“What can I say an amazing couple really looked after our old lady. She was so relaxed and loved her walks as well as sitting back and chilling. Karen was great at keeping in touch and sending pictures. I would not hesitate in recommending these amazing people.”

About: We have looked after friends and family pets in the past. We live in enclosed bungalow with garden. No pets of our own since we lost our bernese 3 years ago. No children. Grandchildren visit occasionally. My wife is retired and I currently work 2 or 3 days a week. We do not have any of our own pets and grandchildren visit occasionally. We have a fenced garden. A patio area and a lawned area. Pets will always be treated as if they were our own. And we will always adhere to the owners wishes and requests.

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I work full-time but over three condensed days, which means I have plenty of time during the rest of the week to dedicate to dog walking, sitting, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I share my life with a rescue dog who is incredibly friendly and has never met another dog he didn’t like. We spend our days off exploring all kinds of places together—coastal paths, woodlands, beaches, as well as towns, villages, shops, and dog-friendly cafés. I understand how important enrichment, exercise, and socialisation are for a happy, well-balanced dog. I have a particular passion for rescue dogs and believe every dog deserves a fulfilling, loving life, regardless of their start. I’m patient, attentive, and mindful of each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s high-energy adventures or a calmer, more relaxed pace. I’ve looked after many friends’ dogs over the years, from regular walks to overnight stays, and I always treat them as if they were my own. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a dog go home happy, content, and tired after a fun day. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and genuinely passionate about dogs to look after your pet, I’d love to help. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work full-time over three condensed days, which means I have several days each week fully available for dog walking and sitting. My schedule is known up to 8 weeks in advance, so I can plan ahead and accommodate bookings where possible. On my days off, I usually start the day with a morning walk between 9–10am, lasting at least an hour. In good weather, this can turn into longer outings of several hours, with breaks for rest, water, and lunch. I also provide a shorter, calmer evening walk around 6pm for 20–30 minutes. Dogs in my care have regular access to the garden for toilet breaks throughout the day, and I always ensure a final toilet break around 9pm before settling in for the night. I’m happy to adapt my routine depending on each dog’s needs, whether they prefer longer adventures or a more relaxed pace. I provide a safe, relaxed, and home-from-home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. In my home, dogs are welcome in all areas and can choose where they feel most comfortable—whether that’s on the sofa or in their own bed in the lounge. I have a fully secure, fenced garden with no external access, so they can safely enjoy time outside whenever needed. I don’t use crates, but I may be able to accommodate one for smaller dogs if that’s part of their usual routine. For overnight stays, dogs are welcome upstairs and can sleep on my bed or in the spare room—whatever helps them feel most settled and secure. Although my own dog is not food reactive, I always feed dogs separately to ensure they each eat their own meals safely and at their own pace. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I am very respectful of routines and house rules. I would need to bring my own friendly, well-socialised dog with me, and I’m happy to follow your preferences—whether that’s keeping dogs off furniture or maintaining specific routines.
“Cherie went put of her way to make Mitsu comfortable in her house, sleeping in front of the fire, & when the bit of chicken I had left her in addition to her normal food, as she wasn't eating very well Cherie supplied her with some more. Above and beyond expectation. Thank you”

“Kateryna did a wonderful job looking after Buddy for five days. She gave him great care and sent daily updates with cute photos. Buddy was happy, relaxed, and very well fed when we came home. I trust her completely and highly recommend her cat-sitting service.”

About: I have been around dogs since a very young age and have always been very animal focused, I have taken care of dogs for family and friends for the past 12 years and I now have my own male cocker spaniel who is a very loved member of our family. I am currently working part time (Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday) but I am around all day on a Thursday Friday and weekend meaning that your dog wouldn’t be left alone for longer than a quick trip to the shop and on weekends we tend to do long family walks at the forest or beach. I have a large fenced garden and my own 6 month old cocker spaniel to keep your dog company, i also have a large kitchen where I could crate your dog with a stair gate to the living area where my dog is crated at night; so time out can be given when needed during the day too.
“I am both glad and relieved that we found Danielle, we were so worried about leaving him with somebody new. We were given constant updates and sent photos of him, clearly enjoying his stay. It made our weekend away so much more relaxing, without the worry of Arthur being safe and happy. He even bonded with her two year old son, who was quite upset when we came to collect him. We will definitely use Danielle again and cannot thank her enough for her care and communication.”

