About: I've been around dogs most of my life and have owned several dogs. My most recent dog, a Springer Spaniel, was with me for 13 years. Since he passed, I have looked after several of my friend's dogs. I am also registered with Guide Dogs as a Puppy Fosterer and have looked after lots of their dogs as well. I am retired so have lots of time to devote to your dog. I love going for long walks and exploring my local area. I also enjoy sea swimming. I have a fenced garden and 2 doors to my main front door offering extra security when I have visitors. I have plenty of space for a crate if needed.

About: I offer daycare and dog boarding for a small number of dogs, who will have me, my husband, and our own dog Rufus for company day and night. Rufus is an eight-year-old ''viszlador", a wire-haired viszla / lab cross. He gets on best with females, but he's also fine with males once properly introduced. We have no other pets. We take 2-3 daily walks on the footpaths, coastal paths and beaches of the area, and your dog will have access to our enclosed garden and plenty of toys. I work part-time from home, so I'm always around and am easily able to schedule in some play time and plenty of exercise. We have an enclosed garden and enclosed rear courtyard. Your dog will have access to their own spot in the house if he or she wants some quiet time away from any other dogs. We will agree in advance to any particular preferences you have, such as when (or if) it's OK to let your dog off the lead, sleeping arrangements, feeding schedule etc.

From raising and training our beloved family dog from a puppy into a well-mannered companion, to recently providing dedicated, compassionate care for mine and my partners senior boy in his final years, I understand the unique joys and responsibilities that come with every stage of a dog's life. Your companion will enjoy a highly active, engaging routine with plenty of dedicated play sessions, puzzles, and long, stimulating walks through the local countryside. Without the strict constraints of a standard working week, I can provide the continuous companionship, attention, and exercise your dog needs to stay happy, relaxed, and fully entertained. I have a fully secure fenced garden where your dog can play, stretch, and relax with total freedom and directly behind the house lies a beautiful, private woodland, allowing us to step straight from the property into nature for quiet, enriching walks away from busy roads and public distractions. Inside, I maintain a genuine "home from home" philosophy- dogs are warmly welcomed onto the furniture and the sofas if that is what they prefer. I want your dog to feel completely part of the family whilst they stay with us.

She opened her home and garden generously for our dog to explore freely and find somewhere he was comfortable. She took the time to discuss and understand him and his needs as an individual on hand-over. She updated us that he was settled and happy during his stay. About: I've always been a bit dog obsessed from a young age and have had a number of dogs myself, including an English Setter rescue from Croatia who'd never lived in a home before & was anxious around many dogs, excluding my lovely Labradoodle, who was his safety blanket, so a lot of love, patience & training was required to give him his best final years of life. I currently have an extremely friendly & sociable Clumber Spaniel X bitch, 16 months old who loves life & would welcome any dog in her home for a day or sleepover/s. So, recent experience of older dogs who just want comfort, company, cuddles & a short stroll to a manic puppy who didn't have an off switch...which I've since found! I live within walking distance to fields & the coastline & work from home with a secure garden so can offer your dog a little holiday whilst you can enjoy yours guilt free knowing that they are happy too! I currently work part time from home, apart from Thursdays when I volunteer for Animals in Distress for 4hrs, so have plenty of time for walks & play time. I have a fenced in secure garden & have a large crate available for your dog if they feel more secure in a crate and they can enjoy the company of my very well socialised dog Clemmie. Should I ever need to pop out I have a Blink camera so that I can always keep eyes on!

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 12. I'm currently not able to have my own but adore dogs and love the thought of helping someone in the Buckfastleigh and Ashburton area with theirs. I've done some sits for people through the House sitters website (last one was a Cockapoo) and also looked after my brother's Border Collie and my in-law's Lurchers so have experience with different size dogs. As I work from home most of the week and often go for walks in the morning, lunchtime, or evening after work. I'm here all day so can tend to a dog's needs. I can also easily nip out to walk your dog if needed. I don't have a garden but have some lovely walks in the area. If they're happy to sit at home on the sofa or a dog bed most of the day then my place is perfect. If I was coming to you during the day that would work too.

“Thanks for taking great care of Charlie whilst he had a poorly foot after running into a tree on the evening before his stay. We managed to get a vet appointment in the evening after his stay and he ended up having nail surgery! He's now on the mend and we will be planning future dog-sitting soon. About: From the age of 6 my family adopted a dog and I walked and cared for him. Since then I have always loved dogs and their very individual personalities. Every time I visit my father in Spain, I happily am the one who cares for his dog. I am currently looking for work that I can do online, so that when I do have work, I would also be able to be home with the dog. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I usually visit a friend to work on an art project, although should you require a full week of dog sitting, book in advance and I can rearrange this. The dog would have access to a fenced garden. There are a few parks locally where the dog can also relieve themselves and exercise. Dogs being pack animals do love attention and I love to pet.

About: I am self-employed, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my availability and hours. I also have two animal-loving children who are at nursery and school during the day, allowing me plenty of time for feeding visits, companionship, playtime and check-ins 🐱💕 I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their cats are safe, comfortable and well cared for while they are away. I always make sure pets have a calm, clean and secure environment, follow routines carefully, and give them plenty of attention, reassurance and fuss. I am respectful of owners’ homes and will always keep communication open with updates and photos if requested 😊

“As we live in a quiet village it was lovely to leave Frank for dog-sitting in such a rural location. Mark and Fee obviously love dogs and were very welcoming. Frank was very happy when we picked him up and obviously enjoyed his long walk. Would definitely have no worries leaving Frank for a longer stay (if they would have him back!)”
