Hiya! I’m Christy 😊 I’m a nurse by day and a devoted pet mum by night to my lovely older cat Ken, our new puppy Toast, and a horse called Tequila! I’ve grown up surrounded by animals (at one point we had five cats!), so I’m very comfortable caring for feline friends of all personalities. I also have experience looking after rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish. My work shifts are arranged fairly last minute, which often gives me flexibility to fit around your pet’s needs. I also have an up-to-date DBS check through my role. I’m fully trained and confident in administering medication, including injections, so you can feel reassured your pet is in safe hands. I’m lucky to have many repeat clients, so I recommend getting in touch early, especially around holidays, as I limit bookings to make sure every pet gets the time and attention they deserve. I’ll keep you updated with daily messages and plenty of photos, so you can feel confident your pets are happy and in safe hands while you’re away. I’m always happy to help with little extras while you’re away too, like watering plants or putting the bins out, just let me know what you need. Once Toast is fully trained and vaccinated I will start taking boarding and dog walking requests.

As a Mum, pet owner, and qualified nurse, I am highly organised and attentive when caring for your pets and your home. I will always try to accommodate any additional requests, looking after fish, hamsters, plants, bins, whatever it might be to help you to relax and enjoy your break without worry. I am experienced and happy to administer medications and basic first aid. I have a current DBS check, as does my partner as he is also a nurse.

Christy was an absolute star with our Mr Blue Cat. Updating us while we were away, giving him loads of care and love and sending us lovely photos. Christy even brought our bins in, watered our plants and tidied up Blue's messy litter toilet stones! When we got home Blue was sooo happy and relaxed. Christy is an amazing cat sitter and genuinely a lovely person. She did a great job of looking after our cat "April" whilst we were away for 8 days. She sent me regular updates and was very reassuring that April was fine in my absence, particularly as it was during the intense heatwave. Christy even took April out in the garden on a harness when weather cooled down. ( we normally do this). Couldn't recommend Christy enough. Thank you. Xx

Schedule
I am available weekday and weekend mornings and evenings at short notice, and can usually accommodate same day visits if required in emergencies. I have some full day availability on weekdays and weekends with prior arrangement so please get in touch to discuss your needs.
