About: Hellooo I’m Phoebe, I’m a qualified veterinary surgeon and starting a new role which means I’ll have some days off during the week and weekend. I grew up at a child minders who also had a pet sitting service, so from a young age have looked after anything from hamsters and tortoises to large-breed dogs. I have my own dog and tortoise who I adore! As a vet, I’m comfortable with giving medications at home and following your pet’s routine as closely as possible! I have an attention to detail and am more than happy to give you regular updates and photos. I’ve been working as a vet now for 2 years and starting a new role this summer! I have my own tortoise and dog who I adore. In my new role at work my shifts are constantly changing, which means available dates are not regular. But we can have a chat about what you and your pet need and work out a plan from there! On weekdays I can possibly do drop ins before and after work for cats, so just drop me a message to check dates that aren’t available on my calendar. I believe all pets are different in terms of what they need when their pet parents are away or busy. Sometimes this is a change of environment and other times it’s home stays. Unfortunately since I am in rented accommodation I cannot provide overnight stays, but I can walk dogs and do drop ins for a variety of pets. I can also house sit during the day. Due to my own pet responsibilities, overnight house sitting is not ideal.

I’ll provide clear communication, so you'll receive regular updates on your pet's well-being while you're away. Whether it's ensuring they get their medications, exercise, or cuddle time, I'm committed to maintaining their routines and keeping them happy. I’m currently at home full time, so have space and time to look after your pets needs with my full attention. My husband also works from home, so someone is about even if I have to pop to the shop. Can offer cuddles and hugs for any other animals that need the care whilst you’re away, happy to discuss. I can work with you to tailor care in our home, or at yours. I’m happy to discuss regular or occasional walks, day or overnight care. We have a fully enclosed garden, plenty of space at home, a car for visits and doggy days out.

About: Hi, I’m Leah I started offering pet care in June, and since then I’ve really enjoyed getting to know lots of lovely dogs and pets and gaining hands-on experience caring for them. While I’m still relatively new to professional pet care, I’m reliable, caring and take the responsibility of looking after someone’s pet very seriously. I grew up with and cared for my own English Bulldog, who was 10 years old when she sadly passed away last year. She was a huge part of my life and helped me realise just how much I love caring for animals. I’m fully insured, DBS checked and have completed a dog first aid course, so your pet’s safety and wellbeing is always really important to me. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their individual personality, routine and needs. I currently work 26 hours a week over 4 days, so I have regular days and times available for pet care. I always make sure I only accept bookings that I can fully commit to, so your pet gets the time, attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in their own home, I always aim to keep them comfortable and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding times, walks, medication and any other specific needs your pet has. I understand that leaving your pet and home with someone new can feel daunting, so I’m respectful of your space and take their safety and wellbeing seriously. About: Since a young age both Fra and myself have cared for animals. We both had cats and dogs in our homes since birth and have looked after them with utmost care and attention. In our adult years we have taken house sitting seriously and have cared for several homes and a variety of pets. From dogs and cats, to lizards, frogs and guineapigs, we've cared for them all. Pet care takes priority when it comes to our weekly routines. We have various jobs and hobbies, yet we are very flexible and can usually cater to the needs of the animals are the requests of the pet owner. About: Hi - I’m new here on Rover, but I’m certainly not new to dog walking and animal care ! I am a fourth year vet student with a special interest in dogs, cats and all our other small furry, fluffy and feathery friends! I have experience with dog walking having spent a year as a Cinnamon Trust Volunteer. Alongside this volunteering, I have spent extensive time in animal rescues, including employment at Romney House Cat Rescue Centre, and experience at Brighton RSPCA, and Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre. I also volunteer regularly for street vet, a charity that provides medical care and supplies to homeless individuals and their pets across Bristol. Alongside my degree I have completed a total of 20 weeks in vet surgery’s across the country. This has left me with a strong grasp of animal first aid that will allow me to ensure your pet is both happy and healthy when with me. I am fond of all creatures great and small, and also have experience working on yards, dairy farms and lambing. I would love to walk your dog on any agreed time outside of my University hours. This includes - before 9am or after 5pm during the weekdays and any time on the weekends. I can also offer lunch time walks on Wednesday from 1pm onwards. Being one year away from a qualified vet means I have a solid understanding of animal health, wellbeing and happiness. I will use this knowledge to ensure me and your pet always have the best and safest time when together.

About: I have been working with animals since I have been 17 and I just love the way every dog is different and I enjoy going out with walks and feeding them every morning my own dogs have their own set routine in the morning I am currently not working at the moment so I have seven days a week to look after any other animals and any sort of animals I have worked in kennels before and had to stay there overnight to make sure all the animals were safe and fastened into that tense

About: We’ve always had pets including, dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, reptiles and rodents just to name a few. Because of this I absolutely adore animals and enjoy meeting each personality, we’ve taken in older animals for their last stretch on this side and rescued plenty of fiesty babies who become beautiful happy babies. My whole family just loves animals, because of this whilst I’m at university in Plymouth I thought what better way to reduce how much I miss my babies than to look after others. I’m going into my second year at Plymouth and found missing my animals was a huge adjustment so I hope this will bridge the gap for myself. For the last six years I have been looking after neighbours and friends animals when they go on holiday or have an emergency and truly enjoy spending time with them as well as looking after them. Hopefully I can do the same in Plymouth. Im currently going into my second year at university in Plymouth with a changeable but low course load. This means that I am available for plenty of time with your pet be that toilet breaks and some loving or house sitting with them or taking them on a walk when needed. I’m looking forward to exploring some new areas and I believe there’s some English heritage places I haven’t been to yet! Because I am staying in halls I am unable to care for pets in my home however I would be happy house/pet sitting when I would only have to leave for university lectures which tend to be 2 hours long (plus commuting)

About: My whole childhood involved Dogs, I have also looked after several friends dogs due to my job being home based and flexible on times. I came across Rover as I was seeking a House Sitter and decided that I can give back. I have 2 dogs myself who are all friendly and have different needs due to their ages so can be tailored to your dogs requirements. I work from home and have flexible hours. I have a large garden that dogs can go in and out of the house as they please. We have a field next door which is great for a 25 /35 minute walk. I tend to run my two younger dogs and then a slow plod for my eldest. I have helped various neighbours with their dogs for days as my work is home based and flexible for your dogs and requirements can cater for all.

About: I’m 27 years old and have lived with dogs my whole life. I am currently living with a cat named Gizmo who is around 1.5 years so I am very happy to look after cats too! :) At home I have a Miniature Schnauzer and a Welsh Terrier in my that I’ve looked/helped look after since I was little :) I did the more practical and ‘harder’ jobs starting at 13 years old! I love dogs ever so much and enjoy being around them whenever I can. I regularly walk a Miniature Schnauzer and Doberman called Max & Grace from Borrow my Doggy who I have created a lovely relationship with for about 4 years now. This has helped me gain experience professionally with dogs other than my own as I have helped assist with socialising them, recall and good walking habits. As I’ve been around dogs practically my whole life, I’m confident with any dog of any age that needs to be walked, given attention and cuddled! I’m easy to talk to, a hard worker and I follow instructions well to cater to any dog’s needs. Currently working from home on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays & Thursdays - I am available any evening, all day on my non-office days as I work from home! I have a driving license so I’m happy to travel by car to your house or do any type of work whether it’s a one off situations or for many weeks. I am able to house sit and come to you in order to look after your furry friend and I am happy to do a video or phone call before in order for you to get a sense of who I am and vice versa!
