I’ve been a Rover sitter for over a year, caring for a wide range of dogs with different personalities and needs. I also studied Animal Care in school, giving me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, safety, and wellbeing. This helps me recognise subtle signs in pets, so I can make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and well looked after at all times. I’m particularly attentive to each dog’s individual needs—whether that’s sticking to specific feeding routines, providing gentle care for older dogs, or keeping younger dogs mentally and physically stimulated. I’m confident with everything from playful puppies to gentle senior dogs, always adapting to their routine to keep them comfortable and happy. What sets me apart is the level of care I give—I treat every dog like my own and keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you always have peace of mind.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a calm, safe, and clean environment where your pet’s comfort always comes first. I live in a flat, so I don’t have a garden—this means I’m very attentive with regular walks and toilet breaks, making sure your dog gets plenty of fresh air, exercise, and routine throughout the day. In both my home and a pet owner’s home, I follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things familiar and stress-free. I’m mindful of safety at all times, whether that’s secure leads on walks, keeping a close eye on behaviour, or making sure the environment is pet-safe and comfortable. I take the time to build trust with each pet, giving them patience, reassurance, and attention so they feel relaxed and well cared for while you’re away.

Mela has been brilliant with my dog. She has taken the time to get to know her and her ways, before the scheduled walks. She has given my dog fantastic walks and sent photos and videos to show me that they've had a great time.
Mela had my two dogs overnight. She was lovely, we had a meet and greet to introduce the dogs to her and get them used to her house. While I was away Mela sent several photos and videos of them running in the field. They seemed very happy out walking and relaxed in the house. I would definitely recommend you leave your furry friend with Mela and I'd be happy to have her doggy sit again.

Mela was extremely punctual when it came to looking after my pet. Went above and beyong to cater to my specific needs while watching over my pet. She made sure to keep me updated throughout the days and evenings, notifying me on my pets walks, eating havits, and sleeping patterns. Would highly reccomend her as a trusted pet sitter, helping me feeling comfortable while she stayed in my home watching over my pet.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine, allowing me to give each pet the time and attention they need. I work Mondays and Fridays until 2pm, so I’m available for afternoon, evening, and overnight care on those days. On the rest of the week, I have more flexibility and can offer a range of services including walks, drop-ins, and longer stays. I always plan my schedule carefully to make sure your pet isn’t left alone for long periods and stays comfortable, cared for, and in a consistent routine.
