“I've known Barbara for a couple of decades and whenever she comes to see me, she's always with her Saba and whenever I go to see her, Saba and her two cats (Bounty and Tiggy) always come and join us to socialise. There is always a warm and safe vibe with Barbara and her animals, and I'm very certain that she will be a great sitter because she always puts them first and has always been natural with animals. Any and all animals I've seen her come across have taken a quick liking to her.”

About: We have loved pedigrees and rescues for over 30 years as owners. We know that finding good homes when you are away is hard. We will be that good home for you. We will work with you to ensure behavioural continuity, so that when they return, it’s like you were never away. I am currently recently retired. My partner is taking time away from work as well. We are both at home full time. If that changes we will update our profile accordingly. We have a fenced garden and access to a large local field for walks. We will take your wishes and instructions to heart and treat your baby as you would. Crating is acceptable if that is your norm.

About: From the age of 3, dogs have been an integral part of my life. Now that I’m living away from home, I’m feeling their absence. A canine companion makes a home more vibrant. Getting outdoors and being active is my objective, and I would appreciate a four-legged accomplice to venture with. I also have a special interest in dog training having binge watched Victoria Stilwell and the dog academy! So if your furry pal is undergoing training, I would happily reinforce any techniques you’re working on! Since I’m currently between jobs, I have lots of flexibility in my schedule. Whether it be weekdays or weekends, I can make myself available to spend time with your furry friend. Whatever works best for you. When caring for a pet in your home, my top priority is to maintain any established routine they might have. I will make sure to administer feeding schedules, toilet breaks, walks and any medication according to your instructions. It is also important that your pet feels safe around me, so if you could tell me the way to win their heart before the first date, that would be brilliant! As a dog walker, I’d like to focus on providing enjoyable exercise that’s safe for both me and your dog. They will always be kept on a lead unless you otherwise instruct me to let them off. Although I’m comfortable with dogs all shapes and sizes, I’m a 5,4, 20 year old woman, I want to ensure I can safely handle them. Please keep this in mind when booking me. I’d also like to be made aware of your dog’s reactivity and typical behavior on walks. Are they friendly with other dogs and people? What’s their recall like? How do they behave on the lead? Sharing this information will help me prepare in advance. Again, let me know any training you’d need me to reinforce during our excursions. In my own home, your furry friend will be sharing space with my partner and our two cats. One of my cats is sociable and pretty unbothered by guests, the other will keep her distance. They are both indoor cats. I have a small porch at the front of my house to let dogs out for quick toilet breaks but any exercise will primarily be during walks or playtime. We’ve not long moved in (yay!) so we’re still settling in and making improvements. I look forward to hearing from you and am excited to share the care my own pets receive. I have a lot of love to give!

About: Always taken care of dogs in some way. Taking strays for a walk from the kennels etc. Sister who practices vetinerary physiotherapy. Very handy. Patient. Your dogs walk and feeding will be top priority in the morning and evenings. Very flexible. If your dog needs companionship throughout the day there is always someone at home. If you need a long-term (more than 7 days) sitter that is fine but would prefer shorter stays. In terms of working away I live in Torquay but I am happy to come to you so anywhere as far as Dawlish or Paignton on the southwest Trainline. I have a fenced garden. House full of adults so no prodding or poking. Lots of love and cuddles. Non-smoker. Other homes are fine, no car but familiar with Torquay area so can walk to dog-friendly areas for a long and fun walk.

“Carly was incredible. I couldn't have asked for more for Pilchard. She was so kind, patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. Pilchard isn't the easiest of pups at the moment and is in full puppy stage but she got him to nap, gave him lots of exercise, sent beautiful photos, and let him spend time with her lovely children which he clearly loved. He was a very happy, content pup when I collected him. Thank you Carly, I can't tell you how much I appreciate how well you cared for him.”

About: I’ve had pets all my life and I just love them. I own a dog and seven cats currently. They are my whole world. I can take your pet for a walk, toilet breaks etc anytime. I will look after your pet as if they were my own. My pets are home with me and my husband too so your pet must like other dogs and cats. Your pets will fit in so well with us and we will love and cherish them whilst they are here. I can provide a safe environment for your pet. I will be happy to give them any medication if needed and lots and lots of love and care throughout the day.
