make sure they have a calm and tidy environment. I’ve also regularly cared for dogs for family members while they were away, so I understand the importance of reliability, patience, and keeping pets comfortable in their familiar surroundings. With cats especially, I understand that every personality is different, I’m happy to give affection, playtime, and cuddles if they want it, while also respecting their space if they are more shy or independent. I would treat both your cat and your home with care, patience, and respect.

About: I’ve had a deep bond with dogs since childhood. I grew up with a German Shepherd who was part of our family for 12 wonderful years. I always enjoyed our walks, playtime, and cuddles she truly shaped my love and understanding of dogs. After she passed, I continued caring for dogs by helping my cousin at her dog hotel, where I regularly walked and cared for her five Huskies and other boarding dogs. These experiences taught me how to handle various breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. Now, I have a rescue dog from Oman who has been with me for almost two years. When I adopted him, he struggled with severe anxiety and fear of going outside. With patience, structure, and positive reinforcement, he’s made incredible progress. This journey has given me valuable experience in working with dogs who have experienced trauma or display challenging behaviors. While I didn’t pursue my childhood dream of becoming a vet, my passion for dogs and animals has remained strong. I believe animals, especially dogs, are among the purest souls in the world—and I treat every dog in my care with love, patience, and respect. I am currently out of work so I am available mostly at any time except Mondays and Thursdays between 6-9 pm but I’m available any other time I always follow the owner’s instructions, every dog is different and has different needs. I always pay attention to my surroundings and make sure the dog is close to me.

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets at my hometown, including two cats (British Shorthair and a domestic shorthair) and one Broder Collie. I’m very familiar with daily pet care routines such as feeding, providing toilet breaks, playtime, and giving lots of love and attention. I’m comfortable looking after both cats and dogs of different personalities. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of flexible time caring for and playing with your pets! Boarding is available everyday with advance notice. I live in a pet-friendly flat in a quiet, welcoming neighbourhood. There are already several lovely cats and dogs around the area, so it’s very pet-friendly. My place is close to Victoria Park, which has great space for walking dogs, exploring, and getting fresh air.

About: With access to a large garden for your pup to explore, and Heath Park and Roath Parks nearby your pup will have plenty of access to exiting exercise. My super-freindly bealge will be a great companion too. I've had my dog for over 4 years and looked after my neighbour's dog for longer. Raising a beagle puppy has taught me how dogs learn and interact, and I use this knowledge to keep her stimulated and occupied so can offer enrichment games to keep them occupied even when it's too wet to walk. I speak Welsh so am able to communicate with dogs who have been taught commands in Welsh. I work part time and from home most days so your dog wont be alone and will have plenty of attention. I am able to manage my own work schedule allowing me flexibility to accommodate your dogs routine. My dog is super friendly and would make a great playmate, however she is respectful of others space. I take my dog out to the local park twice a day. Outside of work I have few commitments so am available for walking and drop in visits. Your dog will have a comfortable stay as they will be allowed on the sofas. I have enough space for indoor play and a large secure garden for exercise. My friendly beagle will be a great playmate for your dog. If your dog wants more space I am 2 minutes walk from Heath Park. I can crate if needed.

About: I’ve always had pets wether they be dogs or cats I’m great with both, I have also trained a puppy before so have experience with that I would be looking into making this a full time job so any opportunity is appreciated and any timing or days I can do, I am quite available Ideally I wouldn’t be taking your pet(s) home with me I am a renter but I can make the odd exception and I do have a fenced garden

About: I adopted a 12 year old German shepherd/lab mix with my roommates when I was 18 and he lived with us for 2 more years. I’ve missed him so much since that I’ve been looking after my friends‘ dogs regularly, sometimes for weeks at a time. I’m particularly experienced with bigger and senior dogs, having looked after an 11 year old boxer, a 13 year old Staffie mix and a 12 year old terrier mix for longer amounts of time. I just moved to Cardiff and am currently only working part time so that I have plenty of time during the week to look after your pet! I’m available Wednesday to Friday and on Sundays as well, longer stays can be arranged on request. I prefer looking after a dog in their own home where everything is familiar to them. I’m happy to learn about your routines and feeding schedules. I can take a dog into my flat for shorter stays and I live very close to Roath park for a nice long walk.

