About: I've had dogs most of life: as loved family pets and taking care of friends and neighbours dogs for long and short stays. I love going out on the beach for a long walk with them, up on the common or playing games at home. I have 1 family dog who comes to stay often who is blind so I'm used to dogs who need a bit more love and attention. We'll start with a morning walk on the beach or the Maer, some breakfast and then a couple of hours down time until a lunch time wander. After work, we'll have a longer walk over the cliffs, on the common or along the beach. Can play fetch or other games and then home for a chilled evening. I work full time mostly from home and only have doggos to stay on days I am at home. I can use a crate for your dog if needed, or have plenty of space for a bed of theirs. They can bring toys over too. I don't have a garden but live right by the beach and gardens and can go out during the day as well as morning and after work if they need it. I'm happy to have your dog overnight too.

About: I have cared for animals since I was very young. Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Fish, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters Chickens and Horses. Animals have always been a part of my everyday life. I am only work part-time so have plenty of time to give live and attention to your fur babies. For animals that wan't attention I am happy to play. I always ensure an owners home is looked after and secured as if it were my own home. I always keep it clean and tidy.

About: Ive always had an affinity with animals. I had cats growing up and have been a dog owner for the last 7 years. Before then i used to walk dogs in my local area. Very affectionate towards animals and will give them what they need whether that is walks, cuddles or a quiet place to relax. We have an enclosed garden where animals can safely play. I work from home and am my own boss so I have plenty of time to look after and play with your dog. I have my own medium sized dog who gets on with all dogs and is happy and calm. I have a fully enclosed garden and space to play, sniff and explore. The dogs can come in and out as they please and there are places to chill and relax. Dogs are welcome on the sofa.

About: I have been on Rover for a little while now and I have walked dogs for clients and friends for the past 5 years and often sit dogs at my house for friends and family. I have had a very corporate job for past 3 years and am trying to get myself out of that world and start walking dogs and sitting dogs on a more permanent basis. I love being out in nature walking it’s my favourite thing to do. I love dogs so much, they just make me smile and make me feel good, I love spending time with them. I am a very respectful person, I treat peoples houses and dogs how I would like mine to be treated. I care for people’s dogs at my house with love and kindness as I do my own dog.

“Yves and Nick were absolutely fantastic with Romy. She’s still very much a puppy, so I’m always a bit nervous leaving her with someone new, but they made her feel comfortable almost straight away. Communication was great throughout the day and it was so reassuring to get regular updates and photos. What really stood out though was that Yves’ partner (Nick) was also there, fully involved the whole time… you can tell they genuinely enjoyed playing with Romy and keeping her entertained, not just “watching” her. It honestly feels like, for them, this isn’t simply dog sitting as a job, they really want the dog to have the best time ever. And that’s such a huge thing for any owner, but especially when you’ve got a young puppy and you just want to know they’re happy, settled, and having fun. We’ll definitely be booking again.”

About: *PLEASE NOTE* *Due to studying Level 3 City & Guilds Dog Grooming I only have weekend availability until August 2023* I have been taking care of dogs since our first Rottweiler/Labrador, Bruce, we rescued when I was 11 years old. There have been countless dogs, cats and small animals that have been in the picture my whole life where I was reliable for walking, feeding, bathing, cleaning our enclosures, nail clipping and following through with medication for specific needs. I have worked with a range of dogs from tiny Daschunds to Newfoundlands and am an acitive member of the Cinnamon Trust and also did a lot of borrow my doggy before getting my Golden Retriever - Harvey. I also have a cat who is on thyroid medication so am more than happy to assist with any treatments you pet may need. I have been to South Africa and Namibia to work at wildlife conservation and rehabilitation sanctuaries which was incredible. To see these animals get sent back into the wild after you have nurtured them and turned them from frightened orphans to active members of their society is just absolutely heart warming. I have also responded and actively pet sitted for people through FB posts who have needed help. This ranges from Guinea Pigs to Boxers. The safety of your pet is the most important to me. I have a secured side fence that can only be opened from the inside and a well sized garden with patio and astro-turf. CCTV is right by the front door and also up looking out over the drive as I am on a main road. I also have inputted a slide gate leading between the drive and outdoor front porch as an extra caution when I got Harvey. My Golden Retriever absolutely loves EVERYONE and EVERYTHING! He is every mans best friend and every fur babies companion. He doesn't mind how old, the breed, size, gender everyone is a friend for Harvey and he is great company if you are looking for your pooch to have some companionship. Only accept dogs when not working so I will be with them the whole time. We plan our weekends around dog boarding so the pooches always come first! I always love to do photo and messenger updates through the stay or trip daily so please also provide wether you would prefer these through the app or on a social page like WhatsApp! :) your trust in me with your fur baby/ies is the utmost important and pre-booking meet and greets are always welcomed and available! Photos of the house will be sent over prior to arrival if using a boarding service or again, I am more than happy for you to come and take a look around before making any final decisions :) We will look forward to welcoming you!