“Absolutely fantastic! Great communication from enquiring, to booking a visit to make sure our dog got in well with Barney, to booking, before our stay and durn, we had regular videos and photos and communication with Matthew, when we messsaged we would get a reply pretty instantly which was lovely being our first time away from Belle. She has come back happy and content and believe that is all down to Matthew and the family making her so welcome, keeping her routines and the way she likes her bed and things. Thank you so so much, we will be booking again for this year as we feel so comfortable at ease, and Belle instantly took you.”

“Chris p 4//9/26 l am so grateful to Matthew and his wife what a lovely couple. I haven’t left my fur baby golden retriever for over 4 With out me , But after meeting them i felt so lucky to be able to have a lovely break knowing she was in safe hands will definitely 💯 be rebooking Thanks again and thanks too your little doggie making her so welcoming 🐶”

“Yves and her partner looked after our 2 boys for a day and night while we got married. They were amazing, offering them a home away from home. We got regular picture and video updates showing the fun they had. Both dogs are home with us again, tired out from all the fusses and cuddles. 100% would recommend and will use their services again.”

“From the moment Ernie got out the car and walked to Jacqui’s house his tail wagged and his bottom wiggled. He was very pleased to see Ralph. The videos sent shown Ernie having so such fun and even though he was pleased to see me when I went to collect him, he also was reluctant to leave! Thanks for looking after Ernie, Jacqui and Ralph.”

“Tilly has had a wonderful time staying with Jenny for our 2 week holiday. Jenny sent us a photo every morning to let us know what fun they were having :) We wouldn't hesitate to book Jenny for any future holidays. Tilly has come home very happy and content as if we were never away.”

“Our energetic 5 month old Lab puppy was so well cared for, and we received regular photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious our puppy was happy, well exercised, and given plenty of attention and affection. Thank you”

“Dora and Morris were very excited to see Holly and Giles and had a wonderful home from home holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and on the spur of the moment, they entered Dora into a doggie beauty contest at our local village fete, winning Dora her first ever rosette! Excellent communication and daily updates. Can’t recommend them highly enough.”

About: As a dog-owner with plenty of neighbours with pet, I have been a reliable source whenever my neighbours have needed someone to look after their dogs / cats. I am super-active and love taking dogs out for long walks on beaches, local parks and discovering new places! I am an incoming medical student starting at Oxford, looking for a little extra cash to help me with my studies, as well as an opportunity to look after loads of furry friends!!! I’m currently not working and am in a stage where I am in preparation for university, and so I have plenty of time and flexibility to look after your pets. I have a 14 year old dog who is super friendly, but as I live with my family I am able to accommodate your pet without bringing my dog. I have a medium-sized garden and live right by lots of parks and the quay so there are lots of lovely walks that I will be able to take your dogs on! My own dog is super pet-friendly and would love to keep your little one company. I take my dog out for regular breaks and so your furry friend will have lots of outdoor time should they need it!
“Ela was incredible. Originally we asked her to look after our Satffy for a weekend while we had our wedding, we then asked her if she could look after him at the ceremony and even walk him down the isle as he was our ring bearer. She was faultless, so caring and thoughtful. We could see Tyson our staffy felt happy around her and comfortable from the get go. She took great care of him back at her flat and sent us updates. We honestly can't recommend and thank her enough for being so helpful and kind.”

Lisa and her dog Biscuit are so lovely and I highly recommend Lisa. Our sprocker stayed with Lisa for 5 nights and it was during the latest heat wave. Lisa took such good care of her and made sure she was walked early in the morning and later in the evening to avoid the high heat. Lisa was extremely caring and loving to Lily and we hope that she can have a visit again sometime soon.

Our pets are usually one of the most beloved things in our lives so trusting someone else to look after them is always a concern. But we shouldn't worry when there are people like Steven B to 'cover for us'. Steven gave my elderly dog the space and time to develop a bond with him, always looking out for her, encouraging her to explore and keep active. I have no hesitation in heaping praise on Steven and thank him for looking after my beloved old girl.