About: I have 2 cocker spaniels at home currently, I have grown up with animals around me and have looked after my family dogs on many occasions. I have also dog sat for a neighbour’s dog who is a Leonberger so no dog is to big or small! I love long walks, lots of cuddles and play time! I miss being around dogs and dog walking whilst at university and would love to be around them again! I am currently a midwifery student at Cardiff university. I am in lectures from the 1st of June so am available before 8am and am available after from around 4:30. I am free most weekends for drop in sessions or walking. Please drop me a message if you would like to enquire about my hours! I do not have dogs living with me in Cardiff and so am able to take care of dogs who may not be friendly with others. I would be respectful of the dogs current routine such as walking them in specific areas that they like and would keep all dogs on a lead to ensure that they are returned safely to you!

I’m a vegan, and I love all animals and treat every single one as if they were my own beloved pet! With my current job I’m unable to have my own dog, so it’s my absolute pleasure looking after other people’s when I can! I’m working full time, 4 days a week on week days only. I have weekends and evenings free and would love to use it looking after your pets! I live in a second floor flat. Dogs are welcome in my home and on the furniture. We have green space just outside the flat entrance and plenty of lovely local walks for me to take them on

About: I’ve been a dog owner for all 20 years of my life. I have three dogs back home—two seniors and one puppy! I’m currently studying drama at Royal Welsh and I miss taking care of my dogs so much! I spent my years in secondary school pet-sitting/house-sitting for people in my community, and I am a very responsible woman who would love to take care of your pet! :) I’m currently a student studying at Royal Welsh, and I am free at midday, evenings, and weekends. I absolutely love an evening walk, and I also welcome less active dogs. I am available to pet-sit overnight. I am currently unable to board at my home, but I am an incredibly meticulous person, and I will treat your home with the utmost respect, most of all ensuring that your pet stays comfortable in their own home!

About: I have been around animals all my life and have a fondness for many. I have had experience taking care of dogs and cats of different size and ages and feel comfortable looking after them. I would make sure your pets are very cared for! I am soon to finish my uni course which means I will have more availability to take care of your pets! I am someone who gets up early and can walk dogs around 6:30am and also finish my usual tasks by 3:30pm. I can comfortably keep your pets safe at your home and I am willing to follow your safety instructions for your pets. I will make sure your pets are comfortable and that they have everything they need.

About: Strong history of empathetic and compassionate care for animal companions in a verity of settings. Flexibility in my schedule and lots of love to give! Attended puppy training with my own dog and have cared for multiple different breeds from family friends ranging from 3 labradors and horses to frechies and Italian greyhounds. I am currently a university student at Cardiff and I usually go on walks through Bute park in my spare time and would love to have a companion with me ! My schedule is flexible and I tend to have most evenings off as well as the weekend and all day Thursdays. I keep my dog on the lead untill we are walking in a safe and contained area , or rather large open park where I know she’s safe and always in my eyesight. I also keep treats on me and have very good call back response.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and animals since I was 9 years old, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. After recently losing our family dog, a Large Munsterlander in 2025, and moving to a new city, I really miss having that companionship. That’s what’s inspired me to join Rover and support other dog owners with their pets. I’m an active person who loves running and being outdoors, so I’m always happy to take dogs on walks, explore new places, and make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I have experience living with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from young and energetic puppies to older dogs who need a slower pace. I also have hands-on experience supporting anxious and reactive dogs, which has helped me become very attentive to body language and behaviour. I’m confident in reading signals, respecting boundaries, and creating a calm, safe environment for every dog. I understand that every dog is different, and I always adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. Whether your dog is playful, shy, energetic, or prefers a quieter routine, I aim to make them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. I work full time so I can either take time off work if needed or I tend to work remotely from home. I would be happy if dog sitting to work from someone's home. My first priority in looking after your dog is the dog itself so I love to wake up, take a coffee with me out on a dog walk and make sure they are happy for the rest of the day! I can do a lunchtime walk as well also if your dog needs this. Alternatively, I am a keen daily runner and love to do this outside so if your dog likes running/is trained to do so, I would be happy to take them out on a run! If I was looking after your dog on the weekend, I like to explore new places and would love to take your dog to the beach, to the mountains, out exploring new areas to really fulfil their day! I have previously had dogs with our family and have been trusted to look after them on my own most of my life. I am attentive to understanding the dog and the rules of the house and making sure they are comfortable with me. I have been trusted to look after not only our own family dogs but friends dogs as well as house sitting for my colleagues 4 dogs as well. I work remotely so this tends to be a relaxing environment for a dog to sit with me for the day. But with being active and wanting to spend time with the dog also, I love to walk and take the time to be with them and give them the love and attention they deserve!
