About: I have always had dogs in my life and genuinely love spending time with them. I have experience caring for different breeds and sizes, including a Cocker Spaniel, Labrador, Border Collie, French Poodles and mixed-breed dogs. I had my own Cocker Spaniel, Jack, who was a very special part of my life. Since moving to Portland, I really miss having a dog around, so dog walking and pet care feels like the perfect way for me to spend time with dogs again while doing something I already love — walking! I am caring, patient, responsible and attentive to each dog's individual personality and routine. I understand that every dog is different, so I am happy to follow the owner's instructions regarding walks, feeding, routines and any particular preferences. Most importantly, I would look after your dog with the same care and affection I would want someone to give my own. 🐾 I work shifts, so my availability varies throughout the week, which actually gives me plenty of flexibility for both weekday and weekend walks. I love longer walks and I’m happy to arrange regular or occasional walks around my schedule. I’m also available for pet visits and pet sitting. Having both a car and a motorbike gives me the flexibility to travel around Portland and Weymouth depending on the weather and your pet’s needs. Just send me a message and we can find a time that works for you and your dog. I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog. I will always follow your instructions and your dog's usual routine, including feeding, walking preferences and any special requirements. I’m patient and attentive, and I’ll take the time to get to know your dog and what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m also happy to send you photos and updates while they’re with me.

I spent 10 years living and working on a farm with boarding kennels, where I was deeply involved in the daily care, feeding, exercise, and monitoring of animals in both home and professional settings. My passion for animals has been a constant throughout my life, reflected not only in my work but also in always having my own cats and dogs. I am confident, compassionate, and attentive to the individual needs of each animal, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I am around all day, which allows me to make sure pets always have access to fresh food and water. I regularly provide walks, playtime, and attention to keep them active and happy, while also monitoring their overall wellbeing. If medication is needed, I can administer it on schedule, and I am comfortable maintaining any training routines to encourage good behavior and consistency. Overall, I make pet care a priority by ensuring pets are safe, comfortable, exercised, and well cared for throughout the day. I provide a safe, trustworthy, and caring environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure while in my care. I have a good-sized fenced garden for outdoor time and exercise, with woods just behind my home as well as plenty of nearby fields and coastal walks that are perfect for dogs who enjoy exploring and staying active. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident leaving their pets with someone reliable, and I always aim to give pets the same attention and care they would receive at home. I am also happy to come to your home if preferred, helping pets stay relaxed in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine.

About: Extensive experience caring for and boarding dogs from a young age as a part of a family business. I grew up in a home where we boarded all kinds of animals but mainly dogs. We have had long term and short term stays and dealing with all different breeds and personalities has taught me patience, care for specific needs, a deeper understanding for how each dog requires different activities for stimulation and fun. This inspired me to do my canine psychology A-level as I was so passionate about caring for dogs, knowing their rich history and knowing how to care for them in the right way. I am currently studying Canine psychology from home so my hours are very flexible. I am a full time carer for my Dog Buddy who is a lively and very friendly cockapoo, aged 2. My daily and weekly routine would be built around your dogs needs and comfort. I have cared and looked after many different dogs, including anxiously attached. My home has a fenced garden that is fully secure so you're dogs can roam free. They are allowed in all areas of the home as its fully safe and secure. There are plenty of safe places around me (woods, park, beach) depending on your preference. Your dog would have my full attention and love as dogs are the thing that makes me happiest in the world.
