About: Originally from Portugal with over 27 years caring for pets including my own (dogs, cats, fishes & hamsters) and rescuing dogs and cats and finding suitable owners. I’ve started dog walking, pet and house sitting over 10 years ago. I don’t have any pets at the moment as it would be too sad to leave them behind while I’m traveling. My aim is to make them happy but please note I can only accept the following dogs: All breeds as long as they are obedient, non-destructive, and non-aggressive and have a calm and gentle nature. I do not accept incontinent dogs, dogs that chew furniture or other household items. I do not accept dogs that are aggressive with other dogs or people. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and I’ll be happy to help. I work remotely as an Energy Assessor so I give doggies all the attention and two walks per day. During the weekends we go on hikes. I am fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary and hold an enhanced DBS check.

About: Having grown up with dogs, cats and horses. I am a huge animal lover. I have pet sat and dog walked from a very young age. At the age of 16 I trained a disobedient male Labrador called Buddy, the family told me I changed their life. I have a way with animals, I love cuddles, walks and playing. I am always happy to assist with looking after pets other than dogs and cats too. No pet is too much for me and with me, they’ll be guaranteed to be spoiled with love. I usually work away on superyachts but I have come home to take a break and possibly find a change of career. Animals have always been the centre of my world and I am hoping this can go further. I will follow all instructions given to keep your pet as safe as possible! I am also happy for pets to stay upstairs with me if this is what they’re used too or shut downstairs if that’s your preference.

We’ve both grown up with dogs, giving us a deep understanding of their needs, personalities and quirks. Natasha: During my time in Bondi, I frequently looked after dogs, providing walking, sitting, and general care with love and dedication. I’m committed to ensuring your furry friends receive the attention and exercise they deserve. 🐶🐶 Lara: I’ve owned and cared for family pets from a young age and I absolutely love dogs. I’ve cared for my own Cockapoo for 12 years and taken care of family friends’ dogs for over a decade, providing lots of cuddles, enrichment and exercise. With us, your dog is guaranteed to be with someone around the clock. We always send daily updates with photos of your dog on a walk at the beach, socialising in a cafe or relaxing at home. The stats say that I don't send photos with my bookings, but I ALWAYS do! I just don't use the Rover App to send them. Both Lara and I work from home, allowing us to dedicate plenty of time to pet care throughout the day. We incorporate regular walks, playtime, and training sessions into our routine, ensuring your dog receives both exercise and attention. With an outside space and the beach less than 5 minutes away, we can provide a safe environment for pets to play and explore, making their experience enjoyable and enriching. In our home, we prioritise a safe and welcoming environment for pets. We secure hazardous items and provide cosy spaces for relaxation. Whether in my yard or at a pet owner’s home, we maintain routines to ensure pets feel comfortable and cared for. We’re both committed to building trust with both pets and their owners, always communicating openly about their needs and behaviours. Your furry friends will be treated like family!

About: I have been looking after all kinds of pets my whole life, I’m very experienced with all types of dog or cat and I’m happy administering medications if needed, including injections. I work full time as a vet surgeon so my ability lands mostly on weekends and my regular day off Monday. I work full time as a small animal veterinary surgeon, for this reason I don’t have much availability during the week days but most weekends I am free for pet care and cuddles! Lots of love and cuddles! I am big on safety so once your dog has demonstrated that they have good recall, we can enjoy off lead walks in the forest. I love training and also desensitising pets to vet exams with lots of treats and positive reinforcement.

About: We’re Marta and Jay, lifelong dog lovers and experienced pet sitters based in Bournemouth. We’ve been dog walking, house sitting and looking after other people’s pets for several years, as well as having two dogs of our own, Fred and Ulu. We’ve both grown up around dogs and are comfortable with all kinds of breeds, sizes, ages and personalities. We have experience with puppies, large dogs, older dogs, anxious dogs and reactive dogs, so we understand that every dog needs something a little different to feel safe and settled. Because we’re dog owners ourselves, we also know how important it is to genuinely trust the person looking after your dog. We treat every dog in our care as we would our own and always try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. We both work from home and have flexible schedules, meaning we can spend plenty of time with the dogs in our care and work around feeding times, walks, medication and individual routines. We live in a house with a fully fenced garden, dogs are welcome on the furniture, and we’re happy to accommodate crates, beds or whatever your dog is used to at home. We’re also very happy to provide regular photos and updates while you’re away - we know how reassuring it is to actually see that your dog is happy and settled! If we happen to be unavailable for the dates you need, we can also recommend a dog sitter we personally know and trust, and who we’re happy to leave our own dogs with.
